Gage was a little beyond words as he contemplated the icecream. He offhandedly noted one intelligent human's suggestion that he move over to the fish stand, and the lady with the violet locks saying something that was surely a lie. The Raevan was a lot of things, but he would never be beautiful. The term was far too feminine, and to end the point, the green Frei was far happier being ugly. It was part of his identity.
He did not eat the icecream, but he kept the bowl clutched in both his hands as he started off for the other popular stand.
As he neared the other booth, Gage realised he had left his money with the Chloe woman. He had half a mind to turn around, which was partly due to the fact he now realized Roux was by the fish, but he was not in the mood to give into cowardice. Hands cupped around his bowl of icecream, he held it out infront of him as he neared a booth, almost as though it was an offering. Whether he meant it for the ice Raevan, whoever was running the booth, or someone else entirely could not be said.
His gaze, as he stopped by the booth, was set quite firmly on a Raevan he was unfamiliar with. Now, Gage was quite certain, he was nowhere near beautiful. He was nothing like that.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Yanagitani, or may I call you Natsuki?" Tsu said taking the hand to his lips in the old forms of greeting now lost on modern society. "I have heard of your Cafe, quite the popular place for people into the cosplaying culture if I recall properly. I am currently privately employed by the labs of Dr. Kyoupiruchi. Never had interest in working for a university unless they could pay the consulation fees." He smiled at the green haired girl, before realising more customers were coming to fish.
"Step right up and try your luck! Catch some goldfish to decorate your room! Spotting a couple new Frei, Tsu motioned for them to come closer and try their luck at catching fish. He went through the motions of showing that you scoop the fish out with the paper net, and put them into a bowl provided. In the end he made sure to show that they get to keep the fish they caught. Motioning nets to both the neon green frei and the one with what seemed to be a scowl on his face, he asked, "Would you like to try?"

Vyn, feeling the stare, turned around to locate its source. It was another one like her--another Raeven. Vyn returned his stare, intrigued. He was so---green. Like leaves. In his hands, he was holding out a bowl similar to hers, except his had green stuff inside, while hers was pink.
What did he want? She didn't know, so she just let him stare. She was starting to get used to being stared at, anyway.
The coldness of the bowl in her hands was starting to feel unpleasant, not to mention slightly sticky. Spying a vacant stool, she decided to leave it there, the ice cream now half-melted into a puddle of pinkish goo.
Spying on Natsuki across the booth, Shuura snickered when she saw the two hitting on each other. Vyn, as usual, was also garnering her usual share of oogling, it seemed. Shuura hoped she wouldn't let it get to her head. And ego-inflated Frei would be the last thing she wanted to deal with after going home from a long day of work.

Nyx watched the green creature near the other booth, hands outstretched with Ice cream in them, and wondered what he was trying to do. As he had noticed, the creature had ignored everyone else. Nyx distantly wondered if the creature was self-concious, or had low-esteem, and watched it almost sadly, taking small bites of his tasty ice cream.

Not startled, but not totally at ease, Gage backed up a bit from the man offering him a try at the fish. He could see the squirming little things a little, and while they were intriguing, he felt far more comfortable not trying to catch one. At least, not right away.
He left the fish and nets to Roux, deciding he was more intrigued by the female Frei who had noticed him watching her. Gage glanced away, feeling more than a little shy and awkward. He felt somewhat beneathe her, if only due to the fact he was green and she was so. Not.
Despite it all, he could not help himself from looking back over at the other Raevan. He was honestly to find that she was not angry with him for the stare, and instead seemed more worried about the placement of her icecream. Puzzled, he looked down at his own, which was beginning to melt quite a bit already. There was an excuse right there.
Loose end swirling lightly, the radioactive Frei skimmed over towards where the stranger had set down her bowl on a stool. He carefully set his own down next to it, making sure neither was in danger of falling off and creating an icecream puddle on the ground.
With a slight, purposeful cough, Gage turned to look once again at the girl. He tugged a little on his mask, a nervous gesture as he was now within talking distance of someone he felt was quite above him on the scale of... well. Life.

Vyn started slightly when the new Frei moved closer, but settled down when she realized he wasn't going to touch her but only wanted to set down his bowl too.
She studied this new stranger with brows slightly knitted, not sure of what to think. Vyn didn't know enough about what was "normal" and what was not, and probably wouldn't have cared if she knew anyway, so to her, he was just vaguely...different.
What fascinated her the most was his the single horn portruding from his forehead. His mask didn't really bother her that much. Vyn had seen other people wear things that looked like that, and those people also made those coughing noises that he did. She supposed everyone who coughed had to wear those things. She made a mental note to herself to never cough. What was the thing from his forehead though? Like the flowers on Melisande's head, Vyn wanted to know what it was, but didn't know how to voice it.

The male Raevan watched her carefully, hands wringing a little at each other as he did it. He was no longer very nervous, but there was something causing a beat in his chest. Worry, perhaps, since she was not saying anything. Gage was unsure if that meant she wished he would leave. Her gaze seemed to be settled on his face, or maybe simply... his forehead? For a moment the radioactive Frei was confused, and then he realised what she must be inspecting.
He reached up a hand, opting not to use words if she was not going to. His fingers traced the spiral of his horn. It was partly an offer, and also merely an example that it was not dangerous. The appendage could be, but it was not when Gage was merely standing here. A slight clicking sound started as his wings began to flutter nicely behind him.
Gage's head tilted just so, and he might have smiled if she was able to see it.
[Ms. Shuura, is there any possibility that you could log on to Aol Instant Messenger? I wish to discuss something with you before Vyn replies to Gage's last action in the Festival.]

Seiaeka took the icecream and nodded slightly in thanks, returning to her seat she quietly finished the bowl and poked the baggies containing her new fish with the spoon.
She looked over at the man she had heard was a Dr. Kyou? Was this the man who had created the Raevans? He looks interesting. Catching his eye she nodded to him and turned and picked up her fish, putting her trash in the wastebasket, she stepped back out into the crowd.
Once in the crowd she decided it was time to look around, and maybe try talking to a few people. She looked around, everyone was busy, she felt lonely all of a sudden. Turning she walked intot he crowd a little further and found another booth. Sitting down she ordered some Sake and proceeded to drink alone as usual, a little frustrated and depressed. Everyone seems to have friends here, but as usual, she was alone.

Vyn tilted her head slightly, observing his actions, watching the way he was watching her. Did he want her to touch it too?
Hesitantly, she reached up and stroked the slender appendage. It felt hard....and tapered to a point. She suddenly felt a little calmer as she touched it though, as if her mind and thoughts had been purified.
Lowering her hand, she let her outstretched arm drop to the side--but accidentally brushed past Gage's arm in doing so. With the tiniest of gasps, Vyn withdrew her hand sharply. Blisters began appearing on the tips of her fingers. What was this.....pain?
Vyn narrowed her eyes at Gage, fully expecting an explanation.

Gage had not quite meant for the female Raevan to touch his horn, but once she started he gently inclined his head to allow her to continue. There was a strange peace in the action, even if it only caused the green Frei to become more nervous. He was not used to someone being interested in him in a way that did not involve a scientific element. At least, he figured most of his guardian's attention did. That was the only real relationship he had yet cared about.
The serene atmosphere was gone in a moment, as soon as the stranger made the mistake of touching Gage's exposed flesh. Though the contact had not hurt the radioactive Raevan, he still jerked back as though it had struck him. The last thing he would have wished upon someone as uniquely lovely as the girl Frei was pain. It did not help that she had been hurt by mere contact with his skin. There was a sudden overwhelming sense of guilt, and the being found himself hovering farther and farther back from the other Raevan.
"Sorry," he said hurriedly. There was not the usual strange murmur to his voice. Gage's words range crystal clear. "Sorry. I did not want to. I am... sorry."

Vyn stared down at Gage's retreating figure. He harmed her (well, slightly) and now he was running away? Her slender brows knitting together into a frown, she advanced until she closed the distance between them once more.
Glowering meaningfully at the radioactive frei, Vyn intentionally grabbed his hand his time, until her entire palm was blistered, then let go. Not breaking the stare, she showed him her blistered hand, as if challenging him--if you're sorry, then DO something about it instead of running away.
At the ice cream booth, Shuura was busy hauling out new containers of melon ice cream, as the ones that had been restocked by Natsuki were already running out by this time. Occupied by her current task, she failed to notice anything out of the ordinary with Vyn.

Gage could only stare in horror as the Frei touched him again, this time on purpose. He winced heavily when she showed him the hurt hand, flinching as though he had been the one hurt. A small, odd hissing sound came from somewhere within his mask. His wings, and the quiet clicking that accompanied their movement were flapping faster.
"I did not mean to," the radioactive Raevan insisted, shutting his eyes tightly in order to block out the image of the damage he had caused. Suddenly, all he wanted in the world was to be home with his guardian. If it had been possible, Gage might have begun to hypervenilate.
Without thinking he started to double over as though in intense pain. Without his knowledge his horn was lowered until it was on level with the female Frei's hand. Just high enough that she could touch it. Up close, the appendage had a luminescent quality, almost as though it was glowing as faintly as possible. As the hurt, pushed out hand came practically in contact with the horn, the light became just slightly brighter. The blisters nearest the very tip began to heal at an accelerated rate. Purity tended to do that.

Vyn stared at her now fully-healed hand, rosy lips parted slightly in astonishment. She had expected him to do something, of course, but hadn't quite expected that "something" would happen so soon.
Her gleaming yellow eyes that usually looked so haughty, now contained a glimmer of respect. Dipping her head down slightly to give Gage a small curtsy, as if to say Well met, she looked at him and...smiled.
At the ice cream booth, Shuura nearly dropped the bowl she was washing. Did she just see---nah, couldn't have been. Vyn. Smiling. Right. Maybe when Hitler smiled. For a moment she imagined Vyn with a toothpaste moustache, and ended up with a slightly disturbed mindframe. Muttering inaudibly to herself while shaking her head slightly, she continued to wash the bowls.

Unaware of his horn's own properties, it took Gage a moment to switch from bowing to an upright position. With slight bewilderment, the Radioactive Frei watched the Shadow one do a fairly graceful version of a curtsey. The smile caught him still unawares, making the Raevan waver where he hovered.
Even though he had only know the female for a moment, there was something that told him the smile was very special. That he should mentally capture it, just in case it never came up again in actual reality.
"I," Gage began, indicating himself. As the lady had not yet talked, he could hardly assume what she understand. "Am Gage. Gage."
