Lily turned her head, in a flash she was standing over the imp with narrowed eyes. Yet hurt was hidden behind the calm front she held. Elani landed on her shoulder the tips of her feathers burning slightly. "She's not a human, she's an elf." Elani corrected, Lily holding up a hand.
"So what is this? Another scout to spy on me? Why am I not surprised?" Her hands were clenched at her sides as she turned, walking to the edge of the cliff again. "Have I fallen that low in his eyes?"

"WAAAH, it talks?!", Takken said, still barely consious. "P-p-p-please don't h-hurt me!"
The imp curled up, putting his arms over his head and shaking under her. "Ma-ma-master sent to see if you're okay..." he squeaked, breaking a sweat.

Lily glanced at the imp, a little surprised. "to see if I'm ok?" She blinked, a soft smile rising to her lips, a hint of saddness in it. She crouched down, touching the imps head gently. "No need to be afraid of me, I'm not planning on harming you." She murmured, guessing that he would report to Kenshin or that Kenshin was already seeing through the imp. "Oh sure, everythings just peachy..." She whispered sarcasticly, sighing. Elani laughed, "Yes I talk. And thats not all I can do."

Takken shook even more as the pheonix talked to him. "D-d-don't eat me!" Takken was so tightly curled up he looked like a bowling ball.
"I'll do anything, please spare my life!" he whined.

Elani laughed, flying up, light eminating from her body as she switched forms. Now she was in her elven form, wearing a kimono that appeared the same design as Lily's, except Elani's was a soft creamy orange background with red flowers instead of a black background and white flowers. The two of them were practically identical. "Why would I eat you? No offense, but you don't look tasty in the least." She chuckled, a little more spunky than Lily was.
Lily looked at the exchange, standing next to her twin with a light smirk. "I agree with Elani on that point. Do you know if, or when, Kenshin will probably come to us? I know that he will want answers." She asked, her voice quiet and tentative.

The imp looked up in amazment as the phoenix morphed into an almost identical twin. "Huh?", Takken squawked, tripping back. "She's just like the other!", Takken rubbed his eyes just to make sure. "M-master is speaking with his mistress! I don't know if he's coming or not."
Takken was slowly inching away from them, trying not to be to suspicious. His fingers searched blindly for his magical staff, feeling the ground behind him.

X Arwen X Lord_Rurouni_Kenshin4510 (In the not too distant forest) X Arwen X Arwen stepped back as he moved closer, still not fully trusting him. "Kenshin, I…" Arwen stammered, twisting her wedding ring around her finger nervously. "I want to forgive you…but I couldn’t take being hurt again...it would kill me.” She kneeled down in front of him, tears still trickling down her cheeks. "When we married you made a promise...we both made a promise to eachother that no one would come between us...Does that still stand?" Arwen said trying to hold back her tears.
"Now please, dry your tears, do not cry Lady Arwen. You don't want anybody to see you like this." He said, with disregard to his own. He wiped the tears from her cheeks and pressed his lips upon her forehead. "You have my word," Kenshin repeated,"but the lady stays. I made her a promise. She must be protected, for she has suffered the wrath of Hell, and I fear the worst, that it may be my demon father's doing. She needs shelter, and can only afford my help and Chi's, the help of someone who knows how to vanquish that sort of evil. As difficult as it is a time right now to say this, you'll have to trust me." Kenshin had a look of true concern and love behind that stone face but nonetheless, he did his best to act strong. Arwen closed her eyes and nodded, standing up slowly. She opened her eyes and looked deeply into his. There was a great height difference between the two, Kenshin towering over her at 6'2", and Arwen standing at only 5'6". She stood on her toes and placed her soft hands on his cheeks, wiping away his own tears.

Lily didn't seem to show any reaction to his reply, but she had tensed, deaf to Elani's laugh at the imps reaction.
"You got it! But do you know why? Or would Kenshin for that matter?" Smirking, she chuckled, her hands on her hips.
"Elani." Lily murmured calmly, holding out her hand for her to take. Feeling her smooth hand, Lily started to walk away with her twin, pausing to look back at the small imp. "I see...Well, tell him when he does come out that I'll come when he calls. I need some time to think alone...somewhere other than here..." She spoke, her voice soft and rather hollow.
Elani followed Lily without a word, sobering up in concern for her. When Lily looked her in the eye though, she knew that she wanted to switch places. Nodding, she watched as a difused light like twilight shroud Lily, beating wings heard. Looking to her shoulder, Elani stroked the raven, but it was different. On the forehead there was a marking there written in an ancient language few spoke, and that was throughout all races. The feathers on its wings went from black, then grey, and the tips were white. Elani seemed to give a sort of salute before she vanished in a ball of light,

Elani smiled and stroked the ravens feathers, tilting her head a little, irridescent wings keeping her in the air over the maze. Do you want to return Lily? Been enough of a break for you? Maybe...Yes, I think so. Alright twin.Lily straightened, arching her back to stretch, her black wings and dark clothing replacing the complete opposite she had been a moment before. Taking a deep breath in, one could see how she appeared like her bird form, an oddball raven. Kissing the forehead of the phoenix on her arm, she let Elani fly free, sighing as she watched her. Holding the note in her hand tightly, she wondered where the little imp had gone to. She needed them to give Kenshin something. The note read: Lord Kenshin,
I know I have much to explain about who and what I am and etc. If you don't trust me for keeping this hidden....I understand and I'm sorry. So, meet me in the gardens on the hillside if you want to question me.
