Leaving a pile of smoky bodies riddled with sharp ice-daggers behind her, Lyra passed through a near wall of demons, casting them from her with a wicked gust of wind.
She saw Zero, nodded, and kept fighting. The battle was not yet too much for her.

Zero slashed through three more demons, before he saw three gigantic pit fiends."Lyra!Simakk!"He yells as he points to the three pit fiends before pointing to the three of them.He extends his scimitar, and holds his katana at an angle from his body with the edge pointing behind him.

Simakk charged one of the pit fiends, and as it readied its blade to strike, he slipped to the side, passing the blade ahrmlessly and leaving it confused. Simakk then continued to the next demon, and he leapt upon its shoulders, slamming his sword into its throat. It roared but did not fall, and it reached back and threw him to the ground. He rolled into a semi-kneeling position, blade ready. Tasting blood in his mouth, he grinned.
Kamiss leapt forward so fast it looked as if he were flying, his blade ripping open more demons than he bothered to count. He sidestepped a grunt and spun, his sword catching the demon's spine, and he kicked out at a charging Quicksilver--he had christened the fastest demons so--snapping its neck. He threw his sword out, removing heads from torsos and cutting other appendages, and the blade continued under the push of his mind much farther than it could have gone had Kamiss used strength alone. Weaponless, demons started to crowd around him. He smiled sadistically and cracked his knuckles. Kamiss' fists burst into hellfire.

Aryl watched from the corners of her slitted eyes as Kamiss burst into flame. She had sliced open a few more demons before dashing off a little ways to rest. She reall, really wasn't built for continuous fighting. She hid now behind a splintered cellar door, watching her journeymates fight. She would rejoin them soon, but she had needed a moment, just a moment, to reqroup.

Kamiss' fists connected with a demonic head, which crumpled under the weight of his punch before bursting into flames. He saw Aryl retreat out of the corner of his eye, and leapt towards the position, determined not to let any get near his resting ally. "Endgame," he whispered, "Endgame." The demons were thin and few, and as Kamiss' sword flew to his hand he knew they would all die.

Sorry. I'm just out of fighting ideas, and getting a little bored. I don't mean to sound rude. gonk
And I mean completely out of ideas...I have no idea what to post...dang. I'll edit this post later, when I think of something.)

(Happens to everbody.)Zero jumped at the peak of his run.He flew through the air, swiveling his swords so that they formeda type of chacrum across his body.As soon as he did, he hit the middle Pit fiend with the force of a meteorite, sending them both flying across the battlefield.Zero stands up and notices that the hand that was holding the katana was hanging useless at his side, his katana quivering in the ground next to him.He picks it up with his good hand and puts it back in the sheathe before charging at the pit fiend.

Kamiss spun on his right foot, shifting to the left, and brought his sword behind him to pierce the demon he outmaneuvered. He leapt forward in a frontflip, bring his blade down on its head, and ripped another's throat out with a flick of his wrist. He grabbed a demon by the neck, crushing its airway, then set it on fire and threw it at the approaching horde. He dashed forward roaring, bringing his greatsword around at the last second to scatter the ranks, some moving, others dying. His eyes glowed and he held his hands out, palms facing the enemy, and waited for the power to come.

And come it did, sweeping across the ranks of the enemy like a tsunami, leaving nothing it its path. He grunted, closing his eyes, and directed it slightly away from his allies, making sure they were not hit but those around them were. He grunted again and the wave quicked and rose in power, throwing everything it did not kill to the ground, broken. Kamiss opened his eyes, swaying. Everything looked blurry, but he could not see a single standing demon. Kamiss closed his eyes again and collapsed.

Aryl knelt beside Kamiss, plling a cool cloth from her pack. (No, I have no idea how that works, but it just does.) She laid it across his forehead, and gazed out upon the seemingly hilly landscape around them. Carcass piled upon carcass piled upon carcass littered the ground, and it felt good.

(I have no problem with hilly, but remember this is futuristic post-apocalyptic. Dang now I sound all bossy)
The others gathered around Kamiss, some coming quickly, others limping from injuries, but none seemed to worried about the man. Krae knelt down next to Aryl. "He'll be fine." He said, then stood again and went to check on the humans Reilarm was leading over.

(You'll note "seemingly hilly" was followed by "carcass piled upon carcass" - carcasses make it seem hilly. Silly. ^_^)
Aryl nodded, and closed her weary eyes, streched out beside Kamiss. For a moment, perhaps, she had time to rest before they must move on. She was soon in a dreamless, quiet, but restful sleep.

(OHHHH 'seemingly'. Ok, I guess i have selective reading question confused )
Krae lifted his axe and swung it into the ground, once, twice, leaving huge indentations. he didn't stop, didnt tire, and in two hours he had dug a mass grave large enough for all the demons. Kamiss was awake by then, and he lifted the bodies, some physically, others mentally, and dumped them into the grave. He and Krae then slowly pushed the dirt back onto the bodies, then slumped against the wall of a bomb-shelled building.
