Aurtrox chuckled when Tessa shoved a grenade down a Grimm's throat. That was a unique move that he very much enjoyed. The brutality of her kind was a beautiful sight in its own way. She was close to being battle ready. This simulation already proved as much. The issue was that she fought too instinctively. She didn't seem to consider the effects of her moves based on the surrounding. That said, her general technique was very effective. Obviously her tribe was used to fighting in the open and not trained in urban warfare.

His attention turned back to Ezekial and his comment on the Tribe's blasphemous endeavors.
"Indeed. Indeed. The Tribe murdered my little sister and they will pay for it dearly, but the grimm, unfortunately, come first."He paused for a long moment. His eyes distant as if he was stuck in a long lost memory. The pain of the past always hit him hard, but his heart only grew colder with each recollection. Just as the memory of his mother was sealed in the callous echo of his dreams. "I just want a world where children don't have to watch their mother's torn to shreds by nature..." His voice suddenly very hollow.

He looked down at the floor and shook off the thoughts. Turning his focus to Ezekial and his insatiable, and admirable curiosity. "This chamber was a gift from Atlas. Completed a mere six months before we lost connection. I don't quite understand the technology myself, but one of the scientists did say that the chamber's walls produced pulses of some psychological agent that would give the subject the sensations necessary to believe everything was real. There are still some glitches every now and then, but overall this is a very effective machine for all kinds of uses. Unfortunately ti can only hold its affect for a matter of a few minutes before one's mind becomes numb to its power. Making it only good for a short time. Hence the short time on each of these tests. This is also why this machine is rather ill suited for torture. Which is what it was originally intended for according to the same scientist I spoke. I think its best used for what we are doing now though. Testing. Training."Aurtrox would smile at his question about the boy Narx. "Your suspicions are correct that that is not actually the boy... A sly smirk stole the left side of his face. "At least... not yet..." Aurtrox would click a few buttons and press a level. The chamber seemed to respond immediately to this action. The grimm flashed into dust as Tess destroyed them, but unfortunately her laser canon blast was much larger than she likely thought it would be. It's blast would ricochet off the metal wall and blast Narx in the arm just above the elbow. His arm expanded for a moment before exploding in a pile of blood and liquefied guts which flickered in the lights. The room suddenly returned back to its metallic blank square shape as it had upon first entry. The grimm were gone, and Narx himself was a mere dummy on the floor to the relief of all. Aurtrox spoke over the intercom. "Both weapons were not only unknown in their capabilities, but very dangerous given the surrounding area. While you managed to successfully use the grenades you should not have used the canon of unknown power at all in a metal hallway. That is strike one. Please proceed onto the next challenge with more thoughtfulness Tess. I believe in you..."The lights would go dark after that. A fog was flooded into the room as it would take on its next shape. Aurtrox looked over to Ezekial. "Let's see what you got... Feel free to use any bait you desire." He would motion for the man to take the controls. Tess would be given two more challenges. If she passed both then she would be allowed to continue with no additional training. That, or Aurtrox would take her out for a final training session that would be much more severe than this one. There was a brief moment where Tessa stood completely silent after feeling the warm splash of blood against her face and looking down to see the bloody mess that was once her former captain's arm. The air was soon filled with a horrified and heartbroken shriek as Tessa covered her head with her hands before breaking into a babbling sobbing mess, shaking the seemingly critically injured boy as she profusely apologized and begged him to wake up. Only when the simulation broke down did Tessa make anyhting approaching a recovery as she looked around before glancing down at the dummy on the floor. Rather than relief, the anguish on her face was replaced with a furious scowl before she grunted and struck a nearby wall with her armored fist, leaving a small but noticeable dent.
"I'm going to punch you when I'm done here" she called out "I hope you know that"

"I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...

Nyx had come to the tower for one reason, the headmaster. Or to say the headmaster's office and his files. If he was there then she could get her answer. With her were a few of her devoted students. She had been busy recruiting students into her "gang". She had been getting impatient with the headmaster though. She had also achieved enough in the school to honestly leave it in a subordinates hands. She had bigger plans, the school had really only been a staging ground. She walked up to the door and found it locked. She shook her head and motioned for one of her followers to unlock it. The guy nodded and picked the lock. She had found him in this school, a kid who grew up poor and had gotten good at stealing and picking locks. He earned enough for himself to attend Beacon and it hadn't been hard to convince him to support her. The door lock clicked open after a minute. "You are still the best I've seen with a lock." Nyx said as she opened the door and walked in. She looked around and smiled, it was time to get to work. She went and sat down in the headmaster's own chair. "Bring me his files, they are over there. I'm going to sort through these. There is going to be three piles, make sure you listen when I give you a file. Desirable, Needs Work, and Undesirable."

Nyx started getting handed files and sorting through them. They were the files of every student at Beacon. "Needs work, desirable, needs work, undesirable." The same three words would ring out every so often as she handed the file over to the students. Three different piles were slowly being stacked up. This was not the only thing she did though, other than looking and gaining valuable info she was also looking for potential spies. Generally, she wouldn't really know but there was always some signs usually. It wasn't perfect but it was better to flag the suspicious files and have it looked into. Every so often a file would be put into one separate pile by Nyx herself. This was going to take a while but she had nothing to fear. The headmaster and her at least still had an understanding. It was everyone else that would get in the way, hence she had people with her. One could never plan to much if she had to knock a few skulls to continue she would.

Nyx looked up from the files for a second. "Radio Angie and let her know that she should make her way here. Soon she'll be running my operations here, assuming the headmaster remains stubborn." The one girl who was with them nodded and radioed her comrade. Nyx motioned for one of them to bring her something to drink. "See if he has something strong, if not then Coffees fine." With that she continued her work while the others searched the office for drinks. The biggest problem here was the headmaster's lack of internal security. It was clear his school was running rampant with spies. It had to stop and this school needed to shift to a more military approach. You'd have a hard time making soldiers at this rate. If he wanted an army he was going a piss poor job at it. "The security is terrible, internal and external. Spies run rampant, Beacons unsafe and has been infiltrated by outside forces more than once. Aurtrox will hopefully agree with my plan, my faction has to gain some power. Making them some type of disciplinary students or whatever you want to call them. Hall monitors for all I care, long as they can patrol and do what needs to be done."

                                                                                Post Log: 24

XXXGlassy orbs would shift as the shutters adjusted. The sensation of loss wasn't one that he empathized with but understood. Words of the murdered sister hung in the air for a moment, his gaze clearly distant. It was a recent loss, for certain. Reminiscing such a recent tragedy would be painful without a doubt. It, however, was a recent tragedy he was well aware of. The violent approach of anti-faunus activitism that was unleashed on the academy. Ezekiel wasn't one to shy away from making a statement, but it was an act poorly done in his own opinion. It made a declaration of who the Tribe were, but focused hatred from what remained of this world onto them. "... I do apologize for your loss, Aurtrox. Such a series of events... It truly is heart breaking." Now, where was Ezekiel's position in this to talk? Acting with the Tribe currently, while previously pushing the faunus and enslavement market. Most of all, his involvement in the collapse of the surrounding nations. He was a man that was very well responsible for ripping apart the lives for hundreds of thousands. "That is a world worth striving for. One that I'm certain we will be able to achieve. If not in our lifetime, then the next. So long as we continue to layout the footwork. That is the first step in the progression for a better world." Ezekiel was here for the students, first and foremost. That made it all the more intriguing to get a better insight into what actually went on within the mind of Aurtrox.

"As expected. I'd know Atlesian tech anywhere. The fundamentals are sensible. One can only be exposed to so much psychological interference before they build up an immunity. Thus is why hyperreality is often short-lived." It was a concept that both went into technology and psychology. Subjects that he was very well familiar with. Leaning closer to one of the screens, he'd watch as the 'boy' suffered a horrid accident after Tessa's own reckless attack. Standing up straight, he'd turn his attention to the Headmaster once more. "Once upon a time, I worked in close association with a striving robotics company. I've also played a part or two in the design and construction of structures similar to your Amity Collesium. All of that is in the past now, unfortunately. ... That, however, is a segway. If allowed, I could attempt to put my knowledge to the test sometime. I may be able to find a way to optimize the psychological stimulation this chamber provides. Or at the very least, find additional tricks to use." An offer that would be left in Aurtrox field. Meanwhile, the first session came to a close. The room went dark as a fog rolled in. Clearly, this fog was related to whatever psychological stimulate this chamber provided. "Of course, Aurtrox. Where you tested her reflexes, I'll test another important factor..." Shifting his position, Ezekiel would move to take a seat in front of the controls. A series of taps on the screen would be followed with a smile.

It was then that intercom would static. "Hello Ms. Ailbhe. In preparation for your next test, I wanted to give you a little information. There will be two parts. Part one, you will be allocated 16 seconds. Once you reach the checkpoint, you will receive another 8 seconds to finish the task at hand. Remember that time is of the essence, use it well." With the tap of a key, the room would fill with an intense and fiery glow. Fog dissolved into an eruption of flames. Once metal walls were now crackling planks of wood and damaged stone. The temperature was rising rapidly as flames roared to life. In front of Tessa was a series of doorways, one that would lead her on a clear path. Clear being a loose term, as flames would flare and roar in order to obscure those doors. In each room overhead was a series of sprinklers, all of which clearly was not working. "Your teammates, among others, are within this burning structure with you. You have been entrusted to stop the fire. This is the final stretch. Face the heat of danger. Reach the goal and turn on the water, or all of you will perish. That is your mission. Begin." As if on cue with his words, one board would crack. Exploding into an array of embers, it would feel all too real. Landing against flesh, Tessa would certainly feel the spike of heat as it singed her skin. The task at hand was relatively simple. If she could manage to keep up with the time limit and pass through the series of doors, she would reach a room with a control panel. The water valve had been disengaged and merely needs to be activated. Standing in her way however is the definition of a hellish landscape with intense blazes encumbering the rooms. Smoke would surely fill her lungs if she wasn't careful, and carrying her explosives any further could prove to be hazardous. If one of slower nature wasn't careful, it could take anywhere between 10 and 16 seconds just to reach the end. Assuming Tessa followed the path accordingly, it was about halfway to the destination that she heard a call. A cry. Someone yelling for help over the roaring flames. It was a male voice that may have seemed awfully familiar, though difficult to tell with the sound of a roaring inferno. This voice was coming from behind a collapsed doorway. A route that was clearly marked off, but someone of her stature may be able to get through. 'Now I wonder... What effects will the last test have on her?'

So this time it was the other adult casting the environment, was it going to be more Grimm? White fang?.....The Tribe? No. . just fire. Tessa looked around as the simulation took shape and she began to feel the intense heat from the fire, going so far as to have a smoldering plank fall and strike her shoulder , earning a wince and hiss from her, but not much else. She had forged her own weapons in a proper smithy was was no stranger to being this close to heat.
As the announcement rattled off the conditions for success her mind rattled of the potential risks, mostly regarding her weapons. Her rounds were essentially grenades, that much was true, but they were impact shells meaning the impact trigger would need to be struck for the firing pin to hit the percussion cap to trigger an explosion. At most the powder could go off and send the shell flying prematurely, but that would require temperatures around 600 degrees or more.
Odds were, if she worked quickly she would be fine.

The rhino faunus lumbered forward, breaking into a steady paced run, bringing her arm up to guard her face as she turned to the side and lowered her shoulder to strike down the first door with her weight. The door, naturally, exploded in a shower of splinters and glowing embers as she stumbled slightly and kept charging, crushing doors down with her weight and hopping over obstacles while dodging 'puddles' of fire and falling debris.
Upon hearing a voice at a halfway point Tessa paused to get a bearing on where it was coming from before hopping into a jumping side kick propelled forward by the force of her shell detonating in the barrel. This door, though obstructed, gave way as well though the rhino didn't stop to see who was behind the door, too much time would be taken to get one person out.
Rather she scrambled back to her feet and made the final sprint down the hall, coughing and blinking tears away from her stinging eyes until she reached the water main and, grabbing with both hands, grunted as she turned the valve with her weight, not stopping until she heard the unmistakable hiss of water through a fire suppression stem

Aurtrox nodded his head at Ezekial's proposal to optimize the stimulation chamber a bit more. He was obviously a man of many talents and he wouldn't mind seeing what else he could do. "I have attempted to toy around with this chamber a bit myself, but I quite honestly lack the knowledge and skills to do much. I think I managed to add on one fourth of a second to the time with all of my tinkering combined. I haven't touched it since though."He simply didn't have the technical ability, and he only managed to cause the small increase by tweaking the quality of the chamber's panels to be free of microscopic cavitation points. Exekial's attention turned to the task at hand once again. He would test something a little less based on relfexes. "I like the sound of that." His voice excited as he placed both arms on the window sill that overlooked the chamber.

He looked down at the chamber below as he watched Tessa run through the first segment of the second test. "Interesting style she has..."Aurtrox would say as he made her way down to the end of the hall. "She ignored the singular cry, but is going for the main valve it seems." Depending on how the second piece of the test played out he would determine whether he thought she passed or failed, but he didn't quite know Exekial's aim, so it was simply too soon to make any assumptions. "What will you do now?" He asked Ezekial. User Image

Garret had a strange dream that night, actually he had been having that particular dream for a few night now. Each night more and more of it was revealed, but it was so strange to think of it. At first it was just a general area, to which from the look of it seemed to be the outskirts but he could not tell where as it was very hard to distinguish. Then a figure began to slowly take shape and appear there as well. The first detail he had noticed about the figure was that they had wings, then a lance, then white hair. Thinking on it, he had never before seen a person with such features in his life so he wondered where that figure had come form or why it had been prompted into existence in his mind. He was clearly a warrior of some kind and the lance made Garret think it was the thought of some unknown challenger he should face one day, or the very idea of someone who would pose a significant challenge to him. However, this new dream had added a new detail he was particularly familiar with. It was the crest he had heard about from Dove, the Lioncourt crest. It was then that the pieces of the dream slowly began to fill in his mind. Of the man from her family that had apparently once gone to challenge the Reveley, but the results of which had been unknown. Why the memory of him was coming to him in the form of this recurring dream now was strange. The only place he thought he could learn of him was back in Vacuo, not in vale. But the dream seemed to be pointing to something related to him in the outskirts, in some part he had not yet been to. Why it appeared in his mind so strongly now was strange, as if something was guiding him there. What it could be, he was not sure. The world was a strange place with many possibilities. And this was a curiosity he desired to have solved. He had a location, the issue would just be to find it. While the thought of asking Dove or Lafalle came to mind, he desired to do this on his own. His instincts were telling him this was for a fight, and so he naturally wanted to pursue it alone. 'Today is a fitting day for this.' He silently thought to himself. He had been intent on heading out to hunt Grimm anyway, so while doing so he could keep an eye out for this area that seemed to call to him.

Rising from his bed, Garret would move to go about his daily routine with his current goals in mind; morning exercises, bathing and dressing for the day. It was something he usually kept to as a schedule, order being a good way to promote and ingrain it to become a habit and routine. He equipped himself in his usual attire and gear, spears on his back and satchel on his side. He added a few red roses to his pack and his usual single white rose as well, on the off chance he was defeated. He was expecting combat from the grimm at least, so for him it made sense to take it. He also brought some rations and a water canteen in order to be prepared to camp and have a meal if he needed to while out there. He would eat some breakfast before he departed, but he did not know when he would return. Seeing the lack of missions being taken up by students as well, he had claimed one for himself that was simply to kill Grimm as had been his intention in the first place. It was part of his unofficial job description regardless, and he had been given clearance that he could do so. If the students weren't going to step up to the basics of keeping Grimm in check, he would do it himself as he always tried to. Double checking that he had all he needed, he would set out from his room to go to the courtyard after the cafeteria, if only to leave a notice of where he would be so others would be aware in the least. He made sure to lock the door behind him to discourage unwanted entry, though if it were attempted there would not be much to be taken. He was a bit spartan in his style of room, as he saw no need for too much embellishment to his room here. It was more a temporary one than anything else; just for when he was here rather than the city itself.

XXXThough Ezekiel's attention was focused on the complexity of the machine, he was more than capable of listening to Aurtrox while issuing his commands. Perhaps it was due to capability of his processor, but multitasking completely different subjects came naturally to the man. While fingers would diligently tap away at the keys in order to spectate the 'test', one of his eyes would look towards Aurtrox with a fain smirk. "For supposedly lacking the technological capability, that's an impressive feat. Atlas technology retains a trait of quality assurance that's difficult to crack. Only by managing to get pass that can one truly begin to further optimize. I've known my fair share of Atlesian technicians that would much rather rig a machine to fail before someone can take their work for their own. They're very prideful in their work, after all." He would add, tapping a key that caused several planks of wood to fall in a fiery maelstrom. As the student continued to pass through each room those same beams would collapse behind her, making backtracking near impossible. "I'm looking forward to what we may accomplish together, Aurtrox.I believe we can achieve great things."

If Aurtrox had watched Ezekiel in the next few moments as Tessa ignored the cry for help, he'd notice the smirk tug his lips further. That was the clutch point, though he never hinted at it. While she destroyed the obstructed door, she didn't remain. The impact caused the room to rattle and with another tap, the room would begin to collapse behind her. Thus making it even more difficult for the trapped individual to escape. In fact, the cry for help became further muffled. If Tessa was to hear it again, the familiar voice would be that of Narx himself. Proceeding forward. Despite all the force she managed to muster, the valve would not give. The metal seemed to creak under the strain but would hold strong against the force. It was locked. Upon further investigation of the valve, one could see it was more advanced than a simple valve. There was a small command console that was active and flashing. Someone had triggered the failsafe, locking the mechanism into place to prevent flooding. As a result, it stopped all water flow in the facility. Without the proper combination or authorization, the lever would not give way. That's when the intercom would go live once more. "Prior actions have initiated segment two of this trial. You have been rewarded 8 additional seconds, leaving your current count at 14. Consider your circumstances and actions thus far, then act accordingly. You will receive no further feedback." With static, the intercom would shut off once more.

With that, Ezekiel would take his hands off the keyboard and stand up. "I will no longer interfere. Instead, I'm curious to see if this one has shot herself in the foot or not." He said softly, his shutter hues shifting to focus on one of the screens. It was in the last room that he had collapsed near the halfway point. Under the debris trying so desperately to shift and move from the wreckage was Narx, but he was pinned in place. Oddly, it seemed like he had something hanging from around his neck. Unfortunately for Tessa, the boy was harder to reach than ever before.

==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====ßℓąιя ☠ ωιgнт==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====

A long exhale left through a small crack on female lips. The source, a young woman in her late teens and early 20’s sat out in a small lobby at the bottom of Beacon Tower. Her reason there was for being there was professional, a job interview as Librarian at the school. She had seen the ad a few days before returning to the city. In all honesty she had never been interviewed for a job before, not in her ‘usual’ line of work. The only thing her “bosses” care for was if she could get the job done. She also didn’t need the money, she had plenty of her from her “shady” work, dirty money, money she was cautious in spending or else it would raise alarms. Why was she here at Beacon then attempting for such a simple and potentially boring job? There were various reasons, though on of the main ones was to remain close to her partner in crime Hades, or as he was known by in the villain world, Bob. The other reasons was because she was curious what life at Beacon was like, having attempted to enter as a teen and failing on purpose, she wondered what her life would have been like had she come, first of all she probably wouldn’t have met Hades…. For a moment she smirked to herself as she playfully debated whether that would have been a good thing. However that was just a flicker, a moment of “sass”. She didn’t regret her life, at least not that decision. There was plenty of excitement, of all sorts… it was also a great way for her to release the violent tendencies she had always had throughout her life.

Blair fidgeted a little in her seat pulling her pencil skirt down just a little. It was snugger than she was used to regarding skirts, however, if she wanted to work as a Librarian she was going to have to look the part was she not? There was only one detail she put effort in hiding, her black rabbits tail. It was hidden fabric that made up a nice stylish belt, two birds with one stone: disguise and looking fine.

”Miss Wight,” a voice called out from behind the desk. Blair looked up a little startled from being drawn out of her own thoughts.

”Y-yes?” She was rarely this nervous, or at least ever showed it, though in this case she felt that letting her emotions slide more oftn may work in her favor. She was trying not to come off as some hard criminal after all.

”You may enter the elevator. The Headmaster is ready to see you.”

”Thank you.” She gave a slight nod of respect and entered the elevator which she figured was taking her to the top, the place known as the Headmaster’s office.

Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ blasted through the headmaster's doorway with a furious kick. The doors swinging wide behind him. His face was red, and he was fuming like a bull that had just got its branding. "What a hot headed, starvelling, bull’s-pizzle, stock-fish fool of a man! The only thing worse than a chihuahua is his yappering scull cave!" Roq roared as the wide double doors collapsed shut on their own accord. If steam could exit a human's ear, it certainly would be coming out of his, and red hot at that.

He turned to the wall just outside the room and kicked it hard. His foot bounced right off its hardened surface. Regret sinking in as the pain surged through him. He wailed, "Aughh!" He hopped on one foot angrily and gave the wall an extra shout for good measure just before he leaned against the opposite side for balance as he inspected the now injured foot. Except, the wall he was leaning against wasn't a wall at all, but the door to the elevator, which promptly opened causing him to fall onto whoever was within it.

Blair tapped her foot a bit impatiently as the elevator went floor after floor. It wasn’t a slow elevator, it was surprisingly fast, however it still took a bit of time considering she had to go to the very top of the tower. Arms crossed losely under her chest she pondered about this decision she was about to make, it was a bit too late to go back now. She was committed to at least showing up to the interview. As the elevator neared the top floor, the headmasters office, she felt it shake and tremor and looked down at her tapping foot wondering if she had accidentally used her semblance for a moment, however the lack of drain on her aura told her otherwise. Was the school under attack or did they just have terrible maintenance?

The blonde woman would soon find out the cause as soon as the moving metal box came to a stop and the doors opened dropping an unknown male on top of her. Caught off guard the only thing she managed to do was make momentary eye contact as his body collided with hers sending them both to elevator floor. Her first instinct was to shove him off her, her palms pressing against his shoulders as she pushed him roughly away, her right hand began to move towards her side as she got up but paused as she recalled she did not have her hammer. She couldn’t bash him. Swearing in her mind she merely continued her motion as naturally as possible standing straight and patting down her skirt.

”A-hem!” she uttered as she coughed getting his attention. It hadn’t occurred to her what he may or may not have touched when landing on her. ”The elevator is free now” Blair mentioned again as she began she side step around him.

Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ fell into the elevator and on top of the woman just exited it with a grandiose fall. In a blink of an eye he was suddenly on the ground, and then being pushed off to the side. Aoof!" Roq shouted as he was pushed. He slowly got up and turned around. Wiping dust from his clothes only to see a blonde lady in glasses, who he stared at dumbfounded for some time. She was pretty, but also pretty rude. Then again, he was the one who made the mistake.

His temper was high still, "Sorry, but no thanks to you either..." He wasn't in the mood to be nice, nor have a civil conversation. He lifted a finger as if to start to tell the lady off when none other then the headmaster, Aurtrox waltzed out of his office in a stately manner. Roq's hatred for the man caused him to back down. He would creep to the side of the elevator and escape as soon as the lady exited.

Aurtrox was sitting in his chair behind his desk after having a most unfortunate meeting with a new student. A troubled student. He liked the kid very much. Well, as far as he liked people at least, but this particular student was dead set on being a loner. This wouldn't fly under his oversight though. He was looking over some files, trying to figure out who he would place Roq with when he heard a commotion outside. "That child better not be causing any trouble in my tower..." He muttered under his breath. Aurtrox stood up and walked with grace to the doors of his office, he heard more of a commotion and decided it would be best for him to interject earlier rather than later with this particular student. He lightly pushed the grand door open and waltz out to find Roq and his next appointment just getting off the floor. "I hope this isn't what it looks like?" He said with a hollow voice. Whether these two were engaging in not-safe-for-work activities, or brawling he didn't like the sight of it one bit. Sunlight dancing off of his pale eyes as he looked between the two. Roq backed off into a corner like a child. Keeping his eyes to the ground and jamming on the elevator buttons to move.

Aurtrox didn't care to address the matter any further. It wasn't likely what it looked like, and he would verify such with the video footage later. He motioned with his hand for Blair to follow him before swiftly pivoting on one foot and walking back into his office. "Please, take a seat anywhere you like." Aurtrox would say with a bright grimace. "Your file was read not long ago by myself, and I found it pleasing, yet, lacking a few details that I was hoping you could elucidate. He said this as he sat down in his luxurious chair. It had complex designs running along the legs and arms that were inlaid with gold. Everything in his office was pure white, with gold accents. The books on the shelves included. The windows were pure glass that ran along 200 degrees of the building's cylindrical shape to allow maximal light to flutter in. Other then a desk and chair, his office had a large mirror beside the door, a guest chair, a small table with water and snacks and a single circular staircase that led upwards. Likely to his private chambers. Aurtrox "But before we get into the gritty details, tell me about yourself?" Aurtrox would rest his head on his hand and look at Blair with a friendly gaze this time. His presence was like that of a noble, but more friendly. His eyes gave way to a keen intelligence. He saw right through people, to their very soul. "I hope your trip was pleasant at the very least?" He seemed to be hinting at the elevator incident. User Image

Blair was quick to pretend what happened in the elevator never happened. Without a word she followed after the headmaster secretly pissed at how things were starting. Not a great way for a first impressions, especially when she knew she was going to have to make one hell of a good one. Why was she doing this again? Oh right, to help keep an eye on Hades? Actually that was a lie, after all she had applied before learning Hades was even at Beacon as some security guard. She was doing this for simple cash and to see what it was all about. Keep an eye on potential opponents. Deep down there was a part of her that wondered how her life would have been like had to not failed the entrance exams on purpose.

Taking a seat directly in front of the headmaster she waited for him to get to business, which did not take long, he was quick to get to the point. Her application lacked information? Blair mentally swore to herself. She was going to have to lie on the spot, not something she wasn't unfamiliar with but she had a feeling he would pick up on lies easier than most. When asked to talk about herself she fell quiet. Her mind pondering what she could say to get him to trust her, to think she was nothing more than Claire and innocent girl wanting to be a Librarian. Surprisingly, she decided she would come out and tell him the truth.

"My trip was find. Had a few hiccups but with grimm nowadays that is sadly more common," she began, her voice calm and normal. "My file... Is partly a lie." There you had it boys and girls, she just admitted she lied in her application. This would either work in her favor or... screw everything up. "My name and family history to be specific. I am not Claire from a loving family in a small village in Mistral. My real name is Blair Wight. And I am from Vale." Her last name would either mean something to him or not. She wouldn't be surprised with either situation. He probably had better things to worry about than some small faunus extremist group that only very rarely made something explode. It would also mean he had quite a bit of reasearch on such a small group to know her "family" were somehow involved.
