Aurora sighed, maybe she would try her spin the pencil thing next time.. Aurora's ankle still hurt a little, but she tried not to let it bother her too much as she walked around this strange forest.

Aurora looked around the forest with her partner by her side, tied together with the magic rope. Aurora wondered how Bridgette and Coralie were doing with this task, she hoped they were both safe and would be able to make it through the forest safely. Aurora then took out her notebook and pencil. She then spun the pencil and headed in the direction it stopped in hoping, this time, they would make some progress. Aurora sighed. "I guess that's not going to work." She wondered if her partner had any ideas.

Tambre gave a gentle smile and wave when she saw it was Bridgette that she was being partnered with. Since the rest of the trip, Tambre had been on her own, like she figured she would be, not making any headway on making friends. Oh well, at least she was out of the house though she was a little worried about the children without her. "Hey. How are you doing?"

By the time the two of them had been wandering around for a while, she was getting a little nervous herself but she wouldn't let it show. There had to be a way to get passed the barrier, others had made it, they would too. "Mostly uneventful." She stated in response to the question about the hike, her eyes still peeled for any way out of the forest. "How was yours?"

Her eyes flickered when she finally noticed the edge of what she thought might be the barrier. A small smile crossed her face and she nudged Brigette softly, "This way, I think I see the opening." She gently led her partner toward it, happy to feel the burden lift when they moved passed.

Neptune decided that, on a list of things that were very uncomfortable, being tied to a stranger he'd never spoken to before was probably in the top 10. It wasn't the most horrible thing he'd ever experienced, but boy.... He was pretty sure it wouldn't matter if this person was the nicest person he'd ever met - he'd still have some vague urge to chew his arm off to get away. ...Maybe that was another thing to talk to Kirket about.

After a while of traveling through the forest again, it seemed like instead of the terrible pressure getting worse - it... lifted? He blinked in confusion, looking around once the sensation was gone -- this.... this wasn't where they'd started. Did they manage to get through? He sniffed the air, picking up on Claire's scent. "U-uh, we should g-g-go join Claire..." He nodded a little, then started tugging his partner towards the spot he figured Claire would be in. At least his nose still worked properly...

Aurora growled annoyed, she felt like she was in some sort of labyrinth. Always ending up at the spot she started. She sighed and considered what to try to as she looked at the same blasted tree, her ankle throbbing noting it's annoyance with all the walking Aurora was putting it through.

Bridgette relaxed when she saw Tambre smiled back at her. Seemed the other woman did remember her and even seemed alight with being paired up with her. She smiled back and nodded her head. She grinned. "I'm doing well I was one of the lucky ones who made it through the hike without any bad things happening. How are you? I'm glad I got paired up with you." She was happy she had been wondering how Tambre was doing and if she was ok and now she knew the answer. And she had wanted to see her maybe friend again.

She felt bad that she had been making them wander around so much but she just couldn't find the end of this barrier. Where was it? She kept looking too as Tambre answered her. "Well that's good. Mine was good. Someone I was traveling with sprained her ankle on the last part of the climb but other than that nothing really happened." She knew there had to be an end to this thing. Other people had found it and so would they. She just needed to be patient and trust she or Tambre would see a way out. She looked over at Tambre when the woman seemed to react to something. She grinned back when Tambre nuzles her and let out a sigh of relief. "You did it!" She followed Tambre's gentle lead and took a deep breath when the pressure finally lifted. She was so happy they had found a way out. She was so happy to feel the burden and pressure lift.

Figures back at the tree again..

Aurora sat down and rewrapped her ankle carefully, as best she could with her partner tied to her. Once that was done Aurora decided to try something basic, following a scent trail, maybe she could catch the scent of the others on the field trip, or a scent different from those surrounding her. She took a deep breath, she couldn't allow herself to give up. She had come this far she wouldn't throw her paws up and say this is it. Aurora thought of an amusing book she had once read, she wished there was a goblin king in this forest, so she could tell them they had no power over her, so she could win the game. Aurora laughed and continued on trying to find her way with her partner. Aurora was so thrilled when she finally found a way through the barrier, she was so happy, she was so imagining herself telling the goblin king in her book he had no power over her. Watching the world fall apart to reveal what was really there.
