“H- here, it’s just my arm…” He said dazedly but shook his head. “…Someone’s really hurt over there. Like…”He waved his hand vaguely... He was staring at the blood where he could see it between people, like it could talk to him. “They have a lot of people but…” He looked anxious. “Autumn… He changed shape… Do… Do we know where Lucas is?”

Leila was all tension as she followed Jeremiah's direction and dashed for the police department table, making a small mess of the display -- "s**t, sorry about that--" as she fumbled down with gritted teeth and trembling hands to find the first aid kit and briefly open it, looking the contents over to triple-check it was worth carrying back over. Gauze, check. Real disinfectant, check (thank God). Medical tape, check. There was even a small set of forceps for splinters and the like. The police department did good. Few words were spared for Jeremiah besides a thank you for the lead, because she couldn't risk stopping to chat or even think for more than absolutely necessary. If she stopped moving, she'd freeze and be useless. "Here. Got the good s**t for you," she said after quickly arriving back to Alois and opening the kit within arm's reach for him. "********, I hope there's enough for everyone." There probably wasn't.

He had at least woken up, that was good. Chris let out a small sigh of relief, glad to get some recognition. It slowly faded at that sound of pain and the next slurred question thrown at him. Something had clearly happened to him, more than just sleeping under a table.
Chris racked his brain for ideas of what he could have, only coming with a concussion and maybe something to his shoulder? He seemed to dislike when that happened. He should probably answer his question though and while it was hard to figure out what he was asking, Chris had a pretty good idea.
"There was a guy he.." How did Chris describe it? He looked like a were, almost, from his hazy recollection. "He injured a bunch of people after freaking out, you were caught in the crossfire. Here, let me help you sit up. I'm Chris, can you tell me who you are?"

Everything happened so ******** fast. Thorne barely saw the cause of all of the terror and action before a blur of violent motion was heading his way. Autumn had already bolted from his shoulders, and Thorne was free to let muscle memory take him where he needed, but the impending rush of adrenaline to fight - to take down whatever that thing was - didn't catch up to its speed, and Thorne was left uninjured in its wake, wide eyed and panting. And then the sound of chaos came. s**t. s**t!"Autumn!" Thorne scoured the crowd for her and bolted after the girl. When he caught sight of her, he bolted for her and touched her shoulder, looking her over for injuries. When he found none, he said, "I'll be right back. I'm going to check on the others. You - do whatever the ******** you did to my ribs on these guys." It was a clumsy sentiment, and weak at best. But Thorne was gone again before she could snipe at him. The crowd in front of him had several recognizable faces and a lot of ******** blood. Thorne stopped next to Leila, looking at her with wild eyes. "Are you alright? Was that - " He asked, and then he caught sight of Aleksy, and everything went deadly still inside of him. s**t - s**t - Thorne took three seconds of panic before he shut it down. They had a ******** crisis on his hands, Aleksy was already swarmed - his boyfriend was there, good, - and it looked like someone who had medical knowledge was running the show. "Is there anything I can help with?" Thorne asked Alois. His voice was calmer than he felt, mirroring the military captain he'd once been. If not, he thought, his body churning, I'm going to hunt that ******** thing down.

Rather than argue, Autumn knew that Thorne was a man on the edge. She gave him a tight-lipped nod, and turned her entire focus back to Zac. Once more, she wrapped her shirt around the offered appendage, and closed her eyes. It was just like the time in her apartment... only a little bigger. Inhale, exhale. She just had to will the pain away, like it had never happened.
Autumn ripped the shirt away to a completely healed arm. She exhaled shakily- just had to remember she had NOT actually been hurt. Her arm was fine. Autumn flexed her hand, and smiled at Zac.
"Okay. Okay. You're good too. We're good." Her smile fell.
"As soon as Thorne is back? We're going to ******** get that son of a b***h and get some answers."

Any looks Leila got for making a mess of the booth were managed by Jeremiah. When necessary, he made something of an excellent enforcer and bodyguard. He spared the woman a small smile when she murmured her thanks. Jeremiah knew why she was on edge, why this would have all of them that had any knowledge uneasy. Wasn't this what they had been trying to avoid? "I'll be back over there in a few minutes," he told her. Mostly because once at the PD booth, Jeremiah was in work mode. Get any and all critically injured stabilized - work with the nurses and the booth they had set up as necessary - and then get everyone out that they could. People were going to panic and it would lead to more injuries than just the ones caused by the man who, for all intents and purposes, had claws where he should have nails. Not even going to try and explain it to the officers at the booth. Orders handed out, he was briefly looking for Sergeant Kuroda but with so much commotion ... They were going to have to hunt it down and worrisome enough ... There were civilians involved (and he did not even mean the people that were not police). He was back with the group a moment later, making sure to check on people as he did so. His hands were back to resting on Algie's shoulders briefly when he arrived back and squeezed.

The water bottle was accepted with quick thanks, and Alois cracked the seal to start pouring the contents over Aleksy’s soon-to-be-corpse. „If you could move your shirt for a moment-„
Before he could dump the bottle, a voice behind him offered better supplies. Half-turning, Alois made a quick scan of the med kit given. The girl who held it, he decided, was better at acting under pressure than he initially anticipated. Small benefits, he supposed. Perhaps Alois himself would be in much of the same panic if he wasn’t decidedly indifferent toward this man whom he met but once.
Well, he wasn’t entirely heartless about it — indifference meant Alois actually intended to help.
„Very useful.“ Alois took the kit in hands. A handful of antiseptic towelettes were pilfered from its confines, and Alois tossed half toward Finn before he tore one open for himself. He rubbed the towelette liberally over hands, and partway up his arms in case he started leaning on one of the wounds by accident in his work. Afterward, he dedicated the remainder to quick wound scrubbing before he started on the actual stitching —
which, fortunately, came with Actual Suture Thread. It looked like kits dedicated to events like these were a little more robust than the drug store variety. He never used suture thread before, however, and was uncertain of its tensile strength. Overall it was a crapshoot, since human skin held nine times the elasticity of animal skin and wasn’t often a subject in his work.
He tore open the sterile needle package and started threading as another person arrived to offer assistance. Alois did not spare him a look; his concentration barred it. „If you could hold him down? Blood loss or not, he’s going to squirm when I start poking him.“ Most people, he assumed, weren’t terribly tolerant of stitches without pain medication.
Well, how do I do this. Not too tight, not too loose, I guess. Square knot should work. The familiarity of it left him proceeding through stitches at a decent clip. Estimations left the sutures evenly dispersed, though perhaps a little too close together. Using scissors from the kit, he cut the ends short on each suture to prevent catching on sleeves or other objects. He had no idea if his sutures were too tight, but it looked like they staunched bloodflow well enough, and he doubted tissue rot would occur before paramedics got the poor b*****d to an actual hospital. Attending to the remainder of the wounds involved a simple repetitive process with unbroken, unhurried concentration. He was, to Aleksy’s benefit, still quite quick about it.

Shun turned towards Jack as the much taller man came by. He apparently had managed to get some photos of the guy? "Yes, I have already called in. Check those images. If you have any clear shots, those will be useful," he told him. A part of him wanted to make sure he wasn't seeing things with the claws. After glancing over the two women, he decided to let Chel handle the one she had called Di, then looked around to try and spot where Mercer was. Once he saw him, he motioned Jack to follow before briskly making his way through the chaotic crowds towards the other Detective, as well as Leila. He took a moment to assess if either of them had been wounded during all of this. It looked like Mercer was unscathed for now. "One hell of a shitstorm this has turned into. Jack here may at least have a photo, at it sounds like backup is arriving. Do you know if anyone saw where that guy went?"

Nasir was pale but he nodded and then let out a huff - not a full laugh - at being frisked. "It's just my arm, I'm fine. It'll be okay until we get out of here, I think ..." Still not quite all with it, the dark haired young man squeezed Wil's hand back. At least he had a shirt back on. His priorities were still a little skewed, his head still a little out of it. "You don't think ..." he whispered back, "I mean, Lily said everything would be okay." Then he was nodding his head because this was ******** up. "Let's get to one of the exits." iloveyouDIE when ur characters want to leave but you're like LOLnope

Connor had to jog to catch up to Jack, narrowly avoiding getting blood that had spattered against the floor on his boots (yes, he was absolutely worried that he might stain them, for some reason) and was perhaps hidden for a moment behind the taller man before he stepped out, giving Chel and her friend a grim look and the officer they stood with a slight nod. "Mr. Lanky arms was hit." He pointed out, "And we should probably do something about that before he runs off to save anybody." Though he actually thought Jack would likely just photograph more of the carnage than be of any real use. Also apparently the guy who Connor assumed was a police officer apparently needed him. "Jesus ******** and at least find something to bandage up with Jackie boy. You're going to bleed all over your shoes." medigxel and now I'm here hello...and goodbye :'D opticpeach woops I totally messed up quoting you and just fixed it I'm sorry ;;

Sergeant Kuroda got a look for calling it a shitstorm, especially considering that he was heading to - and near - someone who was critically injured. Jeremiah was not having it but merely let the look he gave the sergeant express his displeasure. He turned away from Alois doing his work to focus on both Jack and Kuroda. His eyes were hard and flinty. "Already talked to the officers we have at the booth and they should be organizing and getting the injured out." There was not as much panic as there could have been, there really wasn't. It was a small blessing. "No one I've spoken to has laid eyes on him once he disappeared into the crowd." Too much chaos and blood and injuries. His attention flicked to Jack. "If you've got a picture, let's see it?" This was going to be like Pax on instagram all over again. Except it was not Autumn being a princess and far, far worse. “Sorry… sorry, you keep being hurt because of me.” He said almost a whisper. hEven with the injury one, which was amazing, and he wondered at the limits of her power. He felt guilt, because she felt –that pain-. “I… wish I knew why this was happeing.” He said…half reaching towards her and then letting his hand drop like he was afraid he might somehow find more pain to convey to her. “Why does this keep… we’re supposed to be safer on this side…”

Finn nodded, glanced briefly at Leila, and slowly pulled his shirt away from Aleksy's wound. Alois, to his credit, possessed a surgeon's sense of tact along with the nimble fingers of one. But, then again, his job called for a certain level of artistry, so that was to be expected. Setting the shirt aside, he reached down and took hold of Aleksy's hand, giving his fingers a long squeeze. "You're um, really good at that," Finn said to Alois, and felt useless.

"Hellloooooo, ladies~" He was lightheaded from the blow and blinking at the lights. Getting fawned over--small silver lining to the abrupt and pretty weird occurrence.
Dawson winced as something was applied to the wound. "What, uh...happened...someone let a dog go loose or...?"

At the apology for the injury, Autumn slapped Zac- decently hard- across the back of the head. Her good humor was replaced with venom as she glared, a hand falling to her hip as Autumn stepped up right in Zac's personal space.
"Look. I am going to say this as simply as I can," Autumn ground out, tone low and dark. "I love you. You are like, the sun and the moon to me. You are some of the only ******** family I have in this ******** world, and if you think a little cut is gonna make me mad at you..."
She stepped back, pulling her now-bloodied shirt back over her head.
"You're wrong. You're dead ******** wrong. I don't know why this is happening, I don't know what's after our dicks, but we're in this together. You and me. No matter what happens."
...And ********, that had gotten really serious. Autumn pulled her pseudo-brother into a VERY SERIOUS SIBLING NOOGIE, going after his scalp with her knuckles.
"SO NO MORE APOLOGIES! Or I'll be the one busting you up and s**t! Got it?!"
