Alphard

When you got a weird feeling you usually tried to ignore it. But when it was all tingly, you wondered briefly if you're dying then you rationalize out that you're not. Alphard did all these things but eventually realized that it was kind of like a feeling he got when he was Alphard and not just his alter ego.

The night senshi, who was still without a sidekick, theme song, or catch phrase, was compelled to go with the flow- and that was how he ended up on the moon, star eyed, confused, and very awestruck.

It was a surreal moment for him, that left him looking at the glowing mega bomb of power that was Cosmos.

"Oh s**t." He whispered.

"I'm dead."

Esquiline

Esquiline expected the woman to answer her, or the other Venus Knight that she recognized as one of the Hills. Even the familiarity the two shared wasn't a surprise. Everyone knew someone right? This was cemented with the shared hug. Esquiline was just glad she was ok enough to stand.

What she didn't expect was to receive a hug after Palatine after the two broke apart. Her eyes widened in confusion, even as her arms wrapped around the woman instinctively. When the hug ended, Esquiline found her own eyes watering as she noticed the other person was starting to tear up.

"What happened?" Esquiline asked as Palatine inspected her hands. They looked like they'd been stuck in a fire. "Judging by the way everyone looks, it didn't go well." She felt a wave of guilt for not being there. "And when the portal closed...we all got worried."

Super Sailor Denebola - with Celsus, Altais and Corvus

Denebola was exhausted and she had pulled Celsus' head into her lap, carding her hand through his hair in what she hoped was soothing manner. He hadn't shifted or said anything to her and when she saw Corvus stumble over and relief crashed over her in ways it hadn't before. "Corvus," she breathed, reaching across Altais to touch the other woman's arm before letting it fall on the shockwaves senshi's lap.

"I'm tired," she mumbled when he shifted her head into his lap and began playing with her hair.

"They're idiots for dropping their glamour," she muttered under her breath, scratching her nails against Celsus' scalp. "Even worse for all their bickering, this is why nothing gets done, everything is a mess." Maybe Denebola was a little bitter, but they'd had a lot of near death experience and the reckless decisions she'd made were finally catching up to her.

"Altais, if you want to stay and learn that's fine, but - " she sighed tilting her chin up so she could looking at him with those mismatched eyes of hers. "I don't know if I have it in me to stick around much longer. Celsus needs to be tended to and all of us have other injuries I'd rather expend my energy on fixing or patching." Her fingers dug into the fabric of his pants. "If you stay, just - come to my flat when you come back. Okay? Pillow forts and hot chocolate when you get there."

Cosmos was forgiving, but Paris earned no favor from her that night. She trained her attention to the girl and kept her expression calm but there was no telling just what she was thinking. She did not seem pleased, but neither did she seem angry.

Cosmos was quiet and kept those thoughts to herself.

But, at least, she understood exhaustion and the toll it could have; she could be forgiving. There were more important things to focus on.

"I am afraid my information is limited," she confessed, still nodding and smiling to those that brought up starseeds. "Sometimes the Cauldron shares its secrets. It is no secret that there is an untapped power in all of you. Senshi and Knights, different as they are, each harbor immense power. Though, sometimes it takes more than one to unlock it."

She shifted positions, trying to get a bit more comfortable.

She glanced at Kairatos and the Code piece. It seemed lifeless next to him; it did not pulse with light like the one on Olympus. This piece simply seemed like a lit light bulb with a dark shadow passing through it. It seemed like the chaos flowed through it, like blood through the body. It was a part of it.

It bothered Cosmos.

"It gives off quite a bit of power. I would not be surprised if the Code already knows what has been unearthed. I am sure Olympus will call to you soon enough. But that piece," she nodded to it, and then locked eyes with him. "Is in good hands, for now."

While Altais' interest spurned her on, she had to keep a careful pace. Gevaudan had caught her, and she flashed him a smile that betrayed it. "I will recover," she assured, more confident now that the blood seemed to have stopped flowing. She looked only a few steps away from Death's door, but it was still significant improvement.

Her eyes moved to Encke and she gestured for him to move a little closer. Her voice was not as loud as she wanted, but she strained to let it carry.

"Teamwork is the key. In times of old, senshi were far more divided than they were now. Knights, the same. Everyone had something important to protect. When you are the keeper of worlds, or wonders, you are often overwhelmed with your task. But there were some whose camaraderie presented them such power. To unlock it, you will need both familiarity with yourself, and those like you. Senshi, I know, have a special bond that can be uncovered amongst them. Knights are the same. You can bring out the best in each other—but."

There was a clear catch.

"…It takes time and effort to build a bond like the one that is required. But the rewards, I promise, are worth it."

She offered a quick smile to Phact; she did not expect thanks, but did not wish to ignore the kindness.

"Perhaps, next time, it will leave you more prepared to handle the Negaverse."

She seemed to have more that she wanted to say but paused, looking over the starseeds. She seemed distracted by something, gently roaming her hands over one of the piles.

"...Though, before I get into that...May I ask, what do you plan to do with the alien on your planet?"

Earth was under her protection, but it was not hers. Not anymore.

Castor Page Aptera

Aptera had been partially continuing to listen to the conversation at hand. And also in part, she had been aiming to think of an approach to address her wound. She had located several packets of medicated wipes included in the kit, which were now in her hands resting on her lap as she looked toward the exchange of words being had. Pain and concentration were still mixed in her expression but she endeavored to keep thinking and processing as coherently as she could.

She managed to give Goretti a soft smile full of her thankfulness before leaning forward slowly in the not-as-painful seated position she had finally accomplished. "I was injured by a blade at one side of my waist." At the site of the injury she indicated, the back of her dress had been torn by the weapon to reveal a line of blood. "Does the wound seem very deep or hopefully not so deep, Goretti, and about how long is it; are you able to tell from seeing it?"

She did not fully grasp why she found herself more distracted than expected even in her state, but she had a feeling it had to do with the person her mind kept worrying about. Was she imagining that she was not mistaken that Prince Castor was experiencing more danger somewhere?

Kyuseisha no Hikari

Sailor Altair

Altair had practically only whispered just a handful of sentences since she had entered this place. At this point she was starting to consider that she needed a leash to better regulate her voice.

But it was at the point when she heard the question with regards to Caedus' presence on Earth that she thought she may be confident enough to perhaps contribute to the discussions. And so she mustered up the courage while mentally pushing herself so that in using her voice she'd hopefully speak up above the quiet notes she had uttered here so far since her arrival after being saved from the battlegrounds. And try harder to stutter less and less, she added to the pep talk to herself in her mind.

She raised one of her hands up to her shoulder level before her voice entered the conversation Cosmos and everyone part-taking as well were in. As for the delivery of her voice, she managed to speak in far more than a whisper surely. However, while she spoke, her tears joined in and started midway to add here and there a tremble to her voice. "Um, perhaps perhaps the presence of Caedus as one co-existing together with us in boundaries boundaries that as a whole encompass far more than Earth may allow us an opportunity now to interact more deeply with one another? And and I think it actually already has allotted accomplishments for for such. We we all have similarities and differences from each other. Is combating Metallia's grip that is responsible for needless suffering not one of the goals we we all share? Are we not similar to Caedus in this way?" This was when those aforementioned fresh drops of tears began to fall, the first of many to follow as she continued speaking her mind. "There are some who may wish to become allies with Caedus and some who may wish for the absence of Caedus. I I um it has not struck me as a necessity to consider Caedus as someone to shun, exile, or the like; with a presence which can draw attention, yes, but but can an invitation not be extended to stay here or another planet that that is not hostile and that we can opt to access so as to offer to extend help on a regular basis if Caedus is unable to return home at this time? I I am of the mind that in meeting Caedus we we understandably had responses and made decisions according to our concerns. It is understandable as well for caution to be maintained. Can't we serve as accountability partners in seeking balance between not being too trusting and not being too wary? I I believe in respecting each other's free will and considering intervention only when when the the infliction of harm is an issue. Also, civil debates of verbal exchanges are are indeed potentially helpful as well. And and when we encounter similar and new events in the future it it is my optimistic hope that we will all exhibit a continuance in how we keep growing individually and as a whole."

Sailor Encke

After speaking up, Encke mostly kept quiet, curious to observe who might have kept fighting or kept ignoring useful things. He didn't know a lot of these senshi or... knights? and it would give him a frame of reference.

While he hadn't expected anyone to notice him, he caught the thumbs up of a younger senshi who reminded him of a boy scout (Oberon). Offering a sideways smile in turn, Encke lifted a hand to give a playful salute in response, perhaps playing his response just a bit after the look...

As Cosmos silently requested, he then got up and sat himself a bit closer to where she was sitting.

A bond? Well, he was already at a disadvantage here. Still, even if he was likely to find little use in what she was offering, he'd still like to know, and so he made no effort to move. Admittedly, he'd like to know the answer to her question, too. What were they going to do with Caedus?

The long response from another senshi left him hoping they were going to protect him rather than hurt him.

Sailor Subamara, Senshi of Coffee

Somehow, Subamara’s pigtails had survived acid and fire, still bobbing around her shoulders when she nodded. The movement was starting to make her head spin. She stuck close to the Senshi of Portals, and waved to the group, wondering if it would be alright to scan them into her phone.

“Ananke. Right! I’m so glad to meet you properly! I’m Subamara."

A note of worry overtook the enthusiastic tone as she got a closer look at the others, at their makeshift bandages. "How are you guys holding up?"

She really only knew Athene, and Liryn of course. And now Ananke. But she recognised the girl she’d tried to bandage, and really needed to get her name too. And they all needed to be okay.

It was tempting to sink onto the ground with them. Just, if she sat down, she might not make it up again. And she was hardly injured, and they might still need someone to run and fetch a healer or medicine or whatever. She hadn’t been much help in the fight, but she could make herself useful in the aftermath. She wished she could help give energy to the wounded, to Cosmos. Real energy, like she’d funnelled into the crystal for Caedus. Her magic was the wrong kind of energy for this, it wasn’t enough. She didn’t think anyone wanted to be made more aware of their own injuries.

Subamara looked around the courtyard, watching the other groups form, and hoping they were finding their friends safe and at least a little bit well. But the voices carried. It was upsetting, on top of everything else, to hear their allies arguing. Couldn’t they at least wait till everyone stopped bleeding? Each person could only do what they could do, even those as powerful as Cosmos seemed to be.

There were civilians here. It took her time to piece together that some of their number had actually dropped their henshins. She hoped it wasn’t mandatory - it was shallow, but she didn’t want to get blood on her normal clothes. It seemed strange and uncomfortable, seeing them walk around so ordinary under the earth-light. They’d fought with these people, they’d survived with these people – but she didn’t even know their powered names, let alone who they were underneath.

“There should be a census,” she thought out loud, “so we know who made it out and who…” Oh. She couldn’t finish the thought, the words dissolving in a little choked gasp as she pressed her mouth shut. So many people would be missing friends come morning. Thank god she knew where Arian was, even if he was hurt. But she didn't know who else.

“Do you guys want more bandages?” she quickly changed the subject, as if pretending could undo the words, drag them back out of the air. “Or should I go look for a magic healer?”

Tomlin, Guardian Cat

Tomlin listened quietly to the discussion, but the souls still held his attention, their light glancing reflections in his copper eyes.

“Then there’s no hope in this life for any of them?” he asked Cosmos, gaze still following the brighter starseed as it floated with the newly shining ones. His voice was low, not wanting to alarm the young senshi around him, and wistful. Maybe it was seeing so many starseeds, so carelessly abandoned in the dark, that made him want to believe that this one had been different, that this one had a life it clung to. Maybe he’d imagined it. Maybe it had just been more recently added to the pile. A rebirth was something to be happy for, he knew. But it was a life found, not a life saved. He’d been hoping for too much.

He let himself lose it between the other little lights, fixing his thoughts on more pressing matters. Cosmos was speaking of Caedus again.

“What have you got against aliens?” asked the Mauvian, jokingly huffy, turning his head to look at his fellow cats and cat-people nearby. It was a silly reaction to a serious issue. He wasn’t exactly trusting of Caedus, especially after what the chibis and young senshi had just fought through. But he was curious of the other alien and its synthetic world. And its multipurpose crystals.

He was curious, too, about what new tricks Cosmos could teach the senshi. If teamwork was needed, the youngsters were leading the way. And of course, it was his duty to learn enough that he could pass on the information to others who mercifully weren't here tonight.

“Well I have to now!” he told Oberon, craning his neck back to look at him and Chibi Oort with a feline smile. “I can’t let you guys stay up here and learn everything without me. What would you need me for?”

Battered and bleeding they may be, but their willingness, their strength in all this, was inspiring.

Emily

Emily was listening - pain or no pain - and the unpowered senshi was watching cosmos - watching the starseeds, the bright and low key, and then looked towards Cosmos.

Was nobody speaking up in Caedus' defense?....Because she doubted he'd meant ill. Not after their conversation. His kindness. Her mind went to the gift he had given, and the woman nodded to Cosmos.

"Sorry for not speaking up sooner lady." Emily said. Whomever this was commanded respect, yes, but Emily also hurt and didn't rant more fighting. For Caedus? She'd fight to stick up for.

"I for one don't see harm with him staying on Earth until he can recover and go home. He's homesick - I've talked to him. I don't think he intended for so many of us to be killed. And I don't think he expected the giant ******** trying to bail."

She licked her lips, motioning.

"I can vouch for his good intentions. I count him friend. I can't speak for the others here however but I see no harm allowing him to remsin until he can go home as I said."

Emily sighed watching Alsafi and Cordoba, and the others surrounding Cosmos, sighing at the starseeds, before looking around.

Trinity

The hugging helped a little. She felt less like a monster, but not much less. She buried in both Melody and Fluer, and shivered before finally being able to speak in a quiet, anxious voice.

"I didn't mean to kill them." She murmured. "I didn't."

She shook, the scene still flashing in her mind, and she whimpered, still distressed. Still afraid.

"I was trying to protect myself... And Elpis..."

White Trickster Rabbit
Emily for proximity, tho Trinity is still a limpet. A crying limpet.

Stari_maga
Also clinging to Fluer and proximity. Fluer and Mel helped her talk a little at least!

Miss Kitty // Cordoba // Alsafi

Cordoba ignored Emily's words of support, sighing and frowning.

"I've no use for him. But I'm not sure he's wholly innocent." The page said. She remained near Cosmos, trying to support the senshi emotionally.

"He gave us means to fight and let us go off with no intel or full guidance, just revenge, in mind, and that was it."

Cordoba huffed, then nodded towards the starseeds.

"Will the souls be okay?" A far more pressing concern to Cordoba, truly. They'd been piled and hidden and stuffed in dark cramped pockets, plus... Well, Alsafi was trying to hoard still.

"Newbie..."

"This one's not going far!" Alsafi pouted, motioning to the particularly bright starseed she'd collected earlier. Admittedly, she was following it, but she hadn't paid attention until she laid her cache out, and now curiosity drew her out. Cordoba groaned at her flimsy excuse, and crossed her arms.

"Do not hoard the human souls okay."

"The whut?" Alsafi blinked, as Miss Kitty moved towards the group to allow her senshi and her companions to remain in relative safety. The albino gently rubbed Cosmos' legs, making a point not to admire the starseeds overlong less her own hoarding instincts kicked in, and soon the Mauvian sat on Cosmos' feet, looking up.

"I don't speak for the alien, but is there aught you recommend dear?" Miss Kitty asked, softly. This kitten CLEARLY needed her glow too, and she would oblige, the feline-Mauvian settled. "Similarly, is there aught I can do to further assist what you suggest?"

The Space Cauldron
Emily also addressed Cosmos above, same post. Be mothered Cosmos. Be mothered.

Paris Gallo

Paris was relieved to see that Harmonia was awake.

She recognized the confusion, and tried not to do anything to cause Harmonia any alarm. Paris realized too late that Harmonia would not recognize her as Ganymede, though Chris was quick to offer their names and identities.

“It's okay,” Paris said. She brushed at some of Harmonia's hair when Chris lifted the girl up. She hoped it was comforting. “You're okay now. We're on the moon. We're safe here. Cosmos got us out.”

She didn't know if Harmonia knew who Cosmos was. (Paris barely knew Cosmos herself.) If Harmonia didn't, that was something that could be covered later.

She didn't even know what Harmonia remembered about the event, or if she remembered anything at all.

“I promise we'll explain everything. Just hold on to Chris. We're going to move you somewhere a little less crowded so you can rest. You're going to be very tired for a while. Sleep if you need to. Don't force yourself to do anything.”

Paris glanced back up at Chris. “We need to check on Venice and—” she paused. She struggled to remember if she'd ever heard the Squire of Saturn's name. Her thoughts were so jumbled at the moment, it was hard to find anything specific through the mess. Eventually she settled on “his friend,” since she always saw them together.

Slowly, stumbling somewhat in her exhaustion, Paris made her way over to the two knights, watching them as they both powered down. She knelt on the ground beside them and saw that the young man who was the Squire of Saturn (Terry) was now awake.

“It's okay, we're on the moon now,” she repeated the same assurance she'd given Harmonia. “We're safe. I'm Ganymede. My name's Paris. Valhalla's just over there. His name is Chris. We're going to try to move you both toward the back of the crowd. Do you think you can stand? I can help if you need me to.”

She glanced at Seung. He'd not awakened yet. If he didn't any time soon, or if he was too injured to stand even if he did wake up, Chris would likely have to carry him once they set Harmonia down.

Seung,” she quietly called to him, giving him a gentle shake. She didn't want to wake him for long when he needed rest, but she at least wanted to make sure he actually could wake up.

Palatine, Squire of Venus

Palatine was unprepared for Varuna's hug, but she returned it regardless, wrapping her arms around her niece and squeezing her tight. For a moment, before Varuna pulled away to hug the other Venus knight, Palatine lifted her free hand to Varuna's hair and stroked it like she had when Varuna was little.

“You're okay,” she said. “You did great.”

She let her niece pull away, but kept her eyes on her all the while.

When Varuna finally showed Palatine her hands, Palatine tipped her teapot over to let some of the warm team splash along the burns. She used a bit more tea than she had on the Senshi she'd been tending to before, but only because she was dealing with burns now instead of bruising and swelling. By the time she felt she'd poured enough to help, she still had enough left over to use on others whenever the need arose.

Palatine wrapped an arm around Varuna's shoulders once she was done.

“It wasn't as much of a waste as it could have been,” she told Esquiline. “We found a piece of the Code. Apparently some of the others found a stockpile of starseeds. And I've overheard a couple of people say a General Queen was killed, but I wasn't at the castle to see for myself. We didn't hit much resistance until we were on our way back to the portal. Another General Queen was there. Agents and youma were all over the place. One of the large ones came toward the end. A dragon. There was fire everywhere. At one point it burst into flames. Before we left, it landed on the General Queen. I felt her aura flicker right before we were pulled out of there. With any luck, she'll die from her wounds.

“How were things with Caedus?” she asked. She knew a number of others had stayed behind and assumed Esquiline was one of them.

Seung Kim

There was a difference, a big one, between being able to wake up and wanting to. Seung was able to but didn't want to and he could hear his name just there - in the distance. It was a voice he knew but couldn't place at the moment as his mind was foggy and trying to tug him down into sleep. Sleep was something he'd struggled with for years, keeping himself awake when he should sleep, fighting it off when it came for him, and waking when his mind and body didn't want to be awake but logic told him he needed to be. This didn't mean it was easy to free himself from the hold sleep had on him but he could and now did. Slowly dark lashes fluttered and drifted open.

Dark eyes stared up into space...where? Groaning softly the male pushed himself to half sitting, his dark eyes focusing on Paris who was calling him. He knew her voice. "Where?" He asked lifting one hand to gesture vaguely around them, above them. His gaze than moved, his head slowly turning, as he focused on Erebus. "Yeabo." The second time he'd called the other that, he hoped he never found out what he was calling him. "You're ok?" He asked wanting to be sure while his hand moved to lift up his shirt. He'd been cut across the mid section by the General Queen. The blood had mostly stopped but the skin around it was stained a pinkish red hue thanks to the blood he had spilled earlier. Some oozed still, likely due to the change in clothing thus the removal of what it had bonded to. Some ref fibers were stuck to it as well.He was sore and hurting and tired as well.

Erebus ~ Terry

He was fighting off the urge to fall back into dreamland when the blonde woman (Paris) came over. He blinked in surprise when she said they were on the Moon then gave a nod when she introduced herself and Chris. "I'm Erebus-" one looked at himself had him adding on his civilian name. "and Terry. I could try." Last memory he had before now was him stumbling so he might be able to walk. Probably would need help staying straight though. He glanced over when she called out to Seung and was relieved when he sat up.

He gave the other man a pained half smile then pushed himself up to sit, careful to avoid leaning too heavily on his left arm and giving a groan as his ribs protested. "I'll be fine, you okay?" He asked Seung then looked around at their surroundings and the people before looking to Paris. "How did we get here?"

Chailee Sterling

To say that Chailee was highly confused would be an understatement. The last thing she recalled was sitting at home having dinner with her parents and now, all of a sudden, she woke up to find herself on the moon of all places! What happened? How did she end up here?

Chris and Paris’s quick introductions helped calm the fifteen year old. She didn’t recognize either of their names, civilian or powered, but that wasn’t all the odd considering there were many senshi and knights she had yet to meet. Still, why were they here with her? Why was she not powered up if she was on the moon? Who was Cosmos? And what were the safe from?

Paris’s soft gesture did help calm her a bit more. Making her feel just that bit of safety. She wanted to protest she was fine, that she could walk herself but with how tired and sore she felt she wasn’t sure she could back up her protests. So she let Chris lift her up before answering his question. “I am...I don’t know.” She looked at him, now cradled in his arm. “Tired. Sore. Confused. ” Her voice, still sore and raspy she attempted to clear it but it was no use.

She wanted to ask the million of questions racing through her mind, but they were headed in the direction of two others (Seung and Terry) who, needless to say, looked like they’d seen a war. What happened… That question kept racing through her mind as she looked around at the ragged group of people.

Super Sailor Varuna

Varuna held still as Palatine poured the tea over her hands, wincing slightly as the warm liquid fell out over her burnt hands, but the pain from the burns soon ebbed. She was glad that Palatine answered the other knight (Esquiline) for her in regards to what happened in Negaspace, but it wasn’t anything she thought someone who wasn’t there should feel guilty over.

She could see it on the other woman’s face, the worry in her eyes, especially as they stood amongst the survivors of what happened.

Varuna leaned heavily against Palatine when she wrapped her arm around her shoulders, but Varuna reached out to take hold of Esquiline’s hand with both of hers, giving it a gentle squeeze in thanks. Her hands weren’t as burnt and painful with the help of Palatine’s magic, so it didn’t hurt her to use them.

Curious about what the other would say about Caedus, Varuna continued to hold onto the other’s hand, but loosened her grip so she only held the tips of the woman’s fingers against her own. If she wanted to pull her hand away, she could do so, easily, but Varuna hoped she would stay close to them, especially since she was sure Palatine would be called away to help others sooner than later.
