Yes! This was going great! Kneeling, Cheria treated Ariel with potions. She took quite a few hits. At least she won and wasn't knocked out. That wouldn't have been very encouraging to her at all.

"Yes! Way to go, Ariel!" Cheria used another potion. She should visit the Pokémon Center sometime soon for some proper treatment. But, she should be fine for now. As she took a seat on a bench, Cheria received a message from her mother that told her she got her an Aurorus. Aurorus....Ah! That was the evolved form of Amaura wasn't it? Aw! They were so beautiful! Sending a very enthusiastic thank you message to her mother, Cheria went to the PC to make sure Aurorus got there safely. It did. Great! She immediately switched Aurorus out for Driselle. The little Seel was strong enough.

With her new Aurorus, who needed a nice name, Cheria decided to get back to training. Since Aurorus was about as strong as the others, Cheria would still focus on Ariel. Just...because she was a starter. And, some Sonia evolved in Simon's care, that meant Ariel was behind. How...was Sonia? She would send a message to Simon soon.
Adalinda looked...a bit skeptical. It was like she was expecting Skye to show some dark side of her. Was it because Skye hacked in and stole her and Nidoking from some random trainer's PC? Probably. Well, Skye would just have to work on gaining the Dragonite's trust.

It was only after a stranger pointed it out did Apollo realize he'd past the gym, several minutes of backpedaling later and the man had arrived at the restaurant/gym's front doors. He was greeted instantly by the hostess upon his entrance and after a quick assessment led him towards the gym portion of the building instead of seating him-- there was just something about a man who entered an establishment with three pokemon at his side that just screamed 'looking for a battle'. But, he would admit, the smells that came from the kitchen did make him hungry, and remind him he hadn't eaten in a few hours, maybe he'd sit down for a meal after he won.
The three brothers were already waiting by the time Apollo arrived, thanking the hostess for guiding him with both a murmur of appreciation and a wink. The siblings took in the challenger and his pokemon, ready to ask which starter he'd chosen before spotting Sylvia. Without another word Cilan and Cress left the battle field. "Alright!" Chili, the last remaining brother, pumped his hand up in satisfaction. "I'm getting fired up! Challenger, are you ready?" Did he even have a choice? "Yeah, I'm ready." even if he couldn't match the gym leader in enthusiasm he'd make it up in strength. "Let's get started then!" from underneath his apron Chili whipped out a pokeball, enlarging it first before he threw it out.
