Painting the fence!
Date rolling for: 8/21.
I painted: 2.
Percentage of fence painted: 4%.
Back she was at the Peace Garden again to restart where they had left off. To her surprise, Tuggle seemed to have repaired the fence. Whether it was by his own determination or from the help of others was certainly questionable, especially in the short time frame it occurred. Still, she had returned to help, so that's exactly what she did. Shakuntala could doodle, but didn't have the artistic expertise to draw like the professional painters of Sina. She doodled a rather awkward looking horse, the only thing on her mind she knew well enough to imitate semi-perfectly.

After the frustration of the previous day and the destruction of the fence they worked so hard on, when Rennati arrived at the Peace Garden, the last thing she expected was to see a completed fence. With a smile, she grabbed some paint and made her way towards the fence. "Nice job Mr. Tuggle!" She said happily as she made her way towards a slightly familiar face. "Hey Axel. It's nice to see you and know that I don't have to try and hit you." She said humorously as she knelt a little ways away from him and started painting. "Nice...cat? And alien?" She wasn't exactly sure what it was but it was adorable of him to paint actual things on the fence.

Painting the fence! Date rolling for: 08/21 I painted: 1 Percentage of fence painted: 9% Zin had dragged Lenore back out to the fence the next day, and she was as surprised as everyone else to see that the fence had been rebuilt already. Had Terry Tuggle done all that overnight? That was very kind of him! Zin had felt devastated when she'd witnessed all their hard work crumbling to splinters, and had returned with the intention to try again. But it looked like, thanks to Terry Tuggle, they would be able to move on instead. She grabbed a bucket of paint and a paint brush from the pile and made her way toward the fence. An image caught her interest, and she made her way over to Axel to admire his masterpiece up close. "Hey, Axel. Who is that supposed to be?" she asked in curiosity. She'd assumed that they were supposed to paint the fence a uniform color, but she liked Axel's prerogative.

"Hi, Rennati." Axel laughed at her comment about hitting each other. Yeah ... that hadn't gone so well. He was slightly embarrassed that she was admiring his horrible artwork, but he decided to try and be proud of it. "It's supposed to be a princess," Axel said, fully aware that he sounded like a complete and utter twerp. He brightened up when Zin came over to admire his art as well. At least they weren't mocking him. "Just a princess," he repeated. "A random princess, I guess."Could he paint a good princess, or what?

Painting the fence! Date rolling for: 08/21 - Lenore I painted: 2 Percentage of fence painted: 11% Lenore looked over the fence with quiet awe. The fence was repaired, and in better shape than it had ever been in. She gave a quiet wave to Axel and went to work painting the fence a uniform color like most everyone else - not because she figured that was what she was supposed to do, but because it was what she felt like doing.

"Whoa!" Jeong had not expected the fence to be up when he'd visited today. The image of it crumbling was still fresh in his mind from last night. He glanced around, wondering if Alec was here, hoping to get to work and have fun. The small incident at the mess hall last night had reminded him that people made mistakes and didn't deserve to be immediately condemned for it. Jeong would still have issues with holding grudges but they would arise later for he had no issue with the red head now. In fact he was kind of hoping to see him to tease him a little about being careful today!
"Looks like Amalia." Jeong-jae picked up a brush and went to join the small gathering around Axel's picture. It truthfully didn't share many traits with the girl but she was the only one he knew with green hair in his social circle. Chuckling at how it'd turned out so strange, he thought about what kinds of things he'd like to paint on the fence. Slapping on some basic white to start up a canvas to paint over, the twin waited for his brother to arrive so they could discuss how to layout the Ryom empire on the fence mural.
"Pretty incredible he did this overnight, huh? A little scary actually. What else could he do around here?" Jeong laughed as he nodded his head to indicate he was talking about Tuggle. It had been no easy feat to repair the damage from last night. Maybe Tuggle had called out his little elf friends or could control nature itself. He almost wished they had an army of Tuggles to run this place, cleaning the campus every night with inhuman speed and taking care of the general maintenance. It would certainly be an improvement over the Santos clan.

Zin smiled and said hello to the other people gathering around Axel's painting. She saw that Lenore was busy painting the fence, so she decided to take the opportunity to surprise her. "Your princess looks good," she told Axel, "I like her dog. But shouldn't she have a crown?" As she spoke, she started painting right next to Axel's masterpiece, taking the colors she was missing from the paint buckets littered on the ground. When she was finished, she called, "Lenore, look!" She stepped back, quite proud of her work.

Artistic skills was not something Chris was very good at. He was good with note taking but doodling had never been something he made frequent nor habit of. Instead he took up a brush, painting a sectioning. Thankfully he hadn't been given any of the hideous cat gear..he really had no intention nor desire to wear them. Perhaps only to spare himself being rude to the friendly older man.
Especially since he'd fixed Alec's screw up. Sighing the glasses wearing trainee leaned back squinting at his handy work deciding it was good enough for now.

Alec actually showed up with his cat hat still on, and was rather pleased to see all the drawings of the majestic felines. Seriously, this day really couldn't get any better. Not only that but the fence had been restored to its former glory. Grabbing up a paint brush he quickly set to work, drawing a kitty of his own with it looking rather jovial, and several little hearts. Alec might not have had good hand writing, but the animal like representation was fairly spot on.
He noticed how some of his other friends had already drawn on the fence. It actually warned the teens heart, as he sat back and gazed in wonder admiring the fact they were all busting a move to get this painting project under way.

To arrive and find a completely new fence up overnight was shocking. Hwan spent a good five minutes inspecting it as if he couldn't grasp the reality. It had taken them so long to build the last one, how had Tuggle accomplished this? Had the other teachers heard of the tragedy and pitched in? He could certainly see Ervette lending a hand. The Baldy brothers, maybe not. Once he was finished messing around with the boards, he grabbed a bucket of paint from the provided stock and set out to find a good place for his mural.
"Hey! Hey, Alec." A familiar mop of vibrant red came into view and Hwan jogged over, spilling a little whoops, and inspected the other boy's cats and hearts. He was surprised how good an artist Alec was and let out an impressed whistle as he looked it over. Somehow he had really done that? It was settled, he was recruiting his new friend to help work on the twins' special project.
"Do you think you could do dragons?" He squatted down next to Alec to begin painting the fence a basic white. That would serve as their base coat and then they could cover it in the dual dragons of the Ryom Empire!

Alec looked up when Hwan addressed him. A smile crept onto the teens face as he appraised his drawing. He didn't do a lot of art, but when he did it usually was mostly comprised even if he got frustrated by it easily. Yet his distraction proved a welcome input. "Hey Hwan! Uhh...Sure, lets do a base coat and I'll get to work." The summer sun helped the paint dry at least. Alec took up his own brush covering the fence in a circle. Next he moved on with the outline, a pair of twin dragons with their tails intertwined. He'd seen a fantasy book on them as a child...it had been incredibly detailed. He was pretty sure it was illegal, he and Lillian and spent HOURS going over the pages. Alec even made sure each dragon had a different eye color. By the time he was done, it was a fierce looking pair of chinese dragons (not exactly this pose but you get the idea). "How about that?" Alec leaned back, it took him a considerable amount of time, rather painstakingly recreating the image from memory. He had paint on him from Hwan spilling..and his own doing getting the brush on his face at several points...along with the kitty hat he now had whiskers of all things on one side.

Date rolling for: 8/22 I painted: 4 Percentage of fence painted: 25 Inspired by Zinnia's painting of her and Lenore, Axel selected a blank section of fence and set to work painting a glorious mural of his friends. He still had some paint when he was done, so he added a sandwich.
