She tilted her head, but said nothing to indicate that she even fathomed his silent wishes. Still, the way he responded to her innocent question was a bit suspicious. But that went to the back of her mind once he mentioned the pirate post.
"Yeah, we should visit the pirate post! I want to ask Kat if she could get something for me next time." Fyte said merrily, smiling like she always did. In truth, she wanted to actually ask the captain if they could try and find an inhaler for Nemo. Though she knew he hated feeling so weak for it, there was only so much they could do once an asthma attack rolled around. Fyte didn't think of him as weak for his medical condition though; she knew he was strong in other aspects that didn't involve physical activity.
As another gentle breeze brushed past, she couldn't help but shiver. Only now did the fact her clothes clung to her like a second skin bothered her. A blush dusted her cheeks, since it was quite obvious just how curvy her body had grown to become. She covered her chest with her arms, hoping Nemo hadn't noticed.…Let the two of us put our small hands together, and let's search for stardust and a bright shining eternity 風

Kat laughed at his counter teasing. She was not so overpowered as to be swept up in his kisses, but she enjoyed them all the same.
"You'll just have to wait and see sailor," she chuckled when he pulled away. She had actually been serious about going and overseeing the shipment they were about to trade off, but letting him think that they were going to do other activities wasn't entirely a bad thing.
When he suggested they go, she gave pause to look back at Alessa, curious by the turn of events. It didn't seem right that she didn't have a knife in her back already. Had Alessa turned to stone during their little scene?
However what she saw was all the more troubling. The DC captain's expression did not match what she surely saw. It was entirely too pleased, if a little heated. Kat had to admit it was a hot expression, but not matching at all with the current event. The pirate had the sneaking suspicion that something had been tampered with on more than one level, but she was winning, so chose not to point it out.
Righting her hat and snagging her pistol and dagger, she put herself back together before leading Ace out of the room. They had lots to do after all, and no time to dawdle.

Nɇmø  Someone once told me that life was too precious to waste. . .
"Ok, Let's go then," he replied with a puff of relief and a smile. He hadn't felt relieved or tried smiling much lately. It was nice, he decided. Good change of pace, and it meant that things were looking up.
He started to walk towards a small path that lead to a side small exit from the caves. It was here that most of the students whenever they wanted to go to the pirate post or some of the inlet beaches. It would have lead to Kry's camp as well, if it wasn't for Jareth's always changing labyrinth. Very few had bothered to attempt traversing through the jungle without a path and he had ways of changing where it lead to.
However, he stopped after a handful of paces, hearing Fyte unconsciously shiver. Unfortunately, the mere act of her covering her chest meant that that was exactly where his eyes went first. Then he quickly averted them and blushed. He tried to look at her face, but all those wet tight clothes meant that he couldn't trust they wouldn't roam indecently.
"Uh-m. . . A-actually, we should get you out of those clothes first. I mean, you're wet. No, I mean shivering. So you need to be hot, I mean you are, but no. I mean, we need to warm you up first. I mean, g-get dry clothes on you. So you don't get sick," Nemo blabbered. He was trying so valiantly to be polite, but everything that was coming out of his mouth was seemingly suggestive. In the end, he gave up and stayed silent, walking back to the main cavern where their rooms and fresh, dry clothes hopefully awaited.
. . . I wonder if I can return the favor.

Her face continued to burn, becoming a shade darker each time he fumbled with his words, until it seemed like all of the blood had gone to her face. Nodding silently, she almost dashed past Nemo in her haste to get to her room faster. It was embarrassing to say the least, having her figure so prominently displayed by her wet clothes. But she knew he didn't do it on purpose, and that one thought kept her from running away in embarrassment.
Once they arrived at her room, she dashed inside. Finding her towel, she toweled her hair dry before handing it off to Nemo. "I know you didn't get too wet, but…here." she said in a small voice, still embarrassed about earlier. Ducking back inside, she stripped off her old clothes and laid them out to dry. Fyte knew she'd have to wash the salt water out later, but…that could wait. Picking out a white, off shoulder strapless sundress, she donned it. Doing a little twirl, she smiled before grabbing the matching hat. Since coming to the island, other students had constantly been finding things they were good at, like designing clothes. Fyte would have to thank the girl later, when she saw her. Giving her wet hair a quick brush, she tied it up with a ribbon. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the room, back to where Nemo was waiting. "I-it looks ok, right?" she asked shyly.…Let the two of us put our small hands together, and let's search for stardust and a bright shining eternity 風

ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ  ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… Watching Ace disappear, she couldn't help but feel a bit sad at his departure. Still, she didn't make any hint of what she was thinking, and directed her attention back towards Kat. Noticing the other girl give her an odd look, the clone herself began to wonder. Kat would surely not have just watched Ace kiss and fondle her without doing something, so something must have happened. Perhaps Ace had something to do with it? It didn't seem like he was going to choose between them anytime soon, so he probably pulled something off to distract the both of them. The clone then shook her head. Could she really doubt Ace like this? She hated how she was suspecting him of such things, but then what was Kat doing the entire time she'd been making out with Ace? Watching them leave the room, she heaved a sigh. Once they were out of sight, she proceeded to disappear without a trace.
Alessa had been mid sentence when her clone relayed the information, causing her to pause and blush at the same time. Coughing to try and clear her mind of what had just transpired, she looked at the president. "Sorry for always dumping my troubles onto you like this." She said, moving to stand up. "It seems like maybe I should go and see what Kat brought back from her recent trip, perhaps help take some inventory." She gave a smile at the president. "Thanks for listening." With that, she left the room.
Once outside, she blushed harder as she thought back to what had happened between her clone and Ace. It was quite the bold move they'd both made, which made her blush madly. "Damn straight I'm going to pulverize you..." She muttered, before lifting a hand to her cheek. It stung, though there was no visible injury; her nerves were tuning into what the clone had experienced. She was just thankful there hadn't been a more serious injury. Taking a step forward, she finally set off towards the pirate post.…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

 Ace was walking next to Kat as they headed down the trail towards the pirate post on the beach. It was a good couple minutes away and gave them time to talk. He was happy he was able to be around his friend again after a while at sea. He wasn't sure what to ask at first so he decided to bring up business first. "So for the stuco they were wondering if you brought back any medicine, books, and enough food. We have enough for a few weeks rations, but we don't wanna use them if we don't have to you know?" He says locking arms with her. The trail was kind of narrow, but isolated so they were the only two on it for now, which was nice and the breeze was nice on them. He looked over at his friend as he locked arms with her.
He pulled her close and walked with her as they started getting closer to the pirate post. It was to mess with her in a way, but he also liked to be close. It wasn't everyday he got affection from someone. Even if everyone was like family, it wasn't like a true one that he could hug and hold for bonding. Still if anything Kat was the closest thing he thought of as a sister, but was definitely seeing her as a love interest, he just didn't wanna be wrong or hurt Alessa as well as he knew of their past now and could see them together. He was just confused and didn't know what to do so hopefully he could decide soon. The walk was almost done and they finally got to the three way intersection that lead to the post and Ace stopped her pulling her close almost in a hug with one hand on her waist and the other holding her other hand. "Hey wanna go play games or something instead of going to the post? We haven't hung out in a while ya know?" He says with a smile.

As soon as they were away from Alessa, Kat visibly relaxed. She didn't want to say it, but that girl was way too uptight. She needed to learn to have a bit more fun and not take things so seriously.
After walking with Ace for a few minutes in companionable silence, he tried to break it by talking business. Maybe he was feeling a little awkward after their scene? she thought, then disregarded that. It wasn't Ace's style. He never let things bother him for too long. If it was serious he'd get it off his chest then move on with his day.
"We managed to round up a few things. The yacht had the most in it, mostly sailing supplies, fishing gear and some non perishables. I'm sure the fishing kids would love to get some of that. Managed to get a few emergency first aid kits, but nothing too exotic when it came to medicine. People don't normally carry that sort of thing on their boats, unless it was some non profit barge from red cross," she explained, letting her arm link with his. It made her smile. Just like they when they were kids. Always arm in arm, comrades of mischief and always in the others shadow.
"But we got enough to make a few people happy."
When they came upon the fork in the road, Kat stopped when she felt his arm slide all the way around her waist. Trying to fight the smile that was playing on her lips, she looked at him as he suggested they make a detour from going to the post. Her heart raced at the thought that he was implying, but then she silently slapped herself. Get a grip girl, that's not what meant, she thought. Always such a pervert.
"I'd like that," she said, steering them to the left. Her crew understood how busy she was. They'd forgive her for not rushing strait back to the post. And besides, its not like she's that far away from it anyhow. Just a little time to unwind and have fun, that wasn't to much to ask for.
The path wound down onto the pebble beach that served as the private loading cove for the ship. As the beach opened to reveal the small inlet, they looked upon her anchored ship, the sight of it making her well with pride. It had been quite the endeavor to obtain and she fiercely protected it.
Taking a seat in an open patch of pebble that wasn't wet, she motioned him to sit with her. The stones were soft and worn smooth from the waves, their colors ranging with agates and bits of shell mixed in. It was Kat's favorite beach by far, because it always looked like there was a bit of treasure to find, if one was willing to sift through all of the tiny bits.
"Let's try out the racing game," she suggested. "Bet I can beat ya!"
(I imagine at this point, they're playing vidja games, sitting all close on the beach. Trying to cheat by bumping each others arms and laughing, because no one is really trying to beat the other all that much. XD Hence the laughing and the closeness that Alessa can walk in on.)

ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… As she walked down the caverns, she made note of what needed to be cleaned up later and what needed to be repaired. For the most part, it seemed like this part of the cavern had escaped the damage. A breath of relief escaped her, though truthfully she was glad no one had been seriously injured. A huge recovery effort would be the last thing they needed at the moment, what with Kry running about and their own group hanging on by a sliver.
There wasn't much sounds that could be heard in that particular corridor, besides the sound of her walking. As she came to the fork in the path, she made a move to take the right, but an unnatural sound from the left made her pause. Listening carefully, the sound came again. Laughter. It's not like she was against laughter and happiness, but what concerned her was the fact that there were two voices laughing, one that she would be able to recognize anywhere. Why is Ace at the pebble beach instead of the pirate post? Did he say that so that I wouldn't get in the way of them? she thought, her fears bubbling to the surface. Taking off in a sprint, she dashed to the beach, only to be greeted with a sight she didn't want to see. Ace and Kat were laughing, cuddling shoulder to shoulder and occasionally jostling each other. Her face heated up, and her chest clenched painfully at the sight.
"HEY!" Alessa shouted, almost charging down the beach at them. She slowed down her pace to a walk, trying to not seem so hurt and desperate. It would only prove to the red head how much of an advantage she had.…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

Ace Price Ace had been sitting next to Kat as the two had decided a racing game, but unfortunately it was a race by race game so the two had to take turns holding the controls meaning that It was real competitive as the placing and times you got affected which one would win. It started nice, until Ace and Kat started to bump each other to try and knock them out of there race or mess them up. It was game on and the two started to try and win at any cost as the rounds went on.
Ace was in the middle of his turn as he heard a familiar voice and hit pause to turn around to see Alessa. He smiled at her and waved "Hey, what's up Alessa?" He asked not sure as to why she was heated a bit. He did say he would meet her at the post, but not right away or anything. It then hit him, maybe she was not trying to get revenge and he fell on to his back and raised a hand at her as a stay back thing or a hold up gesture "Now Alessa there is no reason to beat me to a pulp right? I didn't do anything that bad?" He says looking over at Kat and then back at Alessa.

Kat looked over her shoulder at the approaching woman, irritation plain on her face. She was winning dammit and now he'd get too distracted, which meant that her triumph wouldn't be legit. Not to mention that she didn't like how he immediately debased himself in fear of her violence. Getting to her feet, she shifted so that she stood between Alessa's incoming path and Ace who cowered under her glare, hands on hips which just so happened to be near both her pistol and dagger hilt.
"No Ace, you didn't," she answered him, though her gaze never left the lavender headed ball of annoyance. She was told that you never took your eyes off an opponent, as both a sign of honor and guarding against dirty moves.
They had only just left her, couldn't she have given them a little more time? Kat didn't like it that she couldn't enjoy more than a few sparse minutes with the most important person to her. It grated on her, like did this girl think she was his wife, or something? She didn't have the monopoly on his time. Besides, didn't she have better things to do, like running the DC?
"Miss us so soon?" she asked, making sure her voice was light and airy.

It wasn't like Ace couldn't take a good slap or two every now and again, and he was certainly no damsel in distress. She matched Kat's gaze, noting that her hands were close to her weapons. She placed a hand on her scabbard, but made no attempts to draw her sword. It wouldn't do to go jumping into a fight right now.
"Oh, maybe. Y'know, it's just that the Disciplinary and Student councils have been fighting for so long, and seeing as how we have a truce and a respite, I figured I could try and patch things up between our groups with the Vice President here." Alessa explained, cracking a small smile as she did so. However, her smile had no warmth, and it almost felt like an imaginary winter air was blowing around the two rivals. Kat was only spouting the pleasantries for Ace's sake, as evidenced by him interfering with their mock fight earlier. However, something told Alessa that if they fought now, there would be no holding back punches, and Ace wouldn't be able to stop them. "Besides, didn't your crew need you to come back, Miss pirate? Their call earlier had seemed a bit on the urgent side." …Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

"Well as you can see, he's busy with another appointment. Maybe you should come back later," she countered coolly. Kat got the distinct impression that alessa didn't want them spending any time together. She should know better than that, Kat thought. Ace wouldn't be with anyone who tried to separate him from those he was closest with. And the thought of him smothered like that made her all the more upset.
Kat had just about enough of alessa's condescension. How dare she presume to understand how much hard work she'd put into her endeavors. All the preperation she went through to ensure her crews safe voyage, all for everyone's benefit. That included the person before her.
"How dare you," she snapped, a bright red barrier appearing and shoving alessa back a couple steps before disappearing again.
"You are not my superior, my boss, my mother, or any form of authority over me or mine. What I do, how I go about it and when I decide to get it done is none of your concern. All your pretty face need do is be grateful I'm generous enough to share."

Having been caught off balance, she straightened up, glaring at the redhead. "Touchy, aren't we?" She tsked, though she dropped down into a defensive stance. She had both hands on her sword, but didn't draw it just yet. She knew just how much of a disadvantage she was at with her powers against Kat's, especially since hers relied on physical contact in combat.
Quite honestly, she was surprised at how volatile the pirate captain had been; she'd always seemed like the level headed type. Still, that didn't mean Alessa underestimated her any less. "Don't let my actions reflect on the rest of the students here. While I have been appreciative for your donations, I don't condone one form of piracy. You've been doing that quite a bit since you've gotten back, and it's my business when your actions interfere with me!"…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

"Fighting over a boy, I never thought I'd see either of you stoop so low." A large sandy blond wolf sat several yards away from the two girls. His eyes glanced over at the red haired girl before he closed his eyes. He had seen this coming, but he sure wished it has been anyone other then that brat. As he launched himself forward his body glowed white as it changed backed to his normal self. "It's Alessa correct? I think your the one I helped saved....or was that the Fyte girl. I'm sorry I haven't done my job learning names. Anyway Alessa, don't you have better things to do then dealing with a couple of tramps." Sliding his hands in his jacket's pockets, he probably shouldn't bother the situation. Still Ryo couldn't stand seeing someone being done wrong. He also refused to turn his head back towards Kat, unable to come to terms that he had been played.
"Before either of you get into a fight, you both need to realize who has wronged you. Don't fight each other, get angry with the little b*****d over there. Wasn't he trying to flirt with the dark haired friend of Tsukiko's as well?" Was that the one named Fyte? He really couldn't remember, but that wasn't important.
"Though if you are both set on ripping each other's throats out I won't stop you. I'm sad to say I'm routing for you Alessa." He shouldn't be bitter, it was one dance after all. A hundred years later and he was still stuck in teenage mode. Still...he didn't see the point in them fighting each other, but he neither of them took his offer of beating the brat....well he certainly knew a certain friend of Tsukiko's that would enjoy some alone time with him.
Oh, I want to teach you a lesson in the worst kind of way✘

The very nerve of her, Kat thought. How clingy could one deranged person be? It may have been true that Alessa and Ace had dated for a short time, but that was then and this was now. She had her chance. Once, Kat had lost him to the pains of death, she wasn't about to lose him again and the realization had surprised her. All this time, she had stayed just out of reach, because she couldn't handle getting intimate again and seeing him reset and forget. Since then, she waited patiently, hoping that he would realize on his own, how much she loved him and how happy they were together. However, seeing Alessa doing almost the same thing, spurned her actions again. Katanna didn't have the luxury of time that he did.
However, at the moment, the more important thing was dealing with the insolent person who was trying to steal what precious time they had left. Kat was about to respond to Alessa, her words on the tip of her tongue, but the sudden appearance of Ryo redirected her building anger. Shifting her body so that she could keep both of them in her line of sight, Kat clenched her hands tighter on her hips, fighting not to pull out her pistol. She could feel Ace behind her, but for now he wasn't she needed to worry about.
"What the hell?" she ground out when he started to lecture them, her cheeks tinging red the more he spoke. His words bit almost as hard as her teeth on her lower lip. It had seemed so long ago, that fling during the dance. She had liked Ryo, really she had. However after the battle and their retreat to the island, she had seen neither hide, nor hair of him. The pirate captain figured that he hadn't really liked her all that much and had dove head first into her seafaring ventures as a way to get over being rejected. It hurt, but she was a tough gal and had more important things to worry about.
"Don't judge before looking in the mirror," she countered, noting how Ryo refused to look at her. If it wasn't for the cold countenance, she'd have almost felt bad for not trying harder to seek him out. "What have you been doing since we've been here, eh? I know, helping your friend Tsukiko. That's admirable, but don't think that's any different than what I'm doing."
It wasn't any secret that Ryo was almost always at Tsukiko's side. Many people assumed that they were a thing, at least til they saw her with Palian. Then rumors spread and became rampant, as they often were, ranging from a demonic threesome, to the witch being unable to decide between two competing lovers. Having enough troubles of her own, Kat instead had put her efforts into helping the greater good. Besides, it wasn't like she was always around Ace. She only ever saw him once in a while between voyages. Couldn't a girl catch a break?
