Leora listened to the tides of votes turn against one unfortunate girl, sitting in her puddle of ruffles and lace. Well, by the count Leora was keeping, the girl was already dead, so might as well toss her stone onto the pile. " I vote Mackenzie. "

"It's always nice to have such clear agreement in these things -- but now, it seems, Mackenzie is most decisively dead." Ever shrugged at her, held his hand out for her card....and slowly turned it around so that they could see the picture on the other side.
Cupid was now dead, which meant the lovers knew who was to blame for their intertwined fates, and another villager was down for the count.
"And now, of course, it's night. Heads down everyone...! ________________________________________

Sorry Sylent, but Mack is now dead. I'm giving you the opportunity to RP out a death scene IC if you'd like, so as to pad out your word count and make sure you have the required 450, if you don't already. However under no circumstances should you say anything in your death scene. It's a dramatic, fun thing for you to do, not a way to give extra information!
EVERYONE ELSE -- Night approaches. Werewolves and the Seer will receive PMs shortly. The next day round will begin in about 24 hours. If you'd like, you can RP putting your heads down now.
Kenzie grinned from ear to ear when Ever flipped her card around to reveal her as Cupid, which meant that she was most definitely a villager. She shot Laine a disapproving I-told-you-so expression before pushing herself up to her feet. Time to get her actress on.
Her eyes went wide and she looked around the room, her expression turning to one of horror. She backed up, her hands in front of her as if she was being surrounded by a mob with torches and pitchforks. Suddenly she was tripping, and moved her body in a way that instead of dropping to the ground with a thud, she fell rather gracefully. Her mouth opened wide as if screaming, her body curled in on itself and then in a sudden moment she went limp and rolled her tongue out with her eyes closed.
RIP Mackenzie Taylor.
After a few seconds of death, she opened her eyes before laughing and finally moving over towards the now very crowded drink area in the room.

Avery's observant eyes marked the way tension grew and eased from Ariel's body, but didn't comment, instead offering her a bright smile. "I like to dance, and my partner-in-crime has already left." Damn that Lena Adler.
As Mackenzie met her demise [Avery was not surprised by this, nor the fact that she wasn't a wolf], the brunette gave her a friendly wiggle of the fingers - welcoming her to their little group.
This night felt shorter, perhaps; things moving quicker now that there were fewer players in the game. Of course, there was still at least one wolf, and the Protector unaccounted for --
Well. They could just deal with that today.
"Heads up, dawn is breaking." He swiped his hands together as he stood, looking from the rather-large group gathered off to one side, the dead, and then back to his remaining players. Ever flashed them a smile and, slowly, approached Leora.
"I'm sorry Leora, you are now dead." He reached down for her card and flipped it over slowly: neither wolf nor Protector here, just a simple villager. "Do your death scene at your leisure -- and everyone else..."
He raised his eyebrows.
"Who dies today? You'd best make those votes count..." __________________
OOC NOTE:
It's lynching time!
For the next 48 hours, you should discuss in character who you think might be a wolf, who should be lynched, etc. If you want to say you think you felt someone move in the night -- go for it. If you want to go based on your knowledge of people in character -- go for that. If you want to lynch your BFF because it's hilarious -- also solid grounding.
I only have one request: Keep your posts brief. If possible, stick to 3-4 sentences max. Make it easy for people to read and keep the play going! You can post a bunch of times or you can post once, and that's up to you.
By 48 hours from this post, however, you should post in red bold font who your character is voting to be lynched. I'll post a reminder at the halfway mark!
Sorry Nilo, but Leora is now dead. I'm giving you the opportunity to RP out a death scene IC if you'd like, so as to pad out your word count and make sure you have the required 450, if you don't already. However under no circumstances should you say anything in your death scene. It's a dramatic, fun, stupid thing for you to do, not a way to give extra information!
As always, if anyone's confused, just shoot me a PM/IM. I'm around a lot. XP
"Makayla,"Delilah said, a half-smile on her face, "I admit I don't really have a reason except 'gotta pick someone,' and the choices are running very thin." She shrugged her shoulders. "Someone among us has to be a wolf, after all!"
"I think everyone has been voted for at this point so..." It was all a matter of who to throw under the bus this time. "Makayla." She called. "Nothing personal." Makayla just scared her. That was pretty much it.

"I'm sorry Makaylabut my vote goes for you as well," Jade said after two other girls have casted their votes. She wasn't sure what would happen if it would come to tie but she wasn't really eager to find out.
Accusations tossed Makayla's way were, apparently met only with silence -- not that it mattered. Three again once was a rather decisive end to this round. Still, Ever let it drag on for a hair too long before he shook his head and stood.
"Well, then, I guess it's over." He eased forward and, slowly, took Makayla's card from in front of her, shrugging at the rest of them. "Makayla is dead, and..."
Slowly, he flipped the card over, to reveal the villager symbol on the other side.
"...the wolves have triumphed. As this night approaches, they will band together to take down the last remaining villager."
He raised an eyebrow, gesturing at Laine and then swiping a hand across his throat.
"Protector or no, the game's over. Death scenes if you've got them. Everyone else..."
He shuffled back over to his chair to grab a plastic bag from under his chair and held it open for them to reach in and grab a prize, if so desired. He hadn't splurged here. Instead there were sticky eyeballs in a variety of colors.
"Thanks for playing? If you're interested in doing this again sometime, let me know." ________________________________________

LO, THE WOLVES HAVE WON! Good game everyone...! The dead can now speak, interact with each other as desired, and claim their prizes. Other than this, however, the RP is over; make of it what you will, and hopefully you met some people to RP with in the future!

Delilah looked very much amused when she reached into her bag to return the card to Ever and claim her prize. "Excellent game," she said, "I look forward to next time, if there is one!" It had also been a very good distraction from sitting on her girlfriend's couch and moping.
She walked over to the drink table and grabbed herself a bottle of beer for the road, and then waited for Laine, because it would be rude to leave without the person she'd originally arrived with.
Ariel's smile spread warm and wide across her face as she lifted her glass in salute.
"I would love to take you there, if you're okay with slumming it." She laughed, offering a wink. "Its a bit seedy, but that's the way I roll. At least the drinks are cheap and strong."
Seeing yet more people bite the imaginary dust, Ariel offered them a benevolent smile, waving a hand as Avery did to welcome them into the small group of the dead.
"An after party sounds like just the thing we need." The black-haired woman declared as she sipped the wine her new friend had shared with her.

"Well ********." Laine grumbled before shooting Lila a small annoyed look. "I'm never sitting next to you again... At least you didn't try to throw me under the bus like Gabriel did." She shrugged lightly. "No death scene I'm afraid." The white haired girl said as she stood. "But if I don't show for work. You know why." She added snickering as she walked back over to Lila. "It was fun Ever~"
"I'm always on the losing team," Sawyer observed mournfully, examining a sticky eyeball with something like pleased horror. "It's because Ever has a grudge against me. Pissed off because I'm cuter than he is. Oh look," he added, having abruptly remembered that there was more alcohol.

“Right… cuter, sure.” Zac said in an vaguely amused tone. “Whatever you say ‘lover boy’’ He said in a small tease for Sawyer’s roll in the game before he moved back towards Ever, grabbed a fist full of shirt to pull ever down to a height and…
Kissed him, before turning back looking smug.

Surprisingly enough, Scott's digestive track decided it could hold out a little longer, so there were no extended or embarrassing trips to the restroom for him. However, it meant that he was present for the rest of the game, sitting perfectly still in his corner and festering with guilt until the last of the villagers fell...
When Ever announced the end of the game and the results, that was the only invitation that Scott needed. Keeping his head down, he made a move towards the door, hoping that no one would see or try to talk to him on his way out.
The less they saw of the disgrace known as Scott, the better...
