Baphomet the Corrupter

Class: A- Class
Demonology: Decay Demon
Meister: Beast Master & Zombie Warrior

She understood his threat then, and eve better, she understood that any fight she put up would be entirely futile in it's practice - she could scream and whine and cut at this demon, but those efforts would prove nothing more than the fact she was unwilling to have some strange demon bearing some kinship with her instead ravage her to the ends of the earth and keep her until the moment came when she bore him a child. He grinned mischievously, he had thought of having children before, sometimes he liked to think the human women were attractive, and other times he tried to think about spreading his seed among the demonic community, but never, never had he actually taken the prerogative to do so. A child would almost be welcome, if he thought about it, this little demonling who much like him could become something much more with time and resources. He smirked wildly, and let out a laugh.

"The Flame Haze leaves only destruction in it's path. Death in quantity, suffering in quality, and enough of both to fuel a new holocaust."

He almost didn't believe that the Flame Haze would have come simply to deliver a message, that just wasn't their style. Shana of all of them, damned Kin of Iblis, could be described as an avatar of destruction, a scion of plight, and Baphomet would be lying to say that he didn't fear the name. And here, this little girl wanted to be done with the greater demon, and he laughed again, only pushing his glasses into his jacket pocket with something akin to interest playing across his features. Here he stood, obviously hostile, but possessing of a humor that seemed to almost make the hostility bearable. And still, he knew she had more information, more stuff to tell him. An eyebrow quirked curiously, and he licked his lips hungrily.

"You've got more to tell me." He whispered dangerously.

Viper quick, his hand would strike out to snag her wrist in his pseudo iron grip, holding her fast like a vice. He was fast, he was strong, and while that was obvious in his carry, it might not have been just so obvious how his power outweighed the girl's own until that moment - he was on an entirely different level, and for the purposes of the difference, she might as well have been a baby trying to fight off a snake. He grinned like a madman, and for a moment it wouldn't have seemed out of place to imagine that face - possibly handsome one, before the piercings and the tattoo's affected it so negatively - covered in a sheen of blood, both wet and dry.

"You're going to come with me. You said it yourself, this Academy is a shithole." He sneered, looking up for a moment. "A princess has no reason to stay any longer than she should.

The way he seethed the word princess would make it seem like a curse coming from his lips.

He drew one of the swords at his waist, part threat and part to make whoever was watching them reconsider attacking. The length of the blade, a shining white, would tell the girl just how dangerous it was, and immediately, it began blazing with the purple-black energy Baphomet held in his hands, and that would be enough to identify it - a Trial Sword, one of those all-too-dangerous weapons that only a rare few were seen using, and the way he held the long blade, easily as if it were nothing more than a foam fake, he knew how to use it, and that in of itself would be a threat. He stalked towards the exit, pulling the girl along with his superior strength, and giving her only cursory glances to ensure she wasn't reaching for a weapon or attempting some weird escape.

"You're going to tell me everything. If I've got to cut it out of you, I'll do it." He threatened, his voice adopting a sternness to it that seemed almost unnatural - his natural charisma was translated into something else, an unnatural power that Naira would have a difficult time resisting, as her status and birth made it so. "Don't doubt me. Don't doubt me for a second. I'll destroy you just as quickly as I would this school."

As if to show the girl an example of that power, to demonstrate the vast gulf that lay between their strengths, Baphomet would simply breathe out of his mouth and nose. A miasma, bruised purple and a deep jet black and sickly pulsing green and a pus colored yellow, fell from his lips and slunk around the ground, before it began to build up, stronger and stronger. The little bits that touched the girl, it should have done nothing, she was a child of decay after all, but even she would feel the pins and needles of that darkest rot. It rose over the ground, looming with nothing more than a thought, and it passed over the remaining bits of grass, which turned yellow and decayed before their very eyes. It struck walls and brick, and it began to age rapidly, to the point that after a few heartbeats, a wall fell down in a wide crash that sent dust into the air. Still the stuff would pour from the man, it didn't even look like he was breathing any more, he had become a factory of pestilence. It touched and poked at the flames, smothering them with lack of oxygen, and where things had been burning, a moment later they would be overrun with destruction of a more unnatural kind. Here and there, fungi sprouted from the ground, dangerously poisonous stuff that would be upset with proximity to warmth - presents for the exorcists that would rain only more poison down upon their skies. In mere moments, led by a madman, Naira would watch as the courtyard and the walkways leading to the rest of the academy would be slowly filled with the stuff of nightmares. He had stopped, and had begun guiding his miasma around a good portion of the academy, smothering flames with his poison and bringing down structure upon structure with nothing more than the directed power of decay. A forest, which had been lit up with dark red flames, instead became an island of death, as the creatures which had been running away from the heat and smoke were moments later brought to the ground by a myriad of disease and the all too powerful strength of old age. The trees would dry into thin crisps, nothing compared to the verdant greenery which had once filled the massive courtyard.

"We're nowhere near done." He finally whispered.

Lucifer wasn't really sure how to accompany the feelings of confusion and slight worry filling up in his chest at the site before him with an expression.

The guy, apparently named Baphomint. Or Baphomont, or something like that, seemed to want some information that the girl had. But, when they started talking about the school, he strained his ears to listen further. What the bloody hell would that creepy guy want to know about the school? Did he even want to know anything about the school? Besides, the way he looked at the girl made him even more creepier and less cooler than he looked. Lucifer felt shivers run down his spine at his words, nearly feeling the urge to throw up overcoming him from the depths of his stomach. This guy was so weird...

Wait, did he saw that Exorcists were delicious?

Now that was just disgusting. He was glad he was out of plain view though. Maybe he wouldn't be eaten by the guy, or maybe sucked dry of all blood fluid in his body. Either way, Lucifer wasn't having any of it. If even one of them made their way over to him, he would fight, well, if he thought he could. He had a feeling if he really tried, he could take on the girl, but the guy was someone he didn't want to mess with. He seemed uncomfortable just from watching him converse with the strange Naira girl. His words were creepy.

As he listened on, the girl made it clear that she wasn't going to be his 'play thing'. Great. The guy was harassing her. And apparently her mom had suffered some type of similar fate compared to what they were speaking about. Everything was confusing Lucifer to no end. How did he end up getting caught up listening to them? He would have already ran from the site of that guy coming out of nowhere, but now that he wasn't even noticed at all, he wasn't bothered as much. As long as everything was kept perfectly where they were, and the rock he was behind didn't crumble or fall, he'd be fine. He just had to stay out of there line of vision.

The name Shana came up. Who ever this Shana girl must have been, she probably caused the fire. She had caused the fire and was looking for someone. That must have been that red-haired girl he had seen disappear along with that blue guy when he came out of the Housing he was put in. And the way she talked to the guy, she didn't like him one bit. So why doesn't she fight? Well, he knew why, but she seemed rather stern at him, so he expected some type of attack to ensue, but none came. She also seemed really impatient. She did not want to talk to this guy at all. Her nerves were being plucked at the edges and it was evident in her words. She didn't seem to notice him at all, so he would be fine.

Why did he keep thinking that?

He knew he'd be fine, so why worry about what might happen? The rock was going to stay where it was, and he would be completely fine. Maybe it was because he was just a bit nervous. He wasn't sure how long this rock would last, and he wasn't even sure if anyone really noticed he was here. If they did, he was screwed. Unceremoniously bad screwed. That's how bad this situation was. Why didn't he run? No, he didn't want to. His legs were going to be completely kept on the ground and his feet would accompany them. He wasn't moving until he lost interest, and he was far from losing it. They kept conversing, so he would stay and keep listening.

He watched as the guy seemed to get a bit hostile. He whispered something after licking his lips and then held the girl's wrist in his arm. That grip looked really painful, or at least tight. He could tell that the guy really wanted her for some strange reason. He would sneer left and right, and apparently, he wasn't apart of the school, and neither was she. Where would they go anyway? He came from somewhere, so he'd probably drag her along.

As the guy spoke, Lucifer felt the need to run growing. Something felt off with that guy. He wasn't sure what, but the power seeping from that guy was obviously dangerous. He soon watched in slight disgust as something dripped from the guys lips, but once it did, things started to decay and crumble. Lucifer's eyes widened and he watched as the grass browned and the trees around the area died. Structures crumbled and things started to completely fall apart. Lucifer didn't realize that it had spread pretty far to where he was and gasped as the wall of rock he had been hiding behind crumbled down into smaller pieces. He stepped back, cursing out loud, but not too loud as he watched the rock fall apart.

"Crap." He grumbled, watching the land decay even more. He definitely knew that this was a horrible idea. Why in the world would he stay? Well, it's not like he knew this would happen, but he was seriously regretting doing anything. He gulped, knowing that if he tried to go for cover, it wouldn't be much help cause most of the things he could hide behind were either too small, or completely decaying. Lucifer didn't know his life was going to end today, and at this minute. If it did, well, Lucifer could only blame himself. He was stuck in place, now feeling completely vulnerable. Most people would run away, but others would actually become paralyzed by the aching fear that would run through their very veins. That was how Lucifer felt at this exact moment, and he did not like it, any little bit of it...

                                                                                YummyBiscuits

A wild look crept across the demon’s pale face- something seemed to amuse him greatly. Naira only then began to wonder how serious he was about his threats he previously made or if perhaps she was right in feeling this particular demon wasn’t just probing her for information… Wondering how deep this “interest” he had expressed in her went. He then began to laugh before commenting off handedly about his view of the Flame Haze. Shana had certainly left enough destruction, the school behind them slowly crumbling away- it wouldn’t be long till it collapsed entirely. But had she caused enough death and suffering for the short story Naira had told to be believable to him..? Perhaps not. It wasn’t like there were bodies strewn about the courtyard or burning away from the golden flames which had only minutes before been falling from the sky.

In fact the courtyard was devoid of much more than the two of them- or so she thought. She wasn’t aware of the young male who hid from them. His aura was well masked by Baphomet’s- whose aura was almost overwhelming to her. It was hard to sense anything else at all while he stood so close.

Baphomet began to whisper- confirming her suspicions he hadn’t completely bought the tale she had told him… that he wanted to know more.. His words imbued a sense of danger as if he didn’t want to play around much longer. Before Naira had even seen the male move he had found a firm grasp on her wrist. She gasped in surprise as she looked down at his hand that wrapped easily around her thin wrist. Almost instinctively she tried to shake from his grip, yet no matter how hard she trashed the limb his arm didn’t even move- or struggle in the slightest. ‘Have I misjudged how powerful you are… Baphomet..?’ Naira questioned herself as she looked up towards his face, an almost wild look in her eyes and her brows furrowing with annoyance. Yet he only grinned- he looked like a mad man. The young half-breed could only wonder if this.. Baphomet found it funny how she struggled.. or even attempted to fight him, either with her words or physical movements. As she had only come to realize how hopeless a situation she had found herself in.. Like a fly trapped in a spider’s web she was at his mercy. Or perhaps the lack of it.

Her fears were soon confirmed as he mocked her- evidently she was going with him. He spoke as if it were a matter of fact and it didn’t matter in the slightest if she approved or not. Going so far as to mock the blood that flowed through her veins, as if being Astaroth’s only child was something of a curse. Naira could only growl in response as her mind whirled with questions of what the hell the man possibly wanted from her. Or if her ‘upbringing’ was truly what interested him most, and perhaps why he seemed so interested in abducting her from this place.

He then drew a sword that shone a brilliant white in the moonlight; it soon seemed to react to the male’s aura or something, as it irrupted with dark purple-nearly black energy that seemed to swirl against the surface of the steel, if it was steel, almost seductively. Naira knew little about what it could be- as she wasn’t terribly well versed in artifacts from Gehenna, only possessing those that her father had gifted her long before. She knew their uses and purposes but both the ornate comb and wire were tucked away out of her reach, hidden somewhere in the mass of her things in the bag along her back. Baphomet began to drag her off towards the main gate of the school, a signal her time at this Academy had likely run its course. That as well as the chance to complete task the Flame Haze had lined up for her- she couldn’t imagine Shana doing anything short of hunting her down and burning her alive for failing to find that girl... Akemi… Even if that failure was something completely out of her control. Naira wondered if the male would actually bother to protect her in any sense or throw her to the Flame Haze to avoid the trouble. It seemed like a questionable situation to be thrown into. She doubted they’d battle to determine who had the right to take her as their new toy.. ‘There has to be something I can do..’ Naira thought to herself as she began to struggle, her small body trashing wildly as he dragged her about effortlessly. Each attempt only met with the pain of the bones of her wrist grinding against one another from his seemingly insurmountable strength. She could feel his gaze looking down on her from above as she struggled. But, no matter what she tried there seemed to be no escape from his grasp.

He began to threaten her once more, although his voice was different this time around. Somehow the words coming from his mouth seemed to carry some sort of strange almost seductive power to them. It was almost weird how a threat to gut her with the sword he carried could be seductive.. Yet he only told her not to doubt him, that he would destroy her and perhaps kill her for refusing to tell him what he wanted..? Naira couldn’t be sure anymore, the thoughts in her head were filled with doubt, and fear. She didn’t want to die yet- not by his hand and surely not by Shana’s. Yet their wills were.. Conflicting to say the least.

A miasma seemed to pour out from his body, it was colored a variety of sickening shades- although she didn’t yet fear it.. For she knew it were a poison something that they both were effectively immune to.. Or so she thought. It was a strange sensation she felt as the poisonous cloud rolled over her skin- like pins and needles stabbing into her flesh. ‘How can that be…?’ Naira questioned herself as she allowed her body to become more or less limp as he dragged her about, her feet moving weakly behind him. Her dark gaze only resting on the ground which only decayed rapidly from the miasma. Baphomet soon stopped at the edge of one of the forests- of what was left of it, as the leaves soon fell from the trees as their cores rotted away almost instantly. Turning away from the male she watched as the miasma seemed to swell out further into the courtyard, as well as the creatures that seemed to almost be summoned from the depths of the poison clouds. Fungi and other things alike. The courtyard had quickly transformed into something from a nightmare. Everything would rot, and the monsters would come.

Baphomet soon whispered something that made her skin crawl, as she turned to look at him once more.

“Shana will hunt me down. If I don’t complete the task she has given me.” Naira said finally, as her dark gaze strived to meet his own. Her words having an almost mischievous playfulness- perhaps expecting Baphomet likely wanted little to do with that Scion of Destruction. They were after all of opposite kin, enemies of sorts. “You see.. I’ve.. a letter. To give to the girl she is hunting…. You were right, Baphomet. There is a little more to the story… Shana came to retrieve a girl named Akemi. I don’t know what importance that girl is to Shana.. But she seems to want her pretty badly… She broke the barrier and destroyed the school with her demon blade, Alastor, to make a point. But Akemi isn’t here. And I’ve a month to find her.” Naira told him, her gaze strangely curious to see how he would react. Only faintly hoping it would be something that would allow her sometime of freedom.. Before he came for her once more. But Naira couldn’t even be certain he feared the Flame Haze enough for that. Perhaps he would take her with him regardless of that threat- and only throw her to the she-devil once she came in a months' time.

Baphomet the Corrupter

Class: A- Class
Demonology: Decay Demon
Meister: Beast Master & Zombie Warrior

The trees around them were almost completely rotted through, with the bits of fungi popping up along the rapidly decaying bark and twining thin white threads through the entire structure, weakening it and allowing that quick growing fungi to feed like ravenous little beasts. One could imagine them as little scavengers, with their black mouths spread wide open and chomping out huge chunks of the stuff with teeth that were like needles - Baphomet could almost see those little imaginary faces spread wide in glee, their mouths filled with wet wood and little maggots that took the chance to feed in the last few moments of their life before they too were rotted away by the sheer power of Baphomet's miasma. Still, it spread through the courtyard, and it was moving to other parts of the school now, buildings falling to rubble as the mortar which held it up became little ore than jelly, as steel rusted away and stone gave way to the dust of ages. This was the demon's territory now, it would take time, lots of time and more energy than could be imagined, in order to clean the place of the vile stench and the obvious sign that demons had come. It wiped away signs of the exorcists in mere moments, heartbeats really. He smiled before he realized he was doing it, smirking as building after building fell and fungi came up with it's hard roots and hungry mouth. Not only would this all attract demons, the destruction of the barrier and the school's buildings falling over one by one, but it would also bring more destruction, more death, only fueling the inexorable rot that had come to claim this school with a vice grip - a grip that was all too akin to the one wrapped around the girl's wrist.

True Cross Academy would fall, if Baphomet had any more time. If he had that time, he could stand and direct streams of unlight and death through every building, across the faces of those who came to put out fires and suddenly had to deal with this poisoned air. Unprepared for this, a two pronged attack done by two demons with two different goals in mind, the school would be dealt a blow that might not ever heal. Baphomet liked the sound of that, and chuckled to himself.

One rock gave way to rubble, and the power he had felt earlier became worried, it's owner feeling something all to common to the mortals; fear. Now out in the open, and with the miasma closing in on him, Baphomet turned a quick glare towards the hiding exorcist, and with a wink, turned away, leaving him to whatever fate awaited him. If he joined the dead on this day, his bones the home of insects and worms and fungi, that would be what some great god had designed all along. If he lived, he's remember the power of this great demon, he'd tell his friends and superiors that an oddly dressed man had creeped him out and that he had such terrifying power that the school would only be able to sit back on it's fear. He smirked, and Baphomet turned away, back to his new friend.

She had been struggling until now, until she saw his power with her own eyes and had lost hop of being able to fight against it. Fighting meant death, and even if she had been filled with twice the amount of spitfire and sass, there was nothing she could really do besides play along and hope for the best. Looking down to her, and looking into those pretty little orbs, Baphomet saw fear, and something that undercut it; awe, he decided after a moment of study. She was in awe. She stopped struggling then, she knew it would be pointless, that a wrong move would mean pain, or worse, something much worse with this demon toting her along. And then she was talking, spilling her guts as if he'd spent hours working her body until the pain loosened her tongue - that was the power of fear after all, it's ability to inspire subservience in even the proudest of demons. This little princess was no different, arrogant and proud as she was.

He did in fact share her distaste for the Kin of Iblis - from their overpowering personalities, to their destructive tendencies, even to their desire to see things burn before their eyes. It was something Baphomet couldn't understand or share in, and from that, he learned hatred. He sneered for a moment, before his expression softened, just enough for it to be noticed but not enough to pull away from the fact that this man was worthy of the fear he had inspired.

"You're with me now. Let her hunt until the end of her days, child." Baphomet turned, and spit onto the ground, where the liquid would sizzle and burn into the earth. "You don't seem to realize something though."

He pulled her closer, until she was in front of him and could look him in the eye. She'd realize just how cold he was, how lifeless the body he wore truly was even though it gave signs of vitality and youthfulness. It was a dead body, worn by a demon who represented death in it's absolute.

"She's a Flame Haze. With a Demon Weapon. It means she's got responsibilities. If her Lord asked her to find this Akemi, then she's got to find her, not toss the job off to someone else so she can go and have some fun. Even Iblis would not allow such nonsense." He smirked, and waved a hand dismissively, as if Naira's fear were somehow unfounded - while it was a good thing to fear a Flame Haze, especially as a daughter of rot, there was enough political intrigue here that there were other things to consider, other facts the young girl hadn't been able to see through the thick cloud of fear that a girl who looked even younger could inspire. Behind them, trees would begin to fall, smashing into each other with showers of wet woods that splinted as soon as it hit the ground.

"I'll protect you from the little Flame Haze." He seemed to promise that, winking before tugging her back along the path. He still trailed the miasma, spreading it even as he walked back towards the exit. By now, he was sure, it had spread across most of the campus, and would continue to spread until most if not all of the school had become a breeding ground of rot at it's finest potential.

"You'll tell me more later. You're stuck with me for the foreseeable future." He moved them out of the way as one large wall fell, spreading dusty stone across the ground, which he'd quickly step across. "If you displease me, I'll rape you. If you try to run away, I'll just cut your legs off and then rape you. Stay with me though..."

He trailed off, looking back to her as finally, the little bits of poison stopped dripping and flowing from his lips. His teeth were sharp, unnatural, but they looked right in his head.

      "I'll protect you."

      [Exit]

He was going to leave him to die here. Such an a**hole! Now he was kind of left to his own devices. He grumbled and looked around. All he could do is run off, but to where? The weird destroying liquid was everywhere. He had to get away somewhere. He slowly stepped back, looking around his feet, and soon found an opening. He stepped back through it and soon hurried over away from them. The weird thing was getting worse, and he had to get far away from them as possible. He just had to think...

He looked over at the two as they seemed to still be conversing. That Bartholomew guy really needed a life, and a better love life. He was just being both cheesy, creepy, and outright weird. Well, he didn't want to mess with that guy, so leaving was his top priority right now. He did want to throw a rock that hadn't been devoured at him just for fun, but that would be his death if he did so. He would be doing a favor for the girl, but that guy would hunt him down and slit his throat apparently, and he was not in for that. Sighing, he turned around and hurried off, not without taking a quick glance back. Well, whatever happened to that girl wasn't his problem. If he was of no concern to them, than they were of no concern to him.

Quickly moving away from the area, he hurried off far away from it, enough to get away from the horrible decaying scenario he was in. Hopefully he wouldn't get in trouble for leaving school grounds with his weapon, but he really had no choice hear.

                                                                                [e x i t]

The miasma continued to swirl about as the forest around them continued to spoil and fungi grew and began to consume the rotted wood hungrily. Naira’s gaze wandered as she looked about the courtyard, it was almost amazing how quickly the place had when from embers to something worse than ash. With nothing more but the miasma Baphomet had created. Looking back to the demon before her she followed his gaze to the wreckage behind them, there was a figure of what was likely another student. Before the boy was crumbled rock and the miasma was coming close to his body. He soon turned and began to run off- he’d have to hope he’d be able to run quick enough to get out before the miasma took effect on him. It’d rot his body in a matter of seconds if he were too slow. Naira turned back, her gaze resting on the forest and far wall before them. She didn’t care if the boy made it- she didn’t know who he was or why he bothered to stalk them so. If he hadn’t bothered to get involved she didn’t care if he died.

Soon however the male began to speak and her gaze shifted to him as he seemed largely unconcerned about the things she had told him only moments before. He seemed unafraid of Shana potentially attempting to hunt her, spitting out into the ground before mentioning she had failed to see something about situation.

“Oh?” Naira said softly, unsure of what she had managed to overlook. Baphomet soon pulled her in front of him with an easy movement; she was near enough to feel the unnatural coldness of his body, as if he were a corpse. Perhaps he was. She wasn’t about to ask about this human body he possessed. He soon pointed out that Shana would likely have to make movements to meet her objectives of finding this Akemi person. Regardless if Naira delivered the letter or not. He waved his hand through the air; showing that he was fairly unconcerned about the she-devil. Naira was surprised when he seemed to make a promise to protect her from that demoness, ‘But would you really..?’ She questioned herself as she studied the man’s face, he merely winked before brushing past her. Soon leading the way down a path that would take them near to the Academies main gate once more. She didn’t bother to offer a struggle, following almost obediently behind him- not that he had won her trust or some such rather that she had already come to the conclusion that struggling wouldn’t help.

Baphomet would be the first to speak as he told her of things that would happen- that she would tell him more of whatever he seemed to think she was so knowledgeable about and that they would likely be together for some time to come. The later worried her more than the former but Naira didn’t speak out about it. She already knew that was likely to be the case, regardless if she liked it or not. It did irk her however, how little say she had in any of this. Having left the care of her human father only a year before she seemed to happen into the hands of another tyrant. It would just be a question of how poorly this tyrant would treat her, something she would only find out in a matter of time.

A large portion of the massive wall before them began to collapse from its own weight and corruption, Baphomet was quick to pull them out of the way, and quicker to step over the ruined stone left at the mouth of the massive hole. He began to speak once more, almost as if setting down the “rules” she was to abide by. If one could call them that. They boiled down to if she were to be ‘problematic’ she was going to be raped and perhaps end up missing limbs or some such additional punishment. If she were to ‘behave’ she would be protected. Or that at least was his word. He paused for a short moment as she looked up towards him, the miasma had stopped, and it was easy to see the sharp, jagged teeth he had. Naira looked away from him, as she stepped up onto the rubble, her gaze looking out towards the town that stood beyond the wall.

“Fine.” She said finally before looking back to him.

A few moments would pass as she may have seemed to be in thought, staring out towards the neon lights of Tokyo, “You can let go of my wrist. I’m not going to run.” She said slowly to him. He’d be able to read the annoyance in her voice. Yet she’d follow him regardless if he did release his fierce grip on her wrist, or not. As, she had already seen that there wouldn't be a contest between them. It would be a short contest to determine who would be able to dominate the other if it came out to a true battle. One she'd lose before it began.

Olivia ran through the city as quickly as she could. There was chaos on the streets as people were trying to flee from the dangerous areas. They looking for any place to hide themselves safely. The only problem was that Olivia was running against the crowd making it difficult for her to get to the academy as quickly as she was hoping. As she pushed through the crowd she still held a tight grip on her bag as it wheeled behind her. Finally she broke through the crowd of people and was able to find an empty street. The street was close to the academy which made sense as why it was empty. If the people were fleeing from the chaos the area's that were closer to the school would look as if it was a ghost town.

After a long jog to the acadmey Olivia was panting once she reached the top of the stair case. There before her the academy was crumbling underneath the roaring flames. Dropping her bag she grabbed her head and screamed.
"What the hell!" At first her scream would be interupted as she was shocked by the academy crumbling before her very eyes. However that wasn't the case."I missed it?! I didn't even get to join in the fight!" She sobbed. All she wanted to do was find a worthy demon and experiment on it. Killing some demons off would of just been a bonus. the quickly snapped out of her temporary depressed moment and balled one hand into a small fist and smacked it against the palm of the other."Oh yeah the students duh! Geez Olivia you're suppose to be a teacher." She then quickly took off running in a direction before coming to a sliding stop only to return back to where she started."Opps. Almost forgot. Haha." She grabbed onto the handle of her suitcase then took off once more strolling her bag behind her.

"Heeellooo! Is there anyone out here?!" she called out hoping for someone to answer back possibly someone was in need of help. 'Or maybe a demon will come out.. Oh that would be awesome!' she thought to herself with a creepy look on her face. She was so fascinated with demons it was almost scary. As she ran her suitcase would bounce of the ground as it hit different sizes of rocks and rubble as it trailed behind her. As she ran she started to notice that there was an abnormal about of smoke for how much fire there was. The smoke should of been rising into the sky but there was a cloud that hovered around the area. This smoke seemed the be acting different than the average smoke that comes from burning materials. Olivia continued to run but now one of her hands was covering her mouth and nose, creating a filter that would help her from breathing in the toxic Miasma. 'Well this isn't good.' she thought to herself now she had to find an area that didn't have this gas so she could help assess the problem in hand. But she still kept an eye open for students as she searched for a some what safer area.

Ghouls have appeared in the area, due to the high amount of Miasma. Miasma is very dangerous to humans, but in terms of demons it doesn’t harm them as much. The following system is in place for the Miasma not including the demons it has brought forth:

Humans within this area will lose 10 Mobility per post
Demons and Half Demons within this area will lose 5 Mobility per post

The Miasma is extremely concentrated here due to this being the origin of it. The Miasma here has a total of 200,000 Qi built up. Destroying the Miasma will take time. It is acidic and melts through everything including metals, so caution is advised. The Miasma will lose its power as time goes on, lowering it’s Qi amount by 500 every five posts. The Miasma can be attacked directly which will lower its Qi. Fatal Verses that target demons of Rot and the Golden Flames will burn through the Miasma which can eventually destroy it. Please understand that the Miasma is traveling through the areas, and will eventually overrun the Academy completely if it is not stopped.

His key had taken him to one of the secret doors built within the side of the large staircase that led up to True Cross Academy. Now, having moved around the door itself, he quickly made his way onto the staircase before moving up to the top. The cloud of miasma looming over and through the area had forced Lloyd to stop at the top of the stairs in order to evaluate everything. Likewise, both Celebron and Sirzechs jumped down to both sides of their master. They would have an easier time maneuvering through the miasma due to their demon lineage, but there was no telling what this Miasma would do to him, regardless of whether or not he wore the gas mas. He could not count the number of ghouls that moved around within the miasma but he could tell just from watching that their numbers pushed past the hundred boundary. Unsheathing Durandal, he looked around for the best place to start cutting down their numbers but could not find any one spot to begin. "It goes without saying that we need to dispatch this miasma. While I could try and get rid of it with my blade, there's no telling what else I would destroy in the process. So, that's a no." For a moment he paused in order to take one other quick look around the area. "I'll be relying on your flames today. Neither one of you should be trying to do it all. Switch off and conserve Qi." Breathing loudly through the mask just so he would be able to hear the sound, he put both hands on Durandal's hilt before looking to his familiars with a nod. It was time to begin.

Moving forwards, he entered the cloud of Miasma, leaving his two familiars behind just before the start of the toxic gas. Standing still for a moment, he waited until the Ghouls in the area finally seemed to notice that someone who was not like them had entered the area. With his gas mask, he did not have to worry so much about the toxic air itself, but the creatures within. He had only seen Ghouls but there was no telling what may or may not have decided to show up over the course of his attempt to clear the area. "I find it hard to believe that the famed True Cross Academy would fall in such a way? There really should be a better defense system than thousands of paper tags placed around the school. Would a barrier maintained by one power source not serve to better the security of the school itself?" Ghouls continued to get closer and closer, their sluggish pace giving him more than enough time to figure out how he wanted to go about dispatching them. "The barrier is composed of thousands of paper tags because its harder to break down that way. If the barrier is controlled by more than one thing, it can not be targeted and simply destroyed. Let's discuss this at a later date, alright? For now, we simply need to do what we can."

The full body suit that the exorcist within the Exorcist Hall had given him alongside the match was actually fairly comfortable. That is to say, if one managed to avoid and or ignore the itchy feeling that the material gave off. But, since it was designed to go up against, Miasma, he could only assume that there had to be some flaw in its design for it to work nicely against miasma. "Does it even really matter how the stupid barrier was created or how its sustained? The fact of the matter is that it got destroyed. It does not matter how many Upper Class demons were present when it was taken down. The barrier here sucks balls and it needs to be changed. But humans never seem to learn. So we fix the barrier by placing new tags down. What is to stop whatever Upper Class Demons that brought the barrier down from returning here and simply doing it again. Do not even try to say all of the exorcists, since whatever exorcists were here obviously did absolutely nothing. You guys are students, powerful though you may be, you're students. The professional exorcists that may or may not have been in the area did absolutely nothing." Lifting his sword above his head, he cut down the first Ghoul that managed to actually reach out for him. Truth be told, it was hard thinking about the stability of the new barrier to come while fighting off something that wanted to eat him. Spinning on his heel, he pushed himself into the air, dragging his blade through the body of the closest ghoul. Landing softly on the ground once more, he turned to where he knew Celebron and Sirzechs were before ducking another attack on him. "This really is not the time Sirzechs. Complain about the stability of the barrier, its creation, how to protect it, and all other things after we've finished. Now, I need some help." Despite his saying that, he knew that the dog demon would not simple hold his comments, nor did he expect him to. However, he did expect to get the help he needed with the situation at hand.

The small pup form of Sirzechs soon disappeared as the large three-headed Cerberus stood tall and proud. Golden flames welled up from within the dog demon's body and with the opening of his mouth, a stream of said golden flames went crashing down onto the area itself leaving a nice fireball once the stream ended. The sudden illumination of the area by one of the Flames of Purgatory had momentarily caused him to pause in his movements. From what he knew, the Flames of Purgatory were better known as the Flames of Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Now there was not much he knew about said flames, but he knew from simple lessons about the demon flames from Sirzechs that he could not touch the Golden Flames. If he did, they would drain him entirely of his Qi and without it he would pass out. Passing out in an area filled with Ghouls was probably not something one wanted to do either. Ghouls that had been present in the area were incinerated by the sheer power of the flames. If some had managed to avoid incineration, their retreating had led them to be cut down by Lloyd.

Soon after, the golden flames ceased being expelled from Sirzech's mouth as he looked to make sure he had not hit Lloyd by accident. "The Golden Flames of Purification should be able to do something about this heavy miasma, though I know not how much Miasma is in the area. In any case, little cat, are you able to produce the Golden Flames as well? Or is such a feat simply impossible for you?" While the three-headed dog demon may have been edging the Cat Sidhe, knowing that Celebron would not back down from a challenge would make the dispersal of the miasma that much easier. "Don't worry about it, big dog. You'll get to see greatness at work soon enough." With that, Celebron slammed one of his paws firmly against the ground before hunching slightly in order to enter a battle ready position.

The silver haired half breed followed his assigned "partner" through the hallway, and into the door he had opened with his key. It led them to the side of the large staircase that led up to the Academy. 'Was this door always here?..' The young man shrugged as he looked at his surroundings trying to recognize their current position. Nope. The half breed never even knew this door existed, and this was definitely the first time he was seeing it. It seemed that there was much that the half breed did not know about True Cross, which he ought to know. The half breed nodded firmly to himself, thinking that he should explore the grounds more on his time off. While he stood in his spot looking around trying to recognize the area, Lloyd had already gone ahead. "Urk! Wait up Lloyd!" The young man said as he tried to catch up to the male and his two demonic companions.

Upon reaching the top of the staircase, the half breed's eyes widened. Whistling as he looked at the giant cloud of toxic, he could see the number of ghouls that were wandering about. "Man that's a whole bunch... They stink too!" The young man showed a face of displeasure as he put his gas mask on, hoping that the stench would lessen with it on. The mask worked somewhat, and he took a loud breath in satisfaction. 'Alright, that should do it. For now, at least.' The young man was not too afraid of the mist, having demonic blood flowing through him. One of the few benefits of being the son of Satan. How long he would last in the mist, the half breed didn't know for certain. Looking to his right, Lloyd had already entered the miasma, without him once again. 'Ah dammit Lloyd... You could at least wait for me!' The half breed thought to himself. Although they were working together, they did have two separate missions. His being to rescue any survivors within the miasma, and take them to the cram school. Lucky for him, he had the one and only key he was ever given on him, so this mission would not be a problem as long as he could find survivors, and a door.

Not caring for whatever demons awaited him in the mist, he entered it fearlessly. Looking straight ahead, a number of the ghouls trudged along, and were now heading for him at a rather slow pace. Sighing as one of them approached him, the young man kicked the undead dog in the head, sending it back into its fellow undead corpses. "Hello!? Is anyone out here?!" The young man shouted as he tried to see any such survivors. Sighing as there was no response, he put his hand on his blade, and looked at the incoming demons, taking a few steps forward. Thoughts of the words of the elder Barthomeloi resurfaced in his mind, as he stared at the staggering ghouls. "Kill as many as possible huh... Whatever you say..." The half breed grumbled to himself. The young man cracked his neck, gripping onto the hilt of the Kurikara with one hand. Hopefully, the ghouls would be as easy to take out as the zombies he had fought earlier in the exam.

Before he could move, the sound of flames could be heard, causing him to back up from his spot. It seemed that the giant dog had made his appearance, causing Titus to click his tongue. "Hey! Watch where you shoot those flames of yours! You almost hit me!" Somehow or another, the three headed dog managed to shoot the Golden flames he had just learned about. Whatever it was, it was working against the ghouls and probably the miasma as well. He would do his best not to get hit by the flames, since according to Akemi, there was a rumor about the Golden flames being able to take out the flames of Creation. That rumor was also something he was not looking forward to proving. Shaking his head, the young man looked forward once more to see a wave of zombies approaching. Titus had no clue how many the dog and his master had killed just now, but he knew that there were many more coming.

Having gotten into a battle-ready position the small Cat Sidhe moved into the cloud of miasma before quickly running into his very first Ghoul. Given his speed along with the small size that he held, every Ghoul that attempted to attack the pea-colored Cat Sidhe missed or fell onto another Ghoul instead. Lloyd, who had gotten himself stuck in between quite a few of them had been rotating in circles in order to keep them at bay before sliding in between the openings that formed by their movements. Lifting his blade up, one of the Ghouls had slammed hard against the blade pushing him back quite a bit. When he had finally managed to stop himself, various Ghouls began to push against one another in an attempt to overpower the Sword Saint, but just as the force became to much, he lowered his arms and sidestepped the Ghouls that had been working to overpower him. As they collided with one another before falling to the pavement beneath them, he smirked underneath the gas mask before feeling his familiar's paws at the Cat Sidhe lept up and onto his shoulder. Not long after he could hear the son of Satan's voice calling out in anger at one of his familiar's actions. To that affect, Sirzechs simply snorted in disgust.

"I should not have to watch the actions of one who is afraid of using the flames that make him who he is. If you get burned or damaged in any way, shape or form, it is simply because of you're own negligence. You are in the midst of a battle, you should always be watching you're surroundings. You never know what might happen next. Now, stop complaining and start using that sword of yours." Blunt. Quite blunt, to say the least, but he expected no less of Sirzechs. If Titus was to, 'kick Satan's a**', as he had stated on various occasions, then the first hing he needed to do was learn how to use that blade in combat. The last time he had a chance to see Titus use the blade, he had been knocked unconscious by Sirzech's paw. Then, when it looked like he was going to jump into battle, the battle ended. Perhaps, this would be the time in which he would prove that he could actually unsheathe his blade. Otherwise, he was just an imitation Knight with no means of defending himself. A target that could be taken down with little to no resistance. Lowering his stance, he pointed Durandal forwards as his eyes began to dart around, counting all who dared to get close enough to he and his blade. "Go easy on him, Sirzechs, this may be his first time using the blade. While the blade may hold great power, him swinging it carelessly will not help our situation. Show me, Titus Fullbright, that you have what it takes to call yourself a member of the Knight Meister Class." While Lloyd may have said that, his familiars had already deemed him useless, Celebron more so than Sirzechs, but useless none the less. Increasing the tightness of his grip his eyes wandered for a second to where Sirzechs remained, and the golden flames that still licked the ground behind him. Calling out those flames undoubtedly pulled on more Qi, or so he thought, and while Sirzechs may have been a powerful demon, he had no intention of allowing his familiar to run out of Qi simply for the sake of dispersing the miasma. If it could not all be done by Sirzechs, then Celebron would take over and vice verse.

Running forwards, he brought his blade across in a horizontal line, cutting directly through the mid-section of the Ghoul before him. It dropped to the ground with a loud thud and just as another Ghoul stepped up to take its place, it was also cut down. Despite being cut, it still managed to retain just enough life to attempt to grab him once more. Stabbing the creature through what remained of its body, he pulled his blade out from its bleeding corpse before suddenly, his view shifted. A Ghoul had managed to grab him by the ankle and simultaneously lift him up and into the air. Now, before it could even think to take a bite out of his nice leg, he tilted his blade slightly before shoving it through the Ghoul's head. Upon being dropped to the ground, he rolled to the side before standing up again. There was no reason that he should have been grabbed like that. In fact, on a normal day, he never would have been grabbed like that. Especially not by a ghoul. Something was wrong. Due to the great amount of speed he possessed, he knew he did not even need to try to out-maneuver the likes of a Ghoul, but that also meant he did not need to try to avoid them much either. But, he managed to get caught, despite it only being for all of possibly five seconds. "The miasma, and even through the full body suit?" He knew nothing of the miasma he was fighting in, but it was apparently doing something to his mobility. Lost in thought, he failed to notice the Ghoul that attempted to come up from behind him and take a nice chomp. Fortunately for him, Sirzech's large paw came crashing down atop the Ghoul, effectively killing it. "You have my thanks, Sirzechs."

"You have no need to thank me, not yet. Our fight has only just begun, and their masses have not fallen far enough for us to begin relaxing." To this affect, Celebron lept down besides Lloyd before the sounds of his earrings coming together resounded through the area. Besides Lloyd now stood an exact copy of him, wielding a replica of Durandal as well. The cat like eyes of is doppelganger were a little disturbing to look at, but he would get over it. With a silent nod to one another, both Lloyd's took off running. Whatever Ghoul one did not manage to cut down, the other would cut down instead. Now back to back with his doppelganger, the two began to cut down each Ghoul that attempted to charge at them, bending between one another, blocking strikes aimed at the other, and using each other in order to avoid certain strikes. Likewise, Sirzechs continued to stomp away at any Ghouls that believed themselves capable of attacking the two while they were in mid-rotation. "We're not getting anywhere. Spawn of Satan, make yourself useful and unsheathe that blade!" demanded Sirzechs before stepping on another Ghoul As it stood, if the male did not unsheathe the blade, then he would simply devour the half-demon whole and spit the blade out later.

Cancelling his illusion, Celebron lept back onto Lloyd's shoulder as Sirzechs began to move around behind them. With TItus not actually taking a a large amount of them down at a given time, the Ghouls did not seem to focus to much on him or his half-demon presence. In fact, one could say that they had more pressing matters to attend to, much like Titus should have had if he were actually fighting instead of enjoying the scenery that was a toxic gas, cut Ghoul bodies and a large three-headed dog demon running through the area. Not to mention the Golden Flames of Purification which still continued to burn where they had been put down. There was no overall status on the miasma around them, and if he had to guess, they were no where near getting rid of all of it. Honestly speaking, he wished he had been placed with more exorcists who could do something about the miasma. If not that, then he desired to be paired with an Aria who could project a skin tight barrier around his entire body on. Without the slowing effects placed upon him from the weight of the full body suit, he was sure to move much faster than he currently was. Now, there was still the problem of the miasma and how it was decreasing his speed at quite the fast pace, but he would just have to try and move faster than the lowering of his own speed levels.

Lifting his blade to block another strike against him, he pushed back against the Ghouls before side stepping them once more. Once he had gained a proper footing on the courtyard ground beneath him, he performed multiple back hand springs in order to distance himself from the Ghouls in his immediate area. Surely there was a Fatal Verse he could try for the Ghouls, but what was it again? God he hated Fatal Verses. While they were quite useful in combat, if it was not being cast by an Aria it was simply a waste of valuable time in his eyes. But, this did not include the Fatal Verses that he could cast while in motion, or without having to chant anywhere from five to seven lines of a passage. Could he even remember that much if push came to shove? There was no telling for sure at the moment, but only time would be able to discern what he could and could not do when utilizing Fatal Verses. He could hear Sirzechs growling directly behind him in an attempt to get the Ghouls to back off, but having been summoned by the sheer amount of miasma in the area, it seemed as though their only stoppage would be in death, death that Lloyd and his familiars would happily grant them.

The half breed was getting pissed. A DOG was telling him what to do? Time and time again the young man was getting ordered around, and now a three headed mutt thought he had the right to talk to him as if he were a big shot... "Or maybe you should just AIM better!" The half breed barked in response to the giant dog. He pointed as he did this, and then grabbed onto the hilt of his sword as he gritted his teeth. "You wanna see these damned flames? Well no need to ask any longer!" The young man grinned, but one would not be able to tell because of the mask he was wearing. Turning toward Lloyd one last time before he finally prepared himself to fight. "Trust me, I got it. Just sit back and enjoy the show!" With those last words, Titus unsheathed the blade, revealing the flames of creation in all their glory. His tail came out from hiding, burning a light blue color at the tip. The rest of his body followed suit, and to top it off, two flames floated over his head in the shape of horns. It truthfully was the first time he was using Kurikara since he had first become an Exwire, so he was actually a little excited to be honest. He didn't fear being put on trial for the moment, as the Barthomeloi male had said he would not allow it to happen. Knowing this, he rushed at the nearest ghoul, slashing downward.

One. Another approached him from his left, causing the young man to slash at it in a diagonal slash, starting from his hip and ending at his shoulder. The next ghouls lunged at him from the front, and received a foot to the face. As it flew back toward its fellow ghouls, Titus walked toward them calmly. Sighing, he swiped his blade to his right, trying to get as much blood off his blade as possible. "Well, I suppose you can't expect much from ghouls..." The young man muttered to himself. The undead creatures kept on coming, as if there was no end. A stomp and another booming roar later, he realized he had strayed away from the group. Oops. The young man ran in their direction, and once he saw the amount of ghouls on their side, he leaped. As he did a flip in mid air, he pointed his blade downward, effectively cutting into a group of the rotting corpses. "Well, there's a bunch of these things everywhere! On that side over there too!" Pointing his blade in the direction where he came from, the young man turned and had got caught off guard by another ghoul trying to get a taste of his flesh. Not today! Immediately he batted the demon away with his foot, and cut it near the throat. After felling the creature, he could see more coming at their group of four. "I'll be going ahead." With no regard to what any of them had to say, the half breed lunged deeper into the miasma, slashing and dodging as he went.
