Gale had long since given up trying to explain anything that went on at Deus, and he was even less interested in why Sam had pulled Otto aside, since he trusted Sam about as far as he could throw her: namely not at all. So instead he remained stoically silent, reaching up to tug at the sodden scarf around his neck, which he used to tip into the only pool left which his rper thinks is yellow but is too tired to doublecheck.

GROUP DELTA - Kostya, Lucky, Peyton, Taym and Jason
There was a strange whooshing noise as slowly, but steadily, water begin to fill up the hallways, now up to their ankles and climbing fast.
OOC
THE MAZE: - Your characters can either choose to move TOGETHER, in groups of 2, 3, 4, or 5, or separately. If they're moving separately, you can go ahead and icly split them off. If TOGETHER, make sure you icly state who you're moving with, and then only one person leading has to roll. It means the leading person will find all the loot as well, which they can choose to share as they wish.
- Your goal is to find the EXIT of the maze. You can take a total of four "moves" at a time by rolling 4 6-sided dice. If odd you moved left, if even you moved right. You can continue rolling 4-6 sided dice for as long as you need until you find the exit.
- If you move 10 odds and 10 evens cumulatively, you find the exit! - If at any point you roll 6 1's cumulatively in all your rolls you end up back at the entrance again! You have to regather your rolls/ they reset. - If at any point you roll 6 6's cumulatively before your rolls reset you have found yourself a nifty set of Runic Daggers. These do 2d6-4 damage for 5 turns. - For each 3 you roll, take -1 damage from the falling and crumbling ceiling

GROUP ALPHA - Otto, Ami, Gale, (Sam, Charlotte)
"Hang on." Sam held up a hand. "I see something. Can anyone else get a better view of what's in this pool?" She pointed to a white pool, or a pool of water obscured by a white cloudy substance. Something glittered gold at the bottom of it, unlike any Runic weapon.

Exhausted, Gale made his way over towards the others, tucking the bandages into his pocket. He stood beside Sam, giving her a slightly suspicious sort of look before he directed his gaze at the pool she was pointing at, squinting into the cloudy white.
"Dunno," he said, and knelt beside the pool to try and get a closer look.

GROUP OMEGA - now with one straggler - Mimsy, Chel, Abbi, Stormy, Melvin and Dory
There was an unceremonious clunk as Melvin too fell onto the stash. There now were six of them in the group.
Just before anyone could really do some math regarding that issue, outside the windows there was a very loud clunk. Slowly the shadows shifted to face east. All the cabinets being re-investigated were locked again.
There was also a strange ticking noise coming from beneath the pile of weapons.

The weapons cache:
- Take your pick of weapons! They are all different shapes but do the same thing. You can use one weapon at a time. As long as you are in this room you have UNLIMITED WEAPON USAGE. All weapons are roll 2d6-4 for damage. They break after three uses.
You can also look around the room and examine it for clues!

Well, it was a little better than jumping tiles, he'd give them that. Weapons would have been nice, though. Still, Jack spotted the runic bandages and, without preamble, shoved Ian towards them. "Don't die on me," was all he said about it, his head turning to examine the halls.
"Looks like we gotta Indiana Jones our way out or something." He had never seen one of those movies, but the commercials had looked very actiony and puzzley and otherwise dangerousy.
"So! Who feels like finding the hidden switch?" Jack moved towards one of the walls and began to tap each slab experimentally.

GROUP PHI - Wilson, Rin, Milo and Sol
The shed Mark had rescued them at began to shake, violently enough that the only option was to desert it entirely, parts or not. They were now back in the dunes section again. It was around this time that Milo showed up as well.
And something was shifting underneath it, the sand moving in odd patterns. Occasionally something would rise, the hints of something arthropod-like, the hints of something very large and very hostile.
OOC
LAST CALL FOR WEAPONS DIGGING BEFORE BOSS FIGHT:
THE BACKDOOR
- You can choose to go out and find weapons or stay to pester Mark (which doesn't help him at all). You exit the tiny room and find yourself in a very narrow, dark hallway. You feel across the hallway for what seems like forever before you pop out of a hole, literally. In fact, there are a few holes to the left and right of you, the rest of them covered in tiny dunes. It didn't take rocket science to figure out where Mark had gotten his weapons. While INSIDE the backdoor closet area, anyone viewing on cameras cannot see you.
BETTER START DIGGING: - Roll 1d6 to dig for Runics. You can roll until you feel like your Hunter can't carry any more. The more you bring back the higher Mark has of succeeding @ chance of power outage. - If you roll 1 or 6 you get a runic item. It does 2d6-4 damage and you can use it for three strikes. Otherwise Mark will gladly take your donation - If you roll a 2 or 4 you get nothing - If you roll a three, the dune EXPLODES. You get blown back several feet. You take - 3 damage.

Otto gripped the runic gun as Gale knelt down near the pool. Ami seemed to have the same thought he did. Whatever was there might be trouble, or might be good. But Sam didn't seem to want to dirty her injured arm with this.
"It's the golden ticket Gale lost after eating one hundred Wonka bars." He sassed in a flat voice.

Sam rolled her eyes at Ami. "Maybe the Death Hunters actually have more acute observation skills then her highness. I'm sure that's the key to, you know." She pointed at the locked door at the far end. "The question is-"
She moved lowered her scarf into the water and immediately it began to fizzle and dissolve. "-Well that."

He felt drained and exhausted when he staggered into the room, Ian's eyes flickering briefly towards the others standing around. Dimly, he registered that Jack and Finn were here, and Cass and Roland, but he didn't say anything to any of them, instead taking a moment to crouch down, his head spinning. A dizzy sort of nausea had taken ahold of him, and Ian pressed his hands to his head, trying to sort through the ache settling in his skull.
He stood up after a moment and heard footsteps, someone shoving him rather unpleasantly. Ian stumbled forward, nearly losing his balance, and shot Jack a disgruntled look, though he took his advice and moved towards the bandages anyway.
After wrapping them around his hands, which made him feel only marginally better, the skin beneath them stinging unpleasantly, Ian took a small breath and knelt back down, examining the puddles on the ground.

Like an Indiana Jones movie, unfortunately, poisonous gas began to spew out from the walls. Any that made contact with Finn would immediately corrode a layer of his skin.

GROUP BETA Cass gave the others around a look before she stepped into the room - she was the most experienced of their group and even without Nicodemus she was able to walk with her shoulders up and with a certain practiced awareness. That likely was more of a result of 11 years Ghost Hunting without a weapon and just being structured with a certain reactive bravery from life.
"Bet you ten bucks if you find a switch that easily you'll lose your head to it." Cass said to Jack, glancing to him, "Though you can't give me ten bucks if you're dead, huh?" she seemed to realize her own fallacy there before she just smiled and shrugged, "Just poke it from a distance, if you can."
After so many times of walking in suspicious stuff (like liquified dead body), Cass took a second to Dip her hand in the liquid on the floor to see what it was

Poke it from a distance, ahahahaha. Because long arms.
Not that it did much when it came to getting poisoned.
Thankfully Jack yanked his arm away in time before much worse could be done, stepping back. Okay ******** this, let everyone else do the exploring for him.

He'd tried to escape, tried to turn and run when the glow swelled up and overtook the group. But of course, knowing his luck, as always he was too late. Waking up in the cylinders was a jarring shift.
Survival was at stake all over again. He felt his resolve narrow down to a single point, steeling himself.
