Amabael Personally I think I have to worry about witch hunters as much as I have to worry about werepanthers. But, you still didn't answer my question. What's so horrible about witches today that they need to be hunted? Its a prefrance. I mean why do people warship god? Why do people hunt deer? Why do psychic vampires feed? Why are we called humans? It just is, is all. We live with it and move on...

Do you hunt witches because your Mormon and the Bible says witches are wrong, or is there some other motivation (other than "I just feel like it")?

Also it is thought that even mormons can draw there legacy back to witches. Which I only learned recently... Another note some people are serial killers just to be that...

MrsBHavin why would you ask one if he hunts witches cause he is mormon? personally that was wrong... Well, he's not voulenteering any information, so since I'm very interested in knowing the dynamics of this I have to asked based on what I know about him. There are plenty of crazy evangellical Christians that hate Pagans, and some would go as far as to say that they should die. It's not an insult to him or Mormonism, there really are Christians like that out there and I was just wondering if he was one of them.

As stated in this thread I have not been a practiceing hunter for some time. Also I am not completely convinced on this whole christian thing either. History is written by the victor so whos to say who won. Some crazed horn god or the one the bible refers to as the one god...

Paganism and witchcraft today is quite different from what it was hundreds of years ago. What I'm asking is what's so terribly awful about witches today that there's a need for them to be hunted down and killed? And, are we talking witches in a Pagan/Wiccan context? That's all I want to know.

Yeah, but you're not the one who's claiming to have been a witch hunter. I was asking him what kind of witches are huntable, and why. If you know it would be really great if someone could answer my question. I think I'm being clear on exactly what I'm asking.

There must be darkness to quench the infernal light. It is what they do they are fanatics in there own right. I left cause of moral and legal issues. Also why do we hunt other animals to keep them from over populating areas but we dont hunt Humans for the same reason?

Also why do we hunt other animals to keep them from over populating areas but we dont hunt Humans for the same reason? Do you have a concrete reason? I mean, just saying that "there are too many witches" and "there must be balance" is not enough of a reason to be saying that it's Pagan hunting season. There already is balance. There is balance within Paganism, and there are already other religious groups that balance everything out. I mean, I don't particularly care for Baptists, and I think there are far too many and they are far too annoying. Does this give me the right to go out and declare Baptist hunting season? Does this even give me a good reason to go out and hunt Baptists? The only people I know of that proclaim to want to destroy and kill wicthes, wiccans and pagans are fanatical Christians. Outside of that I have absolutely no idea what motivation there could be. Do you hunt vampires too? They're probably more dangerous than witches. And werewolves too. They do lots of property damage.

They do lots of property damage. werewolves thats funny... Sure an outbreak of rabies caused people to beleive in them but still it was easily written away... Also if you had read through the whole thread you would have seen that yes psychic vamps are sometimes targeted. As to balance from witchcraft thats funny. Just cause you or they say there is does not mean there is. We are an arragont species. We see the world as our toy and to bend it to our will. Playing with the veil and weaving it in a pattern to better ones chances at certain things is in no way balanceing. Also not all witches die when caught. So you can continue to believe what you want. Again I only know what I was taught. Just like an orange is an orange it is what we are taught...
