Mairead walked down the hallway and to the elevator which would lead to the second floor and to the grand staircase. Mairead always preferred stairs but her gown would limit her to the grand stair case. She pressed the button for the elevator and noticed her reflection in the polished mirror door of the elevator. The combs twinkled but didn't flash and the gown just hung on her frame. The thin threadlike straps didn't dig into her shoulders which said much about the fabric. She spared a kind thought for Cowan having picked out her wardrobe for the trip. It had saved her shopping and all manner of chaotic mishap and public interaction she was not willing to endure for another political party.
"Mairead your shoes!" she cried running after her down the hallway.
Cowan stopped in front of her out of breath and helped her into her shoes just as the door opened. Mairead smiled and thanked her before picking up the short train of her gown and stepped into the thankfully empty elevator.
At the grand stair case one of the hotel staff approached her and asked which transportation she would have preferred. It was an option of an elegant carriage that was used to "transport" her here or a classy modern vehicle. Mairead looked at him incredulously, apparently he was serious. She normally would have taken her own horse but considering her gown it would have been highly inappropriate.
"The carriage, if you please." Mairead said, "And while I'm waiting I'd like to visit the stables and check upon my own mount if you don't mind."
"I fear that it is not recommended in your current...er...state of dress." the man said drawing himself up to his fullest height.
"I believe that you offer the best services for all of your guests and I do not doubt your quality, however I would like to see how my mount is adjusting to the new environment. Worry not, I can remain impeccably clean despite being in a stable." Mairead said thoughtfully.
The man thought a while before summoning a stable hand to escort her to the stable and see to her mount. They entered the stables in the back which didn't smell like a stable. It was impeccably clean and smelled like a garden as it was enhanced by flower bushes and potted plants by the window sills. Approaching her horse's stable she saw a tag of her name and her horse's name in an elegant silver script on a black plate. The boy opened the sliding door of the stable and lead her horse out into the light to allow her to inspect her horse.
Rogue had been showered with shampoo and conditioner and been groomed until his coat shone and he was comfortable. She lifted and inspected each one of his feet and noticed the hooves had been trimmed and polished. He remained without shoes, and could imagine the poor farrier who had tried to shoe him. He was probably limping around with a few bruises. Mairead also took note that his mane and tail had been carefully combed and braided and he smelled sweetly of vanilla. She found an apple and gave him the treat before having the stable boy put him back into the stable.
"He didn't like the farrier miss." the stable boy said.
"He's a little fickle, I hope your farrier is alright." Mairead replied.
"He doesn't like shoes, we called up to the room and a Miss Nyrie said that he doesn't need shoes. So we groomed him and polished his hooves instead."
"Good job, tomorrow morning please have him ready for the parade. I will be riding him."
"Miss Cowan informed us that you would be riding the carriage tomorrow as per tradition."
"I will be riding my own mount thank you. Rogue needs exercise and he can be difficult to manage even for an experienced rider like yourself."
The boy blushed and nodded his understanding. Mairead then tipped him and left for the atrium of the hotel. The concierge announced that the carriage had been prepared and was waiting. He held the door open for her and she passed through to see two footmen and one driver in a small carriage built for four. The first footman held the door and the other took her hand and lead her into the carriage. It was extremely luxurious besides the ivory white exterior the interior had large windows and comfortable seats, almost comfortable enough to sleep on. just before closing the door the footman laid the train of her dress on the floor and carefully out of the way of the door. She heard the click of the driver to the horses before the carriage was on its way.

The girl that had been looking at him stood up and joined her friends. Trystan only smiled to himself. She seemed to be interested in him in one way or another, but he couldn't help but wondering who she was and why she had been looking at him. But then again, Trystan was curious and often had thoughts like that. More than often though, he never really found out who a person was. But perhaps he should this time. The small group of girls seemed interesting enough to investigate further. If he could just bother to get up from the bench again. His height came with back problems if standing or walking for too long, so it was always nice to sit down for a bit.

Moa had fallowed them still thinking. It really wasn't till the car had stopped and she bolted out of it that she looked to see where they were. She blinked a bit and then sighed, when Aiden had pointed out to an expensive store. She looked over to Layla and smiled softly. She didn't know where to go because she had only went into a store to just pick up two extra pairs of cloths and a cloak that would handle the west. She didn't really go shopping so there wasn't much she would know about this type of thing.
"I don't know where to go.... That one there (pointing at Aiden's shop) looks expensive, but they do got wonderful cloths and this one (pointing to Layla's) has wonderful cloths as well for a bit less... I don't know what to choose." she said slightly blushing as she looked between them. She knew that they needed to hurry though.

Aiden waved Vossler's card up in the air. The look on her face was questioning why there was any debating on the topic. "The expensive one, duh. This is a fancy a** party. Plus, you gotta look good when your honeying it up with Vossler. Get whatever you like."
Aiden didn't wait for a reply. She was already walking through the entrance where she stopped, took a step back, and called for Moa to hurry and see. "What about this one on you? It's not black, but hey, I'm sure you'll look sexy as ******** in it or gorgeous if you prefer. That and you can get your hair did and mmph!"

Moa looked over at Aiden for a moment and then finally nodded as she then grabbed Layla before running across the street to where Aiden was. As she walked in she stopped to look at the dress that Aiden was looking at. "Wow.... I don't really know if I would look right in something like that.... I mean.... I am purity plain.... as a human girl goes." she said slightly and then looked around to see if there was anything else more simple, but couldn't see anything. (( You mean something like this?))

(It was supposed to be your dream dress lol.)
She frowned. "Your not feeling it? That's cool. We'll find something," Aiden went and held the door open for the other two, "but not too plain okay? Your too pretty not to outshine Vossler tonight. And Layla," Aiden's eyes brightened for this thought, "I mean Madame, I see it already - a charming young princess stealing all the admirer's tonight. Let's see what the princess wears tonight."

Moa looked over at her as she spoke and then thought. "Hum... Let me look around." she said as she wandered off to look at the dresses. As she looked around she saw so many dresses that she liked, but there was just nothing for them in her mind.
That was until she looked at a rack and stopped dead in her tracks. It was a dress that was deep red with black lace on the bottom that would reach her toes as tied around under the bust. It was a halter top with a lace rap of black as well that could be used for anything really. Her eyes looked at it as her cheeks fell deep red themselves. "How beautiful." she said in astonishment. As she looked at it she then remembered that she didn't have any shoes for this type of dress and looked around for something. That was when she saw some high heals that the store lady suggested for the dress that were black and open toe and wrapped up her leg in a cross pattern. She looked over at Aiden to see if she would object to this choice.

"Hey, if you dig it, try it on!" She commanded heading over towards Moa and away from a pesky sales associate. She planted an elbow on the closest dress rack and ran her free hand through the files of dresses.
"What do you think of this? It looks like your style." Said the voice from behind Aiden who turned over her shoulder, looked the silly item up and down, and replied with a big "Naaaaah."
Her style? Now how the hell would a stranger know about Aiden's style?

Vossler had spent some time to return to his own room to finish preperations and gather his personal guards together. They made their way to the lobby and spoke with the person behind the counter. After getting them to call in a car to carry Vossler and his guards the group left for the party.
The Lucidus automobile slowed to a stop as the Aesian people arrived at the party. As Vossler and his guards approached the party it was obvious that the guards were not trying to blend in. Donned in Aesian formal wear yet it was obvious that the clothing would not hinder them in a fight. The one thing that put them off was the masks they were wearing. The six guards each had their own special mask covering different parts of their faces.
The group entered the party and drifted around as Vossler waited for his date to arrive. He kept in places where he could see the front entrance at all times.

Moa blushed and then nodded as she then went to where they had said to go for the dressing room. As she did so she found it and shy said that she would like to try on the dress. The woman nodded and then moved her over the one of the free dressing room where she then was behind a curtened door and looked at herself with the dress. Her eyes were light up as she the at first didn't know what to do as she knew it wouldn't be good if she had worn her cloths she had on under the dress.
Taking her original cloths she set them aside nicely as she placed on the dress. It fit her really well as she tied the lace and let the rest fit around her body. It didn't feel strange at all against her skin so that was a good thing. She placed the shoes on to see how the fit and they were perfect. Though there was one problem.... How the hell was she going to be able to walk? She took a few steps without stumbling and then peeked outside to see a store attendant trying to get Aiden in a dress as well. "Um... Aiden? Layla?" her cheeks were bright red as her hair was flowing against her cheeks.
She was in fact in a very beautiful dress that she liked and it seemed to make her feel a little out of place from her normal. "Um... can you come here?" She wanted their opinions on it before even buying it.

Already, the sales associate had pulled and laid out dresses in the dozen for Aiden to turn down with as many polite refusals that she could conjure up. It was a godly gift that Moa would call on Aiden and provide an excuse to runaway one more time.
"What's up?" She said once she was close to the dressing room door. "Zipper problems?"

Moa shook her head as she slightly bit her lower lip. "I want your opinion." she said softly as she opened the door to step out. There she was in the dress and shoes, her cheeks blushed red as her red eyes seemed to move around shyly. "Is it ok?" she asked.
The deep red and black against her skin made her pale skin seem to shimmer slightly as her hair that framed her face matched with it as well. The shoes were the finishing touch even though you couldn't really see them under the long skirt of it all except for the slit that she didn't know was there at first that went up to her thigh. "Was this a good choice? Also you seemed to be having problems so... ya... did you find something yet?"

A moment after Moa had stepped out, Aiden clasped her hands like a proud parent. Unfortunately she didn't speak like one. "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah! Hell yea! You look great. Turn around. Let me see the back."
Aiden stepped back, giving a show that she was concerned with seeing the whole image of Moa standing there dressed to impress. "Get it! Get it and whatever else you need. You need jewelry for sure."
Somehow, she'd forgotten to answer Moa's question.

((lol)) Moa blushed a little more as she turned a bit to show a open back with a lace bow in the back to show it wasn't much different then the front just the fact that her back was shown and a beautiful bow was tied in the back. When she heard Aiden telling her to get it and mention jewelry she turned around again to look at her and blinked. She then went back to where her black jeans were and dug through the pockets till she pulled out a little box she always kept with her. She came back out and handed it to Aiden. "Something like this?" she asked as she smiled slightly. "It was my mothers."

Aiden suspended the object in front of her face where the item swayed and twisted slowly. The planes of object each had a turn holding light captive. "For sure." She said and gently handed the necklace back to its owner. "It matches. We can snap a few shots for your mother while we're at it."
