"How about a little later in the evening? Like... three-ish? We can meet outside the dorms again?" Rin however had no clue he wanted to ditch her from his plans. She got up and scooped her water and chocolate up in her towel and swung the bundle over her shoulder as she got up.

"I have pod duty. I can't. How about Thursday?" That was 2 days from now. "We can go then. I have Infirmary duty tomorrow and need to do some lab work, too." He wanted to go later tonight, probably using another trail in order to not come here and see her here, and then he could have the next day to relax and work. That way he would be ready to swim with her later.

Rin nodded, it was good enough for her, "Okay, it's a date." She immediately cringed, "I didn't mean it that way. You know what I meant."

Melvin put his shoes on and stood, slinging his bag over his shoulder before picking up his water and shaking out his towel. "I know what you mean." He motioned to the trail, showing he was ready. "Though I did get to second base already."

"SSsshhhhh," Rin hissed with a smirk she couldn't control. "That you keep to yourself." She started to head back up the trail.
