Cassandra smiled up at Lorcan. "You're sweet," she said softly. "Think that's what I like about you." She stood up and stretched. "You know how to make a girl feel good about herself." She reached up and brushed her fingers lightly across his cheek. "I say we take us a little break from all this studying and just relax. It's been a long journey and a very long day. I think we just need to relax."

Constance smiled at him and walked towards the door. When she did she turned back to him. "Well I guess I'll leave you now. If you want to talk or anything..I am just a couple doors down." She pulled open the door and slipped out, allowing the door to shut behind her.

Lorcán nodded. "There are swimming pools downstairs, or a Jacuzzi, if that's what you prefer," he said idly, carefully not mentioning the sauna as well, though he was fairly sure she knew about it anyway.
Merrick nodded, a half smile on his face. He felt a warmth in his abdomen that rippled through his body before he felt his fingers and hands itching. I get the feeling more than a few of us may have 'romantic' encounters on this little 'meeting', he thought.

Cassandra smiled widely at Lorcan. "Let's go for a swim. It's been a while since I have been able to go for a swim. If that's what you want to do." She found it highly amusing that they were still dancing around the attraction they felt, that they were flirting. She had never had a romantic interest in a man until she met Lorcan.

Constance slipped into her room and leaned against the door, taking a deep breath. The whole time she had been in the room with Merrick she had felt butterflies in her stomach. It was a new feeling which she found that she liked. But was she really ready for any sort of a relationship? She didn't think he felt the same about her...besides too much was happening at the moment.

Lorcán smiled slightly. "That sounds good to me; I'll change in the bathroom quickly," he said as he walked towards the bathroom, unbuttoning his shirt deliberately just to see how she'd react.
Merrick exhaled, shrugging his shoulders before he half turned, noticing the dart again. His hand clenched momentarily and it simply exploded in a burst of miniscule glass shards that seemed to vaporize in mid-air.

Cassandra watched Lorcan walk to the bathroom, unbuttoning his shirt. She grinned at him and turned towards her wardrobe. She pulled it open and pulled a drawer to reveal all the different bathing suits she had. Oh if he wanted to play this game with her, she would play. She pulled out a sapphire blue, skimpy bikini. "Well go on, change," she smiled sweetly at him.

Constance flopped down on her bed and stared up at the ceiling. She had kissed him on the cheek! She couldn't believe she had done that. Never before had she done that to a young man. She closed her eyes and tried to will herself to sleep.

Lorcán chuckled as he slipped into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Several minutes later, he came out with his clothes hung neatly over his muscular forearm, wearing a pair of dark green swim trunks. He had a subtle tan and appeared fairly muscular for being what most called a 'bookwormish geek'; the truth was, he could hold his own very well in a fight and held black belts in both Judo and Akido. "That shade of blue brings out both your hair and your eyes beautifully," he said with a smile.
Merrick sighed as he changed his clothes, grabbing a towel as he left the room. His five foxish tails faded away as he walked down the hallway. I'm going to see what kind of facilities they have here, he thought, thinking specifically of a sauna.

Cassandra smiled as she turned to look at Lorcan. While he had been in the bathroom changing she had changed into her own bathing suit. "Well thank you," she said softly as she draped a towel over her shoulder. "And I must say I like you dressed like that. Shows off your muscles." She smiled a little more as she opened the door. "Ready to go?" She hadn't expected Lorcan to look like that underneath his clothes. She was pleasantly surprised.

"Damn, damn and damn!" Constance sighed as she sat up in bed. It was no use. She wasn't going to be able to sleep. The only thing to help her get her mind off of things was to do the one thing she liked best. Cooking. Constance stood up and left her room, making her way towards the kitchen. She would make a cake maybe for everyone. She had the craving for something sweet.

Lorcán smiled faintly as he walked towards Cassandra, his dark gray eyes twinkling. "Ready if you are," he said with amusement.
Merrick exhaled as he walked down the stairs in a fluid loping stride. He paused as he saw Constance walking down the stairs ahead of him, looking annoyed. "Can't sleep, eh?" he said wryly. He cocked his head fractionally as his keen hearing picked up on soft footfalls, two sets.

Cassandra grinned and nodded as she exited the room and began to make her way towards the pool. This was the most carefree she had felt in a long time, and to be spending the time with her long time crush. Her hair sung light across her back as they made their way down the hall.

Constance stopped and turned to look at Merrick. She smiled a little and nodded. "Yeah you can say that." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I figured I would cook something to take my mind off things. It helps me calm down." She pushed her hair behind her ear. She noticed that he had changed his clothes. "I guess I will let you go about your business." She turned and began to head towards the kitchen again.

Lorcán chuckled before he blinked, seeing Merrick down on the stairs; he wondered if Merrick was thinking along the same lines they were.
Merrick shrugged. "I've been working on a special little dessert on my free time, actually. I haven't had much time to actually try it, yet, though," he said sheepishly. It took three peeled bananas, two thirds of a cup of heavy whipping cream, a fifth of a cup of brown sugar, two eggs, and a quarter cup of water. He half turned as he went on down the stairs, following her. He paused near the bottom of the stairs, sighing; he had never told anyone he dabbled in cooking himself.

Constance stopped and looked at Merrick with a smile. He liked to cook too? "Umm, well would you like to join me?" She asked as she motioned to the kitchen. "I am sure it is plenty big enough for the two of us." She really wanted to see him cook and see if it tasted good. A lot of guys she knew couldn't cook to save their lives.
Cassandra too had seen and she slowed down her walk. As she listened though, she heard him speak and someone respond. A small smile appeared on her face. So Constance was out roaming around as well. Cassandra pulled Lorcan around a corner so that Merrick wouldn't see them. She didn't want to disturb the two ahead of them. "Hmm, looks like we weren't the only ones to think of perhaps going for a swim" she chuckled.

Merrick blushed when Constance smiled.Fortunately he managed to keep himself from some rather... intimate embarrassment. He nodded to her invitation, though. He cocked his head fractionally, hearing Cassandra's voice. "I can hear you two very clearly, you know," he said with amusement. He had heard several members of the Dark Coven, before they had left for the meeting, betting on whether Lorcan or Cassandra would admit their attraction first. He didn't think anything of it at the time, but had bet twenty five dollars that they would admit it simultaneously at the meeting.
Lorcán smiled slightly, but jumped slightly when Merrick spoke, apparently having heard them speaking quietly. He was sure, however, that their voices wouldn't have carried further than a couple of feet clearly.

Constance blushed a little when Merrick spoke. Obviously there were others out and about. When Merrick had looked away from her, she had studied him. "Kitchen is this way," Constance said with a nod of her head as she turned down a hallway and began to walk again. She hoped that he would follow her. It was always nice to have someone to talk to when you cooked.
Cassandra's silvery laugh echoed through the hallways. "Well the jig is up," she said with a grin at Lorcan. She didn't seem at all surprised that Merrick could hear them speaking. She stayed where she was though. The bathing suit she was wearing was meant for Lorcan's eyes only.

Merrick chuckled. He shrugged his shoulders and walked after Constance; there was something he found... relaxing... from being around her.
Lorcán noticed Cassandra didn't step out so Merrick and Constance could see them; the only way he himself saw the two was through the mirror in the corner near the underside of the staircase of the floor above them.

Constance felt Merrick following her and she smiled. As they reached the kitchen Constance pushed open the large double doors. As they stepped in the lights came on revealing a large nice kitchen. "I have always loved this kitchen." She smiled and snapped her fingers. Music played low enough so they could still talk if they wanted. "Whenever they had meetings here when I was little, they always brought me. I always found my way to this kitchen."
Cassandra waited a few moments before stepping out from around the corner. She smiled over her shoulder at Lorcan. "Coast is clear. Let's go." Her demeener was almost like a child's. She was actually having fun. This was the first time she had ever let those carefully built walls down around Lorcan.
