Right behind him, looking heavily contrite, Freya nodded her head. "We wants teh be a part of yehr club! And we'll helps yeh cleans up teh booth here! We wants teh helps!"
Xiu deserved as much help as they could offer. Perhaps not just because they had a food fight in her booth, but also because she was taking care of Kettil so sweetly in the Big Brother programme. Freya couldn't help but appreciate that. Anyone so kind to Kettil, deserved all of the help she could give.

Now there were two voices the baku hadn't been expecting to hear so soon. At first, a flicker of panic passed through her mind--wait wait wait, no more food fights!--but then when she turned and actually heard why Kettil and Freya had come back, she found herself staring up at the pair in surprise. Slowly, the surprise faded to give way to her usual smile, and she let out a small laugh as she quickly shook her head at them.
"No, no, it's fine! You don't have to worry about the clean up!" She gestured towards the room, pointing out the fact that she had already cleaned up the spattery cupcake messes from earlier anyways. The sink full of warm soapy water--the one that she used to wash all the utensils and pans the passing students used--was currently empty as well.
Clasping her hands behind her back, she grinned up at the couple. "Thank you for coming back to offer, though! But wait, are you guys really interested in joining the club?" Her pink eyes grew hopeful, and she automatically reached off to the side to grab the clipboard with the sign-up sheet. She clutched it in front of her, the sheet pointed out towards Freya and Kettil. "I mean, if you guys want to try baking more things, we'd be more than happy to have you in the club!"
Freya snatched the clipboard up quickly, and nodded, signing it with a rapid flourish. "Ja, we joins! We will bakes. I don't knows how teh bakes very well. Yeh teach me here, ja? It will be a good lessons teh learns."
She handed the clipboard over to Kettil, along with a kiss to his cheek. Then she turned back to Xiu, her expression wry. "And we promise. No food fights." At least, not inside any of Xiu's baking club meetings. "And if we can't helps yeh cleans.. we keeps yeh company a little bit while yeh runs the booth. Is okay?"

Kettil accepted the clipboard from Freya as he leaned into the kiss on the cheek briefly and then signed the clipboard as well and offered it back to Xiu, "Yeah! Bakin' was fun." He agreed cheerfully. Kettil wasn't very good at it right now but he was always willing to learn how to improve his skills somehow!
He glanced at Freya as she promised no more food fights. Kettil made a crossing gesture over his heart and nodded. "Yeah! We are good at keepin' people company."

Vanya poked her head into the room and instantly her nose was bombarded with different smells. Some were pleasant and sweet and made her mouth water and others weren't as nice and made her head spin or her stomach flip. Fortunately; they weren't as common as the pleasant ones. Stepping into the room she looked around, a piece of paper and a pen in her hand.
"Is Xiu in? I need her to sign off on my scavenger card," she called to no one in particular, hoping someone would have an answer or maybe even Xiu herself would respond. She moved further into the room and glanced around at all the delicious baked goods as well as those that hadn't been as successful. Perhaps once Xiu had signed her card she'd have a hand at baking herself.
Having been wandering the school grounds for awhile now, looking for something interesting to grab her attention, Verusha finds herself curiously peering into the Cooking Club's room, along with Cannon at her side. Her nose had been drawn to the alluring aroma's, and now her eyes were eating up the delicious sight... even Cannon's nose was twitching with mild curiosity! Waltzing in casually, the ghoul took a look around the place, while Cannon scoped out their surroundings diligently. White eyes were drawn to the instructions that were laid out, as well as all the ingredients at ones disposal. Glancing down at her canine companion, a grin lifted at the corner of her glossed lips, "Well... how about we try and be a little useful in the kitchen, hm?" she teased to her pup. And so she started off finding herself a base flavor! ...vanilla sounded good!
After waiting for the oven to hurry up and cook the dang cupcake, Verusha busy's herself by licking the bowl that has remnants of the batter still clinging to the sides, running a finger along the interior. Hey, she was helping clean up! When the timer for her oven went off, she took a peek in the little window, before opening it up. Oven mits on, the little cupcake was drawn out, and inspected. Hmm... not quite fully cooked... but hey! still good to eat, right? Now onto the icing!
Well that didn't turn out too swell either! The icing was no where near being smooth and creamy! maybe that made it like rock candy though? Could possibly melt in ones mouth! Shrugging, Verusha went onto decorating, humming lightly, actually quite enjoying this odd little change of scene. Of course she wasn't really good at cooking, but hey! who says you can't have fun doing what you suck at?

ohman if you're still here, sorry for being so late. ; ; feel free to ignore if he's gone elsewhere or is doing something elseeee. *doesn't back read*
And so.. her 'masterpiece' was complete... icing and decorations galore! It... was a mess, truly, but surely one couldn't expect to make something grand and magnificent upon their first try and something! turning her cupcake this way and that to get a look at all its sides, the ghoul knelt down to get at Cannon's level, presenting the little pathetic sweet for a sniffing, "What do ya think, hm? good enough to eat?" she chuckled.
Cannon flared his nostrils to inhale the mini cake, showing really no sigh of emotion on the matter... though he wasn't particularly fond of sweet things.. Smirking, Verusha chuckled faintly under her breath, "Yeah... didn't think so." but lifted the creation to her lips to take a bite out of. It was... strange.. consistency wise... but the flavor's were there! so not a total failure. Nodding a little, earrings lightly chiming as they bounced against her neck, the reaper stood, "Nah too bad." she muttered with a cheek full of the stuff, turning to look at the mess that was to be cleaned.
The firedog, however, was back to scanning the area, gaze locking briefly on another canine of sorts.. naturally giving him a more thorough gaze.

Two more club members! And two people who she had grown increasingly fond of over the duration of this event to boot. Xiu beamed up at them as she reached out to take the clipboard back, hugging it to her chest. "I wouldn't mind the company! You guys are more than welcome to hang around here with me! Or you can try your hands at baking again, if you'd like!"
She then tore her attention away from the pair when someone came in searching for her. At first, the baku looked puzzled--that ghoul was not a familiar face, so why would she be looking for her?--but it became clear at the words "scavenger hunt". Aaah. Smiling, Xiu lifted her hand to wave.
Freya's eyes lit up when Xiu agreed to let them join. Once Kettil put down the clipboard, she lifted her arms and bumped forearms with him in a remarkably broski manner.
"Yeah!" She grunted, giving him a victorious grin. "We're bakers."
Not just yet, Freya. But good try.

Vanya presented the piece of paper - and pen should Xiu need it - with a beaming smile. "Yeah. Small natural form," she explained with a small nod. "Thanks."
Looking around the room while she waited for the signature, she shifted on her feet as she watched the other students at work baking. "Would you mind if I had a try?" She asked, eyes back on the ghoul before her. She wasn't really into baking enough to join a club.. Or rather she hadn't really given it a chance to see if she would like it. Always a first time for everything, right? And she needed to socialise more.
Forearm bumping his ghoulfriend in return he just grinned happily at Xiu. "We will hang out and maybe bake, ya."
He turned his head toward Freya and laughed, "I dunno if you'd call me a baker, Túkut. I'm more of a burner..."

Grinning at Freya and Kettil, Xiu threw one of her arms up in enthusiasm. "Yes, you guys can do it! Just a little practice, and you'll be master bakers!"
She turned to the newcomer then and nodded. Small natural form? Yup, hers fit that description. Grabbing a pen, she signed her name beside the appropriate spot before glancing up at the other ghoul. "Of course! You're more than welcome to try your hand at baking. That's what this place is here for, after all!"
