With a small swipe, he gave a little hiss, which was something he didn't do very often. The poor cat king was being a little frustrated with the whole situation.
He would have to go back to training - the best he could do was swipe away a few more feathers from the bird, but that wasn't enough to catch him again, tail thumping on the ground, eyes squinting.

He was done with that cat, furrowing his eyebrows, he gave a little pout as he went over and flopped over Sparrow, rumbling against the reaper about how stupid the bird was and what a butt he was for showing up the poor Cat King.
Of course, it was really his fault to begin with, he sort of continued trying, but for now, he wouldn't go near the bugger. Grr.

As Freya waited for her prize, she sneakily snagged one of the cute little plushies of the booth owner. Maybe she was cuddling it a little. Maybe. Kurmato ty <3 minipet! I technically don't have this version of the flamboyant so I'd be willing to try for that? XD OR WAIT JK can I take the consolation prize instead? LOL

Wren could not help herself, because even once Jack had introduced himself in a polite manner... he also then stood up to his full height. Fluffy cat man yes, but he was still a good half foot taller than her at least, so to her that made him a freaking GIANT.
Her face tinged a rosy shade, as she soon found herself taking a step towards Sparrow. She really meant no offense, but in reality she was more comfortable around him. Jack was still an unknown for the most part, so she would remain wary. She felt a twinge of guilt deep in her gut though, something she had been feeling as of recent when she acted oddly to meeting new people.
Soon enough though everyone was on their merry way... Sparrow doing his thing with his booth, and jack trying to catch...birds? He did not seem to be the only one either. The feline boil though seemed to be having a hell of a time, so she decided to give it a try too... only to be foiled as well. Huh?

Furrowing her eyebrows a little more, the red tinge from her face quickly vanished and was instead replaced with a look of determination. Sparrows little pets sure as heck did not like to be caught, she discovered frustratingly enough. She thought SHE spooked easily, man.

Wren pretty much was ignoring the whole world besides that owl at this point.
Unlike her actual wingless deer cousins, whom were almost entirely her twins in appearance minus a few differences, there was one thing that made them entirely different. Wren in her own right was a predator, choosing to eat both meat AND vegetation. For one, her incisors were slightly longer than a normal 'humans' were in this form, but not nearly as long as a vampires would be. Another such thing, which was something only those whom knew her would know, was she had regular cravings for meat.
So as she stalked after the bird, her movements slowly started to resemble that of...stalking prey.
Though Wren was not going to eat his owl, right?

Danny was going to say hi to Sparrow again, and thank him for the nice pin when she noticed a black orly sneaking out of its cage. Uh oh!
Well Super Danny was here to save the day. She quickly snatched the bird out of the air like a ninja and smiled, petting the animal. "Biiiirdy," she cooed softly. Now to put it in its rightful cage!

Apparently somewhere deep in her mind this relapse of remembering how to stalk prey, allowed her to actually catch the little feathered creature. Grabbing the owl, she ducked and rolled as she landed rather gracefully, her hooves clacking on the floor loudly. Looking up, she turned around and for the first time in ages... remembered where she was. Something that ALMOST made her drop the owl... almost. Taking the time to regain her bearings, she moved forward and headed towards where she saw Jack disappear to, and held her arms out from her body as far as she could, the owl clenched between her palms. The minipet was held towards Jack, her doe-wide eyes looking at him. The bird was a peace offering of sorts. Both to make up for her rude actions from prior, and because it was a offering from one predator to another. She did not understand catching the bird was just a game. Though she wondered why the heck the cat-man wanted to catch sparrows owl... "Please no eat k?" nerpin WREN SAYS PEACE OFFERING YES?

Hearing hooves clattering close to him again broke the Cat King out of his small sulking-fest that he was in the throws up, feeling a little sheepish that he himself could not caught a stupid owl. Turning around, he looked down at Wren, eyebrows raised and eyes burning brightly at the offering she had in her hands.
A soft smile broke his face as he extended green-nailpolished hands, wrapping them around the soft down of the blasted owl. He wouldn't eat it - it was one of Sparrows beloved little birds, but he couldn't say he hadn't thought about it. Tail flicking lazily behind him, he gave her a little bow, smiling openly.
"Thank you, you're very kind." He voice to her before placing his head lightly against hers and rubbing like a cat who likes something v. much. Sparrow was lucky. Wren was accepted by the big cat. Turning to Sparrow, he lifted the bird. "Take that!" He called lightly.[ This has been approved by Kuro and Lil Talked to Kuro already, would like a Pavo. ]

Danny tried to stuff the bird back in what she thought was its cage, only to realize this particular bird wouldn't fit in the door hole.
So she tried stuffing it even harder.
This was like the preschooler who tried to fit the circle block in the star space.

Yup, if she just pushed it long enough, the bird would fit.
No worries.

The chirping is what got Sibyl's attention. She was a simple ghoul; easy to please, easy to talk into doing things, very low maintenance. The student council wasn't something she thought about much. She knew of them, knew what they did, but it didn't take much at all to win over her vote.
Besides, there were more important things than votes...like this adorable churrpup fluttering around this booth. It was what had drawn her in, really. She wanted to give it a hug and pet it and love it and squeeze it and tell it that she loved it and they were going to be best friends and her name was Sibyl.
Apparently the churrpup didn't feel the same way. Sibyl made the saddest face.

Oh no. Sibyl was determined now. But the churrpup really wanted to avoid her.
Really, really.

Sibyl climbed the nearest stable object to try and reach for the bird.
Apparently this object was actually a random student who didn't appreciate being used as a climbing post, pushing her off and causing her to lose the churrpup. Again. Foo!

One. More. Try. She would try to catch it one more time and then if she didn't...well..
...She didn't know what she'd do.
But the churrpup didn't agree with Sibyl. It wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. She frowned, her bottom lip quivering. No. Don't cry..don't...cry..!
NOT COOOOOOOL!
Sibyl left. Dejected.
