A: OUT ((You search for the hummingbird’s friend in the trees but aside from some very confused squirrel familiars you find nothing. You walk back down the path to ask the hummingbird for more information but can’t find him anywhere. Not wanting to give up you walk back down the track in hopes that you’ll just happen upon this friend but never do.))

C: OUT ((You decide to poke your nose around a rock cluster only to feel something sink its teeth into you. You cry out, step back, and find a very pissed off snake hissing at you. Not familiar with local fauna you decide to go get the bite checked out just to be safe.))

If you chose B continue on.
4) You decide to go investigate some bushes to try and find the hummingbird’s friend. As you’re peering into the branches a tiny voice by your ear asks what you are looking for. You turn and find a bright and little bird with an unusually long tail flitting about. “I was looking for the friend of this hummingbird I just ran into.” You reply wondering if perhaps this was the birds friend. It smiles with its eyes. “So you’re looking to help are you? That’s good. We need the help.” The fluffy bird launches itself into a brief explanation of a mare collecting people for a little ceremony at the top of the mountain. “You should head up that way and introduce yourself to her.” It concludes with a nod.
What do you do?
A: Thank the bird for the information and head off down the path.
B: That explanation was too short for your liking. Ask for more information about the situation with this “fire mountain” the hummingbird mentioned.
C: “Is that it?”
