He was suddenly feeling very claustrophobic.
"Yes, I've noticed," said Gale, shooting a look at Dakota that clearly implied he had better learn to stop talking before he caused irreparable damage. The look turned into a full on glare at the "stifley" comment, Gale pressing his lips together in irritation - though really that was less to do with Dakota being...Dakota...and more to do with the fact that Rep seemed incapable of stringing two sentences together that weren't antagonistic and obnoxious.
"Get out."
The words were bitten out, Gale's expression hard as he stared at the redhead, half turned to face him, arms at his sides. It was unusual for him to let his anger even show, but now was not the time to play nice or act like he wasn't in the middle of something. "Get out," he said again, and there was a definite note of anger in his voice. "I know you're already completely incapable of doing anything that involves following orders like a normal human being, but if you have any sense left in you whatsoever, you'll get the hell out and stop antagonizing the subjects we're supposed to be calmly interrogating."
His gaze cut to Dakota. "That goes for you as well. Both of you put up or shut up."
Turning away from him, Gale gave Ceres a nod before his eyes flickered back to Mei, his thumb absently brushing against the ring on his left index finger. Marcus received a half glance, his gaze inscrutable before he turned his attention towards Mei.
"I'll apologize on their behalf, since I'm relatively sure neither knows how to do it themselves."

AWWWWWWWW Dakota mentally groaned as Marcus and Ceres joined them and sighed.
He offered a curt apology...
"Sorry babe, Parents rolled in." To Mei and grinned at Rep. Man, Yeah. Rep was ******** awesome. That was it.
Flouncing over to Marcus now, he leaned over to invade the space of the moon hunter. "I didn't realize that we were going to the towns..." He waggled his eyebrows.Dakota looks like this MOFO

Earwings perked up and the siren was visibly pleased as Madison called his name. "Hello Madison! And yes. Well a little shaken but that is to be expected!" Wings fluttered and he hopped over to the screen. "I hope you are doing well as well! It's not been that long since we last met and I suppose we might be overdue. There have been... interesting developments as of late as well as a few.. personal revelations about our kind and kin." He was excited bouncing foot to foot. "I am also pleased to hear Gale. Last I saw him he was a minipet. Very kitten like. I am glad to hear he is recovered." The siren paused, trying to peer past the screen. "He is recovered is he not?" Amphi's words caught off sire he giggled. "Mine is the avian kin but we do live by the sea. But it's possible some of the older tribes have remained in the clear waters and lack salt on their scales. I only now of mine and our... rather lager extended family." Quote: Trust: 70% Calm: 60% Obedience: 40% Approachability: 85% BFFsies 100%

Rep turned to Ceres as she addressed him, and looked her over with the same sort of disdain he'd just looked Mei over with, lingering only on the moon on her jacket. Moons tended to be afforded at least a fraction more respect than the average run of the mill hunter - this was why he didn't outright tell her to ******** off and ignore her. Instead he decided to tell her exactly why he didn't care.
"Well I'm Rep awright? And it was directed at you too I guess. You are a b***h right? Titties and s**t. So another living doll. Women." He gestured at her collectively. "But if you think I give the slightest ******** about you feeling insulted, sorry but you have a whole other thing coming. "
And then everyone was out to harsh his buzz. Deryk muttered something as he passed and Rep shot him an aggressive glare. "Got a problem nerdbait?"
Marcus' reminder got his back up all the more. He might have taken the advice in better humour from anyone else, but from the moon hunter it simply resulted in a snarl of "Three. <******** off Marcus."
Gale directly challenging him though actually made him pause, raising his brows. The snarl of Or what? was right there on the tip of his tongue. He resisted but narrowed his eyes. "I have as much right to be here as you do. I'm interrogating, just cause I'm not doing it in a la English midget doesn't mean jack s**t."
Still, he crossed his arms moodily, going from the offensive to the defensive. There was quite a few angry people in the room now and he was tragically outnumbered.

The moon hunter hit Dakota up the back of the head with his hand. Shadows or not, it was probably amusing to see. "If you apologize be sincere about it. And speaking of towns." He snapped the notebook shut. "Since you seem to need to burn of energy in ways that don't involve your d**k, you'll be joining me in towns to help set the houses up with running water."
Blue eyes looked at Rep. "I also need more hands to move the concrete and brick. Since you seem to need to be able to burn off energy as well, you can join us."
Marcus moved to the door, giving both the trainees a look of exasperation. "Ignore your senior's order one more time Rep and I trust you will not like the consequences. Come to the towns and work. I can at least promise you that you won't have to deal with me for the majority."

Overhearing a hunter talk so badly to a lady, hunter or student mattered not, shattered most of the work that Sasha had put in. "You need not be so rude," he admonished, clearly itching to do something about it. Quote: Trust: 15% Calm: 5% Obedience: 35% (+10% for female hunters, -20% for Rep) Approachability: 30%

Parents? She flicked a quick glance up at Marcus, whom also just arrived, and showed with a glance how confused she felt with the comment. She was not certain how she felt being called, essentially, One of Dakotas parents. Aka: would she have been proud of Dakota? She shook off the thought a second later, thinking too hard will only give her a headache. "Took the words right out of my mouth, Marcus. I think the testosterone poisoning in this room might be getting to them." She mumbled and shook her head, arms still crossed. Looking towards Rep, and how exactly he replied to her. She gave Marcus a look that said 'see? Men'. Rolling her eyes all that greeted Reps response was a shrug of her shoulders. "If thats how you see all Women, Rep, than i guess in your eyes i am a b***h. Do i think i am? Not all the time, but i can be." She noted with lowered eyelids before continuing. "Do i care what you think? Not really, i don't know you, a long as you do your ******** job i couldn't give a rats a** what you think of me." She made a note too of his own Emblem on his coat, Sun, he was the siamese twin to her own division. She would protect him even if she did not like him, part of the job. She looked around the room though, curiously, to see whom she wanted to talk with.

From her spot against the wall, Amrita watched the Hunters interact with the rest of her group. The longer the more nasty ones spoke, the less faith she had in them; it reminded her that the majority were nasty asses, and thus couldn't be trusted.
"Yeah~" She parrotted Yin, frowning. "Aren't you supposed to be nice to us?" At least, that's more or less what Deryk had told her. As much as she hated being here and as much as she hated feeling like a subject, she was somewhat enjoying making whatever little digs she could.

Dakota frown deepened and he waved at Ceres. "Don't worry Ceres, You'll forever be the best in the world..." b***h was kinda of a harsh word after all but...He still liked Rep anyways.
And since Marcus had ordered them to the towns, he went over to the Ginger trainee and cuffed him by the crook of the neck. "We're pissing the people off in here Rep. Might as well go build some s**t. Moons are good at building s**t. Bitches love moons who build s**t..."
"Hold up Marcus!" He moon hunter stopped in front of where Wash and Amphi were and tapped the glass at the mermaid, "Hey mermaid, try to be careful in here kay?" Was all he offered and then dragged Rep out after Marcus. Dakota looks like this MOFO

"Ceres." His tone was calm and slightly soft. "Neither the time nor the place." He understood some of her frustration in part, but from his view bickering here was just going to make things worse.

Deryk stiffened at that glare, and the first instinct was to go retreat. And he almost did, but he managed to stand his ground, glancing over at Gale for the moment, then calling Tooley out to appear at his arm. The blade was still sheathed, but he just stared hard at the bigger man. He was nervous yes, but h didn't want to back down. "If.. if all you're going to do is mess things up in here, then g-get out. You heard your superior," he said before glancing at Gale again, "That was an order right? Yes?"Oh god he hoped so.

"You leave her alone, too! Amphi doesn't need scum like you drooling down her chest!" Temper rising. Definitely rising. Was this what hunters did in their spare time? Mock their prisoners? "Touch me, and I'll rip your bloody legs off!" She was an expert on that, after all. With that said, her glare was re-directed to the red head. Freaks were they? She would much rather be a freak then arrogant.
"What--eewwwwwwww! Your disgusting!" She pretty much screeched out, backing away from the glass. Was that what some humans did in their spare time? Gross!
Raising her hands to her head, she cupped her ears with palm of her hands, just hoping they would disappear already. Didn't they have anything better to do then this? She could barely hear what was being said on the other side of the glass. She heard that boil Deryk speak up, as well as two other voices that were unfamiliar to her. Thankfully, none of them were poking at her emotions, or trying to get under her skin.
All Dakota go was a glare when he offered his 'apology.' Definitely not accepted! He didn't mean it anyways.
Hearing Gale's voice over the mic again, Mei lowered her hands, and quietly turned to face him again. "Thank you, Gale.." This..was not a good day.Quote: Trust: 5% (Gale has automatic +20%) Calm: 1% Obedience: 1% Approachability: 7% Appearance: Looks like this

Marcus got a very even glare from Rep. He'd been trying very hard to be obedient, to be pleasant, to make amends with people. But the fact remained that he was adamantly resentful of Marcus, that he refused to take orders from the other man, and was willing to take whatever backlash there might well have been.
"I'm ignoring my ******** senior's order so ******** hard you can't even believe it. And I repeat. ******** off Marcus."
Ceres got a smirk. "Good. Because I do my ******** job and I do it well. And will continue to on missions. Regardless if you have one too many X chromosomes."
Dakota, he was more willing to listen to than Marcus but he was adamant that he wouldn't follow orders from the Moon hunter if he could humanly avoid it. So he dug in his heels as hard as he could - not very hard given the cuff limiting his strength - and tried to fight back against Dakota every inch of the way.

"No," he said, warmed by her concern, "No, I'll be fine. Worry about yourself." He nodded at her admission of fear, and grimaced at her tale. "Yeah, I- well." If he told her too much, it'd put her in just as much danger as him. "I don't think I was around for that," he instead added in a quieter voice. "I don't think they want to do anything bad to you right now, Miss Amphi." He glanced over at the leering redhead and the darker skinned hunter. "Well, not the people in charge anyway, those two are sorta troublesome sometimes. I don't think they mean anything by it, just tryin' to get a rise outta someone." He gestured at the outspoken pair. That was, Wash reflected, probably being very generous. He knew the dark haired one probably didn't mean any real harm, but he couldn't say the same for Rep. "I was scared when I first came here too, to be honest. I've never had to fight a day in my life, yenknow. I don't think I'll ever really get used to being here, but it's more home to me now than it was before." A cold comfort, but it was something. Again, the subject moved to lighter things, but this time they were a little close to home. He sighed, and stared into the distance, almost as if he was standing on Pirate's Alley and over the sickly sweet smell of old streets and the sewers below he could taste the salty tang of the ocean... "It was beautiful. Yeah, the sea, it's a helluvah thing. Sometimes it's calm and beautiful, and other times it's kicking up hell." At her mention of shipwrecks, he smiled. "Oh, like pirate ships? Well there was one pirate I think we had around a long time ago, but ships have changed now. Made of metal instead of wood, very safe." He paused, to give her the chance to talk again. "Yeah, possums aren't exactly pretty to look at," he agreed, chuckling. "They're alright though. Very cute when they're little, in a homely sorta way."Dorms? With real seawater? That must be something to see! "That sounds interesting! How did they manage that? The water, I mean. It doesn't, like, leak out? Do they have to clean it?" He wondered if it was more like a fish tank or a swimming pool. As she indicated the boyish looking blue haired critter, he glanced over, a little surprised. He though sirens were supposed to be like, voluptuous maidens. "Oh! And here I thought all sirens were girls. Shows what I know," he laughed. Wash frowned darkly as he finally overheard some of Rep's catcalling, but he remained silent. Chastising him didn't seem to do any good after all, and Marcus seemed to have it well in hand. In a lower voice, he said, "Really, don't mind him. He's, well. He's somethin' else. He's just a prickly sorta guy, can't help himself. Especially around those of, er, a gentler persuasion."He gave the angry-looking doll a sideways glance. At least she seemed to have found an ally in Gale.

"Marcus i have this under control." She tossed over her shoulder at the man before he left. Rep and Ceres had come to an understanding as of right now, so that was good enough for her. Work only relationships were something she could deal with, it didnt mean that she and Rep needed to converse outside or even be friendly as long as the job was done. Only time would tell. Technically, even now, this was considered work. She managed to give the Red headed Sun trainee a nod. "We will see." She pondered how well he did his job though, because he was FAILING hardcore currently. The X chromosome part was disregarded, if he hated all woman that much he wasn't being personal. Just being himself. Either way she turned around to see the 'living doll' girl huddled in her cage, and even had enough sympathy to feel a slight pang of guilt. Even if she disliked the halloween people. It was enough for her to approach the cage, and press the button on the end so she can speak in to it. "Sorry about that, Mei. Mei is your name right?" She looked to Gale for confirmation before continuing. "...Some men are just assholes. Im guessing its true in your neck of the woods too?" True facts. A moment later she gave Mei one last nod before backing away. Gale seemed to have things under control here, so she would turn her effort somewhere where she might be more fruitful. Her eyes settled on a cage holding another female, no one seemed to be talking with her at the moment. Now that some of the men were gone from the room, she might just take up Marcus on his advice. Approaching the cage with Amrita, she pressed the button also on hers. "Hello, Im Ceres. What is your name?" Good to start off with polite introductions, yes?
