So impatient, Mine. Would you like to do this instead? the silver snarked at his rider. His poor lovely hide was all scratched up, and S'orl was complaining about how long he was taking! Typical.
Snarling, he finally turned his attention and claws to the younger silver now that Aerith had fled.

Ishsk (Ground), Attacking Calanoth
The blue big disappeared just as Ishsk was about to sink his teeth into him again, leaving the wher to stare at the empty space where he'd been for a long moment. Gone! He was gone! Victorious, but slightly disappointed, he sent a wordless query to his handler. The question was clear, though: what was he supposed to do now?
Bite another one! she sent back impatiently, prompting him to charge at the remaining bronze.

This time he could not evade, or even raise his arms. The whip tore across the face and he screamed, crumpling to his knees and swaying there for a few moments before slumping to the ground.

Another one gone. All he wanted was to go to his slumped bondmate, but there was still a battle to be won here. Take them down, then his dragon would be safe, and he could do what he could for the bronze's wounds.
Shaking his head and then blinking when his vision blurred a little the Harper come Rider limped over to where a young woman was fighting a wingleader. As he took in the young green fighting the bronze, he swept a swift bow. Now there was a pair with fight in them! "I'm sure you don't need my help here good green rider," he purred as he approached, "but the sooner we get this over with the sooner you and your dragon can move to the next battle!" Grinning again, A'nos swung his whip at the other bronze rider's flank.

Z'fer: Fleeing with Calanoth
Z'fer growled as the women teamed up on him. He wouldn't be brought down so easily this time! He climbed to his feet and was about to strike at Ralla again when another rider joined the fray, his whip tearing a bloody gash into Z'fer's already bruised side. The tall man hunched over in pain, hands pressed to the injury as he turned to assess this new enemy. Seeing the whip in his hand and remembering the humiliating defeat earlier by Kesin's hand he turned and fled to his bronze. ~ Cal, get us out of here! We need to regroup. Call any other's you can. ~
At the call from his rider, Calanoth reluctantly fled his two attackers, the safety of His more important than finishing off a weyrling and a wher. ~ This is not over young one! You have chosen the wrong side and you'll be punished accordingly! ~ A hard thrust of his wings brought him away from them and to Z'fer's side, allowing the man the barest of moments to grab the straps before taking them both into the air and between.
~ Mine, we have the Infirmary, Berath has let us know. ~
~ Good. Back to the meeting place first. We can drop in there later. ~

It was unfortunate that Acriculeth succumbed to his wounds but now she had Kloth all to herself! She roared as he drew ichor, the dark green substance staining her hide for the first time this battle. ~ I will show you nothing! ~ Her teeth flashed as she lunged for him, eyes whirling with the heat of battle. How dare he call her a disgusting mutant! She was as good as a Queen!

His allies were falling and fleeing left right and centre. He couldn't win this, now against so many. Just at the moment however he couldn't even reach his rider. Baring his fangs the brown struck out at the red creature again, hoping he could barge past it and get to his bondmate.
So focused was he on his rider however that his strike went wide. pay for this!> he snarled in fury and frustration.

Smirking in satisfaction as the wingleader was carried off by his dragon, A'nos turned on the Benden brown. "I am going to make you suffer for what you did to my Acriculeth," he purred, advancing on the dragon and swinging his whip at its face.

Opth: Attacking Kloth
His swing was easy to avoid and once again Opth found herself between a dragon and his rider. A rather entertaining position to be sure. Her face split into a draconic grin and she hissed maliciously. ~Can't reach your rider? Poor dear. Acriculeth's seems pretty handy with that whip. ~ She avoided the Rider carefully while dropping a shoulder to body check Kloth.

Kloth hissed as the whip cut open his face, but was just able to get out of the crimson's way. Bellowing rage at her taunt he flung himself at the freak, hoping to sink his claws into the foul-coloured hide.

As the two dragons completely failed to hit one another, A'nos dodged around in front of the brown again and took another swing at him. "Don't think you're getting away that easily, hidebound fool!"

Firith (Ground); Attacking Kloth
When Calanoth fled, Firith chased after him until he took to the air and went between. She flared out her wings and screamed her victory, undaunted by the bronze's parting words. She had won, and everyone would know it! She growled low at the wher who had 'interfered' at the end before turning to aid against those who remained.
The young green bounded towards the brown dragon, claws flashing.

Ishsk growled irritably back at the green dragon, and might have jumped at her if his handler hadn't cut him off. Fine. They wouldn't help that one anymore, then! Still grumbling his annoyance, he went for the smaller silver instead.
