Wow. How little effort did the person manning this table make? It was just a bare table with a banner slapped on and a piece of paper in the middle.

For that matter, where was the person running this table? He didn't seem to be anywhere in sight.

However, any representatives of potential employers who bothered to approach the table would find that the words neatly written on the paper were: Check your back. And when they did so, they would find a card neatly taped there. Ren was clearly a very stealthy individual.

It was a short nap, but that didn't make it a bad one. Once again, Matt put up his closed sign and started to slowly shuffle away from his booth. He was out looking for Westhor. He knew where he was. He could smell the stupid in the air. Sure enough, a loud looking banner manned by a loud boil stood proudly declaring Love to All. Or he had been. The normally sparkling young man seemed chill at the moment. "Yo." Matt called out calmly. "Doing well?"

For a moment, Vel was taken by surprise, and she also took Byrn's words in a slightly wrong direction. "Oh really? So you're gay? No wonder you never seem to take onto any of the girls' flirting," the raptor mused. It all made sense now, "Though, this isn't going to stop all the comments about your staff, you know." There was a slightly mischievous glint in her eyes.

How the jack did you put up a booth for being a grim reaper? It was a question that had bugged the hell out of Tex ever since it had come up. There wasn't much he could show off, other than a few songs he'd written, which laid on the table, and a skull, cuz, well, he was a grim reaper and skulls went with the job. Then there were a few drawings as well, mostly pictures he'd done of his friends, a few of them of May and Carafe.
The big blonde reaper glanced around, feeling guilty for his shoddy work when he caught sight of other people's booths. But hell, he wasn't planning on relying on objects, anyway. So the grim reaper pulled up his tall four legged stool and sat on it, making himself comfortable.

"What is with ghouls and their fascination with my staff? Is it the length? How much it hurts when I use it as a weapon, as it was intended?" He sighed, shaking his head with a frown, "Pyre here meant that I finally came out of the minipet closet... Yes, I like minipets, and I wish to work with them."
He paused.
"Although what... Rumors were there?" He had to ask, brow knitted together as he turned to look at Pyre, giving her a look of disapproval; he had enough of her help for one day, "I already do. He is alright with small groups of strangers, but large crowds such as this one seem to scare him."

The music echoed over the entire area, being played by the large reaper sitting on a stool next to the minimalist booth. A lot of people were drawn to him, watching with smiles as they realized that he was playing his actual weapon. They would even clap when he finished a song, which earned them a boyish grin and another song.

All the plans that went into the day. Trashed in a heartbeat. Tica was not pleased, it was like the bottom of her stomach just fell out A horrible emptiness that just did not want to go away. This was supposed to be FLAWLESS. "Oh hey Vivi." the crimson haired ghoul said sweetly as it hid the venomous tone that she really wanted to lash out at the ghoul that stopped by. "Shh, this is my ploy, this is all part of my performance." he said urgently to the ghoul and waved her behind the table. Course she knew it was all a bold faced lie, but Vivi didn't need to pick up on that. "A company is going to see how well i act and i'm sure to get a part in something soon." she continued to try and get the fellow demoness to follow along with her lie. "How goes your booth?" she asked quickly, but in reality, she hoped it went to pieces while shes was here.

The only problem with the guitar thing is that no one wanted to talk to him. It wasn't that they weren't interested, but if they made him talk there was a good chance he'd stop playing, and these things were drudgery enough WITH music, if they got rid of the music it'd be plain boring. So they would smile and nod and clap at the right points--then trail away to look at other booths without asking a single jackin' question.
It was enough to make the poor cowboil want to slam his head on the table.

With all the booth building, it was easy to look around and get some very good ideas at not only how to build a booth, but where to get materials. Kani decided to find some rather poor looking booths to put beside her own to boost up the look of her own. Everything looked better compared to something worse, and she worked on a simple, basic structure that was just necessary enough to serve it's purpose. She wasn't about to spend all damn day on making a box. However, she did take some colorful sashes and laid them over her booth to cover the wood and add some color. Then she added her posters and banner and was done. It wasn't fireworks and sparklers amazing, but it had the style of not trying to hard that she liked. Just enough to showed effort and that she cared. You couldn't go too crazy with frills and lace when you were making a Protection Booth, but that didn't meant it had to be all black and white. Bla!

Vivi raised a brow speculatively and glanced around again. This was all acting? She made her self look like s**t for some sort of performance? If that was the kind of performance she was looking to do... well it was far less than glamorous. "Mhmmm..." she hummed her agreement as if she was going along with it. "Well you're certainly doing a fantastic job. Look at your hair..." she tsked at she pulled a splinter of wood from it. Augh. Really. This was just embarassing.
"I think my booth went pretty well. I got a few cards," she pulled them out of her bra and showed them off with a small, gloating smile. "I think one of them might be a good place to start."

"Doing chill, bro," He replied, giving Matt a rather dopey grin before he pushed himself off the booth, putting up a "CLOSED" sign on the table, and walking towards the sloth demon, "Did you have a chill nap, bro?"

"Oh yes. Quite Chill." The sloth demon answered cheekily. His eyes drifted to the crowds of people still advertising their booths. "Just um.. what does your booth have to do with your future?" His dark gaze cast itself high at the banner. "Aspiring to be a whore, or are your intentions pure in nature?" Never not teasing.

[[Total: 18... MAN, one off?! VICTORY, we blame the pumpkin mask BI]] Victory had a belt of bells around his waist, a charm bracelet that seemed to jingle faintly, and an anklet covered in small blue stones and ... yes, more bells. That meant that as he moved, he was his own tiny instrument, and it was an unmistakable sound as he wove his way through the crowd looking for Avery and Ava. "Dear friiiiiennnds, where have you gotten to?" he called out occasionally, attracting some staring, to which he responded with a glowing smile and some kind of swollen pride. Victory was probably painfully unaware of how girly he was.
Upon finding one of them, he realized that they were right next to each other, and that Avery had done absolutely nothing to his booth. "It is... very rustic, Avery. Let me just... Ah..." Victory "snuck" up to Avery and tried to embrace him in a friendly sort of way... while actually reaching over to attempt to decorate the booth with one of his bell sashes. Not that it would do any good: there wasn't anything on the table to draw attention to. Victory just couldn't leave his friend's booth looking so absolutely ... well. You know. It looked.
"It is hard to be charming while wearing a pumpkin, I know," he said, patting Avery on the shoulder in a sort of sad It's okay, you probably didn't try at all, but I still like you anyway, way. Looking over to Ava, finally, he used his natural fleet footed movement to slip close and hold his arms out to his friend, offering to spin her: "And your booth seems like it must have attracted quite a bit of attention, my musical, dear friend!" Victory was trying not to think of the fact that he was wearing a pumpkin mask, because it smelled kind of weird and it wasn't... exactly charming.
