While the doll was getting up, Calder ran off to take advantage of this small advantage, and looked around for any other vines. What he found instead was a stick that had fallen nearby, and he ran over and picked it up. After making knives and sparring with the other horsemen, it only made sense to try and hit the mannequin. It only looked like a more alive cousin to the leather mannequin back at the crafting platform.
The mannequin came to him, rather straight forward in his attempt, but when it came near, it started to try and swipe at him with it's arm. While it hit him with it's wooden arms, he threw the stick against it's head, causing it to snap in half.

The doll came at him again, now that he was unarmed, and swiped at his side. It wasn't enough to throw him down, but that didn't mean it hurt. Cleaning his teeth, he wanted nothing more than to shift and kick this overgrown stump into the air, but that wasn't doable with the restrictions to the exercise. I can't rely on my Fear all the time.

The vines had served him well before, and while the stick had been frail, the vines were flexible and hard to tear apart. The search was on for another, and he turned back to backtrack where he last found one.
There were indeed others, and Calder found one that he hoped to tie and knock the block off of the doll once more. However, this one was not attacked to the trees above, and he found he had a long vine in his hand. When the doll approached, barreling through the trees, he glared up. This was really getting on his nerves.
Throwing the vine up, he threw his weight down to whip it hard, and the vines wrapped about the doll causing it to fall back again. Great!
Yet, just as he was about to pull back, the wooden doll tore off it's restraints.
So much for that idea. The doll ran to him, throwing it's arm and punching his side. Stumbling back, he looked about, and -....was that water he was hearing?

SWEET VICTORY! It wasn't water at all! The rustling he thought he heard was buzzing, and it became louder and louder. Ears turning about, he managed to navigate to the source, and found a hive hanging like a paper-mache fruit. The bees would not be pleased by the fighting near their home, but even better, if something should happen to their home.
Perfect.
The mannequin was consistent by sticking near him, and racing over, he ripped the hive by it's root and wasted no time in throwing it at the mannequin, making him an unwilling culprit in the crime of home destruction. It smashed on the doll, coating it in honey and a lot of angry bees. Calder made sure to run as being anywhere near the broken hive made him a accessory, and while he was being stun, he was sure it would be worse if he stuck around.
Done, he ran back in the direction of the instructor, but noticed the mannequin was not following. Slowly down to a easy trot, he watched his back, but still no sigh.

At last. At long last. Herryk had been yearning to feel the weight of a weapon in his hand, the heft and strength of steel pressing against his palm. The draugr immediately chose a sword. As though he'd done it a million times before, Herryk ran his thumb along the blade. It was cool against his skin, denting the flesh of his thumb.
Familiar, in some strange, gauzy way.
As he moved to attack the mannequin, Herryk fumbled. The sword was large and unwieldy - it would take some time to attune himself to its balance, but.. it felt so perfect in a way that Herryk couldn't explain.

A new day. Another class. Shun was looking forward to it really. And it seemed that his anticipation paid off, as they were working with real weaponry now. He listened as Cybele gave a run down of each of the weapons they could choose from. Now, seeing how he had been fighting with daggers for quite some time, it was natural that he would choose that as his weapon here.
It wasn't the same as his own, but it would do. Making his way over to the animated mannequin, he brought up his dagger, ready to fight. The manniquin was surprisingly nimble, as it struck him nearly immediately. The reaper wasn't too happy about that, to say in the very least.
HP: 36

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER! Keeping an eye on the Mannequin, Shun narrowed his eye before quickly shifting out of the way of the creature's strike. It was a close call, and quite frankly, if he hadn't utilized his skills from the thunder road, he probably would have been hit again. In any case, he moved in closer, cutting into the leg of his opponent. It didn't go in as deeply as he would have liked for sure. Moving back a bit after he had struck, he took a moment to take in a few deep breaths. Just because it wasn't alive, he couldn't let his guard down around it. As far as he was concerned, he was already being sloppy in this fight. He would not allow himself to be defeated by something that wasn't even alive. Weapons.
She got to play with something today. Well, to say she was 'playing' with it sounded a bit feral, actually. But she'd been wanting to get her hands on one of those weapons. Wrap her fingers around it, see how she did with something tangible. Then again, she was practically on cloud nine after her luck train.
No really. She'd made a nice knife (RIP, Knife), gotten a clean sweep of spars in. So naturally after having gained an affinity for a blade she did have some mastry in, Shehk didn't have any doubts in taking up the dagger for her weapon of choice, turning it over in her hands gingerly, respectfully. It was a very nice weapon, really.
Quick. In and out. Just how she liked it, she'd discovered. She wasn't a heavy hitter, after all. All she had to work with was speed, so it had been a natural choice for her.
Said natural choice seemed to be showing her how good it was of a choice when it came to actually doing battle as well. She stepped in closer to the dummy, her legs relaxed while ready to move again and move away if needed. Yes.
Move.
She liked the flow of it all as she stepped in closer, taking the jab, before she stepped back and away again before the dummy could counter her. It was delightful, really. She was finding she liked knives more and more.

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER! Her next attempt didn't go anywhere near as smoothly, unfortunately, wincing as she was caught somewhat off guard by the dummy. Which...

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER! Shun tried to keep a sharp eye on the movements of the mannequin so he could counter accordingly, but the thing made a move for his left side. He still hadn't adjusted properly to needing to guard that side of himself more, and ended up taking a hit in the process. "Kussooo..." he hissed under his breath as he tried to counter at the last moment. He barely scratched the dummy from what he could tell. From there, he crouched down, taking more of his usual stance, even if he was only using one instead of two daggers. He had the blade in his right hand, holding it up before him. Weapons. Roch wasn't gonna lie, he liked weapons just fine, and when she introduced them to the three types he was already thinking of how he would use each of them. But it was the dagger that caught his attention. His mind was already picturing how he would use it, feinting with his guitar than slamming up with the dagger, catching the opponent off guard. Yeah, he could get into that.
He stepped forward, taking the dagger and facing off against his dummy. The weight of the dagger was unfamiliar. He glanced down at it for a second before slashing forward with it. He barely scratched the dummy before he was ducking an attack. It was so light, he thought with a slight grin. Nothing like his guitar.
HP: 40/40

YOU HAVE MY DAGGER! It was unfortunate that she really couldn't take as good as she gave, as it was. Still, Shehk found that she did have to throw herself into harm's way a bit more to get another blow in on the dummy, hissing in pain when it caught a hold of her again before she wiggled back and away from in.
She didn't like pain. Not the initial stuff, anyways. The lingering bruises were a bit more enjoyable for the reminder of the whole 'being alive' thing she had going on.
Still, Shehk found it was probably a good idea to take a minute to wipe her palm off before she took up the dagger again, holding it firmly like the one she'd been playing with earlier. Oh Knife. RIP.HP: 40 Damage Dealt: 3 Opponent's HP: 10 Damage Blocked/Evaded: Nope Previous Posts: Post 1 Post 2

She could do this. Looking at the arms of the crude creature she was fighting with, she waited for it to strike out at her first, leaning back to miss the damage it was trying to inflict upon her before she struck out at it again. YOU HAVE MY DAGGER! Shun didn't get too much time to think as the mannequin made its next move, aiming to keep on the pressure. Seeing it coming at him, he rolled to its side before lashing out, cutting the dagger's blade deeply into it. After he had struck, he hopped back and away before the thing could retaliate. Where he landed, he continued to crouch, keeping his stance as it was before. He let out a breath, making sure to control his breathing throughout, and keeping his focus onto his target.
