"I ain't leaving." He emptied his pockets, only a few pre-loaded loaders remained for quick loading the revolvers. He reached behind him into another pack pulling out a box of rounds setting them all on the table he started to work loading six rounds per loader.
"Please. Clashes like hell. Don't know what that fad is with young folks wearing black and pink. Weird if you ask me." Slowly he stood up loading a few extra rounds right into Caine and Abel filling in where shots had been fired.
"Besides. Don't I have seniority over you Princess? Since when did you-
It was like hell on earth.
The soudn split his head in two causing him to knock bullets off the table as he clawed at it in pain. "W-what in g-gods..." He turned seeing them proper for the first time, whatever they where, they had something. Artifact? Maybe?
"K-kill the one by the portal!"

"You only got seniority on me with age, Wiz. We're not in the same division either so you can't really pull tenure on me. And don't you try-" the rest of her words were cut off by the sudden overwhelming chill of FEAR as the three figures emerged from the portal.
Whatever they were, whatever that last thing lingering was, Gabby felt her stomach knot and her skin prickle. She swallowed the lump in her throat that she didn't realize she had until that moment and finished stuffing the bandages into her pockets. Her whip was at the ready and wordlessly, she nodded to Jamisson. "Cover me."

Lucas had a rather bemused grin on his face. So it didn't seem like Mya was going to deck him. Good, it seemed like his preparations had been unnecessary, but it was much better to push away the woman before she got it in her head to destroy him. But unless he was imagining it she hadn't exactly been opposed to it. In fact she had seemed rather...receptive. She's been with that pansy for too long. Needed a real man to take control, he decided. But then Zoey was grasping his arm, pulling his hand up to fire at the creature. "At least your taking my advice little miss," he grumbled, "but whats with you hunter women and grabbing a man's weapon? You ought to get your own." He couldn't yell at her too much though, at least she wasn't putting herself in as much danger. But these damn women kept emptying his gun. Two-shots seemed stupid in all reality, but it was pretty reliable. Usually. He was in the process of reloading when three figures emerged. Cursing he fumbled for just a split second, long enough that two had went past by the time he brought his gun up. He wasn't careful with the shot though, and it barely tore through the edges of the shadow. At least it wasn't a mix. "Be careful with this one," he warned the girls. "This one is different. I don't care if you do know how to patch yourself up." He nodded toward Zoey's bandages. "You did a good job with that." That horrid shrieking tore through Aiden's mind. It felt like his head would explode. It felt like his brain was being attacked directly. It felt.. disgustingly awful. The young man dropped to his knees, holding his ears as if it would help any. Were his ears bleeding? It sure felt like it. He prayed and pleaded in his mind for it to go away. He managed to pry his eyes open in time to see what seemed to be the source. Oh No.. this was trouble. "Damnit..." After a lot of struggling, he finally managed to get to his feet. No more hanging back. He really should be helping out here. The tall man charged forward, slamming a fist at the shadowy creature. HP: 35/40 DMG: 4 Collective Damage: 15

For a second, Zoey thought she was experiencing a migraine; like one hell of a migraine. But the shriek wasn't something that came with the bundle, and nor was the dropping like a fly. Groaning, the young Death Hunter only just managed to lift her head with effort, squinting at the three figures strolling out. The white hurt her eyes something fierce, and yet she could not help but follow them - and feel the chill in the air suddenly seep through her coat.
By the time she struggled back up and saw that one of the things was still floating there, waiting for something, she had the skeleton of a plan: the same plan she always used whenever possible.
Still, gulp. It couldn't be the Horsemen, right? There were only three of them . . . Fear was close to descending upon her, because the lever of FEAR these guys were radiating was awful. Had the others . . .?
Not now, Zoey. Reeeally not right now.
"Cliff! Cliff, lasso this b*****d for me!" she yelled to her fellow Death Hunter, readying her hand torch. In seconds fire sprayed forth at the creature, and as she held a somewhat shaky hand in its direction, Zoey glanced at Lucas. "Bet s'time to warm ourselves up some more, eh?"
Action: Hand Torch effect for Zoey and Lucas Cliff (DERPADERP MY BAD), double damage! (0/2)

The next thing that came through the barrier was a bit different than the past things. Well, for one it was three things. Each was carrying something, and the one that remind was a bit eerie in the way it just stood there, waiting. In any case, they still needed to take it out. Something told him that it was extra important to get this done too. Also, he did have to wonder how things were going beyond that portal.. Julio struck the ground with his staff to form some barriers, again choosing a hunter at random. He enjoyed helping others. After all, it helped keep everyone alive that way. HP: 40 BARRIER EFFECT

Remy wasn't entirely sure what these things were with their floaty orbs and screechy wails, and she wasn't going to waste time trying to figure it out. Throwing one end of her chains wide, Remy felt the harsh rasp and pull of the rough metal against her palm as the chain flew towards its target.
Another solid hit, and Remy chuckled to herself as she pulled her chains back in towards her. She didn't want to allow herself to think about what was going on beyond that portal, but for one fleeting moment Remy couldn't beat back the resolution to keep those thoughts from her mind.
"Hope everyone on the other side is beating the s**t out of things," she groused to herself, narrowing her eyes at the monster that eerily waited outside the mouth of the portal.

He had just finished wrapping one of his wrists when a sound unlike any other drilled through his mind. Moore bent over double then dropped to his knees, but to his credit, when it had passed, he was back up on his feet in a matter of moments. They were not getting past. These things were not going to touch all of those people out there. He pushed through the fear they radiated with a grunt and socked the thing as hard as he could.

Mya had made her way back to the hospice to have her arm taken care of after the last attack she had launched, the pain having cleared her head somewhat of the rage she had been feeling towards Lucas moments before. And then suddenly, her anger with the insufferable man and his inexcusable actions were the least of her worries as her head was filled with a piercing, shrieking noise so painful that it sent her collapsing to the ground, hands covering her ears as she writhed around on the ground. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before in her life, and she was sure her head was about to explode. She could see the figures that emerged from the portal with eyes blurred by the tears that had formed there, unbidden and in response to the pain. As two of the figures swept by, she began to shiver and shake, her body swept over with a chill that seemed to settle deep into her bones. And then they were gone, and only one remained. She gazed at it, dark eyes wide as she struggled to regain her footing. Once to her feet she stumbled towards Lucas. Why she chose to go back to him...she couldn't say. Instinct, perhaps? She knew that no matter what petty problems the two of them shared, he would have her back and would try his damndest not to let her get herself killed. She'd learned this from missions they'd done together in the past, and while their personalities had always clashed, he'd always proven himself to be one of the best at keeping himself alive in a very dangerous situation, and she had to respect that. When she reached his side, she nodded at the other girl, her gaze sweeping her over appraisingly. Zoey, she thought her name was. She remembered her from the cafeteria. So far she had proven to be worth her salt in this battle. "Lucas.." She said his name as she breathed out, her eyes locking on the enemy. "I'm going to need to borrow your gun again." She reached her hand out and grabbed it from him, taking aim, and shooting off another round. She winced from the pain in her shoulder as the gun recoiled into her newly bandaged wound. "Remind me to get myself one of these sometime...if I'm alive when this is all through." My HP: 35/40 Damage: 6 Collective Damge: 47

His heart froze in his chest as those things came through. Alexi's heart wouldn't stop pounding, and for once he wished to GOD he knew how to fight. Taking his dagger in hand, he backed up, watching the other hunters staring at this thing as well. Like hell he was going to try to attack it. Eventually, he'd understand the mechanics of it....and soon enough he'd have a way to attack without dying...or he hoped that. Looking around, he wondered if there was someone he could team with. Someone had to-. But his thoughts were stopped as the two....THINGS brushed past him. Ice ran up his spine, and his gaze nearly rolled back as he felt something he'd never truly known in this intensity. FEAR. Terrified and horrified. Oh gods, this was what it meant to be afraid, wasn't it? This was what it meant to truly know that somehow soon, you were going to die. Whatever this thing was...these things...they were something that could kill him, and that knowledge in and of itself had the male paralyzed. Who wanted to DIE after all?! Alexi sure as hell didn't, but there was one thing he knew....he wasn't going to run....
He'd find someone....Provide them a Barrier. MAYBE they'd have a chance at surviving this suicide.

TARGETING A THING A very helpful buff came from a familiar hunter across the way with the face of a womanizer. Dylan was grateful and flashed him a crooked-tooth smile out of gratitude-
'Thank yuh-' he mouthed then proceeded to bring down his chains on one of the specters.
Keeping Julio's face in mind (well, as with many of the others too) Dylan would be quicker to sacrifice his bandages for someone else rather than spoil them on himself.HP: 40/40 (barrier in effect 1/2 turns) DMG: 15

Pulling his sword staff from the ground, Julio readied his weapon. With a grin, he nodded to Dylan in response to the thanks, then moved towards the target. As he drew near, he just lunged out at it, not getting too close just yet. Since it looked rather different, he was taking a little bit of caution with this one. For now at least.
"I don't suppose you'd mind handing over the glowy object of yours, hm?" he asked it, not expecting much of an answer.

Watching as two of the fearsome creatures passed she froze slightly. There was for to much of a chill to the air there was no way he was going to attack without some form of backup, Noticing the rainbow haired hunter she had seen earlier she walked over not saying much of anything he looked like he had no real attack weapons on him perhaps they would make a good team her attacking and him defending, they would hopefully have some chance for survival. "We could work together?" She was short and to the point no need for and unnecessary comment's or chatting.

"Well I care. But . . . thanks." Surprisingly, despite the fact that this was most obviously a boss among bosses, a lieutenant or some sort of hideous equivalent - and somehow Zoey's old self was being drawn out because of it. Did she think she was going to die soon? No, but you could bet she thought that getting too reckless certainly wouldn't help. "You guys got something to buff with?" she asked Mya and Lucas, smiling a little as Mya took her turn with Lucas's gun. Zoey knew she only had a little time before Cliff did what Cliff did and, hopefully, initiate Plan Bacon.
Why Plan Bacon? Because they both liked bacon. Who didn't like bacon? Plan Bacon was a plan that couldn't go wrong because it was already so right.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a stiff with fright figure holding out a runic dagger, and Zoey raised a brow as if assuming the guy had also heard her question and was now expecting an answer. "Look sharp!"

(late entrance, haha 8D; )
Profe held his hand to his head, trying to drown out the sound. His glasses fell, but Profe barely noticed it, his vision blurring as he thought that his head would burst. Eventually, a feeling -- an anxious feeling overwhelmed him amidst the pain, causing him to look up. "Three figures?" He asked himself. That wasn't fair, was it?
Catching sight of Andy and Caelius from his position, Profe grasped on the floor for his glasses. Well, he couldn't lose now, certainly. Tucking away the frames into his labcoat, it was an indicate that Profe was serious. Jumping down, he held out both hands to highfive Caelius and Andy in a tagteam. "Three of them, and only two of you." Of course, he wasn't just ignoring the other hunters. But in his equation, they simply did not matter. "Sorry I'm late." His tone sounded careless as if the apology rang insincere -- or was it simply his light-hearted personality? "Why don't I join you to even the odds?"
"After all, Miss Andy," He let his gaze rake over her bleeding body, not in a manly interested way but scientifically interested -- as if she were a specimen that he admired, "I'd hate to see your beautiful face get marred any more." He grinned at both of them. It was hard to take him seriously since they might die soon in the near battle.
