 As soon as they reached the terrace, John twirled her around playfully. He stopped, looking deep into her eyes. "Keira, I love you. All I do, I do for you. You know that, don't you?" He leaned against the rail, pulling her to him gently and kissing her softly. "I know you probably feel a bit used; the colonel told me as much. I just want you to be safe - to live. I can't imagine a world where you don't exist. And I don't want to." He held her close, stroking her hair, and waited for her to speak.

 Keira laughed as he twirled her around until finally she was staring back at him. She smiled as he said he loved her then kissed her gently. She rubbed his cheek as he then hugged her close. She looked up at him as she slightly pulled away to look at him. She stroke his cheek, "He was right. I did feel used and slightly unloved. My emotion were mixed as I love you but also felt like you didn't. I remembered when we first met you told me you didn't like human emotions." She smiled gently at him. "As a human I live and one day I will die. However I would die inside if you died in my place John because you have my heart and no one else do. It will always ne you. I know you love me because I love you."

John's heart beat uncomfortably in his chest as he knelt in front of Keira. "I know it may seem strange, but I want to feel the joy that humans feel. I want these emotions now. Keira... will you do me the honor of accepting me as your husband?"

Keira's heart felt like it stopped as she saw him kneal down. She blushed as he asked the question. Keira looked at him at the moment and then knealed down and kissed him deeply. "On some conditions, I want you to be the farther of my children, I want you to be by myside so I can grow old with you. I want to be with you."

John sighed and looked down at the ground momentarily. Finally, he looked back into her eyes. "I promise you, if there is a way for me to live, I will find it. And when I do, I will father your children and be by your side until the day I die." He pulled the ring from his pocket and offered it up to her. "May I place this ring upon your hand as a token of my intentions to wed you, Keira Hatake?"

Keira smiled as she kissed him again. "Yes John you can because I am holding you to your words. But no blood bond. I refuse to take it, I only will when you return to me, alive."

John cringed when Keira refused to make the blood bond. With a sigh, he let it go; he'd cross that bridge when it came time. He smiled in genuine happiness, leading her into the ballroom through the west entrance. Everyone was waiting, facing the entrance. With a cheer, they raised their glasses and drank to the young couple's health. When at last the dancing continued, John pulled Keira close. "All of this," he said, motioning to the ball, "Was for you - for us - our engagement party. Does this make you happy," he asked with mild concern. "I don't want to overwhealm you..."

Keira smiled and blushed as they made their way in. She was suprised to see so.many guest raise their glasses to them as she didn't realize this ball was.for them. She just thought it was a ball. And finally the last danve came and she was happy to be taken from the crowd of people congradulating her. She was happy as John and her danced the last dance until he finally spoke. She had to laugh at him. "You my fair fiancee are a cheater. You had this all planned and yet I thought this was a ball but welcome home my love." In the back of her mind she knew he had to leave but she didn't want him too.

Geren woke up in the streets with a splitting headache. He could vaguely remember what had happened the night before. He was in a bar fight when a man broke a wooden chair over his head. Geren checked his pockets and found that all his money had been taken from him. With a crack of his back, Geren got up and went to find his shipmates.

John smiled. "So, my bride-to-be, it seems that you and I have a wedding to plan. And... a lot of shopping to do. Dresses, cakes, exotic foods..." He smiled warmly at her. "I've quite a lot of money saved up. You can buy whatever you like, my love." He kissed her, dipping her backward. "I'll give you the world."

Keira wrapped her arms around his neck and got on her tippy toed and kissed him. "Well my dear husband -to-be its a good thing I won't be doing this alone or else I will be utterly lost. But I am not going to marry you for your money, I am marring you because I love you." She spoke the truth as she smiled. "Besides my soon to be dad will help me too because I honestly am going to be swamp with picking so manythings including seeing millions of dresses. Oh goodness.what am I ever going to do." She said playfully as she looked at him as he dipped her back and kissed her. "I love you and in the entire world huh? How about just you." She looked at him in the eyes and smiled.

John's heart soared. He could never remember being so happy. He looked out across the room; the colonel caught his eye and raised his glass in salute. Looking down at Keira, he whispered "I love you so much." When he glanced back up, the colonel was nowhere to be seen.

Keira smiled as John brough her up. She kissed him as she looked around. "So my love what do we do next. Ummm I don't want to sound odd but how long do these ball last?"
