Rebecca immediately jumped when she heard the girls voice that she had scanned before. “No nothing is wrong,” Rebecca said nervously and turned off her scan. “I was admiring your outfit. I like it.” She quickly put her hand over Iago's mouth in order to stop the bird from commenting out of habit. “Please excuse my rudeness, my name is Rebecca.” Rebecca explained to the other girl and walking to her, “If it is alright, may I ask for your name?”

“…my… outfit?” and easy excuse but it wouldn’t an unreasonable one- Shion stick to the dress code and combined it with a decent amount of armor- she figured being ready for anything was a good way to approach the day. She was rarely seen in anything else.
“ I see-well thank you.” She did take time to make sure her gauntlets were shiny and clean.
When the girl approached her Shion looked between her and the Iago-whose beak was pinched shut. Couldn’t decide if it was because she silencing him on purpose- or by habit... his voice indeed very grating on the ears.
“Shion, Shin Gale. Fourth year.” Came her answer-“ and you?”

“I'm a second year.” Rebecca replied and pointed one finger down to the bird. “That is Iago, my Gallent, Iago. Iago I will let go of your mouth if you don't embarrass me okay?” Rebecca, taking a risk, let go out of bird's mouth and watched Iago fly around like mad.
“Thank god!” Iago landed on the table next to Shion and dramatically breathed. He turned towards Rebecca and immediately glared at her. “Why I ought a put my wing over your mouth sometime.”
“Would you rather I put a salty cracker in your mouth? Hmm...?” Rebecca snickered as Iago shut his mouth at that before staring at Shion and her armor.
“That armor looks shiny.” Iago commented and flew closer to see it. “Is it worth a lot?”

“Rebecca and Iago huh?”
They seemed like complete opposites- the girl gave off a more timid and reserved disposition then her outspoken gallant- and perhaps it was for the better. Conflicting personalities can benefit eachother form exposure – if the three fairies taught her anything.
The bird had the attitude of a street peddler with his fascination for her armor- then again if he was parrot he could just be naturally attracted ot shiney things-… like a crow.
“ I suppose when it comes ot armor it’s overall value depends on who uses it. If you’re interested in it just being shiny you could easily buy a suit of junk.. but if you care for quality-..like I do.” She paused and smoothed out her skirts a little more- “then I suppose it’s a fair amount. It’s assemblage took a few years in traverse town before it was finished. The metal is tempered and flexible for movement- I’d say it fetch a good price but it’s not as flashy as some others I’ve seen around this school.”
Turning her attention back to Rebecca and her gallant she reached for her plate and then offered-“ Muffin?”

{Zack .:. Kingdom Academy .:. Dining Hall}
With a huge stretch and even huger yawn, Zack wandered into the dining hall, looking around for breakfast. He'd slept in, which was nice, except that he missed the usual breakfast crowd, which meant he'd probably be bored with no one to talk to. Timon scampered along behind him, keeping pace easily since Zack was dragging his feet.
"Ya know," the meerkat said, leaning up against Zack's leg as the young man paused and surveyed the room, "They really oughta schedule things better. I mean breakfast doesn't even last long enough for folks to get a good night's sleep! Man, I'm starved. Hope there's some grub."
"There should be, Timon," Zack replied, running his hands through his hair. "They've never let us go hungry before. Oh, hey, people!" Immediately Zack perked up upon seeing the two girls, and strode directly over to them, leaving poor Timon scrambling to keep up.
"Good morning, ladies," Zack said, puffing out his chest a little and giving them his most charming smile.

“Thank you.” Rebecca smiled as she took the muffin from Shion before breaking off a piece and shoving it into Iago's mouth. “He just likes things worth a lot of value.” Rebecca paused as she took a moment to remember something.
“If you don't mind,” Rebecca started this off cautiously, “I do have two questions. First, you seem a little small to be wearing that type of armor. Not that there is anything wrong with that of course. I am just used to hearing about big men wearing giant armor from my studies. On my world we didn't have armor either. I am just wondering why you wear that armor. Second, who is your Gallent? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I am just curious.”
Rebecca took her eyes off of Shion for a second to see someone walk into the dining hall. She made sure this time to be quick and activated her Scan on both the human, and creature entering. She gave a quiet wave before focusing back on Shion.

The moment didn’t last long while Shion held the muffin aloft for Rebecca’s answer when a loud yawn announced yet another entry into the room. Catching the tail end of “- hey, people!” she turned around after Rebbecca took the food and fed some to the squawker- in time to see Zack some striding up with them with his big goofy grin.
Shion hadn’t had the pleasure of dueling this person personally, but she was familiar with his face having passed in during spare training, or sharing some classes concerning sword mechanics and strategies. Couldn’t remember his name entirely- something with an X? Or a Z?
Whatever Rebbecca had meant to ask- she finally remember and Shion glanced away from the newcomer her brow raising a little in regards to her questions.
He was standing right across from them when she tried to come up with an answer- "Good Morning," she said not wanting to be rude "slept in I guess then hm?" she murmured still contemplating an answer...
It wasn’t like she took offence or anything, the girl meant no harm. Still.
“I suppose I wear this armor because it helps to be prepared. My size is no excuse for me ot be a slacker. My classes specialize in hand to hand combat so if I’m not studying I’m sparing- no reason to take off everything unless you’re covered in sweat I guess.”
She side glanced back to the other student- he seemed older by a few more years- higher than her grade if she wasn’t mistaken-
“As for myy gallant-hi Timone” she recognized the meerkat-“ I’m guided by the Three Good Fairies. Fauna, Flora and Merry Weather.” After that answer she looked somewhat cautiously between them, wondering if they knew them, and if so- where they were from.
Shion never really talked to anyone about where she was from, and as far as official records where concerned- she was just a refugee from Traverse town.

Zack laughed and scratched the back of his head sheepishly, Timon scampering up and coming to sit on his shoulder.
"Yeah, I kinda wore myself out with some training after getting moved back into my dorm yesterday," he admitted before shoving his hands in his pockets and flopping himself down in the seat next to Shion. He reached to one of the serving dishes on the table and grabbed a soufflé. "I see you're up and chipper as usual." After taking a bite of the soufflé, he looked over to the kid and stuck out his hand. "Hi. I'm Zack. My buddy here is Timon. Nice to meetcha."

“Ah. So you spar a lot.” Rebecca mentally noted everything Shion said and smiled. “I honestly don't get a lot of practice in combat besides what Professor Terra has taught me. I do well...in other area's.” Deciding to leave what she is before remembering Shion's Galiant.
“I have never heard of them to be honest.” Rebecca admitted. “They sound pretty cool. Although I can only deal with one Galiant. I mean look at Iago.” Rebecca pointed to the bird. “If I had 3 Iago's I think I would go mad.”
“Why I ought a-” Iago spoke before Rebecca shoved another small piece of a muffin into his mouth.
Rebecca then looked over to the man who came over to sit with them and shook his hand. “Hello, my name is Rebecca and my 'buddy' is Iago, the bird currently trying to eat part of the muffin I gave him.” Rebcca quickly glared at Iago before focusing back on Zack. “I think I saw a glimpse of you last year. You seem like you are really... muscular? I guess that explains training.” Rebecca cut herself from talking more and saying something that is more awkward.

“- as usual.” She admitted to him. Shion was an early riser alright, up at the crack of dawn, and already running laps on the tracks outside.
“That will happen I suppose- and a well-rested student is a productive one- just try not to miss out on important announcements. “She said making room for the much larger, taller male to sit down next to her.
Rebecca remarked on her answer and Shion shrugged- “I suppose that’s true- and the sister do tend to bicker a little now and then but it’s mostly just Merry Weather and Flora- who do that. But it never gets too out of hand-…unless Flora tries to dye my armor cloth again.. then its becomes a battle of pink verses blue.”
She gave a visual groan and rubbed her temples- just thinking about how those pixies went on and on changing her cloths back and forth was nauseating.
Taking up a fork she spooned a serving of the scrambled eggs onto her plate before pouring her 3rd cup of tea. “After this I’m not sure what’s going to happens- seems like there’s a change in schedule today- maybe some kind of mission or event- I’ll stand by till Terra gives us the notice I guess. It’s the only reason I can think of why no one was in class before this period-“ and waving her hand he gestured to the dining hall-“ and no one else is around.”

“Yeah I am not sure what happened.” Rebecca said while pondering a moment. “I do remember a group of people that live near me said that they were going to Twilight Town today or something because they had free time this morning. I am not sure what happened with that though.”
Rebecca suddenly groaned as she remembered something. “I have to talk to Professor Ventus next week about my summer homework assignment and my discoveries. I am not looking forward to that.”

Zack was slightly distracted by his soufflé, but flexed one arm to show off his muscles to Rebecca.
"Oh, yeah, sure, 'muscular,'" Timon scoffed, just loudly enough to be heard. "I s'pose that's one way to describe him." Zack just grinned, used to his Galiant's teasing by now.
"Aw, Ven gave you homework?" Zack exclaimed as he finished off his soufflé and reached for some bacon. "That's gotta suck. But about the schedules, ladies: no changes, just Terra, Ven, and Aqua are off doing some missions. They said they'd be back next week, so that's why the free hour. All the other teachers are starting their classes later today. In fact, I've got Alchemy with Professor Blackbelcher after this."
"Don't blow your eyebrows off again, Zack," Timon chided.
"Hey, that only happened once!"

Rebecca nearly smacked herself for using her choice of words and laughed at Zach showing off his muscles. “Yeah Professor Ventus made me practice one of my abilities during the summer and I supposed to tell him everything I learned.” Rebecca groaned again as she remembered one incident. “At this point I got the ability down but sometimes it was hard using it.”
“I told you not to get near the desert wasps” Iago squawked at Rebecca before matching her voice perfectly “'Professor Ventus told me to do this so lets try desert wasps. They can't be hard right?'” Iago then switched back to his own voice “I don't think we ran that fast since-”
“Enough!” Rebecca shouted at Iago before putting her fingers to the side of her head. “What else was I supposed to do. There was a dry spell of heartless at the time so there wasn't much to Sc-” Rebecca immediately realized she was about to say the ability she used. “Anyway if I remember right I have history after this free hour. If Professor Terra is out on missions though I guess I will have to train on my own on trying to move faster.”

Unlike the usual entrance of your typical student, the next one to enter made no noise- because there no footsteps touching the ground. Clinging to wall and pushing off them with impish delight Cloe floated in like gravity had no meaning- little giggles bubbled from her as she reached out her tiny hand towards the nearest jug of water on the first table she passed.
With no one around- there was no one there to scold her on her lack of shoes! With water jug in hand she brought the edge to her lips and began drinking deeply as she hung there in midair a foot or two off the ground. Finsihing the contents with a satisfied smack of her lips she put the jug back down and proceeded to grab another.

“huh- interesting.. free period then for me. Unless maybe today is a good day to look up alchemy. It’s not really my thing but the class is more than potion brewing..” a hand settled on her blade hilt that was lashed to her side.
“I can see myself tuning this up eventually when the need comes- for its decent enough and….and..-”
The knight trailed off as she stared gapping dumbfounded at the girl floating like a ghost on the opposite side of the room. Did she just down an entire pitcher of water? That must be at least 1 liter or more- and now she was drinking he next one?
“-h- hey! You ok?!” Shion stood up addressing the strange pale apparition who suddenly realizing she wasn’t alone, dropped not only the pitcher on the floor but seemed to drop out fo the air as well. Stumbling on her spindly legs she scurried around trying to pick up the pitcher before ti poured the other half of its contents all over the floor.
“oh- no no no no no!” she whined.
Shion looked back at them- for the life of her she couldn’t pin point where she’d seen this one before- was she even real? Where they seeing this too?

{Zack .:. Land of Departure .:. Kingdom Academy .:. Dining Hall} "We could train together, if you want. I'm not exactly the quickest, but I'm not that bad," Zack offered modestly. He was about to respond to Shion about her interest in Alchemy when the newest arrival panicked and dropped a pitcher of water. "Whoa!" he exclaimed, lifting his feet from the floor to not get splashed. The pitcher rolled his way, so he bent over and scooped it up for the fairy-like girl, handing it to her with a grin. "Whoah, hey there, be careful!" Timon snapped, hopping down to the floor with a handful of napkin. He began wiping up the water, frowning at the girl. "Someone could slip on this and get hurt!" Zack nudged the meerkat with his foot and handed the pitcher back to the fairy-girl. "Here you go. You're not hurt, are you?"{Mizu .:. Twilight Town .:. Streets} Mizu laughed as Ziko explained what had happened. She didn't bother responding, preferring to save the rest of her breath for the run. She saw ahead of them four people in what appeared to be a walking bathtub, and while normally she'd love to examine the tub, instead she veered off to one side and leapt, bouncing off of the wall of a building to propel herself over them. As she landed behind and began running, she called over her shoulder. "I'd run if I were you! Wasps!""I really hope their tub has a turbo or something," Chip mused from his perch on Mizu's shoulder. "Yep," Mizu and Dale agreed.
