"I think...I will do the one with the FEAR. I will try really hard and do my best, and I will be right back? Please wait here for me?" Chuppi smiled softly at Mort and waddled over to where the boxes were grabbed one, prepping for the exam.
She could do this, she could help the school.

"Oh hi," said the slimer as he turned to the boil. Oooo, a member of the undead. He felt a sort of kinship with the zombie who approached him, though, they came out of their deaths in different ways. He had been around the monster tribes all this time, and has yet to really met members of the other groups. It was nice to see someone who he might be able to relate some more. "I did pretty well I think, surprisingly easy." The slimer's smile disappeared as he crossed his arms across his chest. "Maybe... it was too easy." The ghost's eyes looked up, and off to a distance, falling into deep thought.

"Will do!" Mort told Chuppi with a nod, not wanting to move much anyway; her smile went unreturned in his new tumbling mood.
Back to the new boil! He thought it was too easy? Mort scratched the back of his head self-consciously. Did he get questions about scarelings too? Was that easy? Did everyone know that except him? Agkdfjhslfkslfhs
"Did o-okay, methinks . . ." He kept it vague, not wanting to look stupid in comparison. "New, y-yes? Is Mortimer, Mort is short." Here he would normally extend a hand to shake, but right now his hands were currently pocketed, loosely balled into fists. "Sorry if c-come at bad time . . . Not like normally this."

Interesting, he thought. As his eyes followed the zombie's movement and found that its musculature probably decayed that it wasn't functioning as well it should. But they're a durable bunch."You don't look short at all Mort." The slimer completely missed what the boil was saying. "I'm El Greco, usually just Elle, but it sounds feminine to some." The slimer extended his hand to meet the zombies, though it might be difficult to shake with a normal hand, the slimer made his slime-flesh mold around the hand. He grasped it firmly and gave it a few shakes. "It's nice to meet you, and it doesn't look like anything is wrong with you."

Chuppi returned after handing in her box, her face a little flushed. She felt really proud of whatever it was she'd done, attacking like that and doing some damage. There was a method to all this that made things easier knowing she helped the school in some small way. "Mort? And....oh, I...have we met?"
The monster smiled at the two undead boils. "I took the test, I did well."

"El Greco" . . . "The Greek"? o3o Mort was surprised to see someone take on a name like that. Did that mean he knew Greek as well? Also not noting the ghost's misinterpretation in his curiosity, he attempted a quick phrase: "Μιλάτε ελληνικά?" he asked as Chuppi came on the scene, shaking the boil's hand (though one still stayed in his pocket).
"Say name El Greco," he told her, letting go of Elle's hand. It was a strange sensation, like if the hand could have given way . . . Then again, holding rotting flesh probably wasn't the best sensation either on the other guy's end. "But . . . G-Good you do well. Knew could." He offered a small smile, even if at the moment Mort didn't feel much like smiling.

"I think so." El Greco bowed his head to the ghoul, and smiled. "Well maybe not properly, but you've caught my eye before. The ghost slowly landed on his feet as he took a few steps closer to the monster. He gazed at her red eyes, deeply looking in as if he was searching for something. He was just a few steps away from her, and raised a brow. His smile seemed permanent. “And you are?” He spoke softly. The slimer then turned his head to the zombie for a second when he spoke something close to gibberish, yet familiar. The words ran around his thoughts, enough to break his pursuit of the ghoul. He then turned his whole frame to faze the zombie. “Sorry, what?” he responded perplexed, “That sounds familiar Mort… but I don’t know what it means.”

Holly sighed at West's comment. Awesome more exams. Just what she was hoping for! Yeah, right. Again the ghoul sighed and stalked off. She'd figure out what to take when she got there.

Muka had been watching silently from the closest tree branch. The strix silently observed, legs dangling as the bogeymen stood guard and the students raged in a mass. As soon as it was announced that testing could be done, the strix dropped to the ground. His wings aided him flapping gently so he didn't fall.
Ulmuka was unsure what to do. He'd just been enrolled recently and hardly considered himself to be qualified to represent the school with testing. But could he just sit by and not do anything? He picked up his phone and looked at it. He'd been about to call his father but what good would that do? There had to be more powerful people involved here. All he would hear from father would be complaints about money and time.
The strix's normal smile was now a frown, a jaggedy frown. It was a strange look for the bird-boil.
He didn't want to go home.

Calder was breathing hard, grasping his jacket in a budle about his chest as he read the sign over and over above the heads of what felt like the entire student body. After what had happened to their school, being directly attacked right after a draining field trip and a funeral, they were already low. Calder had wanted to work on ideas of bringing their sense of unity and school pride back to become strong and bring back a feeling of security the school lacked with placing that sense of safety among them as a group, not into a place. He had ideas, but this had put a wrench in all of it.
In many things actually.
The school was closing. Packing. Packing meant going home. Home to Murchadh. The option of going to another school was out of the question. He had been here on a trial and his Lead had been against it to the point that he already wanted to return back to the clan. A closed school would be just what he needed to point out it was time to return and STAY home.
Away from friends. Away from new experiences and new lessons and opportunities to learn more. Away from Barth, the boilfriend he JUST got.
Away - for good.
It also twisted his heart like a snake choking on a rotten egg, trying to digest something larger than itself. Not only was his life changed. He knew of Barth's engament - the temporary deal that would be ended after graduation - but who knew if that would speed up. Then again, he felt that Barth's parents could send him to another school...and then...what did it matter. Calder wouldn't be there. His heart twisted and coiled again.
And Christof. He had planned to talk to Barth and find a way to get him away from Dr. Fell. A demon contract loophole of sorts, or raising money to buy the Igor when he was sold. Calder wanted his friend in one piece, whole as he was now, safe, and happy. What could Calder do if he wasn't around? The Igor would be obedient and walk straight up to meet his own end.
His heart twisted again.
"They can't close." He looked to the piles of papers and meters, and moved to take a test. It was hard to take one is such a state, but he'd do anything to hold back the worst. To buy time.

Levi was heading to see the ghost fox ghoul when they all gained new knowledge of... exams? She noticed the wrath demon automatically head one way. When Holly Headed into a random direction, Levi casually slid an arm under hers and directed her into the direction of the physical exams too.
At the very least, seeing West land on his ...tail during a test could prove entertaining. She could use a laugh right now.

Rikki didn't get a chance to answer Danny before she was walking off toward the physical exam equipment. He pressed his lips together tight, feeling extremely uncertain. Could they do this? He thought back to his classes, the lack of homework he'd done, and his general fail. He didn't really feel like he could do this.
He glanced around at all the students working on their testing and sighed. He had an offensive FEAR ability that could probably do well in the physical test, but his stomach roiled at just the thought of using it. He always felt so sick afterwards, clammy and ready to pass out. But a written exam? Jack that. Because he couldn't heal, that only left one option.
Hexes and spells. An old enemy. He flexed his stained fists and sighed. He might as well try the things he'd been trying to improvise. The worst he could do was fail.
... Oh jack.

It started off to be like one of those days where nothing would could out and surprise her, but it did. Oh, it did. It started with the text she got from Mot, and her brows were greatly furrowed as she walked along, trying to absorb the text. Was this a joke? It was so out of the blue, so random! The valkyrie looked up though, her feet coming to a stop in front of said gate, and even she paled a bit. Oh sweet Sally. It was true. Hel stood there looking flabbergasted as she stared at the signs, the bogeymen, her fellow classmates, still clutching her phone tightly in her hands. Then came the outrage, and her brows were now furrowed in anger. Leave!? Relocate!? Close down this Academy? Oh, Jack no! Hel came here because she wanted to grow stronger, because Amity was the best of the best. She wouldn’t settle for anything else and like many other of the sentiments, this was home. The ghoul opened her mouth to start shouting something, then immediately clamped a hand over it. Wait. Wait. All these bogeymen…for once she was thinking ahead of her mouth! Instead, the ghoul scrolled through her contact list until she selected a cowboil’s number, and stomped a bit away from the gate, absolutely steaming. Once there was a pick up, the ghoul snapped. “ I’m standing in front of the gate right now.” Hel hissed. “ Talk me down right now, or so help me Jack, Mot, I might do or say something that won’t be beneficial.”Mot Call "Oh sh...-ahem-. Um, Hel? Calm down. Yelling will only make this worse. With careful planning, we can make this right again. Take a deep breath with me, okay?" “ Careful planning!?” Hel nearly lost it again, as she pressed the phone closer to her ear, casting a glare at the bogeymen. “ A deep breath?” She also whined. “ Ugh…okay…” The ghoul sharply in took a breath. Mot Call "Thaaat's it. Good. Now then. It's being said that taking the standardized test will bring out school back on top. It may not seem like much, but if it can help even a little, we should take that step. So. Deep breaths, and make your way to the examination grounds. I already took a test too." “ Testing?” Hel echoed, her lips pursing as she stood on her tippy toes, looking around until she caught sight of Arel with all the equipment. Oh! Hel only thought about it for a moment before agreeing with Mot. She made a sound to show that she did agree, her brows furrowing now as she looked over the available examinations. “… Okay.” She said after a moment, letting out an aggravated breath. At least this way she could do something. “ I’m going to go take an exam as well now…the physical exam.” Mot Call "I'm sure you'll do fantastic. Don't worry your pretty head, Hel. The school will be fine." The reaper paused, and then snorted out of amusement. Her lips couldn’t help but quirk a bit from the pretty comment. “Hey…aren’t I the one suppose to be telling you, that?” Mot Call "....J-just take the exam. The school needs you." “ The school needs all of us.” Hel corrected, her lips pulling into a frown as her dual toned gaze slid over to the other exam options really quick. The reaper reached up and ruffled her hair as she was suddenly have second thoughts. “… Ah Mot…what about Spells and Hexes…since only a limited amount of students have those capabilities…” Mot Call "I stand corrected, little miss! ...Hmm, good thinking. It would be wise to try and do what others can not." “ That it would be…” Hel hummed in thought for a moment longer before giving a firm nod of her head. “… Alright. I am about to go and take the Spells and Hexes exam then…would it be alright if I stopped by after?” Mot Call "I'd like that. Good luck!" “… Heh…I would too. Alright…thank you, Mot.” Hel replied sincerely. “I will see you after…we’ll speak more then.” She snapped her phone shut then, and took another deep breath before marching over to the examination area to get this underway. Anything she could do to help, whether it’d be big or small… ( In and Out!)

Freya had been right behind her sister when they'd found the gate closed, and she listened to her yelp at Mot through the phone. She glanced over at Herryk, who'd already headed off to do his exam, and when she looked back, Hel was gone as well.
Freya was .. perhaps .. not as upset about this turn of events. If they were sent home, she would get Hel back. As for Herryk.. he had no home. That meant.. Freya could have just dragged him home to live with her, and - happily ever after.
Right?
She could still feel the venom in Hel's voice when she spoke to Mot. Hel would never be happy back at home. And when Hel wasn't happy.. she wasn't happy.
With a bedgrudging sigh, Freya trudged off to the examination area as well. It was the least she could do for her sister.
