(ooc: Hahah, hurray!! :3 ) Nathan smiled and nodded his head slightly. He gestured for everyone to stand back a little and took a marble-sized orb out of his jacket pocket. Holding out his left hand and resting the orb in his palm, he hovered his right hand above it and a purple magic circle appeared in the space between the orb and his right palm. The orb started to glow a faint purple and grew to the size of a tennis ball.
He closed his eyes and quietly said, as if he was chanting, "Spirits of the undead, I call upon thee. Heed my wish and fight by my side. I summon forth, spirit of the wolf!" He jerked his right hand away and his eyes flashed open. A light purple mist started to seep out of the orb and flow onto the floor, curling around itself, and out of nowhere a zombie-like wolf appeared. Nathan knelt down and stroked its head, then looked up at everyone and said with a smile, "Don't worry, he only attacks people I consider enemies."
Amazing.. Rein thought to herself as the wolf appeared. What kind of magic was that? She'd never seen anything like it before! Her curiosity and love for animals almost got the best of her as she went to take a step forward, but she quickly gathered herself and stopped. She could feel a great deal of magic power coming from Nathan, and she somehow knew that he wasn't his magic to its fullest. She looked him up and down. Who was this boy? And how was he so powerful?

Will let out a sigh, when Devi said he catch on quick. "Uh huh, and I thought I always did" he commented with a smirk. With a small yawn, he rubbed his crimson eyes, he felt tired. When he opened his eyes, he heard that Nathan would love to show his magic. "Awesome. That would give some entertainment" he exclaimed. And He did enjoy seeing different kinds of magic. His tired eyes seemed to glow of delight. He shifted his glance at Devi."Please don't mistake me. I am enjoying myself around these people.Just that I feel tired" he said with a pout and puppy face. Than when he felt magic he turned just in time to see Nathan preform. Will gave a wink of appreciation that he enjoyed it. He seemed to use spirit magic. How odd. Angie backed up a little when Master unexpectantly hoped on to the table. But quickly regained her smile. He seemed to be..in a way very special with his posture. "Hmm...that's a hard one. First of all, this actually is my first time out of my house. I lived there all my life. So I am 'hungry' for crowds of cheery people and adventure. This guild seemed to be perfect. Secondly, my mother use to be a member here but retired once she met my father. So I wanted to come where my mother's history might lay" she said with a thoughtful smile lingering on her lips.

From a distance, Grantes watched and observed as everyone went about their chores and daily brawls. For a second, he considered stopping time and walking out like he vanished into thin air. Only Mirajane, Master Makarov, Erza and probably Lucy had an idea of what he was capable of. Despite his surprisingly high potential and high amount of magical power that enabled him to do great things, the side-effects usually outweighed the benefits by a large margin. Then he saw the silver boy do his thing. "Oh... Summoner huh? You know, I find Summoner Mages to be very annoying. It's mostly because I gotta kill the summons first before I get to chop my target's head off. Can your summons track, talk to other animals or sniff out past events?" Grantes said as he approached the kid. "You still considering on joining the guild kid? I'd be glad to take you along a quest I'm gonna do if you are." he smiled. "And you're... Rein? Juvia talked about you once. I'm taking companions along with me on a job I'll be doing. What's your magic? I'd be happy to take people with useful skill sets.""Wow, Grantes, you're really taking companions? That's a great step out from the shadows!" Mirajane cheered, complimenting him as this was the first time he approached someone about taking them along as a companion. "Not now, Mira. I'm trying to put on a happy face here. So, whaddaya say, Rein? Wanna go punch somebody? Whaddaya say New Guy? Wanna come with me and chop off limbs and maim some idiot schmuck? If you want in, just join and tell me okay?"

As Rein's hand touch his extended hand, memories began to rush through Theodore's mind. The image shifts to a dark alley way where a young Theodore was laying on the ground, seemingly unconscious with his body covered in scratches and bruises while the rain pours heavily as the droplets of water pummeled his battered body. Within a distance, someone appears from the shroud of rain while carrying a light blue parasol. Upon closer inspection, the person appears to be a young girl with bright blue eyes as she inches closer to Theodore's location. Images of her discovering him, calling out to him as well as shielding him with her umbrella could be seen. The blurry vision of young Theodore's half shut eyes caught a glimpse of her as she tries her best to help him as his eyes shut once more only for them to opened again and young Theodore found himself under a shade with some of his wounds bounded by bandages, which appears to be made by bits of clothing. Theodore suddenly snap back to reality as Rein release her grip and is seen talking to the others. Theodore remained silent as he stares at her with confused eyes, not wanting to say anything as he is uncertain of the identity of the little girl. Due to that, Theodore was silent throughout the whole situation as more people join the group and are now in deep conversation with each other. Theodore watched on as their conversation intensified until he could hear a mixture of laughter , glee and astonishment as Nathan displays his magic. Theodore's emotionless face displayed neither astonishment nor interest in Nathan's magic, however, deep down, Theodore could felt almost jealous about the thought of being in a lively guild, something which he doesn't have a privilege of owning nor would he think of participating in a long time. "What am I thinking? I am a mercenary. I don't need this feeling," thought Theodore as his thoughts were interrupted when Taura commented about the fact that he isn't alone with this kind of feelings. "True darkness cannot be forgotten so easily. That's why justice is required and is all I need. However, I do thank you for the advise," remarked Theodore with a polite tone as he heard Grantes' remark about him being soft. "Killing doesn't make you strong nor does it indicate that you're less than naive. It is just the delusions of a strong person who thinks he can go through life without worrying about his conscience eating him up every time he draws blood. Villains are human too. All they deserve is justice not death. They must be accounted for their sins, nothing less. Besides, hindering the welfare of girls with your gory remark is beneath you," responded Theodore with a serious tone as he stares at Grantes with dark and serious eyes. "The only thing that keeps me going would be my sense of justice, nothing more. You best remember that," noted Theodore only for his conversation to be interrupted by the arrival of Erza who appears to be scolding every person she meets. Theodore just gave Grantes a slight serious glare before turning his sights to Erza only for him to slowly step up in front of her. "Erza Scarlet? It is an honor to meet you. I'm Theodore Azaziel. I apologize for coming up to you like this so suddenly but I may require your assistance as well as the assistance of the members of Fairy Tail," remarked Theodore politely as he gave a short bow. "However, before I could proceed to tell you, I must request if you might wait for few moments until I settle some matters with master of your esteemed guild. It pains me to delay a strong beauty as yourself but I do hope you would accept my apology for keeping you from your duties and wait a moment," remarked Theodore with a polite tone only for him to notice Grantes' remark about joining him in a quest. "Though it pains me to tell you this but that request you just took from the board, it happens to be from my employer. So, if you like to accept that offer, I ask that you wait a moment," called back Theodore as he addressed Grantes.

Nathan stood up straight and gave Will an appreciative smile. He was glad no one freaked out or ran away because of his magic, because that's what usually happens. He turned his attention to Grantes who commented on his magic and gave him a quick, cheeky smile. "Do not trouble yourself, Grantes. I have no intentions of getting on your bad side," he said has he scratched the back of his head.
Nathan paused for a moment as Grantes asked his questions about his spirits. "Yes, they can each track different things and talk to specific animals. However, sniffing out past events is something I have never seen them do. I do not doubt for a second that they couldn't do something as amazing as that, though," he said with a smile as he looked down at his wolf, who seemed to be sniffing the air and looking around at everyone peacefully.
Nathan held the orb above its head and it slowly vanished into a light purple mist and returned to Nathan's hand. The orb returned to its former size and he put it back in his jacket pocket. Nathan considered Grantes' offer for the job, but decided to decline after hearing Theodore's comment. He thought he should wait until he was actually a member until going on his first job, and going with people he could trust not to go overboard or anything like that.
Rein gave a nervous smile. Juvia talked about her? She wasn't game enough to ask what she said about her. It could either be something nice or something awful. "Well.." she started, "what kind of job is it..? I'm not very good with hard jobs, I only use water magic.." she finished, her eyes wondering. She felt slightly less at ease when Nathan declined the offer. She didn't want to be the only one going on this job with Grantes, it would be awkward, she didn't have very good people-skills and she would prefer to go with someone she was more friendly with.
She then heard what Theodore said about the job. What kind of job could this be? She started to get curious. She was hoping Grantes would listen to Theodore and wait, but she doubted that slightly. She didn't want to say anything though, unless she offended him in some way, and Grantes was the last person she wanted that to happen to.

Devi grinned as she watched will, "Modest too I see." She observed in a jokingly critical manner. She paused and listened to her defense before smirking slightly . "I see..... So you don't get enough sleep at night and then blame us for your tiredness slash boredom? Doesn't that seem a bit unfair?" She asked him. The master smiled, "Take you're time, there's a reason you came here... there's a reason everyone comes here." He told her. As she spoke he listened quietly. "I see, so you stayed indoors all of your life..." He thought aloud, as he listened to her continue. "You're mother? What was her name?" He asked, more out of curiosity for his own sake. Devi smiledas she watched Nathen. "A summoner, huh?" She observed with a smile as she knelt down to the wolf, petting it's fur. "Pretty advanced too." She smiled as she looked up at Nathan. "I'm impressed." She told him as she stood back up. " I've seen a lot of summoners, it's easy to do it shallowly." She smiled in approval at his magic as the spirit disappeared again. Taura smiled at Theo's response. "No one's saying we have forgotten it." She corrected him. " You might not believe it... but everyone of here holds darkness within us." She explained as a ball of dark magic appeared in her hand. "We never forget it because it makes us who we are today. However, there's more to life than just that darkness." She smiled as the ball seemed to shift, light making it's way into the darkness. None of the darkness disappeared, rather, the light added into it turning into a a ball that was comprised of both dark and light. Celina smiled as she looked over at Taura. "Seems Taura's showing off a bit of her magic too." She smiled, with a wink. Taura shrugged, "Not really, just making a point, if I was showing off I would go a lot bigger than a ball of magic." She smiled softly as she closed her hand around the mall, the magic disappearing. Devi laughed a bit at Taura's remark. At Rein's at her self-consciousness she glanced over at her. "Don't cut yourself short." She told her with a bright smile. "Water can be just as dangerous as another." She pointed out to her. "Look at Juvia, she was in the top 4 of her old guild and her magic is easily S class when she's serious."Celina nodded in response, picking up where Devi had left off. "Aquarius is one of the more powerful celestial spirits. Not to mention part of Taura's power focuses around water and i've seen her use it alone more than once and she is an S class." She told her with a smile. Taura nodded, "Water is a very powerful magic, if you cut it short you will cut it's potential." She told her gently.

"Unless you're trying to trick yourself into thinking you're cannon fodder, I'm not buying, Rein. Everybody has potential. Acknowledge that fact at least." Grantes said. He simply smiled at the new guy and watched as his summon dissipated back into an orb. With another note from Theo in his head, he shrugged and rolled his eyes. He hated this part. He was clearly still jacked up from his last job and was bound to remain his old jacked up self for a few more days before he'd be calm and collected. "Okay, Theo, I'll wait... And my waiting fee is down to 500 Jewels." he said. "Grantes, we don't-""I know, I'm trying to make a joke here so stop correcting me. I know how the guild works. No under the table jobs, no taking rewards for a job that you didn't actually do and we most certainly WILL kill anyone who gets in our way." Grantes explained. "Actually, we don't kill unless necessary. Your merc ways still need to be adjusted but you're getting there. At least you didn't kill anyone today." Mira smiled. "And Nathan, try not to talk about mercs around this guy. He's still adjusting to the Fairy Tail way." "Yeah. I'm a rabid dog that loves to bite everything. Tremble before me." Grantes added in mocking sarcasm.

Will lifted his both hands up in the air with a amused look. "I give up talking back to you" he said to Devi as she retorted back at him. Rolling his eyes, he slowly pushed his hands back down and crossed it over his chest. "Devi, your a talented critique giver. It is really..hard to say something.."He said with a thoughtful look. Will gave a shrug and plopped down on a chair. He did not like to say a compliments. But this mage was so hard to go around. Will gave a chuckle at his own thoughts. When he raised his head, he saw Taura who seemed to be showing her own magic. Another light and balls..how delightful. Will bit his lower lips in disappointment that he can't show his magic...with out hurting someone. He didn't care any way. But he let out a huff. His eyes went back to Grantes who seemed to be talking a whole lot. Will gave off a smirk. He was a cheery guy. Angie closed her eyes.
White marbles were glinting just to make the scene like a story or folk tales where angels might come out. Windows showed garden full of colors that showed off each and unique special kind. Roses were the most beautiful, it was ruby like and the dawn dew drops made it look like it was a star, and the petals curved in just the right places. A master piece. The sun ray shined down a table where a slim woman was siting on. Her hair was green, the color of nature, and her hands were busy writing somethings that she was forbidden to seek. Tip toeing she creeped on her and jumped out. The woman's emerald like eyes seemed uninterrupted . On her pale skin, a smile spread across...
When she opened her eyes, it met with the master's asking her about her mother. her heart beat was faster thinking.
"My mother's name was Eureka." She slowly answered in a quiet tone.

Rein gave everyone a thankful smile. She always underestimated her magic abilities. Her parents always use to say it was the most powerful water magic they'd ever seen when she was still living with them, and they weren't just saying that because she was their daughter. Her magic really was something to be proud of, she just hadn't realised that yet. She thought about what everyone had said for a while and realised they might be right. She was glad she'd stumbled across some amazing friends.
Nathan gave Rein a smile. He could tell she was processing what everyone was saying, and was slowly starting to believe it. "I would like to see what you're magic is capable of, Rein. What say we go out some time and you can show me?" he said in a soft, polite tone.
Rein blushed and gave him a slight nod. Was he asking her out.. on a date? No no, that wouldn't be right, they'd only just met. She forced the thought out of her head and turned her attention somewhere else.
Nathan simply gave Rein a smile and glanced over at Mirajane. "Oh, don't worry about me. I have already been warned about that," he stated with a smile. Then he paused for a moment, unintentionally staring at Mira. "I'm sorry to stare, miss. I believe I've seen you somewhere before.." he said, squinting slightly.

"Oh, you must have seen me in the center folds of-""Watch the eyes, new guy." Grantes said as he blocked Nathan's line of sight to Mirajane. If there was one thing that made Grantes stand out from the guys in the guild, it was his being fiercely protective of his female friends, most notably Mirajane and Lucy whom he'd already established a firm bond. "You take a step closer to her, think about her naked or making love to her, I'll rip your guts off." "Down boy." Mirajane said as she smiled at Nathan. "You have to excuse him. He's quite protective when it comes to girls." "That's true Manliness, Grantes!" added Elfman. "Shut up. And you, New Guy, I've got my eyes on you and my hands close to my swords. Make a wrong move and I'll chop you to bits."It was already common knowledge that when Grantes turns on his protective eye, he's pretty much like a dog. Simply put, he'll only listen to the ladies and do his best to please them. After all, that's what dogs like right? "Grantes, stop scaring him. He hasn't even joined the guild and you already want to rough him up. So, down boy.""Arf." Grantes said as he sat beside Mirajane. "And don't forget about me, Rein. I'd love to see what you can do. Hey, I got an idea, let's show and tell. You do your magic and we watch."Just then, a random man came charging in front of Grantes, wooden swords in hand. It was another one of his 'Students'. During his early days as an official member of the guild, he made an impact by talking back to Erza and matching her swordsmanship with his own and got out of it with a scratch and a smile on his face. Ever since then, sword mages from other places and Fairy Tail itself came challenging him to duels and begging him to teach them how to fight with swords or beat Erza. "Teach me how to beat Erza, Master!" said the man. "For the Nth time, Ryan, I didn't beat Erza and I most certainly am not your damn master. It was a draw right? Besides, there's Erza right there... Unless you want me to chop you up." Grantes said, his eyes already narrowed and a grin forming on his face. "I'll take you on any time, Master!" said Ryan as he tossed him a wooden sword. "Prepare yourself!" In one fluid motion, Grantes caught the blade, dashed in front of Ryan and had his wooden sword at the man's throat as he was announcing his attack. This was the kind of movement that amazed everyone and earned Erza's apparently grudging respect. "You don't talk, you fight. Your stance is wobbly and your footing is crap. The grip on the hilt should be firm and tight, the weight of the blade should be within your center." he said with professional and clearly sharpened criticism as he tapped the man's wrong positions and pointed them out with accuracy and tapped them with his wooden sword. "Again?"Without any more words, Ryan adjusted his footing and charged at Grantes. Like the master swordsman that he was, he simply dodged the man's attack and parried the blade with his own. In another second, he disarmed the man and swept him off his feet with effortlessness and precision that made him a feared mercenary as he finished the session with him placing the two blades on Ryan's neck and crotch. "Don't charge mindlessly. Consider the footing, area of combat and stance of your enemy. This is why I don't take students you know." Grantes said. As if to break the mood, Mirajane clapped in awe with his skills. "You're kinda ruining the mood. So Rein, what about our show and tell? I'm getting bored so I'd love to see some cool stuff today."

Nathan quickly averted his gaze from Mirajane to Grantes and simply gave him a smile. "Don't worry, Grantes. I'm not looking anywhere I shouldn't," he stated. He looked back over at Mirajane and smiled innocently. "I think I know where I've seen you before. Were you on the cover of an issue of Wizards Weekly or something of the sort? I don't read them, but I may have laid eyes on one while I was shopping," he said in a curious voice.
Rein wasn't paying attention to anything that was going on around her. Theodore was on her mind for some odd reason. She still felt something strange when she was in his presence, but she still couldn't figure out what. Did she know him from somewhere? Maybe.. She snapped back to reality as she heard her name and she looked up at Grantes, slightly confused. He'd asked her to show them some of her magic and she didn't really know what to say.
She stood up straight and gave him a little smile and a nod. What magic should she use? Nothing too powerful, of course. She didn't want to drown the whole Guild. She took a deep breath and held her hands out in front of her, her left palm facing away from her and her right hand crossed over the top of it. She faced Grantes, hoping he'd figure out she was going to attack him, and her eyes seemed to start glowing. "Water..." she started as a blue magic circle appeared in front in her hands, and a ball of water started to build up in front of them. "CANNON!" she yelled out as the ball of water reached its maximum size and she quickly whipped her hands away to her sides, causing it to roar towards Grantes at a tremendous speed.

Grantes had to admit, he was a bit taken aback by Rein's sudden initiative and not to mention, gutsy move. As a mercenary, he viewed Mages as geeks and fragile glass jawed idiots who couldn't hold a candle to them when it came to physicality. Rein's Water Cannon took him by surprise and accidentally triggered his instincts and reflexes, causing him to stop time for two to four seconds as he effectively dodged and charged towards Rein who was now moving in slow motion like everyone else. He then positioned himself beside her with his arms folded and smiling. When time resumed, he remained in his position for at least five seconds before blinking and looking at Rein with a smile as her projectile missed him by a very large margin. By normal standards... No, by everyone's vision, he just simply went from one place to another in less than a blink of an eye. He went from a place in front of Rein and appeared right beside her in an instant. That was definitely not normal for a Mage or any magic for that fact. The side effect of using his magic was always proportional. If he stopped time for two seconds, he'll stop in time for two seconds. His swords simply dampened the effects which led him to treasure them like they were his life. "That's cool, Rein." Grantes smiled, giving her a thumbs up. "What... What happened? How did you move so fast?! Master, teach me how to do it!" Ryan said. "Nope, no can do. I can teach you how to Douggie though." he chuckled. Mirajane knew about his power and in her opinion, it was a double edged sword. There were hints of hidden agendas and untold abilities about him but she knew not to prod deeper than his comfort zone. He was a former mercenary and a highly accomplished assassin. He was, for all intents and purposes of the word, a Stone Cold Killer. It's a miracle his conscience never eats him up. "That's Grantes and his speed for you!" Mirajane cheered, masking Grantes' ability to stop time itself as incredible speed. The same ability was also the one that saved Grantes from getting beaten to a bloody pulp by Erza and was also the game breaker that made their last fight a draw.

Theodore was silent as he listened intently to Taura's response to his answer. "True. I don't deny every word of it, my fair and wise Taura. however, there are some things that are best dealt than forgotten. A darkness that forever churns the very foundation of your conscience," responded Theodore with a somewhat mixture of sadness and politeness in his tone. Theodore then witness as she conjures a dark ball of darkness energy in the palm of her hand. Theodore watch on as the ball shifts as a light shone from within creating a spectacle of balance between light and dark. Before Taura could deactivate the orb, Theodore inched closer to get a better view of the orb as she was preoccupied with Celina, it suddenly grew by a few inches as darkness seemed to overwhelm the mixture which causes the orb to burst into a small cloud of black smoke. Theodore was in fact shocked by such revelation as he had not seen anything like that but came to the conclusion in his mind that his own darkness could have been the cause of it in spite the fact that he had been shouldering a heavy burden that dwells within the darkness of his heart. "Your magic is astonishing, my dear," remarked Theodore suddenly as shock seemed to overwhelm his tone as he decided to step back a few feet to catch his breath. Theodore was a lost for words until he heard Grantes' remark about the waiting fee costing 500 jewels in regards to the quest that he had mentioned. "Trust me when I tell you that this quest would be worth all your time and you'll be rewarded handsomely," responded Theodore with a polite tone as he gave Grantes as slight bow as gesture that he is being serious about his comment. Theodore then took a deep breath and fixed his gaze at the Master's table where he is conducting his interview with the fair and lovely Angie. "Please pardon my interruption, Master. However, I feel it is of utmost importance that I let you and all members of your esteemed guild know that the current quest that involves the eradication of dark guild members is being upgraded. Please note that due to severity of the situation, the reward has been increased to 50 million jewels," announced Theodore with a serious tone as he stare at everyone with a shielded gaze due to his hat covering a portion of his face. "The quest also requires that you form a bigger group. Please keep in mind that the dark guild has caused a series of issues and this worries the Magic Council to a huge extent as many of their soldiers are found dead as well as other guild members. My employer is at a lost on what to do which is why I'm here," continued Theodore with a serious tone. It is within that moment that Theodore noticed Grantes dodging rein's water attack as the stray ball of water blew by Grantes and is seen heading to towards a table filled with guild members who noticed the threat too late and is unable to avoid it which prompts Theodore to rush towards them. Within that split second, Theodore is seen standing in front of the table and using his earth magic to produce a rock like gauntlet on his right hand, proceeds to block the attack with it as the ball hits his gauntlet causing water to splash everywhere. With his gauntlet dripping with water, Theodore gaze at the Master once more. "So, I hope you consider my employer's request. However, you may choose to decline it as I, myself would not want to involve others. If possible, I will take this quest myself if you decline," noted Theodore with a serious gaze. "By the way, you should really think before dodging that attack, Grantes," noted Theodore seriously as he points at the table filled with guild members while water drips from his gauntlet.

Rein cupped her hands over her mouth as the ball of water crashed into Theodore who was shielding the other Guild members. "Oh god, I'm so sorry! It was my fault, I shouldn't have been so careless with my attack! Is everyone okay? You're not hurt, are you Theodore??" she said in a very apologetic voice, her eyes wide with shock. She lowered her hands from her face and waved her right hand in front of her, causing all of the water that was splashed onto the floor and on Theodore's gauntlet to evaporate.
"Do not worry, Rein. Everyone's fine," Nathan responded with a reassuring smile. He then realised what Theodore had said and let his eyes widen. "50 million Jewels?" he repeated in a surprised tone, turning to face him. He thought about it for a short moment and shifted his attention to Grantes. "Seeing as how you are going to need a larger team than what you have now, I'll consider joining you on this Job," he stated with a smile, yet with slight seriousness in his tone.
