Anala grinned with amusement as Rasha spoke, her rippling flames showing her emotion. She could just imagine what that must have been like -- it wasn't often that a horse-like Pokémon would sit, and she didn't think the electric-type would have been too pleased squished between a fiery tail and the muddle floor.
She nodded emphatically when the other spoke of human riders, having, too, experienced the harsh nips and panicked cries of the inexperienced. She didn't think she made it any easier on them, either.
"<<She does,>>" Anala replied with an affirming nod, looking for a moment at the aforementioned Emolga perched on her trainer's arm. "<<But they were given to her by another trainer. I think they like being with us, though. And it's fun to travel with other Pokémon!>>"

Zue lifted off from his 'owner's' head as he heard a familiar voice. At least the bat had left his head, but where was he going now? "Zue where are you going?" he called after his zubat, wondering what exactly he would say to someone if his pokemon had decided to nest on their head instead.
Zue had made his way over towards Leela and gave a small screech towards Pookie <"Hello again,">
Zak had followed Zue pushing his way through the crowd till he arrived to where Zue had stopped. He stood in front of Leela and blinked a few second recognizing her face, they had teamed up together in that odd mansion. "Hi. The instant he had arrived on the scene Zue returned to his nesting spot on the male's head.

Before she even knew what was happening River found herself gritting her teeth and watching the slightly younger woman take off running after her wayward rodent “Yeah that is what friends are for,” a small sigh escaped her lips and her eyes rolled with something akin to annoyance. This was going to be one heck of a trip, she had to depend on a twit that couldn’t even keep her critter in his ball. Just brilliant. Yanking her wallet from her back pocket the crimson haired trainer flitted out the proper amount of funds and paid for the goods that she had decided to bring with her. Kneeling down the former dancer fastened the tent and other items down into her backpack.
Pinching the bridge of her nose the punk-stylized female padded along and followed as best she could, not too far away she spotted Keria by a lamp post talking at the furry little b*****d[/stike] bundle of energy. Crossing her arms behind her back River tilted her center of balance towards the points of her toes and pranced on the balls of her feet while locking her knees and moving to some unheard music that played in the back of her mind. Jerking her head up at the sound of a loud voice booming the long haired youth ceased her jiving motion then broke out into an amused laugh.
“Really? Bikes? Gaaaaah! This is gonna blow,” easing her fingers into her hair River grumbled under her breath then shot her hand into the air waving it in a manner that demanded attention. “Yo, buttercup, I need a bike! What about you Keria, you need a bike too, babe.”

Voltron sighed he'd figure out what to do with his sidekick later. Right now he was going to see what other Pokemon where around. He scurried off to join the group of pokemon slower then when he first got out of his pokeball.
Keria watched Voltron making sure he didn't go to far before Turing to the other trainers. She nodded to River before turning to the person asking about the bikes "I need a bike as well."

"" Rasha commented with fond amusement.
"All right, that is a half dozen bikes?" Shina shrugged. "I'm going to go rent some bikes, and hand them out. Please wait here if you need a bike. If not, feel free to go your own direction for the rest of the day. We meet tomorrow at dawn at the Pokemon center, and leave a half hour after that! The route will be posted on the message board and extra fliers will be left with Nurse Joy! If you oversleep, just follow the posted route to catch up!"
Heading into the bicycle store, Shina turned to the owner. "Hello there. I need to rent some bikes. About a baker's dozen or so. ....Actually, let's make that fifteen." Shina smiled brightly at the man.
The man stared. Shina could feel him looking over her cheap jeans and shirt, the gaudy earrings, and Tenka perched on her shoulder. "Um, well miss, fifteen? Why don't I just show you a nice model for a young trainer, like yourself. Really, bikes are pretty pricey, and you can only ride one yourself."
Shina's open, friendly smile collapsed into something sharp that would only be called a smile by the most oblivious. "Oh, I'm so sorry," Shina said in a voice that was anything but. "I thought you would be able to help me. I really don't need a bike myself, my Ponyta can take me anywhere I want to go. But you see, I'm Shina Kiremono, and I was hoping to supply my caravan with bicycles. If you can't fill the order, I'll just head over to the Ponyta stables. I had thought that you would be happy for the advertising that an entire caravan of cyclists could provide. Not to mention," Shina pulled a bulging pouch from her backpack and tugged the string. The mouth of the pouch fell open, followed by the owner's, as a glittering mass of Nuggets was revealed. "The rental fees," Shina finished pointedly.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Miss Kiremono, was it? Please, there is no need to go bother the stables. We can provide everything you need right here!" The man was suddenly extreemly eager to please, with an obsequious smile on his face.
Shina smiled brightly again, all traces of ire gone. "Oh, I'm so glad you can help me! I'm looking for nice, sturdy models that can make the trip all the way to Inhinx. We'll be traveling over rough ground, the grasslands, and the mountains. Some areas simply are going to be too rough for bikes, so they should be capable of encapsulation too."
"Oh, we can do that! Come look at our latest all-terrain model! The wheels have a light-weight composite solid center instead of spokes, so grass doesn't get tangled up in the wheels. The chains are encased as well. Really, this is the best model possible for traveling in areas that might tangle up a bike. It has excellent shocks as well, for those rough areas, and you might have noticed the wheels are slightly wider than normal for added stability. And look here! Built right into the handlebars, a travel capsule! Just flip up the guard, and push the button, and the bike is popped right into the item ball! And for just a little extra per bike, we can even add handlebar baskets and saddlebaskets, even a carry rack, for those larger caravan packs!"
Shina dropped the bag of nuggets on the counter. "That sounds perfect. I'll take fifteen, all with the upgrades mentioned."
((So far, there are thirteen registered people without mount-type pokemon. So I ordered enough for everyone, plus a few extra. If we end up with more than fifteen people needing bikes, we'll just all pretend we don't remember how many Shina rented.))

Kali nodded as Shina went inside the bike store. Having a bike would definitely help on the trip, especially if most of the other trainers would be riding their pokemon.
Ziku decided that he was going to see what other pokemon were here. There seemed to see a few other electric types too! That would be fun.
Kali glanced over at the raichu. "Don't go too far!" She then looked around at the other people nearby. She didn't think she recognized any of them, but she had been spending quite a lot of time lately out in the forests.

Shina walked out of the bicycle store, the bag which had been holding nuggets now full of bike balls. "All right! Everyone who needs a bike, come grab one! If you don't grab it now, see me when we meet tomorrow! After this, you may all go you separate ways for the rest of the day. We meet tomorrow at dawn at the pokemon center, and leave a half hour after that! Have a nice day!" Shina held out the bag of capsuled bikes. From her shoulder, Tenka supervised, eying the others suspiciously.

Flint wandered away when she said they were free to go for the day. He would catch up tomorrow, for now he wanted to do a little exploring.
Maya stayed behind looking at all the pokemon the trainers had brought with them curiously. She had even seen other Emolgas.

Leela waited patiently as Shina talked to others that needed bikes. There was a large gathering of people with their pokemon. She sure hoped that there weren't any overly talkative ones. She never enjoyed conversations. The thing she was looking forward to was the sightseeing. This was going to be lots of fun.
Leela watched as a zubat made it's way towards them. It looked so familiar. Pookie removed her head from Leela's sleeve and looked up at Zue. <"Hi."> She responded in a shy manner to Zue.
Leela blinked as the zubat went to cling to the side of Zak's head. No wonder it looked so familiar. As soon as Zak approached, Pookie stuck her head back into Leela's sleeve. She smiled at Zak, "Hey." Looked like she knew at least one person here. The zubat had not changed at all. She briefly wondered what Zak had named him.
When Shina came out with the bike balls, Leela quickly went to grab one. She looked back at Zak. "Are you getting one too?" The amount of people promised very little quiet time for her. So she might as well attempt to be more friendly in a manner most people used which was through speech. Tomorrow they would set out. That made her smile.

Kali turned toward Shina when she made the announcement. "I'll grab mine now." She reached into the bag and took a ball out. "So, we're meeting at dawn? Is there anything else I should bring with me? I haven't traveled with a group in a while."

"Ah," Mrs. Pearls sighed. "Alright, okay~. I'll see everyone tomorrow, ta!"
Deneb Algebuni lowered his crest. Goodness golly gee, did her sugary tone just kill his insides. As she climbed onto his back, he mockingly rocked on his feet. She, in turn, seemed to raise her eyebrows at the movement. Doing so would have the question, "Did I gain weight?" just dog her, even though she claims she never cares for such trifles. Yea, uh huh. In one fell burst upwards, the Pidgeot descended the skies for the sixth time that day. He already knew where to go . . . her local bar was only a short, five minute ride away.

Puffing out her cheeks the slender figured nineteen-year old held in her breath as she watched her friend disappear into the group of trainers. It really didn’t matter too much, they would all be traveling together come tomorrow morning anyhow, there was no real reason to get upset and yet---
She was.
Exhaling noisily the longhaired youth stuffed her thumbs into her jean pockets then casually ambled closer towards the woman that was handing out the compact bicycle devices that resembled a standard pokeball. The manner in which River stalked up towards Shina was almost menacing, her sharp shoulders were squared and seemed stiff with unease and the annoyed almost hostile gleam in her cold blue eyes added to the overall unpleasant demeanor of the redhead.
“Thanks,” gruffly murmured the tomboy in a low pitch that somewhat concealed her feminine tone. Uplifting her angular face as soon as she held the bike capsule in her right hand River forced herself to make eye contact with the other female, long scattered locks of crimson obscuring the details of her alabaster visage. “Genuinely, I mean it. See you later, cutie.” Offering a playful wink and a slight smile the former dancer stuffed the offered item into her backpack before turning in place and stalking off. Her mood sullied and not improving River decided to head somewhere that she could practice in private. Even if she no longer performed professionally she still adored dancing, it was the only thing that cut the stress of everyday life.

Shina blinked, a little surprised at how aggressive the other girl had been before she smiled and ...flirted. Clearing her throat to regain her composure, Shina took a deep breath. "All right everyone! If you don't have a bicycle yet, I will give you one when we meet tomorrow morning! I'll see you tomorrow at dawn at the Pokemon center! Have fun and relax today, get any other supplies you might need! See you in the morning!" Shina called in a loud voice. Putting the bike capsules away, Shina headed for the stadium. She wanted to get a few battles in, she had heard the terrain generator was amazing.
((Okay everyone! Tomorrow I will post a good morning post at the Pokemon center. If you battled me during the November event, it took place in this time lapse unless you tell me otherwise. Tomorrow we will be leaving Katarina, so if you haven't made at least five posts so far and you want to count this as your Katarina Traveler RP, get posting! If you want, you may do something a little naughty and get caught by my officer character, if you need someone to RP with for a few posts. Litter, kick a vending machine, sleep in an alley(Khol, I'm looking at you here!), have your Pokemon steal a shiny or a snack, etc, and tell me ooc that you want to get caught.))

The group ((mostly?))dispersed from the Camping Supply store. Kohl stood for a moment, listing vaguely to the shouts, shrugged. She didnt need a bike, o there was no reason to follow. Time to scope out crash sites, she decides, thumping taka roughly and setting off at a confident lope. "C'mon, mutts, we might have to roust some hobos. They always take the best spots."
Taka lifts a lip in a half snarl that the human doesn't see, and wouldn't care if she had, and follows at a low-slung pace. The pup darts between them, and into every crevice that presents itself on the way down the street. Some are too big, some to small, but surely, like the proverbial Goldilocks, one will be just right. And unlike Goldilocks, Kohl won't have much trouble with bears.

Mina nodded, acknowledging the announcements.
"Tomorrow, then," she said as a form a farewell. "I'll be looking forward to it!"
Excited, she set off to finish last-minute preparations. She would stay in the Pokémon Center for tonight to avoid unnecessary use of her supplies (after all, there would be plenty of opportunities to camp out in the future), and then, the journey would finally begin.
