And the forest would be silent indeed as it seemed that patiences would have to be something that all three of them would have to work on. This change in Lindbergh ...even though the Gligar acted the same should have made it clearer of her lost. The pokemon wasn't exactly the same as what she had been before, and that ability was now lost to her ......as the stones would indeed bury themselves.
Hiding underneath the ground like the trap that they are ...it was only a matter of time before a pokemon makes the mistake of stepping in the midst of it.

Riku felt better as she entered the new terrain, because it was much cooler then the desert. There were still no signs of water and she would really have to find some soon. Relieved that she had managed to escape whatever had tried giving chase, she slowed to a walk. She looked at Ryuu's pokeball and sighed. Well at least he wasn't in critical condition or anything, but she missed having him at her side. The girl wondered how she would be able to find the chrono stone and maybe it might be around here somewhere.

The sight of the mountain would give no answer, and as she could feel the chill of the wind .....and in the distances if she looked upwards the snow caps. There would be no more answer to her question than any of the other sights ...she would simply have to search for it, or maybe ....the sound of rocks breaking away from the mountain could be heard ...as tumbling falling they would all come crashing downwards straight towards Riku.
The girl's luck it seemed was very good, but not very good for her .....as one boulder the size of her head hit the ground only inches from her feet, and above her more of the same threaten her existences.
(Roll the dice to avoid the incoming attack)

The girl hadn't been paying attention as she wandered until she heard a strange noise. It was like something was cracking and she looked up. Purple eyes wide with disbelief as she saw a rock tumbling straight towards her. At first she froze and heard a crash as the rock hit the ground inches from her feet. She saw the multiple rocks coming and wasn't sure what to do. As they rolled towards her, she tried to pick a pattern and weave her way around them. Hopefully it would work and she would avoid getting hurt.

::Jasmine waited, she was good at waiting, far too good at it::
::She watched on at Claudandas and Lindbergh, the pair at least were quiet for now, just now was another time it was good to rest and recuperate, there would be few opportunities like this... But Jasmine's stomach rumbled, she looked around... The place indeed looked so bare... would they find anything there if they looked?::
::Fruits, berries, anything? They wouldn't move from here until they got their quarry, but it didn't mean she couldn't scan the trees, looking for any trace of life...::

Claudandas was fine with this, felines knew to be still when on prowl, it seemed at least the girl knew the same, his eyes set upon the tree, when a sound broke his concentration, a rumble not of rock, but the girl's stomache, he looked at her, then Lindbergh - the Gligar uncaring once more::
::Time was relative, but it had been a day to this girl...::
::He looked up at the trees, when did she last eat? And what exactly, did humans eat?::
::She didn't make her complaint vocal, but he knew she would need sustenance too as they did... His eyes scanned the trees, his nose twitching as he searched with more senses than the girl alone would have...::

It would seem that her tactics for this was the best ...as the rocks seemed to actually fall into a pattern. Strange for falling rocks, but as the second to the last one hit ...splitting open to reveal in it's middle a strange stone ...it would seem that maybe luck was with her ....as the final rock that should have crashed upon it ...would suddenly stop in midair and actually start to retrace it's own path of falling back to the ledge it had apparently been shoved from.
Though before it had reached it's full height on that path something jumped from it's back. A pokemon that looked like a stone itself rolled and came up on it's short feet ...it's expression was impossible to determine, but it's resolve was clear.
It wanted to fight.

Riku realized she had two choices as she managed to avoid getting hit by the rocks. Either run away from this pokemon or stand and fight like with the Growlithe. The girl didn't really have the strength to fight back and she could substain too many injuries or else end up collapsing, fainting or possibly dying here. The only rational choice would be to flee as she glances at the pokemon. It seemed the girl had bad luck with running into so many pokemon while she didn't have any to help defend herself. Glancing over her shoulder, she tried taking off running again.

The attack would hit as the Kabuto was caught completely and utter unaware by the attack. The same attack that would make the trees themselves jump and vibrate with the force of the blow as the tree wouldn't topple but the side of it was smashed clean open ....revealing inside the fossilized chunks of amber. It seemed her mission was a success, but, it wasn't over with yet .....as the Kabuto that had been aggressively attacked wasn't happy about the situation at all.
It would glare daggers at it's opponent ....as the pokemon eyes would fall upon Jasmine and her group. It would seem that they now had a battle ahead of them.

Though the Roggenrola would start forward with a roll as she tries to literally take the girl's legs out from under her. Running away might suit her, but in her haste it would seem that Riku failed to notice the Chrono stone she was leaving behind. Though the Roggenrola cared little anyway, the pokemon simply wanted the thrill of the hunt and the fact that she was running away only meant to her that she had to follow.
Her entire body was going with the spin as she rushes after her opponent with everything ready for the attack. She wouldn't let this one get away.

As Riku looked back, she saw something, a flicker of a shine. Could it be the item she needed? The girl managed to avoid the pokemon's attack. Instead of running away, she needed to face this pokemon and go get what she had come to this island for. The girl turned, grabbing some of the rocks around and throwing it at the pokemon in an effort to get it to leave.

Though the footprints that Rita would see would oddly enough vanish as she walks from the sandy shores to the rocky area. She would find herself ...standing before a huge cavern. The cave extending miles and miles into the distance as it would seem that this is where adventure was to begin. [2/10]

Through Roggenrola had no fear of rocks. It was afterall a rock pokemon as it's body continued to spin with it's own momentum ...the girl having managed to dodge it's attempt to take her legs from under her as she turns again. The pokemon twists around so that she could face her once more ...even as she jumps out of the way of each individual rock thrown. She wouldn't be that easy to drive off ...even if the rocks manages to hit.
Though the pokemon was starting to wonder why she hadn't simply run away while she had the chance.
