No matter how he looked at it, Amias knew that these two were at a disadvantage. Even in her weakened state, her energy was far more powerful than theirs, and although it was a valiant effort...Lilith's charms and abilities would not work on Amala. The Pagan Goddess of Reality was beyond that level. Beyond the seduction from someone of Lilith's power. She made that perfectly evident with a scoff and a brief roll of her eyes. "Please...one of Kala's wenches, trying to seduce me? How pitiful. You and I both know that won't work. Especially someone of your level. In fact...I find it quite charming that the both of you are teaming up...I remember the days when Ammy and I used to fight endlessly for the affection of our followers. An unending battle between the two strongest Gods of our time. Those fights were always so close...but I always won." With a gleeful look on her face, her palms extended. However, something was different this time. Before any energy was released, her palms closed. Without warning, every boulder in the immediate vicinity vanished. This left the two of them in a complete free-fall, with only a couple thousand feet left until they would reach the bottom. They would have to act quickly, or death from a fall would be quite likely.
'My transportation ability works in mysterious ways, Lilith. If you plan on using it for a teamwork purpose...well, we would have to wing it. I've never used it on anyone else's abilities but my own, so it would be an experiment.' His response was curt. Truth be told, he hadn't ever considered the possibility of using it with magic; he couldn't use magic, so it was mainly used for his projectiles over the years. Bows, Crossbows, Cannonballs, and now Guns. Each of them had once been effected by his ability. Speaking of which...'Lilith, use an ability that has a wide area of effect. Perhaps we won't have to experiment.' With a snap of his fingers, Amias summoned his cannon. It appeared over his arm in the blink of an eye, and he took aim at Amala in the same moment. With an incredibly loud bang, the cannon shell erupted from his weapon, scorching through the air as it came within inches of Amala's face. Her energy was ready to dissolve it to nothingness; until of course, it disappeared.
"How many times are we going to play this game, Amias? You have have surprised me with this trick once, but repeat offenses are going to be a little more difficult." The cannon shell reappeared above her, shooting down with enough force to split her in half with sheer brute force. After a quick dodge, it appeared to her right, then her left, then underneath. If Lilith didn't see what was happening, Amias would have to smack her after this; one hit from that cannon shell would mean the end of Amala, as it possessed enough blunt force to turn her into pudding. A wide area attack would give Amala no room to dodge, and her options would be clear; take the hit, or expend a tremendous amount of her remaining energy to shield from the attack. This was their chance to weaken her and flee before she unleashed more of her power. If she did that...they wouldn't be able to escape, not in free-fall.
Amias simply extended his hand, waiting until Lilith launched her attack to grab her and go.
Lilith briefly wondered why Kala had saw it fit to arrange her life in such a way. Why was it that every single time she was facing a life or death matter her opponent seemed to just want to narrate the entire thing and never shut the ******** up? The only thing worse than someone who couldn't stop talking during a battle was someone who didn't know when to show and not tell during sex. Too many times had Lilith been busy pleasuring someone and they just could not seem to keep themselves from having a whole ******** repetitive conversation. You could only take so many 'oh god's before wanting to slap someone. "You must like the sound of your own voice, you wheezy, decaying b***h!" Lilith said as she felt the boulder she had been standing on disappear beneath her. Her stomach dropped a bit but it wasn't as if the fall meant anything to her. The b***h could fly after all. But Lilith hardly liked to use her wings. They were bat-like and rather hideous, and just didn't really go with the outfit she was wearing right now. Luckily they were on a mountain so there was plenty of time to think while heading towards the ground at what should have been an alarming speed. Lilith just couldn't get it out of her head that Amala wasn't as powerful as she would have people believe. Sure she was a ******** handful to fight against, but her powers of reality had limits. Since the pagan whore hadn't made Lilith go poof like those rocks that meant she probably couldn't. Else why would she give them even a small shot at beating her? The woman couldn't help but notice that Amias' powers were similar. He affected things and places, not people. Lilith didn't have limiters like that. And now she was about to demonstrate. Amias had created a cannon from nothing, probably another method of his disappearing/reappearing act, and shot a cannonball at her. Now Lilith understood physics and got what the old guy was getting at. As he made the ball appear over and over again at different angles it seemed he was having a hard time actually hitting his target. Amala just had too much room to dodge. So acting quickly, Lilith flipped about in the air and created two circles of energy before her. When her hands made contact with the magic spheres twenty crescents of energy suddenly shout out towards Amala. Lilith created a net of overlapping blades of magic, making sure the 800 year old twatwaffle couldn't just slip through it. The magic before her faded and Lilith folded her arms towards her body, falling faster to reach Amias. She slipped her slender hand into his own and waited for him to work his mojo.
• Extremely seductive. Like Incubi, you possess the ability to instantly seduce others as long as they're two ranks below you. It's said that this becomes possible only due to their astounding beauty, but that is only a supplement. The Succubi are indeed far more beautiful than all other races, but their seduction lies in the magical energy they are born with. This energy flows around them and into the air like cells into a vein, bewitching any they seek.
• Lilith has developed the ability to detect the emotional state of the people near her and manipulate her succubus aura to merely make people around her feel very wanting of the more pleasurable acts. They become lascivious ratchet hoes, making it easier for Lilith to seduce people. This makes it so people one rank under Lillith are instantly seduced. If the opponent thinks they will be harmed the aura is broken. If Lilith tries to kill the target they are snapped out of it as well.
• Arcane Arts: Her magic spells are quite devastating should one hit you. (+1 rank to magic)
• Ability to manifest certain aspects of the demon at will. They can extend wings, sharp fingernails, as well as horns when they please.
• Detect Magic The user can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At higher ranks, you can determine the source in an area.
• Vibration Sensory A useful skill, the user channels energy into their feet to sense vibrations on the ground. As long as their feet is on the ground, a user can sense where an enemy is if they are earth bound within 50ft for five posts. This skill becomes passive once the user is Adept Rank.
Technique
• Halcon B One of the less area affecting spells under the Arcanist arsenal its made to kill lots of targets quickly. The arcanist creates two circles of magical energy beside him/her and then he/she will drive their hands into it and move their arms to throw it forward. The circles will not move but launch crescent shaped blades of energy that can slice easily through anything weaker than itself. At most you may create twenty but each one is only of C rank power you may use A ranked energy to make it of B ranked power.
Thankfully, their last gambit had paid off marvelously. Amidst dodging the cannon shell time and time again, Amala was not able to anticipate the wide scale attack, much less have time to react to it accordingly. In the end, she was hit by the attack, disrupting her focus long enough for the cannon shell to bash into her as well, knocking her off balance and making her plummet to the ground below. Amias was certain that this wouldn't be the end of their fight; the Pagan gods were monsters with extremely durable bodies. Small attacks like that wouldn't be enough to kill one of his kind. However, that wasn't his focus at the moment. As soon as Lilith's hand touched his, the woman would see everything flash in a strange gray hue--almost as though she were in a tube--before finding herself back at the top of the mountain, next to the ruins of the library. It was here that Amias could finally relax, and they could repurpose themselves on what had just transpired. What they had just battled was a watered-down version of what used to be his ultimate nemesis; Amala in her prime was the strongest opponent he had ever faced. What existed now was a shadow, a shameful shell of her former power and prestige.
"It is truly disheartening, you know...when one realizes how much of a toll the years have taken on his species. I'm thankful to not have been one of those with a power that potent, but still..." He took a few steps forward, until he could see off the edge of the cliff. It was tall enough to where Amala was now completely out of their view--especially since a long stretch of extremely tall trees now blocked his view--but he was certain that she hadn't made impact with the ground. If anything, she'd used her energy as a medium to return to her hiding place. "We have only one option now. If you were able to discover her pattern in the short vestige you were able to take, then we can whittle down our options until we find the next suitable human. At which point, we must bait her out of hiding and destroy her completely. If she realizes that we're onto her--what she plans on doing--then Amala will simply flee to another town and continue her existence the way she has up until now." He stepped back from the cliff, and turned to Lilith once more before continuing. "To my knowledge, Amala's only weakness is to completely destroy her body. If even a small part of her remains, she can restore most of her physical form without much effort at all. If we can accomplish this, then we can rest easy; Amala can't do anything without a large majority of her physical body. If you noticed during our fight, her arms were a key conductor in how she used her energy. If we can remove her arms...then she has to use only her mind to manipulate energy." Whether or not Lilith was getting his point remained to be seen, but he would get to it in a matter of seconds.
"To put a long story short...the next time we fight her, she needs to use as much energy, as quickly as she can, and as soon as she can. The more times she uses her power, the weaker her body will get without life force; eventually, we could simply kill her with our bare hands."
The she-devil couldn't help but smile when the cannonball and Amala became close and personal friends. Their little scheme had paid off wondrously and the pagan b***h was sent plummeting off of the cliff and down towards the ground. Lilith would put money on the fact that the decaying woman was far from finished. Nothing was that easy, and if what Amias said was actually true then pagans were a lot harder to kill than that. She had wanted to watch Amala fall but the moment her hand was secured in the novice's it felt like they had teleported. No, that wasn't the right way to explain it. It was more as if the space between where they were and where Amias wanted to go suddenly disappeared. When she felt her boots meet stone and snow she braced herself and stood upright. For a moment Lilith was silent, a very unusual thing for her to do. "Well isn't that a nice trick." Those moments never lasted long for her. She looked at Amias with a slightly better understanding of what it was he could do, this power of his that allowed him to do such grandiose things. Both him and Amala were pagans of course, but their powers differed greatly. Lilith couldn't help but wonder if there actually were any similarities between one pagan from the next. Was it merely that they were the first to weild magic and have the know-how to actually put it to use? That question for now would remain unanswered, for there were other things to set her mind to.
Lilith reached one hand up and ran it through her hair, setting it back in place with as much effort as it took to breath. It was a trait of her kind, and their counterpart dickhead brethren the incubi, to always look their best. No matter what she put herself through Lilith just seemed to look like she stepped right out of a salon. This time was no exception. She didn't bother to look over the edge to try and catch sight of Amala. She'd bet her a** that the woman was long gone by now. Briefly Lilith thought on what Amias said. What would she do if the longer she used her powers the uglier she got? Lilith scoffed underneath her breath and shook her head. Her kind didn't work like that. This particular vixen would never be ugly. She would never have to worry about wrinkles, or her skin sloughing off like Amala, or even crow's feet at the corner of her eyes. Not unless thats the look she wanted to portray of course. Lilith could craft her own visage and body on a whim. She had done it so many times her original face was like a fading dream. One you could barely recall, maybe a feeling or two and nothing more. "I'm sure posing as gods didn't help either." Lilith said with a certain poison in her voice reserved for insults and demeaning others. That was another talent of hers, probably a race thing as well. Even she knew better than to vie for something so grand. Sure, she wanted the power to manipulate others as easy as it was to snap her fingers. But it wasn't nations she wanted, or even thousands of adoring zealots and sycophants. Lilith could have those whenever, but it was all pointless. There was only one being that she cared to have notice her, and it was in his name and way that she lived. All this pain and pleasure was for none other than herself, just as He would live. Growing stronger would only allow her to bring both of those on a much larger scale. She turned away from the cliff and began the trip back to the town, keenly aware of the gathering villagers. It seemed just about everyone had turned up to see what the hell was going on. "While you and the b***h were getting reacquainted with each other I was busy actually doing something worthwhile. Turns out that toxic whore has a taste for busty brunettes." Lilith said, opening her arms wide and gesturing to the crowd before them. There was not a single woman like that present. "Do you happen to see any of them?" Maybe Amala had picked the village clean of those types of women in her mad race against karma catching up to her a**. If that really was the case then the dynamic duo was about to hit a wall. Of course if Lilith was anything but herself. She motioned for Amias to follow and the woman cut through the crowd like a knife. People often stared as she walked by, in awe of her face or one part of her body or another. But this time it was about the battle. They stared in fear at the two of them, wondering if anymore raw destruction was going to be brought down on them.
Lilith was in a particular mood by the time they made it out of the crowd. Amias' plan was secure and sound, but they had to lure Amala out first. She led him to the remnants of the library and turned suddenly, shedding her jacket and ripping her shirt right over her head. "I don't feel like going door to door to find out if we have any lucky winners to play worm on a hook for us, so I'll do it." Lilith shook out her hands and let the energy wash over her body. As she was enveloped by that energy the change began to happen. It started with her hair, and then all at once. Her skin tone darkned slightly as her hair did, the straight blonde hair curling and browning until it was a rich auburn color. Flecks of green poured into her eyes until they were a lovely hazel shade. Her bust shot out about three sizes until her bra was just about bursting in an attempt to contain them. Lilith looked down at herself and in a completely different voice asked a rhetorical question. "These look about right to you?" She said as she turned slightly to get a look at her new and shapely a**. As usual, Lilith was down right gorgeous. She was fuller in the hips and best described as voluptuous. Most importantly she looked human. The succubus slipped her shirt back on with a bit of a struggle and chose to carry her jacket. She'd need a change of clothes to pull this one off perfectly. "So Ammy," Lilith started as she headed towards the center of town to look for a shop of sorts. "I'm trusting you to be on ******** point when the c**t makes her reappearance. I'd rather not end up as a succubus stroganoff or however she likes her meals, mmkay?" Lilith said without pause as she entered the shop. It took only a few minutes for her to reappear, and when she did it was in probably the most modest outfit she had ever worn in her life. She had chosen a white turtleneck that hugged her new twinset of gloriousness very nicely, emphasizing her bust while making the rest look slimming. A set of slim, black pants and simple boots was the finisher. She left her curly hair down, letting it cascade down her back in rivulets of that sun-catching auburn hue. Like this Lilith would be hard to miss, and yet she wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. She clapped her hands once to signal she was ready and nodded to Amias. Lilith was ready to execute whatever plan Amias had to lure the b***h out.

Even now, after Amala had been temporarily repelled, Lilith took another stab at his entire race. Amidst the struggle, and even being able to clearly see that Amias wasn't quite a prideful as his brethren, her prerogative was still to label all Pagans as the same thing. In truth, he couldn't blame her; the first three hundred years or so were basically heaven on earth for all Pagans; they were the subjects of worship, they were empowered, and they had more influence than even the modern day emperors. Many of his kind had taken this power too far, and decided that it would remain this way even when the other supernatural races began to unearth themselves. It was at this point that pagan decline began; no matter how powerful they were, or how revered...they were outnumbered. The arrogance of the pagan gods--as well as their unwillingness to adapt to the changing times--is what caused discontent amongst the other races, and ultimately the reason for their collapse as the spiritual leaders of Axiom.
So to be frank, he didn't blame her; he couldn't. But even so...to think that he was still just another one of them. That he served her purposes at the moment, but he'd be another of those egotistical fools the second this job was complete...it was sickening. "It is true that we were once revered as gods. But I do not believe it was unwarranted. At that time, we were the only shield for the humans against monsters. Were it not for our passion towards humans...Axiom would not be what it is today. Succubi and Incubi would not have targets for their seduction. Fairhairs wouldn't have bodies to add to their population, and vampires wouldn't have supple nutrition. Without the spiritual presence of humans that EVERY creature in Axiom feeds off in some way, shape, or form...not a single one of the supernatural races would even exist. So I believe the first few hundred years were well-deserved." Ultimately...this was where he drew the line. While those first few centuries made perfect sense...
"However. Those of us who decided that this reign as gods should continue forever...those were the ones that ultimately decided our fate. They foolishly displayed their power to anyone willing to watch in a bid to gain more adoration and followers. When their tricks were all but expired, the other races grew tired of them; most of us didn't last long after that." He paced from side to side, reminiscing on the days when life as a Pagan was truly impossible. "After those days of heedless flaunting, we were hunted zealously. There existed a death penalty simply for being one of my kind. It was only the few of us--no more than a dozen or so--that got through the hunt alive. We laid low, kept our heads to the ground...we didn't gloat about our abilities. Those who didn't adapt to change--those who attempted to deify themselves eternally--were the ones that died." At this point, he would let sleeping dogs lie. No matter what he said, or what explanation he gave...the pagans had done enough damage to their reputations that even the few that weren't so boastful would be punished for eternity as a result. It was then that Lilith got into the conversation of catching Amala. Fair-skinned, busty brunettes? It definitely sounded like something that Amala would pursue. Her wants and needs were somewhat shallow, but when it came to appearances, she was a superficial as they came.
"This is good. If we know what Amala is after, we can bait her our rather easily. She's never been the type to take a loss gracefully, so you can bet that she'll be back for more within a few hours or so...after her energy has had time to recuperate. That's when we need to finish her off. Otherwise, she'll most likely need to find more women of this...criteria in order to continue her existence. If we can finish her off now--while she's at her weakest--we can save ourselves a lot of trouble in the future." Even in that last fight, it was almost as though he were fighting a ghost of his former adversary; a shell of what once was a woman with the power to challenge even Genesis. A pang of regret shuddered his spine...even if she were his opponent, was it really his place to hunt down the rest of his kind? What good would it do him to remove everyone else's existences from this planet, until he was the last one standing?
It was then that the woman transformed. Amias wasn't surprised, to be frank; for anyone to assume that this was his first dealing with incubi and succubi would be foolish. To be on the safe side, the man had chosen not to assume anything about Lilith. It was the reason he'd lived in perfect health longer than most of the other pagans could ever dream. Even Amala--who could conform to some degree--was cursed with a vanity that would render her completely obsolete in the future. A vanity that Amias planned to take full advantage of at this point in time. "It may take a little while...but there is a way to lure her out indefinitely. Go into the crowd, and use a bit of that magic of yours to single yourself out from everyone else. Make yourself noticeable." With that, Amias stepped away from her, and to the edge of the cliff once more. Using his particular ability, the ground below would seem to raise like a pillar--in truth, he was simply adding more layers of rock underneath it--until he was a solid ten feet in the air above the crowd. This was enough to draw their attention as he spoke.
"My name is Amias. I have come to you with a very simple--yet important--message. Your town has recently come under attack by an entity known as Amala. I will give you a brief description, so that you may avoid being attacked by this vicious, hideous woman once more." Already, he could feel the energy moving. Truth be told, he hadn't expected a gratification this instant. But times had changed; perhaps she was more volatile now in her old age? "Currently, she looks deplorable. I shot off half of her face and most of her right arm, so she most likely looks more like an undead wench more than anything else." This got a chuckle from the crowd; it was time to use that to his advantage. "Yes, pretty sad. In fact, I would say that Amala is weaker now than she's ever been. Uglier now, less in shape...she's basically hit rock bottom." The crowd was in an uproar. Laughter, shouting insults to a woman they had never met...these humans were spitting on her visage as though she were nothing.
It was exactly what he needed. The ground began to tremble violently, silencing all of the humans nigh-instantly. The tremors soon increased, growing more powerful as time passed. It didn't take Amias long to figure out what was happening; Amala was running up the side of the mountain...in her true form. And she was pissed. Of course, the damage that existed from before was still there--so she was still ugly--but with her new traits, that didn't seem to matter very much.
With unseen ferocity and unimaginable speed, she lunged forward. With the force of her rush alone, a solid chunk of the cliff's face was torn off, falling to the ground way down below. With one strike, she completely obliterated the pillar Amias was standing on, and leaped into the air with enough force to scar the ground and tear the skies. Her claws were stopped by Amias' smoky energy before she could reach him, leaving the two only inches away from certain death. "Now this...this is the Amala I remember. The bloodthirsty monster that would go to whatever lengths necessary to secure her own power. But how long can you keep this up, Amala? How long can we do this dance before your body gives out? I wonder." In the blink of an eye, the two disappeared completely. Only in faint glimpses in the sky would they come back into view, clashing and disappearing once again. They were performing a deadly dance that was nigh-impossible to see with the naked eye. Their energies were twisting and clashing, creating shockwaves powerful enough to whip Lilith's hair around on the ground. With each furious clash, an incredibly loud boom erupted through the air like a shotgun blast. By now, the townspeople had fled, leaving only Lilith as the spectator. Thankfully...Amala was enraged beyond the point of reasoning now, and her ability to detect Lilith as a transformed succubus was beyond saving.
They would continue this dance for a while, clashing like two boulders at mach five. However, even Lilith would be able to notice something...off about Amala. Every time she reappeared, it looked as though her body was falling apart. Under normal circumstances, she would be wiping the floor with Amias right now. Even now...her power was drastically weaker than what it used to be, and they were breaking even. Her body was falling apart...and they were breaking even. What she used to be was an absolute demon, now reduced to a shriveled shell. Now it was time for the coup de grace.
"Shouldn't you be fueling up, Amala? From the looks of it, you'll croak at any time now." For a moment, realization played across her face; she knew that she needed to sustain herself. At that moment, Lilith could have noticed a set of two smoky, grey circles forming around her. They would form a donut-shape around her, with her in the direct center. Before she could blink...she was then face-to-face with Amala, with one of her claws only inches from her face. However, something was amiss; Amala couldn't move her attack any further, like Lilith was shielded. "Poor, poor Amala...even at the end, the truth I told you these long eight hundred years ago remains the same. Me, you, this world...we're nothing. You are nothing." He raised his palms, and the circles would fill with Lyr. Try as she might, no matter how many times she brutalized the barrier in front of Lilith, she couldn't break through.
Then, without warning, Amala's entire body would be utterly and brutally evaporated, almost melted away without mercy or hesitation. Her screams would soon be cut to murmurs as her lungs were vaporized; as soon as the deed was complete, the barrier fell and the Lyr disappeared. Amias was standing just outside the barrier, with a disappointed look on his face. "That was...brief."
Lilith could tell she was hitting a nerve with Amias, even if he wasn't necessarily growing agitated. It was more of an exasperation. Whatever it was the succubus enjoyed getting a rise out of people. If she didn't want to sleep with them or get them to fall for her in one way or another then it was a game of how quick she could get on their nerves. With his sudden launch into a history lesson the girl knew she was on the right track. To be completely honest Lilith did not give one single ******** as to what the current, future, or past status of the pagans actually was. There was a very small amount of things the woman actually cared to care for. That's not to say it wasn't interesting. He spoke about what everyone knew, albeit from a skewed perspective. It may be that the pagans were what stood between humanity and destruction but they sure as ******** were not humble about it. No matter how much Amias claimed that his race was the reason everyone was what they were it did not cover up nor justify how they acted. It was manipulation in its purest form; getting the masses to believe that their strength was the one true strength, that no other gods could rival their powers. Pagans were the same as every other supernatural race, just older and weilding egos large enough to rival the Nephilim. "Don't get so preachy about it, honey." Lilith said as she haughtily flipped her hair over her shoulder and walked onward. There was no need for Amias to beat around the bush and preach his s**t to her. Lilith understood. "I get it, alright? Even I do the same s**t; I make people fall for me. It may be even worse than what you and yours did. It isn't just worship on my part, these suckers literally think I could love them back. They vie for my attention, yearning for my touch, or even just a glance in their direction. We have the power to act, so why the ******** not?" The woman said as she headed towards the center of town, speaking very honestly. Lilith had no reason to not be honest about this. Every single supernatural knew it to be true, and it was only the ones who admitted to being an insidious person that Lilith cared to be around. The high and mighty deserved to be struck down so that they could realize they were made out of the same s**t as the rest of us. "People like Amala, those who've managed to get their heads so far up their asses; those are the ones that I like to use to create a picture for a whole group. I'm not a nice person, I don't pretend to be, Amias. Don't butter things up and paint a pretty face on it, and maybe we can actually be friends." Lilith said with a wink and a smirk. Almost instantaneously she set her mind back to what they were actually here to do, and it seemed as if Amias wanted to do the same.
What Lilith didn't expect was to just stand there while all the s**t happened. As Amias lifted himself skyward and spoke about Amala, the succubus worked her magic. She made it so people were amped up in their reactions, riling the crowd up so it was more of a roar of insults instead of a small wave. Lilith turned up her sexy and brought attention to herself as well, forcing those weak enough to fall under her seduction to stare at her and cause a stir amongst them. The fact that Amias' plan actually worked made Lilith shake her head. "You truly are a dumb b***h." She said once the woman shot forth and decimated the pillar of earth. Almost instantly the crowd dispersed. Lilith pretended to get caught in the crowd and made it seem like she was trying to get away to. As it became aware that Amala was becoming lesser, Amias offered the bait. Lilith lagged behind the crowd of people trying to make an escape, making her an obvious target. As Amala's power closed in on her Lilith put on a good ******** show. She screamed in acted as if she was truly in terror. But when Amias' lyr wrapped around her and shielded her, that scream died down into laughter. Lilith, while floating in the air, practically doubled over in her fit. As she did her body began to return to the form she preferred, blonde and eloquently cute. "Ah, we had you going there for a moment, didn't we? You dumb a** whore, feening for your next fix of busty bimbos. Your own vain obsession with trying to look remotely as good as me really ******** you over!" Lilith shouted over all of the chaos and s**t going on. When Amias wrapped his s**t around Amala the succubus snapped her fingers to get the pagan b***h's attention. She met her eyes and winked, blowing a very sarcastic kiss before Amala was reduced to nothingness. The hold over Lilith was released and she descended, landing lithely on her feet. For a moment she just stood there, and then suddenly clapped her hands against her thights. "Welp, that was fun. See you back home. And make sure they pay you, you didn't do have bad. But you're still a nugget." Lilith said with a smirk tilting her lips. As an after thought the succubus paused, turning back to Amias with a glint in her eye. "Oh, Amias. I've a problem I want you to solve. Some of my workin' gals haven't been showing up to work." There was a deadly tone to her voice. Lilith never treated her employees harshly so long as they fulfilled their duties. She had expanded her business and having the girls not show up meant that she was losing money. "Find out where the ******** they are. If someone else is causing trouble for my business, I want their head mounted on a plaque in my office." With that last bit of toxin having dripped out of her mouth Lilith made her exit.
Lilith was making her merry way back to Luimira, her beloved City of Sin, when she felt another wave of energy. It was a lot weaker than Amala or even Amias but it was still something. With an exasperated sigh the succubus turned on her heels and directed her way towards the crater where Toya and Abel were currently battling the chimera that completely outclassed him. A smirk of joy spread to her face at the prospect of watching some mindless beast pick its teeth with Abel's bones. Toya was of course a shade, so he was going to be just fine. The beast roared and charged at the two and bowled into a group of undead. Lilith laughed and clapped her hands, which of course caught the beasts attention. Two of its heads roared while the dragon on reared back and took in a breath. The succubus suddenly turned fierce. All she wanted to do was sit and enjoy the show, not actively partake in this. When the dragon shot its fire at her Lilith swiped her hand through the air as if she was swatting away a fly. With her flame deflection ability the fire reared to the left and burned against the ground. Her other hand gestured to a car sized boulder and lifted it with relative ease. Lilith shot the rock forth and slammed the boulder into the dragon's head. "Get off your asses and cut the damn heads off!" The Captain of Nocturne's guard shouted at the boys. Now was not the time for exploring their homoerotic feelings that were apparently lingering from their last encounter with Lilith.
Amias listened briefly to what Lilith had to say, but he mostly just shrugged it off; he knew that she--and most everyone else in axiom--was going to despise the Pagans from now until eternity no matter what he did. So he let his case rest for now. It was after that when she left...it seemed like she had other prerogatives, but that wasn't his concern either. Instead, he began making his way down the mountainside, returning to Luimira City for his next mission; one that was assigned to him by Lilith as she walked away. He--as well as two others that had been assigned the same mission--were to investigate the disappearances of some of her girls. The Red Light District was their target location. Thankfully, it didn't sound quite as difficult as this mission...the one they'd just gotten done with.
Truth be told, Amias knew that Amala wasn't dead. A more...specific ritual was required to kill the Pagan God of Reality, and though his power wasn't at that point yet, the modern-day mission system would serve to increase the power and energy in his body to levels where he would surpass all of the other Pagans to some degree. Well...save for Genesis, that is. To this day, Amias was quite certain that there wasn't a Pagan alive that could truly stand up to Genesis. The father of all Pagan gods, and the Pagan God of the Beginning. Perhaps it was a fable; a tale passed down from the most influential pagans at the very beginning. Many of them told stories of this god's power, that he could wield space and time like it were a blade. Dimensions crumbled under his power...
This was most of the stories that were told about the old pagans, though. Even the fables of Amias were skewed beyond repair; tales of him blinking away entire meteorites and walls of fire simply vanishing in his wake. They hailed him as a great destroyer back in the days of Pagan glory. In his time, he was unsurprisingly one of the most famous pagans around. However, he was a wee bit wiser than most of the other members of his species. As he'd told Lilith, Amias knew when it was time to lay his head low and stop playing god; his survival depended on it. Only Pagans with incredible latent power--like Amala and Genesis--were able to continue their reign as gods even amidst the powerful races that now existed on Axiom. For now, however, he left. As they say commonly, duty calls.
Here...yet again. But this time, Amias' circumstances were a bit different. Unlike last time they were here--them being Amias and Lilith in their search to find and kill Amala, the Pagan god of Reality--this time, Amias was here for a solo mission. Well...not a mission, per say, but a personal escapade. With the recent, more personal interaction between monsters and gods, a new way was paved for all creatures of axiom to obtain...more. By willingly obtaining the essence of a power from another creature, one could augment their own power by a significant degree. Given that his ability to speak in Demonica was rather astute, Amias found it most suitable that he aim to acquire a power of a similar facet; the strength of a Diabolus. His search had led him to Gettera town, where rumors of a wounded demon residing had spread far and wide. Amias was here not only to investigate the seriousness of his injuries, but to find out if it would be possible to convince this demon to give up his power in exchange for a new life in hell--as a real demon. In his time, Amias had come across many ancient texts, even spoken with other pagan gods about it--rumors of demonic beings that would influence others using the concentrated powers of hell. If the demons of hell were that powerful in their own realm, perhaps he could use that information to persuade his now injured target to give over his power. Until that point though...meager speculation was pointless.
In order to find his quarry, Amias' first destination was the bar. Thankfully, it had been renovated since last he'd visited; after their run-in with Amala, the aftermath of their battle had nearly torn the place down. With an anonymous donation and some pooling of the townsfolks' money, they were able to quickly rebuild, so that the raunchy debauchery could continue. The way this tavern was now, Lilith might have actually enjoyed it. If she weren't busy trying to conquer the red-light district, perhaps he'd take her here sometime. After his first few steps into the bar, he was greeted with cheers and raised mugs. The people of this town hadn't forgotten that Amias and Lilith had saved their town from Amala...
It felt good; being praised and hailed once again. Granted, it was nothing like the olden days, where even the sight of one of his people would cause entire crowds to fall to their knees. They weren't gods anymore. Nor should they be. Amias shook his head, refusing to go into another one-sided mental soliloquy about how grandiose the past was. Instead, he composed himself and walked quickly to the bar. The man there--Jorge, as they'd last acquainted--would know what Amias needed to; word didn't travel faster in any other part of town than the tavern, and Jorge was basically a black box by this point.
"Amias! How can we help you, friend? It has been far too long since you had a glass of our ale! Sit, sit!" Jorge was zealous, as usual. A man of his trade could do nothing if not sell his wares. Honestly, their ale WAS good, but the Pagan had little patience for idle folly this time around. It didn't take long for his host to tell, either; Jorge's rosy cheeks quickly straightened, and he rested one elbow on the counter in order to get closer. This was a private chat for sure.
"Unfortunately, Jorge, I don't have that kind of time." His voice was a low murmur, and even though the curious patrons around them wanted a piece of the conversation, it was well out of their reach without appearing obvious. "I'm looking for the wounded demon. Rumors are going around that one of the demonfolk has taken up shelter in this town, and I need to know where." His eyes, steeled and focused, picked up immediately to the wavering that had now consumed Jorge's face. Looking further down, Amias saw it; His legs were completely burned, held up now only by poles tied to the sides. After looking back up, Amias was now staring into the blood-red eyes of a demon. "Jorge..."
"You didn't need to look into this, Amias. But you have, and now I run the danger of revealing myself to these people. If you want to talk that badly, into the back room with you." Jorge's demeanor shifted near-instantaneously into something the old man had never seen before. As they walked--ever slowly due to Jorge's injuries--into the backroom, he noticed something else. In this room, various vials and fluids lined the shelves on the walls. And not a single one of them were alcoholic. Before he could inquire, Jorge's voice cut the air once again. "I've tried everything. There is no tonic, no serum that exists in this world that can reverse what's been done to me. After battling a group of Nephilim that remained from Amala's attacks, I lost both of my legs...and my left arm." After removing the sleeve from his left arm, Amias would see that it was just a dummy arm that he'd been using to fool his patrons.
"Why run a bar, then? Diabolus aren't the type to associate with humans, let alone get along with them. What inspired you to do something like this instead of just dying?" It was a question that pierced directly to the heart of the issue. Jorge was a Diabolus, that much was obvious. But for a race of creatures that were normally so prideful and aloof...why choose a life like this? Why put up with the drunken stupor of humanity, when there are so many other ways to live out the rest of his existence?
"There are rumors, Amias. Rumors that even we demons can survive by feasting on the life force of humans. Even if their life force is significantly weaker than ours, if I can get enough...perhaps I can reverse the damage that was done to me. I can live again, walk again." For a while, Jorge was simply...ranting. Going on about how the life force of humans really could bring him back from the brink, and make him something whole again. "Amias, with enough humans, I could become--"
"That's enough, Jorge." By now, the old man was visibly irritated. "What you're suggesting is no more righteous than the path that Amala sought in order to retain her immortality. And you saw what happened to her. She was rotting away, her body a broken shell of the proud soul that used to live within it. Is that what you want to become? Do you want to become some sort of half-dead, wretched monster that lives only for the sake of living? What kind of existence is that, even? What would you have to justify such a life?" The sudden onslaught took even a wise man like Jorge aback. For a short while, he was stuttering, trying to come up with a convincing counter-argument, a justification for the acts he were willing to commit for the sake of remaining alive. "Why remain on this planet the way you are, Jorge? Why not just go to your home, and live your life as a REAL demon? These are the rumors that I've heard. Rumors of demonic influence from hell reaching over to this plane. If those demons are so powerful over there, that their influence can reach across realms...why wouldn't you want to be a part of that? What's stopping you from going and reaching that wellspring of power that's most definitely waiting for you on the other side?" By now, Amias was preaching, his arms reaching out to his sides, palms open and facing his quarry.
"So you think I should just give up? I should just die? That's a loser's way out. I am not a loser. I'm better than that. Even if...even if I can't fight anymore. Even if I can't use both of my arms anymore. I'm still alive." He was grasping at straws. The old man's argument really was...kind of convincing. The prospect of living in hell among his fellow demonfolk was an alluring prospect, but with only one arm, the likes of which had limited mobility...even Jorge lacked sufficient resources to end his own live, what with his skin being practically made of steel. "Then, Amias...what would you have me do, then? If this argument of yours really is true, and true demon power lays on the other side...then why bring this up to me? Why not let me suffer and not obtain that power? That's what you pagans are all about, right? Keeping all the power for yourselves, leaving everyone else to starve."
"I would be lying if I told you I weren't in this partially for my own personal gain, Jorge. And I am not a liar." His words, sharper than a blade, lashed out at Jorge with more ferocity than he'd intended. Moreso, a look of bemusement played across Jorge's face. In a way, he expected that. "But this benefits both of us. Look at yourself, Jorge. You've already told me that nothing works, and if you think the frail souls of humans will sustain your form, you've been pitifully misinformed. Amala had to physically possess their bodies, and even then it only lasted a few days at best. That's not living. That's existing for no purpose at all. In hell, you will be awakened. You will be empowered, stronger than any creature in this realm could ever dream to be. Why make yourself suffer here, when all of that glorious power waits for you in hell? Why inconvenience yourself with those injuries, why hold yourself back? You can be whatever you want to be in hell...some of us don't get that luxury." He rested his case, and much to his surprise, Jorge stood before him...a coy grin on his face. "Are you still not convinced? What more is there for you to know?"
"I need to know your angle, Amias. Just what kind of benefit you'd obtain from telling me all of this information. What's your stance?" Now he was getting to the difficult part. Convincing a self-centered race like the Diabolus to just...hand over their power was no simple task. But...the old man was wise, and he had an idea of how to do just that. For a while, Amias paced, allowing his intellectual adversary to sweat out his response in anticipation; the more he wanted to hear the answer, the more he would cling to the words, and the more effective and convincing his argument would be. A common interrogation tactic as well, but this one was more...singularly purposed than any torture method could be. "C'mon then, spit it out!"
"I want the power of yours that exists on this plane, Jorge. I want to take what remains of your mortal life force and combine it with mine. I want to become a Diabolus." At this, the demon's face paled. How unthinkable it must be, for someone like a Pagan, to stoop so low as to ask for power. "I know that you can't kill yourself, Jorge. And the death I'm giving to you would be far less painful than the other means you'd need to resort to in order to find someone capable of ending your life. You go to hell and ascend to what you were always meant to be, and I use the power that you leave on this plane. Nothing is wasted. Only gained. What I'm proposing is a win-win situation, Jorge, and the best deal you'll get for a nice, relatively painless death. Most others would see you executed, and I've heard that their methods for killing demons aren't...exactly the nicest way to go."
"So that's your angle...more power, eh? I suppose i can't be surprised. You Pagans always were that way, vying for your own personal gain, even if it means stamping out the lights of others to get what you need to. This scenario is no different. You're using me for my power, offering up a reward at the end that may or may not be what you say it is. How can you be so sure that hell gives its demonic inhabitants such a good reward? Do you have any proof, or are we going simply off blind speculation. I know you're not a fool, Amias. And I expect you realize the same of me. If I am going to accept this proposal, I'll need more than your word." He was so...so very close to closing this bargain. But he needed to use his trump card.
"I don't need to prove that Hell will grant you these powers in order to close this deal, Jorge. I need only prove that devouring the souls of humans will not bring back your physique. I need only prove that nothing remains in this world for you, and even if hell does not grant you the powers I say it does...at least you'll be able to walk again." With a snap of his fingers, Amias seemed to summon one of the humans from the bar. As much as it pained him to do this...it was necessary to prove his point. "I have here one of your patrons. If you believe that absorbing her life will grant you physical regeneration, I invite you to try." After binding her hands, the Pagan god tossed the woman to the floor at Jorge's feet. "Show me exactly what you plan to do with the rest of humanity, and give me your final answer when you realize that it won't work. And when you're ready to accept my deal..." From seemingly thin air, Amias produced a book. Presumably, the book containing the ritual for absorbing another creature's power. "We'll get started."
Jorge--being a Diabolus and harboring no regret toward murder or anything of the like--quickly reached down and gripped the woman's skull. Red, vein-like pulses of energy would surge between them as he sucked the life force from her body. The process stole so much energy from her, so quickly, that she didn't even have enough energy to resist or scream. During the process, Jorge's legs quickly began to reform. A demonic grin crossed his face as he looked down with realization; he was right. But when he looked to Amias, Jorge was horrified to see that the old man was still smiling. Soon, he realized why. Almost instantly after the life force was done transferring, his wounds would begin to reassert themselves. His newly restored legs would begin blackening and crumbling away, returning to their old form within seconds. The use of one human life sustained him only so long as he absorbed the power. "This is preposterous...Amias...how did you know this would happen?"
"Like I said...I've seen it happen before. Amala stole their body as well as their life force, and that only gave her a solid vessel for a couple of days at best, even when she didn't expend any of her energy. In order to live your life with full mobility, you would need to constantly be absorbing the life of humans...and that's not an entertaining way to live. Take my deal, Jorge. Cross over into demonic paradise, and quit struggling in a life that will continually disappoint you anyway." After the man nodded, Amias began the ritual. In a deep, full voice, he read the inscriptions inside of the book. Because he himself wasn't a mage, he required assistance from artifacts like the book to use magic of this level. Before long, what appeared to be a sort of transmutation circle would form around the pair, the energy in the area dramatically increasing as Amias finished each verse. When the energy was at its peak, Amias did it; he plunged his hand into Jorge's chest, gripping his demonic heart as a means of absorbing his dark power. The flow of energy was...exhilarating. Even though Jorge's body may have been damaged, the power of the Diabolus within his soul was still pure; every last drop of that wellspring of power poured into Amias' body, causing a very dramatic appearance change as well as a power spike. His skin would seem to tighten, the appearance of old age quickly exiting his body entirely. When the transfer was over, and Jorge's lifeless body hit the floor, Amias felt...renewed. Rejuvenated and more powerful than ever. With his youthful appearance, his first thought was to go to Lilith and see if she even recognized him, but wiser heads prevailed. Without a trace, Amias vanished, his goal clearly in mind.
Lilith hadn't expected an invitation like that from Amias. Here she was in Gettera Town once more, awaiting the arrival of the very same pagan. This time they weren't hunting some scrub calling herself a god. What they were doing may as well have been apple picking. Zacariah had declared all humans and all Vangelists free to slay, and the people of Gettera Town had decided against evacuation. They believed the sun that touched them up here would save them from the brunt of vampires and shades that could attack, but oh were they wrong. "Oh Amias, you shouldn't have." Lilith muttered to herself when she mounted a snow-capped hill, gazing down at the newly fortified town. It seemed the humans were not completely stupid, just mostly. Huge walls surrounded the mountain village and more importantly something not visible encased it as well. Lilith pursed her lips and crossed her arms over her chest, triyng to get a feel for what it was exactly. It seemed that there was a constant source of energy pulsating around, creating a barrier of sorts. Dark eyes scanned the markets and homes until they reached the base of the lone Watch Tower. That was the source. Their self-given task was fairly straight forward at this point. Enter the village through whatever means they chose, destroy the watch tower and mercilessly slay as many people as they damn well please. Lilith herself packed enough firepower to level this entire place in one go, but where was the fun in that. The succubus had already made the decision to not use her Queen of Pain armor, that would make this too easy. Even her whip was going to stay inside and unused. Gettera Town would serve as a fine testing ground for the new powers Lilith had under her command. She couldn't help but smirk in anticipation. Excitement coursed through her body and had her fidgeting constantly.

Perhaps Lilith would expect it this time; the sudden appearance of the nugget. Seeing as how he'd gotten the drop on her at Fort Makath, she may not have wanted to be scared like that again. "Ahh...my apologies for being late to the event that I organized. Some other affairs came up that I couldn't really ignore." Other than that, the two were all set to go. Looking down on the town himself, Amias noted the same thing Lilith had--increased fortifications, an energy barrier--with a great bit of dismay. "Hmm...so they've got some sort of energy field protecting the entire town. But, if it's made of energy, perhaps...." He looked to Lilith one more time with a sudden look of curiosity on his brow. Followed by a ever so slight grin before he disappeared. It would only be a couple of minutes before he returned, giving her little time to wonder where he'd gone. "As i suspected, the barrier is of a...holy nature. Most of the shielding techniques that exist on this plane at least descended from holy attributes. If we're dealing with opponents that can harness holy energy, we're gonna have to be more careful than I'd originally planned." With that in mind, however, Amias would begin making the trek down the side of the abnormally large hill they were on. It would take them well below the ground level of the city, meaning the pair would need to fight their way up the side of a small mountain just to reach the city and penetrate the barrier. "If you've got any specific barrier-penetrating skills, you may want to let me know now. Otherwise, I guess you'll have to learn once and for all...just what the nature of my powers really are. I recall you having been a little interested in that last time, so perhaps we'll make it a personal goal to establish that this time around?" He turned around, his newly young face giving her a subtle wink and grin before continuing up the path. They weren't quite to the point of conflict yet, but they were extremely close.
As for what he were doing beforehand--why he was late--he felt that at least Emperor West needed to know about Zachariah's commandeering of the Kingdom of Nocturne. If Zachariah wanted so badly to go to war, it would help for his opponents to know first, so that they could prepare and give the god the most fruitful, lengthy bouts of combat as were possible on this third plane. Otherwise, with his power, Zachariah could step in with his demons and eradicate them all without all that much difficulty. This was to give his god his enjoyment, and to give West...fair warning.

• Glory To Me Pagans are very... noble. They have the air of a King or Queen about them; even a divine. This comes from this particular ability. 'Glory To Me' is a mental allure that they constantly release from their vessel, similar to an Incubi's seduction, but weaker. Rather than seducing people, this ability fools their mind. It can make them see things that aren't real. In fact, they can even feel these things. This ability is literally impossible to ignore or break out of, but it serves little benefit other than prestige. A Pagan will often use this power to make themselves appear divine; the sun will rise behind them, their clothing will flow and shine with the breeze, they'll just seem so... God-like. They can even change their appearance using this, although it's a temporary thing. This ability can have some uses in battle, though. For example, if a Pagan is to cast a shadow over themselves, it'd make them harder to see. If they make the sun shine behind them, they can make their enemy flinch away from the overbearing light. They can also fool enemies into thinking they've struck a shield or something like that, although that sort of manipulation over reality is something that only Pagans who focus on this type of power can do.
• The Sight Just like their counterpart the Diabolus can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.
• The Mark of the Devil Each of the Diabolus bloodline maintains the "Mark of the Devil" which signifies their resemblance to their Satanic bloodline. These things are something which cannot simply be ignore and each little trait grants the Diabolus a little gift of a sort. It is a shame that they are born within no more or no less than two traits. Claws/Talons - They fingernails maintain a fixed length of two inches. They are more like hardened, black, obsidian claws than fingernails and can tear through flesh like paper. Fangs - Their canines, both top and bottom, are significantly noticeable to the point of which they protrude from the lip. These fangs maintain a certain gland which fills with the blood of the Diabolus and can spew it in a mass stream of acidic black blood to naturally defend. Horns - To put it simply the horns are a strong asset and maintain an entire move set for their soul capabilities. The strength of the horns, upon birth, are equivalent to strength of a C-Ranked material. With each rank they grow til they cannot. (ex. Trainee=C, Novice=B, Adept=A, Expert=S, Master=SS, Sage=SSS) Tail - Like the horns it is an asset which can maintain an entire skill-set to itself. It works on the same exact system as the Horns do except with speed. It has, essentially, a boost of +2spd. on its own attacks.
This time she felt him coming. His familiar source of ancient energy brushed up against her own, making her turn ever so slightly to greet him. It was refreshing to see his face free of the wrinkles of time. Amias was pleasing to look upon now. So Lilith did just that. "No worries, I was not waiting very long. It gave me a chance to see what these poor excuses for living beings have to protect themselves." Her gaze drifted from the man and back to the invisible barricade. The thought crossed her mind; just how much could that thing take? Spell after spell flitted by, none to her liking. Lilith had recently acquired a large number of ridiculously powerful spells. Even now she could feel the hotter than fire flames itching to burn until there was no more. She would be more than happy to walk right up to the front door and bash on it until it gave way. And then Amias disappeared. The succubus let out a sigh and remained there upon the hill, wondering what the adept was up to. There was something different about Amias Nicht, and it wasn't just his younger form. Lilith sensed a power within him, a strength he did not possess before. So when he proposed to show her just what it was the Pagan God of Nothingness could do, the succubus was more than happy to step aside and let him show off. "Mmmm, I like the sound of that. Let us see what you can do Amias, and maybe I'll give you a taste of my own power." Almost everything that came out of Lilith's mouth could be interpreted as a double entendre. She liked it that way, it gave her an air of mystery and made the game of cat and mouse that much more enjoyable. Lilith strut up the path next to Amias, leaving a slight bit of space between them. If in the event these humans actually were capable of harming them the succubus would need a bit of room around her to strike back. If not there was a chance that her companion would find himself in pieces. The she-devil raised her hand as a signal, letting Amias know it was time to stop. She could feel movement through the earth, the subtle vibrations translating through wizard magic. "Well Amias, looks like you're up. Show me what you can do." She made a sweeping motion as if to show him that the town was all his, just as a set of human heads popped out from behind ports in the walls. They knew they were coming, not that it would make a difference.

For her--a succubus, of all things--to just stand aside and let him show off was an exceedingly rare opportunity. Like his superior, his demonic vision as a Diabolus allowed him to see the energy of the humans before them. It was pitiful, honestly; even for someone of his level--that being an Adept, so not that much more than your typical foot soldier--these beings were just...sad. Their level of energy was little more than a write-off on his blood tax. After briefly scanning their energy with his sight, he determined that a group of thirteen armed humans were watching from within the equally pitifully fortified wall. And so, it were with a snap of his fingers that their fortification...seemed to disappear. In the blink of an eye, a thirty foot stretch of stone wall vanished into thin air, leaving the humans completely defenseless against two demons. Before they--or even Lilith, for that matter--could perceive what had just happened, Amias was gone. The natural speed he moved at was almost twice the speed of his succubus counterpart, and his hand was already plunged deep into the skull of one of the humans before his friendlies could think of reacting.
With the passing of another second, Amias had summoned his cannons. By now, the humans were lunging at him, swords and pitchforks aimed to pierce him without mercy. He only grinned and stood there, watching the humans cower in fear as their weapons failed to even slice his iron-hard skin. Swing and swing as they may, not a single one of them could so much as inflict a scratch on their new opponent. Now came the truly interesting part. After leaping back, nearly a blur of movement as he did so, Amias fired both of his cannons at once. The result? Despite not aiming for any more than two of the remaining dozen humans, every single one of them dropped dead on the spot, cannon shards sticking into each of their bodies. Well, besides one. One human had taken cover well enough to where Amias felt that spending the required energy to reach him with that strike was irrelevant. With one final, hearty charge, the human picked up one of his friendlies' blades, dual-wielding and slicing like a maniac as he charged at the Pagan. What he--and Lilith--would see was a black mass erupting from the lower thoracic vertebrae of Amias' spine. It moved at the absolute pinnacle of creature speed in Axiom, a speed that even his counterpart would find incredibly difficult to perceive. His razor-sharp tail rammed itself through his adversary's stomach, lifting him into the air despite his pained cries. After that, the Pagan's eyes would boil a bloody red, and ebony horns would sprout from his head, about eight inches long. Using these horns, Amias gored his opponent before using another burst of energy to launch him into the air like a firework. With the already present energy of Lyr within him, the God of Nothingness expanded it, ripping his body apart until a rain of blood poured from the sky. A vivid display, and a fitting example for the rest of the human forces that scaled up the mountain.
"Thank you for allowing me to give you a taste, Lilith." He turned to her, blood dripping down his face with a sinister grin and a wink. "I'll let you take the next crowd. I'm pretty curious about you as well." With a snap of his fingers, the final oddity of this battle; the wall, which had been completely removed, now returned to where it once was. Just...what was he?

There were maybe three times in her life that Lilith was in awe, and two of those involved encounters with Lukhan. Amias was almost a complete different being than what he was before. The succubus had gotten a glimpse of his pagan power; the ability to bring things in and out of nothingness. She recalled the cannonball barrage the man had launched out relentlessly against Amala in this very town. When the wall that separated the town from its doom disappeared into thin air with the smallest of gestures Lilith understood what it was. It was the following gust of wind that blew her hair towards her face that confused her. A slender hand reached up and brushed the cascade of gold from her face only to reveal a curious sight. One of the humans was already dead: Amias literally had shoved a hand into his skull. An eyebrow arched in response but there was little time to dwell on the matter. The spikes of fear from each individual human was felt by the she-devil, though she knew it was not hers. Watching Amias deny the humans even the slightest chance of hurting him made Lilith feel something very different from fear. Her full lips parted as she took in a short breath, coinciding with the pagan making a little distance between him and his prey. A cacophony of explosions accompanied the firing of the cannons and Lilith felt her heart beat quicken. She took in the scene of the mortal men passing into cessation. As their corpses hit the ground Lilith felt the urge to reach out as if to grasp their last emotion of terror, fleeting as it was. Their life essence blinked out like candles in the wind, save for one. Without fully knowing it the succubus had taken a few steps forward to get a better look. She could feel the human's energy, sense his every movement and even know his thoughts, but that wasn't enough. There was something primal about watching the hope drain from a person's eyes just before death takes them. Defiance surged through the human, however futile it was. He would not allow himself to pass without giving everything he could for his people. Lilith found herself giggling at that show of inner strength. It was cute for something so hopeless to think it ever had a chance at survival. That man would fall like the rest and would be forgotten. In the next instant Lilith thought she blinked for a moment too long. Amias morphed and produced another instrument of death; a tail. As it pierced the man's body and hefted him into the air the succubus could not help but draw comparisons to that of her Lord. In her eyes Lukhan was a true demon; horned, marred, scarred. He was more than a mere man, and now Amias was too. Lilith closed her eyes for a moment and let the rush of power he was feeling run through her body like a wave of pleasure. She curled her fingers into fists and watched a crown of horns form upon Amias. The man launching into the air and exploding into a rainfall of blood had Lilith biting at her lower lip. She was fit to burst with enthusiasm for bringing even more pain to the world. When Amias looked to her with sanguine streams falling from his face like a painting and a grin befit a harbinger of death Lilith's eyes conveyed exactly what she was feeling. The succubus licked her lips and did not say a word, merely gave Amias a playful smile. Now it was time to play the game her way.
The group of humans the pagan had been so kind to dispatch had been the first to actually see them, giving Lilith a unique opportunity. In an instant her demeanor changed. Where once she stood proud and haughty she looked more like a damsel. The look of superiority that was normally etched on her face gave way to an innocent look of terror. She took in a few breaths until she appeared panicked and ran towards the gates, falling to her knees at the barrier and appearing to be in great distress. Before she had been a necromancer, before she had been a mage or anything else, Lilith had been one hell of an actress. The next wave of humans advanced upon her warily, though did not make a move to attack because Lilith looked human. Wide brown eyes glazed with tears peered at them and a sob escaped from her. The men looked at each other, unsure of what to do. "Please!" Lilith cried out, reaching a slender hand out to grasp at thin air. "H-he killed them all! Please help me!" Tears welled in her eyes; the bait had been set. The men threw away all uncertainties and rushed forward. Two mages held their hands out and opened a hole in the barrier as another set of men worked on cracking the gates open. The humans rushed out and wrapped their arms around her, bringing her into the town. "Tell us what's going on?! Who is that man?" They shouted, crowding around the girl who could barely even stand on her own from the fear that consumed her. The succubus clutched at the nearest man and grasped the back of his neck. The thrill that ran through him at her touch had him stunned, his mouth had fallen open. Lilith pulled him close to her, pushing her body flush against his and leaving but an inch between his ear and her mouth. "He isn't the one you need to worry about." She said, a playful lilt to her words. The man she was touching was far too lost in her seduction to realize what was happening, but the crowd understood something was wrong. They backed away slowly, reaching for swords and nocking arrows, lifting them up preemptively. Lilith changed once more, the poor girl being replaced by a coquettish viper. Her eyes slowly took a turn around the crowd, her hands slowly running down the arms of the man she had under her control. "I don't need you anymore. Go, you are worthless to me." The man's face dropped from his smile to a look of utter pain. He cried out once before releasing his mistress. The man fell to his knees as tears fell from his face. He clutched his sword in hand and before his human compatriots could intervene the man plunged his blade through his heart, ending his life. Lilith laughed, the sound ringing out like hell's bells. The humans shouted in rage and unleashed a torrent of attacks out at Lilith. The first assault was with arrows. With a flick of her eyes they all halted five feet from her, poised to strike. A shock of awe and a fresh wave of horror ran through them. Lilith practically hummed in joy at the feeling of her mark growing hot upon her thigh. "You seem to think you are capable of harming me. You need to understand that you are maggots beneath my boots and I will crush you. Now bow" Lilith motioned with her hands for the humans to fall to their knees and they did. None of them were capable of resisting her charm and now none of them wanted to. With a mere thought Lilith turned the arrows around and launched them through the air. Screams of agony filled the air and the succubus basked in them as if it was music to her ears. Blood seeped into the snow in a circle around her and the men and women who dared to defy her cried and begged to be saved. Lilith had purposefully missed any vital organs in order to heighten the amount of pain she could bring into the world. After all, she fashioned her wants after Lukhan. The pleasure would come later. "Do you understand now? This blight of humanity soon will be wiped away. It is our time now." Lilith's body was soon alight with hot pink energy. She held one palm up in the air as an invisible breeze set her clothes and hair blowing away from her. The snow near her began to melt rapidly as a flame was conjured above her hand. Almost lazily she flicked her wrist forward, and then there was nothing but fire. The flames roared to life in an instant, shooting out all around her and racing towards the gates as if it were alive. The shouting and screaming ended abruptly, for these flames burned hotter than any other. The gates exploded outward with the force of the flames. Lilith stood in a circle of fire, blood, ashes, and corpses. She was looking to Amias with a challenging look on her face, the yearning for another show clearly etched on her.

He could feel it. Her drive, her...it were almost like a lust for pain. A very contradicting idea, one almost poetic at that. The way she reacted to his merciless slaughter of the men, this new, glowing energy of hers; like Amias, Lilith had changed as well. The pagan hadn't seen quite enough of it yet to tell, but so far, the change was pleasurable. Her ability to grasp onto the dying emotions of her victims, the close bond she formed with people she didn't even know...this was a different kind of power. A scary kind of power that Amias could only attribute to the recent changes in the world. This level of affection for the suffering of the deceased wasn't entirely unlike something Amias had seen before, that being the Order. But she was different.
Watching her strut up the hill to put on her grandiose display affected Amias in a way he hadn't experienced in hundreds of years. Perhaps--with this unchaining of her mind, this release into her deepest desires--her seduction powers were also unleashed on all around. Perhaps, in some small way, she was attracting him as well? Unsurprisingly, the acting of a succubus was nearly as formidable as her spells; the guards let her in without instance. Her playful, yet macabre sense of fun was highlighted yet again; Lilith's words alone made one man commit suicide. But even more peculiar than that...was her ability to simply halt the projectiles her adversaries had launched. Dismissing them without a second thought, Lilith then proceeded to douse the immediate onlookers with a wave of viciously hot flames. Although he could tell it was a very potent form of fire magic, Amias wasn't completely dumbfounded by it. As previously stated, his surprise at her sudden change in demeanor took the cake.
At that point in time, however, getting through that barrier before it closed was his main objective. By temporarily removing the space between himself and the opening, Amias was able to slip in near-instantaneously. What awaited him was a small cluster of burning bodies, his succubus counterpart challenging him to do better. "A contest, huh? Alright then, I accept your challenge, Lilith." Moments after finishing his sentence, an extremely potent, ominous aura would overtake Amias' body completely. A black mist would flow from his body, making the immediate area around him more difficult to see through temporarily. He was transforming. With a wave of his hand, the mist blew away in all directions, revealing a terrifyingly grim casing of armor over his body. This was the Pagan's Heathen transformation. Now, with an ominous, evil armor, the horns, and tail of a demon, Amias looked exactly like your textbook demon from hell. But he wasn't done. From his body, two mouthed scythe blades, and three pitch black chains would take shape. As though he were a true visage from hell, Amias descended upon their would-be attackers.
As he entered the crowd of opponents, Amias could see--no, feel--their fear. It quivered in their bones and in their energy, giving him an even more accurate sense of their attacks than normal. His first taker was a hulking man, swinging down an axe from behind. Like most, the soldier's efforts were in vain; one of Amias' chains would soar through the air at unimaginable speeds, stabbing through both of his arms from the right side. A blood-curdling cry of pain escaped his lips as the Demon turned to face him. "My, my...such broad muscles of yours, and you couldn't swing the axe quickly enough to take off my head? Such a shame. But...it doesn't have to end this way for you." The man's allies--temporarily dumbstruck with fear--made no moves on Amias as he continued his glorious execution. His scythe blades began making specific slashes on the man's body; every ligament, every tendon...anything that could make this man move was severed. His cries of pain would fill the air again and again, until he was dropped to the ground in a bloody, whimpering mess. "Do so much as move a muscle, and your entire body will be racked with agonizing pain. So I suggest you just lay there, Like a good little boy, kay?" Adding insult to injury, Amias then kicked the man's kneecap with enough force to shatter it to bits. Couple that with the massive overload of pain it caused all of his severed tendons, and the man was left little more than a drooling mess on the ground by the time he was done screaming.
It as at this point that the others' brains began working again. Only by attacking him en masse did they stand a chance. In a group, the entire circle charged in, weapons at the ready. It was all too predictable. Immediately spinning in a counterclockwise direction, Amias gripped the swinging hand of the man behind him, one of his chains debilitating the opponent in front of him by goring itself through his right thigh. After grabbing the sword arm of his opponent, the Pagan would then obliterate the man's wrist merely by squeezing his hand shut. More blood-curdling screams. The best part. He would then firmly plant his foot on the human's chest, kicking him away with enough force to rip his arm off, in as messily a way as you could imagine. More screams.
With another fluid motion, Amias then shoved his first victim's arm through the stomach of his debilitated front-ender before elbowing him so hard his sternum shattered, sending him flying away at a ferocious rate. The best part? His leg was still on the chain, even after the rest of his body had flown off the side of the cliff. To his right. A firm axe kick to the third man's head completely blew it apart, resulting in a nice, crimson fountain of blood pouring all over Amias once again. Gripping this body by the neck, he then spun around, using the turning momentum to bring the dead body down on one final adversary with enough force to completely crush the bones in both human bodies. Essentially, a flesh pancake. For a short while--the seconds that remained before the other opponents closed in--Amias would close his eyes. A short state of meditation required to activate his Awakening.
As soon as they got close enough to obscure him from view, all Lilith would see at that point would be an endless fountain of splashing, squirting, raining blood in all directions. Dismembered body parts, brutally misshapen corpses, and just...blood would line the immediate area at her feet. Now, it would become perfectly clear to her. Amias wasn't an adept. Amias was a monster. A cold-blooded killer kept in check by the will to survive. With the power of a demon coursing through his veins, the pacifist approach wasn't necessary anymore. The humans that had cast him aside at the sight of 'real' gods were going to pay. In a whole helluva lot of blood.
"Your turn." He said to her, his entire body soaked in their crimson essence. Only his blood red eyes and a malicious smile could be seen amid the coat of blood and steel.

There it was. That was what she had been searching for. Amias' transformation brought on an overwhelmingly powerful surge through him. His emotion became hightened with a savage yearning to rip bodies limb from limb. Lilith closed her eyes and cast out her mind, letting it wrap around the hybrid's as he began to decimate Gettera Town. Through him Lilith experienced it all. She could feel his muscles respond to him and tense, the way they flexed with his every moment. The succubus could imaigne her delicate hands roaming them, feeling the wicked armor beneath her flesh. Each shake of the chain and swing of the scythes ellicted a movement from Lilith. At times it was her own fingers touching herself, a thumb sliding across her lip or finger tips probing towards secretive areas. She could feel the enjoyment he was feeling firsthand. Through herself each cry of pain merely served to heighten the tenuous, lasvicious waves that were flowing through her body. The Head b***h in Charge was giving way to the salacious one. The one who brought the greatest pains and the greatest pleasures to everyone and anyone she chose. The aura that brought men and women to their knees would be unrestrained. All would feel the untainted want for flesh, the yearning for cries of carnal fulfillment as well as the cries of anguish. The succubus finally came to an emotional head and had to detach herself from Amias. It was all too much and Lilith didn't get enough playtime of her own. The hedonistic woman swaggered over to Amias, her eyes locked with his the entire time. As she approached him new features grew on her. A devil's tail snaked out from behind her, swaying back in forth in times with her hips. Wicked horns pushed out from her golden locks and curled inward. The smirk she displayed became fanged like a vampire, and obsidian wings extended out from her body like reaching fingers. Lilith Odam placed her hand on Amias gore-soaked chest, pushing her fingers upward and letting them slide through the blood. Slender fingers touched Amias' cheek and Lilith pushed herself up towards his mouth. Without asking permission the succubus slid her tongue into his mouth. The kiss was ravenous, her lips crashed against his and her nails dug into his skin. And it was over all too soon. "Yes, it is my turn."
Lilith, in her truest form, brushed past Amias and moved further into the town. Her fire which had not been put out was spreading like a fever and burning the town to the ground. People were running around and freaking out, but when they were in range for her aura they stopped and turned. Their eyes glazed over asnd their mouths fell open at the sight of her; their greatest desire. Lilith smiled at a nearby woman who's sword had fallen from her hand in favor of her reaching for the she-devil. Before the human could touch her something snaked out from Lilith and wrapped around the woman's hand. "Please, let me ******** yo- AHHH!" The woman screamed in a voice that was so incredibly shrill Lilith grimaced at the sound of it. The whip that had curled around her hand tightened and rapidly pulled backward, shredding that very hand into bits of meat. With a thought from Lilith the razor whip slashed upward and cut the woman's head clean off, ending that horrid sound. The people around her still stared at her in awe and reverence. "There are far too many of you to give my love to. I know! Why don't you all fight for it? Whoever is the last person left alive will get something special." The words spilled from her mouth like honey, music reverberating from a violin. The people took a single moment to look at each other and then chaos broke loose. People clawed, bit, kicked, scratched, tore, ripped, and punched their way through each other. Men and women alike fought viciously for Lilith's gift, all the while the Queen merely stood by and relished in their foolishness. Soon there was one, a women senselessly bashing in a man's face. When his body finally stopped twitching she chuckled weakly and stumbled towards Lilith. When she reached for her, hands bloodied and scarred, the succubus stepped back. The woman fell to the floor, dismay and confusion etched on her face. Lilith put her boot against the woman's head and pushed, forcing her onto her back. "You're gift is death, by my hand." The Queen of Thorns poised to strike just over Lilith's shoulder, much like the tail of a scorpion. It lashed out once, twice, thrice, again and again and again. Blood spattered the succbus, dotting her face and clothes with little rivulets. The woman was still alive when Lilith stopped, something had caught her attention. There was a source of energy separate from Amias, Lilith, and the Tower. A sudden vibration ran through her body and Lilith jumped backward, her wings flaring out and increasing that distance between her and the woman she had been ravaging. Just where she had been standing chains of light shot into the air. She fought the urge to hiss at the realization of what it was. Holy magic, there was a paladin nearby. Lilith landed on the ground softly and awaited the arrival of whoever the ******** decided it was a good idea to try and capture her. And then she felt them, little specs of magic coming towards her and Amias. The humans came from behind doors and around walls, all weilding some sort of holy weapon or another. Some had staffs that glowed in the darkness, others carried books with angelic runes. Lilith raised her head haughtily. It looked like things were about to get interesting.
