"Well. I won all of the games at the pink booth when you guys weren't watching. And I hmm... I got two feathers with claws. And I met more than enough new ghouls and boils." There was just simply too much for her to really go into detail about, though. She fell quiet again, leaning against Muka and glancing around. Cat... was still no where to be seen. Where was he? She wanted to say goodbye to him before he'd have to go...
"I suppose... you'll be going home soon." She said it as casually as she could. "Do you have a groanspring at least?"

"Oh.." Muka's voice fell slightly, the corners of his ever present smile sagging. "I suppose I will be going home. If you see a demon around who looks too old to go here.. don't tell him I'm here." He giggled. "My brother is looking for me."
He tilted his head and rested it on top of Ash's. "I do have a groanspring actually." His smile brightened. "I'm bad with the keyboard.. but I have one. I think my name on there is just Ulmuka. WE HAVE TO STAY IN TOUCH." it was loud. Emphatic.
"All of us. right? I wonder where Joachim and Willow went to..."

"Um, actually," Syb said, looking down, "she won't let me have an eyephone, because when I did have one I ran up the bill really, really, reeeeallly high but there was this really important call I had to make--" In other words she'd been taken in by some phone call scam on the skelevision. "But you can email me! She lets me check my email once a day! It's sybpatch at screemail dot com," she told them happily.

Muka found Syb's story to be amusing. "Your creator sounds funny." Or maybe it was Syb that sounded funny. "I will email you. Who were you calling?" Obviously it HAD been important!
"I WILL SEND YOU ALL GIFTS!" He had a lot of things collected at home. Minipets.. things that may turn INTO minipets. In fact he just liked things. One of his favorite past times was to catch the stunted ponies in the pasture behind their mansion. He especially liked the flying ones. OF COURSE.
The strix looked slightly triumphant. He was trying not to make it too obvious that he really wanted to go here and being at his house was lonely. "Even if you guys get accepted before me.. still beasties.. right?!"

Aislin nuzzled her head against Muka's, reaching out to wrap an arm around his shoulders as Syb had taken his waist. She squeezed tightly in a moment of gentleness, eyes shut tight. Oh it was going to be lonely at the academy without the friends she'd made. Hopefully some of them would be attending just like her, she knew that there were a few other students that had been on the train with her. Danny, for sure.
She giggled a little as Muka explained he wasn't the best with computers as well as Syb's tale of eyephone bills. "I forget to check mine a lot but I'll check it a lot more! And we can trade gifts and things! If I find cool stuff I'll send it to you!"
As Muka asked if they'd remain beasties Aislin's smile widened, mirroring the strix's own grin. She reached over and grasped one of Muka's hands in her's, giving it a squeeze as she glanced between him and the patchwork ghoul. She hugged his shoulders a bit tighter pulling the trio together a little further. "Beasties forever."

"Princess Screech needed me to call and help her escape the tower of doom!" Syb said seriously. It sounded much like a little kid's cartoon, probably because it HAD been one. But she still held firm to the belief she had been doing a good thing.
"And of course! Beasties for EVER! For ever and ever and ever!! And I'll send you both outfits! I love making clothes! And I'll take a picture of everything and send them to you, too! That way it can... be... like you're there with me," she said, her smile falling and tears coming to her eyes.

"OUTFITS!" Muka cackled with glee and clutched the ghouls. If they got any closer he'd just have them both hanging off of his neck again, or sitting in his lap. His father surely would be proud even if it was taken in the wrong connotation.
His wicked grin softened slightly. He wasn't very good with intense emotion but he was supposed to be working on that. Seeing Sybaline become sad, tears forming in her threaded lashes, he just wasn't sure what to do.
"Aw Syb! Don't be sad. Remember we have to creep on people's relationships!" Creep was a surprisingly accurate word. "For scientific study! Ash can help us.. she's already got tons of boilfriends." He sniggered and squeezed the ghost as he teased.
"Don't be sad.." He said it more earnestly this time. He really didn't want her to cry. He had no idea what to do in those kinds of situations!

For the second time in the same day, Cady erupted through the cafeteria doors - this time coming in instead of out. She rushed into the kitchen, not bothering with stealth, and came out with something that seemed to be on fire.
She burst back out the doors, oblivious to the people gathering.

Like a moth to the flame, Cat somehow found himself drawn to the Cafeteria. He didn't know if Aislin would be in there, but he knew he had to try. He would be heading back home soon, and he wouldn't let anything stop him from saying goodbye to her. Sure he had met a lot of people in his short visit to the school, but Ash was one of his oldest and very best friends.
Damned if anything was going to get in his way before he had to leave.
Immediately he spotted her as he walked in, sighing faintly in relief as he saw her with the owl boil and the patchwork ghoul, both of whom he rather liked. Well, good, more people he would get to say goodbye to. His Smile returned, if only faintly.
Slowly, almost cautiously, overcome with shyness, he moved up to the trio quietly, and tugged very lightly on the back of Aislin's silky top to get her attention.
His expression might as well have said 'up, up' in the voice of a toddler.

Syb was beginning to... to cry? The pale ghostly began to falter, unsure of what to do in a situation like this. It was always so awkward when someone began to blubber. Of course, Aislin could imagine just why the other ghoul was beginning to tear up. They would be breaking apart soon. Of course that was sad.
The banshee began to try and say something to add to what Muka had said in an attempt to calm the patchwork ghoul when she felt a little tug on the back of her top. She looked behind her inquisitively to see her little Shadow. Excitement thrilled through the pale ghoul and she immediately reached out in response to the pleading, childish, silent request and whisked him up.
Ash leaned against Muka's side (though it'd probably feel like she was hardly there) and virtually curled up around Cat. Her arms wrapped around him, her knees drew up and her back bent forward as she cradled him against her. The banshee nuzzled against his hair and cheek. "YOU! Where have you been?! I thought we wouldn't get to... to say goodbye..." Perhaps she COULD understand why Syb had been moved to tears.
Lightly she uncurled, loosening her grip on Cat so that the others could see and equally hug him or wrap their arms around him if they wanted to. Diligently she kept one arm wrapped about his back, though, just as she kept herself in contact with Muka by leaning on him and with Syb by leaning against her hand that was wrapped around Muka. It felt nice... being connected like that.

"I'm not going to cry!" Syb protested, wiping the tears away. "This is a happy moment! And--and we'll keep in touch, right?" she added, pulling Cat into the hug. "So this isn't goodbye forever or anything, it's just... goodbye until all of us are enrolled," she said, brightening up considerably. "Promise?" she said to them. "Just until we're enrolled. Then we can spend every day together!! And become FEARleaders!!"

Cat felt something strange welling up inside him when Ash spoke. It didn't quite feel like sadness, nor did it feel like he was going to cry. It was...it was something.
It was right there...something he couldn't...
...quite...
He shook his head to rid himself of it and huddled closer to Aislin, curling his tail around Syb and Muka to pull them closer into an odd little group hug, remaining strangely silent. It was all he could do not to outright hide his face and cling on for dear unlife.
They almost didn't get to say...
He shook his head again, the little lights that were his eyes going out as he 'closed' them, shuffling to get comfortable on Ash's lap and letting out a little semi-contented sigh. He didn't care how much he looked like a spoiled toddler right now. He was comfy and that was that.
Humph.

Muka laughed. "FEARleading will be amazing!" Such exclamations were common from him but the strix did really find all of these things to just be fantastic.
When Cat approached he'd turned his head almost all the way around to greet him. The ribbon ghost was absolutely fascinating and Muka twitched his nose, hoping to store away the particular 'flavors' of his new friends so that he'd not forget them for quite some time.
He started to giggle, the laughter taking him away because it was easier than sorrow, when Cady came running through with something on fire. He hadn't formally met the ghoul but she'd been in quite a few of the same booths he'd been to and she was amusing almost every single time!
His giggles made way for cackles and then into full on manic laughter. He tried to grab everyone's hands, a difficult task, but this laughing was his expression of emotion. WONDERFUL!! His hissing, rough screeches carried amazingly well in the mostly empty cafeteria.
