Paragon's gaze narrowed, and he looked to the fake Alex coldly. "What's happening to her? Why are you doing this?" he asked harshly. If this was some cruel prank... He'd make whoever caused it regret their actions.

Fake Alex's grin widened, and her eyes faded from brown to green. He was fully aware now...so there was no point in keeping up the masquerade unless he decided that he wanted to keep it going. "Relax..." she coaxed. "I'm only doing what she's had the urge to do sevral times tonight." Then the woman pulled herself closer to him, pressing herself against him and whispering into his ear. "And my cousin sends her regards. She said she'd treat you for your valor, and I was all she had to offer for the time being. I thrive in dreams. I can give anyone their hearts desire, or live out their worst nightmare. I was sent to give you pleasant dreams tonight. It's not my fault this is what you both seemed to want to do tonight."

Paragon didn't really react except to look in the woman's eyes. "Well, ma'am, I'm flattered, but I'll have to respectfully decline. It... wouldn't be fair to Alex if I indulged myself, even in a dream sequence," he said firmly.

The fake smiled and leaned away from him. Her dark hair growing out until it was long and drapped around her legs. Her skin turned ghost white, and lavender markings graced the skin around her eyes and cheeks. The black outfit she wore grew and swirled around her until it formed a tattered dress.
"Well..." she purred, her black lips forming a sympathetic smile. "A gentleman. Haven't had one of you in a long time." she purred. But, she leaned farther away from him and swung one of her legs around so that she now stood off to the side of the bed. "But...I suppose I should respect my cousin's wishes. If you don't want any vivid dreams tonight...then I will leave you be."
Another moan.
"If you can get any sleep that is." she said with a grin.

The woman's smile returned. "A rain check then..." she said, then dipped her fingers into the clevage of her dress, pulling out a small slip of parchment with a few characters written on it in red...well we'll just go with ink.
"I was also supposed to give you an invite to a little get-together my cousins are having. For those at least a little interested in the fate of this planet. If you find nothing else of interest...you might chat with at least the host of the house." she said, then slipped it under his pillow. "Just tear that in half when the ink turns black. You'll be taken straight to the little party."

Paragon nodded. "Alright. Thank you kindly, ma'am," said to her, before leaning back on his pillow and closing his eyes again. He felt somewhat bad for Alex. She had given in when he had not; what did that say about her? That she liked him, or was simply overwhelmed by the senses she had?

The woman smiled, then drifted out of being, allowing the entire room to fade to black as she released her hold on Paragon's mind. She couldn't completely leave just yet though...she still had the girl to finish with. Then she could just slip right on out the door again.

Alex lay on the bed with her eyes closed and trying hard to catch her breath. She turned her head to look over at the clock sitting on the nightstand beside the tv remote. Five am...jeeze, was it really that........long? She turned her head back around and no one was there.
...and she was under the covers...and....still clothed. And...Lucas was....on his side of the bed. Still asleep.
Alex just laid there for a moment, staring silently. Then she sat up and took a second look down at herself and over at Lucas. Then back over at the clock.
......
......it was a dream? It was all just a dream? Oh my g- ....it was a ****ing dream?! After she flipped out over his hormones, she went and...ugh.
With a growl, she tossed the covers off and headed straight for the bathroom. Half intent on locking herself inside.

Lucas woke up not long after Alex had, and he slowly got up. His sleep, after that "encounter", had been dreamless, which he was glad for. He sniffed the air a bit, and he detected Alex's scent in the bathroom.
He got up, stretched a little, and walked over to the bathroom door, knocking. "Morning, Alex," he said with a yawn.

Alex jumped a bit at the sound and turned to stare uneasily at the door. "Morning..." she called back. "Do you...need the bathroom?"
She was rather hoping that he didn't...then she could just...stay in here until she felt well enough to open the door again.

"Nah, I'm alright. You don't sound too well; how're you feeling?" Lucas asked, frowning. He could definitely detect the pheromones coming from Alex, and they indicated she wasn't well at all.

Falling through the portal at Blackgates, John had wonder into the city.
Of course he appeared human now, his ears less pointy, tail hidden, his flames gone.
Having no need to eat, or sleep he had roamed the city all night. Taking care of the scum who committed crime. Now sitting on a building edge in front of a motel, his leg hung over as he thought to himself.

Alex looked away from the door and began fidgeting with the bottom of her shirt, slowly pacing back and forth in the room. So akward…so freaking akward. What did she say? Yeah, I’m just great! But just so you know, I’m going to avoid you for a little bit until I can get last night out of my head. I thought it was you, but it really wasn’t, so now I feel like a total creep for something I couldn’t control. Yeah, again something that’s not your fault but I’m just going to freak out about because that’s apparently what I’m good at…kay?
”I…” she began, then hesitated. ”…yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. I just didn’t get much…I didn’t have a very restful sleep.” she concluded. There…short, simple, and a truthful answer. Then she took another rather noticeable pause. ”You?”
