Ari kept her head down, looking at the tea in her cup as she listened to the conversations.

As a rumbling sound echoed through the room, Malphas looked down at his nearly empty stomach.
"Tch...no alcohol and now this?"
Even though alcoholic beverages were his drink of choice, Malphas could still not ignore the fact that he was a vampire and the thirst was ever presence. Looking around the table, he sighed before turning to Nyx.
"Even if I can't have alcohol, I can still feed, right? I mean, denying me that wouldn't even be torture. It would just ruin the party and cause a mess."

"You should have eaten before the party. Now it's just going to be awkward if you eat or not."

'speaking of that I haven't fed in a few weeks but im not feeling the effect... hmmm... Kind of odd. mind as well take advantage of the situation while it lasts.'' she thought. She looked into her tea cup and sipped it. definitely wonderful.

Ari chewed at her bottom lip as the other vampire talked about blood. She was still very new to this way of life and could not control her thirst as easily as some of the others could. Looking over at Crux, she tried to convey her fears.

Crux nodded to Ari, acknowledging that he understood what she was wishing to say. He also turned to Malphas, giving him a stern glare. He had not been around as long as the other vampire, but he knew better than to discuss his thirst out in the open where guests were present. He smiled at Rose.
"Thank you, that is a generous offer. However I am not certain if the atmosphere of a tea party will go very well with the smell of blood in the air."

"Oh, I disagree. Blood always goes so nicely with a party. It can be a great form of entertainment." Nyx giggled before turning to Malphas. "I'll allow it. Just don't stain any of the tablecloths."
((Tsuki, this party is held inside the Council halls. I should have been more specific.))
(Let me just also remind everyone that tomorrow is the last day of the Tea Party. I do hope that everyone enjoyed themselves. If you haven't entered one of the contests, you still have the next two days to do so.)

He gave a slight frown, not liking where this was possibly heading. It would be one thing if they fed on blood wine or something similar, but risking the lives of guests was another issue entirely.

Malphas hopped up from his seat and gave a small dance of delight.
"Finally something goes right for me today!"
He looked around, wondering what to do.
"Let's see...I haven't had type A in awhile, but B is good too. Anyone up for a donation?"

Under the table, Ari's hands clenched into fists. She clenched her teeth in an attempt to keep calm and control her thirst, but the talk of blood was not helping in the slightest.

Sensing the familiar tension of a fledgling, Malphas grinned hoping to inflict a bit of torture himself. He walked over to where Ari sat and smiled.
"What type do you prefer? In my opinion AB is the best. It has the most complex flavor. O tends to be sweet, but not too bad. For a tea party, I would recommend type A. It would go best in this setting. Of course, the over all flavor and consistency depends on the individual. It just has to be warm and fresh. That's the best way, right?"
He laughed, knowing from experience the difficulties that a new vampire could have.

This reaction only made Malphas laugh harder. Reaching out, he ruffled her hair before continuing to walk around the room.
"Don't worry so much, you'll get used to it."
Looking around, he smiled widely.
"So? Any takers...or well, givers?"
