Scheelite thrashed around in the coffin, trying to keep away from the flames. It was impossible though, and the flames continued to lick at flesh until it blistered and burned. The blonde gave a final punch to the lid of his confinement, and then was startled when an arm suddenly burst through.

The captain quickly latched onto Fluorite's arm, thankful for the freedom and -very- thankful for the hand out of there. Fluorite pulled her captain free, and he pulled them both away from the burning remnants of Requiem's attack.

Her Captain might have looked worse for wear, blood spattered, burned, and still bleeding from the neck. But he was alive and that was all that mattered.

Green eyes traveled to the skies, staring in awe at the monstrous youma circling the battlefield.

It was hard not to notice the din spreading through the city, and it had not escaped Adira's notice.The whole thing was suspicious, considering that there weren't any special events happening in Downtown Destiny that night- no parades or carnivals. It was supposed to be quiet. Slipping away, the girl made sure she was alone before henshining. "Perseus Constellation Power, Make-Up!" With a flash of light the sailor was off into the city to catch up with whatever was happening there.

What she saw made her sick. A giant bird roamed the skies, wreaking havoc on the city, its buildings, and its inhabitants. The size and ferocity of the youma sent chills up her spine, and for a minute the sailor stood off to the back, staring in horror at the scene that was unfolding. How on earth could someone come to the conclusion that they were right in what they were doing when this was the result? The entire situation made her sick to her stomach.

Jolted into motion by the sight of several sailors attacking, boot heels echoed across the pavement and she soon found herself in the thick of everything. It was clear to her, even though she didn't know much of the situation, that the giant bird needed to be stopped. Picking up a broken pipe, Perseus whipped it as hard as she could at the youma's face, hoping to inflict some kind of damage. Her attack would be useless against the creature- confusing the beast would only make everything worse for everyone.

"Gianfar! What on earth is going on?" Being so new to the battle and the situation, Perseus had no fear of dying at the moment. The only thing she could think of was the safety of others, particularly of the senshi involved, but everyone else as well. Where was the rest of the senshi? Why hadn't they come to defend their city?

Birhan wondered if so far the Operation was counting as a success or a failure. The captives had been saved - well, those who weren't already dead at Ares' hand. A giant blood battle was in the works. Tanzanite had somehow turned herself into the largest youma that Birhan had ever seen. Things weren't looking so good for them.

On the not-so-bad side, rumour had it that Ares was responsible for taking out a General-King. A General-King! If it were true, Birhan would have some serious groveling to do. It was hard to think of any brighter lining to the operation than one of heads of the Negaverse dead by BMC hands.

First, though, they had to survive the Tanz-youma.

"Departed Strike, Renewal!" Birhan yelled. She grabbed for the nearest offensive power and launched it at the black phoenix.

Her attack came out rather pitiful as it sailed towards the tanz monster. She thought it might at least dent, but it was quickly 'epic fail' status'd as the random nega blocked them. Lyra let out a yelp as one of the glass shards whizzed right past her face, a thin stream of blood forming and rolling down her cheek.

The other object, a less sharp giant piece of wall came back and hit her RIGHT in the gut. Sending the senshi backwards, eyes narrowed up at Zanazzlite. "Need to PROTECT your little puppy now, HUH?"


Best not to taunt the lieutenant now with the power of a general, but her she was pissed and getting to her feet.

And..she was ignoring Hel. She was tired of ehr already.

Fluorite punched, and punched, and punched, her own blood staining the coffin a little more with each punch.

But then, finally, she got though, felt an hand grap her arm, and she kicked the rest of the coffin open, and finally pulled her captain out.

He looked like hell.

But then, so did he. There was a very large gash on her cheek, thankfully not bleeding. The same couldn't be said for her fists, fresh blood starting to coat them all over again, with splinters sticking out. It hurted.

Fluorite didn't care. Darker green eyes stared into bright green ones, and there it was - all her fear, all her pain, all her anger.

Those eyes watered again. "SCHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!"

Then she tackled him, buried her face in his chest, and started wailing again. He could only barely make out "He's dead, too late, my fault" though the muffled sobs.

REQUIEM watched as the Black Phoenix rose up into the air. She couldn't let it get too high and out of range. She took the plank of wood from the rubble she had used to hit it with before and threw it up in the air with full force towards the Phoenix's wing.

Lieutenant Unobtainium cried out, forced to drop his arm as the energy beam proved far too much for his body to sustain a moment longer. His breathing was ragged as the crackles of electricity dissipated, allowing him to survey the scorched earth stretching out before him. How many senshis had he decimated? Countless, he could feel it, his foam hand swelling from its feast.

But as the smoke cleared, there stood a single figure. Unobtainium's eyes widened, fear crossing his face for the first time as he found himself facing Hephaistos, who was seemingly untouched by his attack. Nary a burn or cut, as if his energy beam had simply passed right through.

"No..." he hissed, shaking his head, muscles screaming out in exhaustion. "How? How do you continue to defy me?!" He attempted to raise his arm to defend himself from Hephaistos' onslaught, but his body refused to listen to him. He was powerless to stop the punches from connecting, fresh bruises blossoming across his skin as he absorbed the full brunt of the attack.

"Father... how can this be?" Unobtainiumucles closed his eyes, the power rapidly fading from his Hand. He felt himself sinking into darkness, swallowed by an all consuming black... before a single ray of light cleaved through the nothingness.

"No son of mine..." his father's spirit whispered, "... ever stops fighting."

His father. The man who had bestowed upon him the Hand of Unobtainiumucles. Disappointing him was not an option.

"UNOBTAINUPPERCUT!" he screamed, striking out with his foam hand.

"THEMIS NOISE STORM !"

Oh god, this thing, this damn thing.... Sailor Themis had never seen anything like this before - even the ice princess at christmas seemed to pale in compatrison.

But Kaguya had a weakness, and surely this.... thing had one as well.

But then the wind picked up, and the super senshi struggled to stay on his feet.
