Amelia Frances Joan
She still was nervous. She'd been reintroducing herself to the teachers all morning, but she couldn't stop feeling ashamed. Yes she was sick, but that meant she was weak. In her head she could hear her father's reprimands. She entered the class slowly. This was hard due to the fact that she didn't really know this teacher long. Handing her the pile of parchment that included her missed assignments. Amelia gave her a small smile, before turning to take a seat in the front of the class. Reading the board, she relaxed a little. It was time to use her imagination. A very good time to do so.

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker
Sparrow had been working on the assignment for a while. She had used every resource available to her on her topic. She had chosen to talk about the muggle theory of plate tectonics. It was science right? She had found information in science books so it must be!

(Wait Sparrow! You'll present at the start of June, so take that down for now and save it. I want you all to roleplay like you're actually giving a speech lol. I am a speech teacher in real life. So yes, Aldaron. That's what I want you to do.
It's fine, Eclipse! Just make sure you have them all in...I think you were only here for the first assignment, so you may be missing one more? I think it was the drawing one, so just post a picture off photobucket and you'll be good.)

Catalina stared at the white-haired young girl who had just turned in a stack of finished assignments. She vaguely remembered her, but it seemed like the girl was responsible enough. Catalina thumbed the pile of parchment. Yes, that would be a lot to grade.

Melody Laurentia Hillyard
Melody entered the class and greeted the professor. " Hello Professor, I'm Melody. Sorry, I'm still quite new to these. Mind explaining? " It was her first day at Hogwarts and had no idea what she should be doing.

Catalina glanced up from her grading to see a new student in her classroom. "Dios mio, we have not received a new student in quite some time," she said, standing.
"Buenos dias. My name is Profesora Constanza. What is your year? In this classroom we break up our lessons by year," Catalina stated, shaking her long raven locks for emphasis

Today you will draw a picture of a day in the Ministry of Magic, showing how the Greeks and Romans influenced what we use to control the institutions in the wizarding world. If you feel your art skills are not up to snuff, you may submit a list of differences and similarities between the Ministry of Magic and the Greco-Roman form of government. if so, does this The Greeks are characterized by their creation of a democracy, where all free men had an equal vote. Likewise, the Romans are known for their republics: elected officials rule chosen by the population. However there were three other forms of government, designated by Aristotle. Of these types, the Ministry of Magic has actually combined two of them. The first is the Roman’s republic, and the other is an oligarchy. The Senate, led by the Ministry of Magic, is elected to represent the British’s wizarding world. Instead of being a true republic: a house elected by all citizens, it is merely elected by the wealthy old wizarding families. Candidates for the Senate are also limited to the rich, thus creating an oligarchy, which is a government ruled by a group of rich nobles. not count as a decent comparison between the governments? Either way, I know I still need to do the sixth one...which I thought was the presentation...I think I've officially confused myself.))

Drago gets into class after 20 minutes of being lost on the moving staircases. He apologizes to Professor Courageous for being late and takes a seat at the back of the class. As he sits there, he wonders why he has to take this class since he's muggle-born.
(Hi, I'm new to this, i'll need some help getting used to this.)

Blaine was still struggling a bit with the assignment. She knew what she was going to do but hadn't written it down yet. That was the trouble. She loved to write and do things like this, she just wasn't sure how to begin anything. A sudden thought struck her. "Do we have to memorize this, Professor?" Blaine asked as her hand shot into the air. She nervously waited for the professor's answer. She knew they had to present it, but she hoped they didn't have to memorize it. She had a bad memory and was already bad at speaking aloud in front of the class. [Don't worry, Drago. Everyone is new at least once in their life. The way I got used to it was to just read everyone else's posts to see how they did it and went off from there.]

Turning her gaze to the even newer student who had arrived, Catalina said in her husky voice, "You! Introduce yourself to the class, por favor. Name, year, and house."
Looking in Blaine's direction she said plainly, "I will not be waiting for you to say the word "it" in the wrong place, Senorita Blaine. I merely wish for you to inform the class of the topic you feel most interested about. So, no memorization required. Just see that you are prepared," Catalina said with a smirk.
