 ⅼ☽ ⓐ Я K K 1 T Dark-kit nodded slowly as he watched Blackflame leave the den in a grumpy old fashion. His ears flicked at Ghastlykit, wondering if she still wanted him to play. He silently hoped she didn't. His small tail flicked towards the entrance as he slowly got up and began padding towards it. He glanced back, wondering if any of the other kits would bother to follow him outside the nursery.

The w↺rlds➽ got a funny way Of ↺ turning ↻ around on Y↻U When a Ⓕⓡⓘⓔⓝⓓ tries to ➣ stab YOU Right in the 𝕱ace Losin Ⓕⓐⓘⓣⓗ in everything I thought I ➶ hoped and ➴ knew Ghastlykit watched him for a few moments, her jaw crooked, but her tounge did not loll out, she had learned to keep it in her mouth. She saw that he was leaving, and blinked. Her voice was soft, a question that seemed to flutter on the breeze, if was any to abide too. She smiled, her blue eye's bright. "Can I come with you Darkkit?" she asked. Ghastlykit didn't want to follow him and be rude about it, she'd rather ask then him being ever-so curious as to why another kit was following him around, prancing and trying to play with him. For a kitten, he had a serious attire to coat him, which confused her as to why he was so serious, how had he come to be that way?

ⅼ☽ ⓐ Я K K 1 T Dark-kit paused for a moment before he left the nursery, just in time for him to hear Ghastlykit's question to join him. He turned, his blue eyes focusing on Ghastlykit, noticing her crooked jaw. He nodded and twitched his tail, indicating that she was free to tag along. With that, Dark-kit left the nursery and entered the camp clearing.

Shimmerstep greeted the kittens before settling down in her nest next to Rosepetal.
Richmoon had just returned from a patrol and hadn't returned to the nursery yet.
"Ca-can I come in...?"
Rosepetal glanced over at the apprentice, a purr rising in her throat. "Yes, dear, come inside!"

Freekit smelled a new scent and mewled excitedly, crawling in the direction of the new cat. His fur was splayed out in wisps, and there was some specks of dirt and twigs in his fur because of all his exploring.

The w↺rlds➽ got a funny way Of ↺ turning ↻ around on Y↻U When a Ⓕⓡⓘⓔⓝⓓ tries to ➣ stab YOU Right in the 𝕱ace Losin Ⓕⓐⓘⓣⓗ in everything I thought I ➶ hoped and ➴ knew She was surprised at the kindness the Queen showed her, she glanced behind her, looking out at the gray,
dreary morning before entering the Nursery den, she took a seat close by, watching as a creamy kit came towards her and she tensed her body up a little,
feeling herself stiffen as he came towards her but laxed, remembering how she had been when she was a kitten. "They're really cute." She mewed to Rosepetal,
nuzzling Freekit affectionately since he was so eager to make contact with her. "It's uh, Coykit and Freekit, right?" She added on, looking at the kitten before her.
"What's his name?" She asked, brushing a bit of dirt off his pelt with her tail.

The golden she-kit hid in her mother's fur, uninterested in the visitor.
Shimmerstep chuckled and asked, "How are you doing today, Ghastlypaw?"

Freekit squeaked as the big thing rubbed up against him. It smelled nice and felt furry. It was another cat!
He nibbled on her paw, kneading her flank with his little paws.

at her paws and knead into her. She twitched a little bit, almost as if to flinch away but settled down soon, she worried about hurting him but realized
that she was unlikely to hurt him at the same time. "I'm doing good, how are you two?" She asked the she-cats, looking down at Freekit she pushed his head
a little bit with her paw, giving him something a little more lively to play with and keeping the kitten entertained. "Was it hard?
Er, I mean, you know, was it hard being pregnant and giving birth?" She asked Rosepetal.

Rosepetal blinked thoughtfully. "At times, I suppose so," she murmured. "The hardest part was giving birth. That hurt a lot! It was worth it in the end, though."
She looked down at her kittens, love blooming in her eyes. "I would do it over again, definitely."

Freekit flopped down next to the paw, licking it softly and allowing himself to be cleaned. He emitted a soft, raspy purr.

The w↺rlds➽ got a funny way Of ↺ turning ↻ around on Y↻U When a Ⓕⓡⓘⓔⓝⓓ tries to ➣ stab YOU Right in the 𝕱ace Losin Ⓕⓐⓘⓣⓗ in everything I thought I ➶ hoped and ➴ knew Ghastlypaw listened quietly, she nodded to Shimmerstep in recognition of her words, her ears perking at the sound of Rosepetal's voice
as she spoke of the birthing and she continued to play with Freekit, listening to the soft purrs the kitten emitted from being played with, he seemed to be enjoying himself.
"At least it was worth it, I don't know if I'd ever be able to do it." She mewed to the she-cat, she flinched a little when the kittens warm tongue rasped over her paw though
soon settled into it, not too bothered by it. "It just seems... I don't know, like it'd hurt a lot."

It was really scary, too, but I think you'd have to go through it to fully understand why queens do it again. The feeling when you see your little kittens for the first time...it's unlike anything else. I want to do it over and over again, if I could."
She sighed dreamily, resting her head in her paws. Shimmerstep added, "And with the medicine cat helping you, you feel pretty safe. The pain can be eased with herbs."

Freekit wiggled underneath Ghastlypaw, trying to squeeze his tiny body into warm crevices. His tiny tail stuck straight up as he wormed around.

The w↺rlds➽ got a funny way Of ↺ turning ↻ around on Y↻U When a Ⓕⓡⓘⓔⓝⓓ tries to ➣ stab YOU Right in the 𝕱ace Losin Ⓕⓐⓘⓣⓗ in everything I thought I ➶ hoped and ➴ knew Ghastlypaw shifted a little bit, peering down at the kit who was squirming around her body, she allowed him to get wherever he wanted though.
"I guess that's good, I don't know, I'd be pretty scared in all honesty." She gave a nervous chuckle, twitching her ear and flicking her tail over the nose of Freekit,
"I'm glad you're happy, your kits are beautiful and this one is pretty... adventurous, I'd say." Ghastlypaw said, looking down at the curious and playful kit. "I should probably
get going though, I don't know if Starkcloud has something for me to do or not. I-if you ever want me to watch your kits I can, I really like them..." She admitted to her
then carefully took her leave, watching Freekit for a few moments to make sure he didn't follow and then leaving the Nursery, heading back out into camp.

I really appreciate it. Any time you'd like to watch the kits when your mentor isn't keeping you busy, let me know. Freekit sure has taken a liking to you too." She watched her son, love lingering in her eyes.
Shimmerstip twitched her ears, adding, "I wouldn't mind if you watched Onekit from time to time, either. If you're inclined to do so."
