"Well if you hadn't been LEADING ME ON I wouldn't need to cool down!" He replied, tempted to add that her grabbing him with her tentacles like that was NOT HELPING. Instead, he merely half-sulked, reaching over with one hand to grab hold of her arm in a mutually supportive motion, still treading water. "Besides, it's almost a full moon, it's not my fault."

It was a good thing he could swim, and swim relatively well. On the other hand, it was a shame he didn't have any aquatic animal pelts in his arsenal. The wolf pelt he always wore would be no help -- he was quite a bit heavier in that form, and couldn't scale the side of a boat with it. The crow feathers might have, had he not already been soaked through and unable to fly. As it was, however, Junko provided the solution. Or the pseudo-solution at any rate. Grunting a bit as the weight of the net came down upon their heads, he looked up skeptically at her, agreeing with Riley almost immediately.

"There's no way she could pull us both up, but maybe if I hoist you, she could pull you up," he replied to Riley, already reaching an arm around her waist. Given the previous situation, it wasn't outside the realm of possibility maybe he was getting fresh with her.

What was that around Riley's wrist? Junko gave it a good, hard look and narrowed her eyes at it. Oh! A rope! Where did it go? Her eyes followed along it until she realized...the rope was attached to the boat.

They were perfectly fine without her help...oops.

Suddenly there was a weight on her net and the ghoul let out a cry of surprise, bracing herself against the side of the boat so she wouldn't also fall in. Riley could swim, Nuk could swim, but the fact of the matter is Junko was able to keep from completely drowning in a pool...she wasn't comfortable in an ocean where there were waves and currents and things that could pull her under! Frankly, it terrified her. She didn't want to drown. She blushed at the realization that she really wouldn't be able to pull them up, and that they were perfectly fine thanks to that rope, feeling a little embarrassed by her own panicked reaction. Of course they were fine! This was Riley, after all. "I pulled up that turtle no problem!" That was a turtle, Junko. Students and turtles are not the same thing. And both Riley and Nukpana were bigger than her, meaning they both weighed more than her. The physics, they just didn't work! She sighed and pulled her net back up when Riley let go of it. She leaned down a little to better hear what Nuk was saying to Riley, blinking a little and just...staring at Nuk. Could she really pull up Riley? M-maybe..but...but Riley had the rope!

"Maybe I...could pull the rope?" Junko pointed to the rope that was currently acting as their lifeline to the boat.

Riley couldn't help but laugh at Nuk's lively reply. Okay, okay, she held her hands up, I'm sorry. I can't help it, it's too much fun. I'll be good. She lied easily. She was about to mention that she didn't actually need help being hoisted up, as she'd scaled the boat twice already - and she could easily do it again. She didn't get a single thought out before Nuk's arm was around her waist, and she narrowed her eyes at him dangerously. Was this revenge for her little stunt? Perhaps. Still, she wasn't about to say no to making the climb easier - so she grabbed hold of the rope with both hands, and planted her feet firmly on the side of the boat.

If you two lovely ghouls want to try and help pull me up, I have no problem with that. Just be careful up there. She warned them as she began heaving herself up. She fully expected Nuk to lift her, but she kept one arm firmly attached to the rope after she'd done her own bit of heaving. The other hand reached out to LW and Junko, once she felt she'd gotten high enough.

There was a skeptical look in response to her 'I'll be good,' his eyes betraying just how much he believe that. Her ability to be good ran almost as deep as his own, he imagined -- Riley was far too rebellious to 'be good.' It was one of the things he liked about her. Still, he let it slide, knowing that it'd be much more fun if she wasn't good, if neither of them were good in fact. They kept things interesting. Separately and together. Instead, he focused on hoisting her up, helping her despite the fact that they both knew she didn't need any help, that most of it was just a polite formality. He wasn't sure if Riley was a woman or not, but she LOOKED like a woman, and that was good enough for him. Even if he mostly objectified women, even if he was a complete womanizer, he still could be semi-polite.

Mostly.

Kind of.

Ok, so it was questionable. He tried, at least.

... sometimes.

Shivering a little (now that Riley was gone and he could stop pretending to be so manly,) Nuk grabbed the rope as soon as she was up, ruing how much his pelt weight when wet and starting to scale the edge of the boat with LW and Junko's help, thankful at least that he regularly worked out. If not, he wasn't sure how he'd have gotten back up... Riley probably would have had to pull him up. Wouldn't THAT have been embarrassing. Leaning his upper body over the railing, he rolled over onto the deck with a heavy sigh, laying flat on his back for a few moments, eyes closed, panting a little with the effort.

"Man... all that effort just to get laid... and it didn't even work," He teased, laughing breathily.

LW's sudden presence surprised Junko and she nearly let go of the net, pulling it up when it was clear they wouldn't need it. Riley had a rope, they'd be okay without the net. But hey! Two was better than one, right? Junko smiled, feeling better now that she had help. "It should be easier if we both pull, I think." She chirped, grabbing a firm hold of the rope regardless of if LW helped her or now. Junko braced herself in much the same way she had when bringing the turtle up onto the boat, one foot planted firmly on the deck and the other perched against the wall for leverage to keep herself from being pulled forward; she made sure to push back with that leg to avoid the catastrophe of herself going over the edge and into the water. There would be no words for how awful that would be to her. She pulled until she saw Riley's purple hand reaching up for them, taking hold of it and pulling RIley onto the deck. Unfortunately for Junko she fell flat on her rear once Riley was over the railing, landing with a surprised squeak followed by a pained groan as she rubbed at her lower back. Owwwwwww! That huuuurt! The ghoul slowly got back up onto her feet to stand, looking down to make sure Nuk was still there. Good, he was.

Now it was his turn to be pulled back up, hoping it would be easier if Riley also helped. She would, right? Why wouldn't she? Junko pulled even harder this time but only because damn was he heavy. Why did he seem heavier than Riley? Were all boils like this? Geeze! She gave a cheer when he was finally on the deck, releasing the rope and panting a bit from the exertion of pulling both of them up. That was all the workout Junko needed for the next few weeks! Yup! She was a buff machine now. Totally. This ghoul is alllll muscle. "You're okay!" She cheered tiredly, raising a fist and laughing as she fell to sit on the deck now.

Junko looked down at Nuk as he spoke of getting laid, blinking and working through her head what that meant again. Laid as in...wait...Nuk and...?! Junko pouted and puffs her cheeks a bit, pushing gently at Nuk with one of her feet. "I'm telling Sheeeeehk." He'd better have been kidding! Ugh, Junko was tired. She flopped over on the deck and curled up on her side. "I'm tiiiired. You guys are heavy."

...No, Junko dear...you're just a weakling.

Riley rolled her legs over the railing and dropped onto the deck feet first, landing as graceful as a cat. She leaned back on the railing, trying to catch her breath while Junko helped Nuk up. She couldn't help but notice how absolutely adorable it was - Nuk was doing most of the work, of course, but Junko tried so very hard to get them up. If Riley could smile, hers would have stretched wide for the precious scene before her.

Nuk, of course, ruined it completely by opening his mouth. Riley slapped her forehead and laughed. She slumped down to the floor finally, and sat there for a moment. Junko's response, however, triggered her immediate reaction.

He's joking, Junko. Don't tell Shehk. She's just started accepting the bonehead as her boyfriend, I'd rather not be any accidental cause to the destruction of that.

She sat up straight, eyeing the ghoul. And I am not heavy. I weigh a very average amount for a ghoul of my size. Okay, so muscle was heavier than fat, but still..

Suddenly, a phone was thrust in her face. Riley glared up at Desu-Chan, unsure of what exactly was the point of her little charade, but Riley got the message. With a practiced hand, she typed out a little love letter. An extra cheesy one, to boot. She handed the phone back, shooing the woman away.

"Thank you, uh... Fluffy girl," he replied after a second of recovery, opening one eye to look over at LW appreciatively before Junko posed her threat, his attention redirecting once more. "Aww, cut me some slack Junnie-bee, I didn't mean it~" Nuk half-whined, propping himself up on one elbow to give her a sad puppy-face. Surprisingly, Riley also came to his defense, and he gave her a curious look, a little envious at how graceful she still looked despite it all. Here he was, flat on his back, and she was only just now sitting, and only because she was facepalming at him. Which was pretty funny. He tried really hard not to smile, and ended up failing miserably as a thought entered his head, smirk returning even after this entire ordeal. He just never learned, did he?

"Actually, tell her," he finally prompted in a sly voice, waving at Junko and her cell phone idly, "Tell her to get her a** over here -- I would very much appreciate a threesome. Mmm~"

Closing his eyes again, he grinned, folding his arms behind his head in a smug manner. He may or may not have been imagining that very scene. The phone that was dropped on his stomach at this point was, therefore, regarded with an extreme lack of seriousness, a short message clicked out before he tossed it back at the ghoul. Then again, Nuk had trouble with cell phones, it might not have even gone through at all. Or been coherant.

"Her name is LW." Junko muttered tiredly to Nuk as he gave LW an unorthodox nickname of sorts. She turned her head to see Riley as she asked her not to tell Shehk about Nuk's crude comment, frowning and nodding. She couldn't exactly blame Shehk for taking so long in caving and calling Nuk her boilfriend, but even Junko wasn't mean enough to risk anything like that. When the other ghoul got defensive of her weight Junko whined and rubbed her arms, her face hidden by her lifeless hair. "Nuh uh, that's a lie. I can carry myself around just fine but pulling you two up was hard work!" And Junko was not exactly one for hard manual labor like lifting people. She was tired, and she was sore, and she wanted to sleep forever. Or at least until they were home again. Yes, home with her foxes and her warm comfy bed and her dry, fogless dorm room.

Wait, Nuk wanted her to tell Shehk? Junko blinked and furrowed her brow a bit at Nuk's tone and his words, very confused as to why he would even want her to tell Shehk something like her boilfriend was even joking about cheating on her. And just how was Shehk going to get over here when they were in the middle of the ocean?! "A what?" Junko blinked and laid her head on the deck, pursing her lips and trying to figure out what he was talking about. A threesome? She looked from Nuk to Riley and then Nuk again as he finished writing out a message for Desu-chan. She had a feeling she didn't want to know what a threesome really was. Wasn't it just...a trio? Trio, three..? If Shehk came here there wouldn't be three of them. There'd be at least four...so...they'd have a foursome, wouldn't they?

Thinking was tiring. Junko sighed and merely gravitated toward Nuk, putting her head on his chest and clinging to the boil. Ugh. He was wet and smelled like salt water. Oh well, she was too tired to care. "I won't tell her. That'd be mean." She mumbled, trying to ignore the smell of...was that wet dog? Oh. Right. His pelt. Ew.

Riley's head dropped when Junko tried to compare the idea of being able to carry herself around to carrying Riley. The logic that was missing in that entire thought was .. Riley couldn't help but chuckle repeatedly. Her chuckle started to threaten to turn into full blown laughter, and she tried to stifle it, but it was all she could do. The situation got even worse when Junko looked to each of them for an explanation as to what a threesome was. This was just getting better and better. She couldn't stop laughing, and it was starting to become annoying. She continued chuckling even as she held her hand out to Junko.

Can I borrow your phone? She asked. She shut off her thoughts, so that only she could hear her own laughter ringing in her head. She just could not stop.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 1:51 am

"LW then," Nuk replied, waving with his free hand in a non-committal fashion before wrapping it around Junko's shoulders, opening one eye briefly to look down at her as she laid down next to him tiredly. The response he received to his threesome comment was met with a chuckle of his own, and he grinned as he closed his eye again, content to laze on the deck for a while before Red decided to storm in and make them do more work (as he was sure she'd do eventually.) "I'll tell you when you're older," he replied teasingly, ignoring the sound of Riley's laughter in his head for as long as he could, until she finally spoke again. Not to him, of course, but he replied anyway, tightening his grip around the raven-haired girl's shoulders.

"Don't let her Junko, I solemnly swear she is up to no good," he replied, grinning broader, "She's just jealous of our cuddle time."

Riley was laughing. Why was Riley laughing? That made her tense up against Nuk and look back toward her with worry, frowning deeply. What was so funny? It was just what Nuk said, right? That was all, right? Junko would just tell herself that to make herself feel better, instinctively pulling her eyePhone out from her obi and holding her hand out toward Riley when the mindflayer asked to borrow it. She pouted at Nuk's teasing. "We're the same age, Nuk." Junko retorted, settling down again as he warned her against letting Riley borrow her phone.

"Maybe she just wants to text Malodore're something. And there's nothing to be jealous of. You're wet and smell like wet dog." What had gotten into Junko all of a sudden? It had to be more than just simply being tired, especially with the way She was grinning underneath the ghoul's hair. Nuk couldn't see it, but perhaps if Riley looked close enough she'd see a part of the grin from where Junko's hair fell with her cuddled up close against the skinwalker. Even despite the flaws she'd mentioned it wasn't so bad; it was like cuddling up to an annoying wet teddy bear.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 2:05 am

Riley snatched up the phone before Nuk could change Junko's mind (or grab it himself..) and her eyes crescented with mischief. Why thank you. She murmured, as her hands fluttered deftly against the touch screen.

It was a good thing she had memorized Shehk's phone number.

She pushed send, and looked up over the rim of the phone at the two of them. She wasn't jealous of their cuddles, but that did look comfortable. She rolled her neck slightly, before deciding that the deck of the ship was clearly a better place to lay down on than a bed. This was complete thought-sarcasm on his part, not that anyone could appreciate it.

She kept a hold of Junko's phone, not quite ready to give it back. It was as if she was waiting for something. Then she flipped the phone over, and dropped down to lay on the other side of Nuk. She held the phone up above the three of them, and leaned her head in. With a snap, she'd taken a candid shot of the three - two of which were sopping wet, and one exhausted looking dry ghoul. It wasn't their best picture ever, to say the least.

Ooh, she's right. Riley's tentacles cringed away. That's quite the wet dog smell you're sporting. She held one of her tentacles against her own skin, checking to make sure she did not emit an odd odor as well. Who knows what the sea could make you smell like?

"Oh well thanks Squirt, I feel the love," he replied with a little prod to her side, pretending to scowl and failing miserable. It was much too comfortable right here to do much of anything than just relax. Already his skin had dried, leaving only his pelt and clothing wet, the latter drying much quicker than the former. Still, while he felt comfortable to not wear his pelt around Riley, there were others on the boat than just them three, and besides, he did not want a wave to accidentally carry it off when he wasn't looking. Still... it was kind of wet... Sitting up a bit, he pulled the wet material out from under his back just as Riley was beginning to lay down as well, flopping it a few feet away to (hopefully) let it dry. Opening his other arm invitingly, he grinned as Riley decided to join them, laying back down and opening his eyes just in time to see her lift the phone and take a picture of them, blinking a little blearily.

"Wuhwazzat for?"

Not exactly expecting a response, he shifted a little to get comfortable before letting out a monstrous yawn, glancing between the two ghouls complaining about the smell.

"Do you really want to be coaxing me to take my clothes off?" He teased, smirking.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 2:39 am

"Goo--" She squeaked at the poking and pouted up at Nuk, settling down again and closing her eyes. She didn't even notice anything Riley was doing until the mindflayer was joining them, opening one bleary eye to peer through her hair at the other ghoul. What was she doing? Her gaze turned up toward the phone as she heard the faint click of the camera going off. Did...did Riley really just get a picture of her like this?! But why?! This was embarrassing why would she even...! Sh-she wasn't sending it to anyone, was she? Oh, Jack she hoped not! Especially not Seiji! Augh! She whined and reached tiredly for the eyePhone to take it from Riley, fully intending on deleting the picture before it could be sent to anyone or anything. "Gimmeeeeee."

Junko blinked and pouted up at Nukpana. "What? Gross. Keep your clothes on." She made a point of tugging on his shirt in a way that suggested it stay on and not even attempt to be pulled up. Of course the grip loosened not long after that and her eyes closed again, curling up beside the annoying skinwalker with a yawn. Did she get her phone back? She couldn't tell, but her hand was still flopped in that direction. Junko was out like a light, sleeping soundly while clinging as tightly to her impromptu pillow as a sleeping ghoul could manage.

Riley fiddled with Junko's phone a bit more, making sure to send the picture to her own phone before she received a message. She clicked it open, and her eyes slit mischievously.

Sorry, we'll put up with the smell if it means you stay dressed. Riley murmured, lifting her head slightly as she watched Junko flail for a moment before falling asleep. Wow.. that ghoul sure did fall asleep fast. She caught Nuk's yawn, and realized it was about time they all had some much needed rest. She pushed herself up and walked over to Junko, sliding her hands underneath the ghouls body before picking her up in a cradled hold. She remained bent down, holding the phone up for Nuk to see. On the screen was a message, a response from Shehk.

New Text Message From: Shehk Strigoi
He's doing -whatnow-?

When Nuk returned to his cabin, he would find a similar message waiting for him on his own phone.

New Text Message From: Shehk Strigoi
What are you doing 8|

Riley flipped the phone back into her pocket, and gave Nuk a wink as she stood to walk Junko back to their cabin. Sweet dreams.
