Liallia looked at Malphus with a slightly envious feeling in her chest. She could never fall into oblivion, as much as she had wanted to in the past. She pressed another glass to her crimson lips and drank its contents.

Malphas leaned up slightly and grabbed a few more bottles to drag to the floor.
"Now this is living."
He uncorked a full bottle, pouring the contents into his glass.

"Ah Hell," Liallia said grabbing a bottle and opening it, taking a drink straight from the bottle. Her thoughts were finally starting to haze, and it astounded her how hard she had to try.

The vampire gave a smile of approval.
"Now your talking!"
He finished the glass and took a swig from his own bottle.
"Much better..."

"You aren't too bad," Liallia said, a grin on her face. Her ebony hair had come out of its up-sweep and fell across her shoulders. She sighed and looked at her bottle before drinking from it again.

"Perhaps I shall," Liallia said softly while smiling. She turned her bottle upside-down and caught the last drop on her finger. She licked it off before setting the bottle aside. "It certainly wouldn't harm anyone,"

He shook his head.
"Of course not. Everyone here is too serious. We need more people around who know how to have a good time."
Draining the last of the bottle in his hands, he tried to set the empty container on the floor falling over in the process.

Liallia giggled again and fixed the bottle, offering her hand to Malphus afterwards.

Taking the hand, he pulled himself up to a sitting position as the room wavered in front of his eyes.

"Are you ok?" Liallia said looking at him concernedly. "I mean, for someone as drunk as you?" She smiled slightly after she was done talking and the color from the alcohol crept into her face more.

Maplhas shook his head, waving away the concern.
"I'm good. I mean, I'm not sober that's for sure, but it takes a good deal more than that to knock me out."

"Good," Liallia said stretching out her legs that had grown stiff from being bent. She herself felt slightly dizzy and she laid her head against one of the chairs with a small smile on her face.

Looking around, he realized how silent the castle was.
"Wow, I was more than positive I would have heard at least two or three people scream by now. I was even hoping for someone to run out the front door in terror."
