Tebald is not exactly trusting of other Soquili. Perhpaps it might be fun if Hez could bend him more to this distrust or 'befriend' him and use him. While Tebald knows what a skin is and what it can do (thanks to uncle Hoto) he doesn't really believe in good and bad. He's seen that even a 'good' soq can do terrible things.

whilei wouldn't object to having hez rough up anther soq i would like to point out his only motives are to maim and over come.. he's one of two boys and so is constantly having to prove his evilness so as to remain in the lines of being the heir to take over when his father eventually shows weakness enough for him to take down. (and eventually he will attempt it) so in other words I don't see Hez actually "befriending" anyone in order just to use and abuse them.. he's more of the take it down and maim it sort.. he's rather blood lusty that way
