After a while of letting Angela apologise, Lewis placed a finger on her lips & shushed her. "It's ok, you don't have to keep apologisin' to me. Just... don't try to kill yourself again, 'kay?" He smiled a little, his white teeth showing ever so slightly. The incubus remained in the position he was in, his eyes searching Angela's for a while. Trailing his finger across her lips & round her jaw he tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, then leant his body back so he was stood up straight again. "Well then miss, reckon you'll be ok now?" The demon looked down at himself then put a hand on the back of his head, "Hmmm... I might need to find a new shirt huh?"

Of course, she had no idea what he truly was. She stood back too, running a hand through her hair. She then watched as the incubus became sheepish about his shirtless-ness. She laughed very softly, and told him "There is one in the cleaner's closet at the end of the corridor on the left...I washed it myself..." she added, looking at the ground.
Angela realised what a state she had gotten in, and decided that she had to get things sorted around here. She straightened her labcoat and hugged the male lightly, glancing sideways at him, and made a beeline for the ladies' bathrooms. She would not go back out to work looking like this. Angela remembered that her things were in her bag so turned back, past Lewis, grabbed her bag and returned to the toilets. She stared at the reflection she saw; mascara streamed down her face, her hair plastered to her cheeks and forehead with tears and sweat and blood, bandages covering an alarmingly large amount of her body.
She had lost alot of blood though, and it was beginning to show as she grew shaky and had to sit on the floor. Angela backed into a corner and leant her back and head against the cool wall, a silent, single tear streaming down her face. A symbol, a commemoration of all that had happened to her recently. •°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°• To the edge of the ɛậṝȶħ, It's a brave new ẅɵṝȴɗ from the last to the ƒɨṝṩȶ {{ OOC:}}

Falixus Do you know your enemy? Falixus' body rolled off to the side, slumped on the floor now, and the wyvern's sides heaved with each ragged breath. The explosion had flung shrapnel into his back, embedding in the rear of one lung. He was going to die?!
Falixus roared exasperatedly, the once pride striken wyvern now reduced to a pile of bleeding, whimpering and writihing mess. He wanted Adrastos to escape whilst he still could, for surely the explosion would have alerted humans.
It was almost as though they heard his thoughts, because an elite team of capture artists flooded from the building. They tranquilised falixus and then aimed to do so to the gryphon. As falixus wandered aimlessly into sleep, he pondered 3 things;
Would he live?
What was going to happen?
Would they capture Adrastos?
Once they did what they could with the gryphon, half of the team began to bring out two systems of restraints and transport cages to take the beasts into the facility. One asked another "I wonder what these two were doing already in the facility..."

Adrastos stared as Falixus fell to the floor. Without hesitation the gryphon plucked a pouch made of leaves from around his neck, this had been a gift from a group of healing Fae that he had saved from the humans. This pouch contained their best magic and Adrastos intended to use it to save the life of his wyvern friend. Using his beak he quickly pulled the shrapnel from Falixu's back, he needed to mave quickly he could hear the humans coming, and swiftly opened the pouch to pour its contents over the wounds. Once the magic touched the wyverns back the wounds began to look days old.
As Adrastos stepped back that was when the tranquillisers flew past and hit Falixus. A mighty roar tore from his throat and many ran as his furious red eyes turned to them. He knew what humans planned but he would not be put to sleep. Rearing on his hind paws Adrastos spread his wings wide and, taking advantage of the humans frightened state and slackened grip on their weapons, beat his wings causing a gale forced the tranquilliser guns out of their hands and out of their reach.
With that done Adrastos stalked over to his fallen comrade, a growl sounding in his throat but otherwise not showing any aggressiveness. Slowly and cautiously the humans approached.

Falixus Do you know your enemy? Falixus was already out cold, his wounds healed by the help of his avarian friend. But the humans were not by any means finished.
The ones that calmed down now collected their weapons and moving closer, firing off several well aimed darts at Adrastos. The ones that hadnt stood back, shaking and eyeing the beast carefully.
More darts whilsted from the ends of the guns, and if Falixus wan't already tranquilised, he would have been now. Guards moved in on Adrastos, throwing ropes through the air to slink around any free extremety of the bird beast. Once they had done all they could, they threw a chain collar over Adrastos' head.
They had managed to slip one metal shock collar over Falixus; head and fix it there whilst they distracted the gryphon, now they wanted to get him under control before Falixus woke up.

Adrastos had, had enough now. The darts fired into him began to take their toll but the adrenalin that was now coursing through him dulled their effects. The humans were able to get the ropes and chain around him but were unable to tighten them as he reared back once more, stumbling slightly due to his bindings and the tranquilliser but he would not be taken like this. Humans were foolish creatures, they had brought on their deaths by doing this to himself and Falixus, he had intended to go quietly but no more.
The screech that escaped him managed to somewhat stun those that were closest and with his talons he felled three and lashing out with his head his beak took out another. The ropes were easily sliced by his talons, the chain however remained around his neck. Beating his wings, Adrastos charged the rest of the humans. They fired more darts but those were stopped the gale his wings created.
Blood splattered the walls and floor as each human fell to beak and talon, none were fast enough to get away and none were strong enough to resist. Soon they all lay dead in pools of crimson. His beack opened in a pant, Adrastos turned and, using the last of his strength, dragged his wyvern friend away out of the building and into a shadowed blind spot before colapsing beside him. With adrenalin no longer flowing through his veins the tranquilliser was now taking its toll on him.
His red eyes closed and he just hoped that the dose that was given to both of them was not strong enough to keep them out for long although he took comfort in knowing that the Fae's magic that was now healing Falixus would also work against the tranquilliser. One eye opened slightly and peered at the leaf pouch that was now tangled around his ankle (wrist?), he silently thanked his small friends before succumbing to the drug no inside him.

Aleksander held the map up in front of him to get a better look at it. "It's supposedly the map to the fountain of youth... It says it's close to the city of gold- El Dorado, but I didn't see it when I went there... Then again, that was thousands of years ago, so it could of been built since I went." The ancient man lowered the map and looked up at his hoofed friend. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, turns out I'm just over 10,000 years old, because they found some of my cave scribblings. and managed to date them... Pretty amazing don't you think?" He laughed as he rolled the map up and paced it in one of the labcoat's deep pockets.

Bhaltair turned his head & raised an eyebrow at his ancient friend. "I suppose I am but a child to you then Alek?" He put a hand on the back of his neck, feeling the short mane that ran down it. It felt strange to him, being so much younger than someone else when he was normally by far the oldest (especially compared to humans). He always felt a little bewildered when he was around the man.
As indicated, Lewis walked out of the room & headed for the closet at the end of the corridor. While he could have simply created another shirt he figured Angela would be suspicious if he suddenly had a new piece of clothing, so he resigned himself to using a human shirt. Couldn't have her figuring him out now could he? Once the incubus found the closet, spotted the shirt & slipped it over his head, he debated what to do now. He could go back & see how Angela was, perhaps drain a little more energy from her; or he could explore this facility for a while, maybe snag a girl & have a little 'fun'. A small, cruel smile passed across his features before he spoke quietly to himself. "Yes... that seems like a very good idea to me...."

"A human's lifetime seems like that of a mayfly to me... A fleeting glimpse of this world..." The ancient man sighed and scratched his greying stubble. "I tend to befriend those with longer lifespans, such as yourself... You'll know how it feels to lose friends to time, but I have watched all previous human friends and lovers of mine slowly decay and die over the years..." He stopped as they reached a turn in the corridor. "Ah, but I'd never give up what I've got... I'm sure there's something I'm supposed to do here, it's just finding it that's the hard bit..."

She rose to her feet and stood in front of the mirror, leaning with her palms on the countertop. Angela lifted her gaze slowly, somehow knowing that she could see something in the mirror, but not wanting to look.
With her gaze full on the shadowy figure, she took in everything in a instant. The 8foot tall creature was shaggily furred with a dark coal grey coat, with long pointed ears that swivelled with each sound. Four powerful limbs were also furred, and each tipped with either a hand or foot that resembled a clawed paw. Behing the beast, a thick tail swayed gentlye as the creature's chest heaved with each breath and it's lips rippled with a low growl. What was most devastating was it's eyes. It did not blink. Nor did it have a pupil. But when one gazed for a brief second into those start white orbs, one fell...to where, no-one knows. But for that brief second, one was not on earth. They were somwhere of death and despair and pain and horror and torture.
Angela let out a gentle gasp, and grasped at her shotgun laying beside her bag on the floor. As she cocked the gun and whizzed around, she fired off a single bullet, figuring that the close range would kill the monstrosity...but her mind boggled as she saw the a hole in the lavatory door...there was nothing stood behind her...
The woman sighed and dropped her gun, slid her glasses up the bridge of her nose and pushed a sandy blonde curl behind her ear. •°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°• To the edge of the ɛậṝȶħ, It's a brave new ẅɵṝȴɗ from the last to the ƒɨṝṩȶ {{ OOC:holy crup its a post...dun dun duuun plot twist??}}

Bhaltair nodded his head slightly, "Yes, the life of a human is such a sort one... the miss so much because they simply cannot survive long enough. Perhaps you need to find a partner that is immortal like yourself? You must get lonely over the years." The centaur ran a hand over his chin, thinking to himself for a moment as he walked along the corridors. He had to slow his pace considerably to ensure he didn't overtake Alek, luckily he'd gotten used to it. "As for your purpose, I'm sure you'll find it out when the time comes." The large horse-man slapped Alek lightly on the back, a smile forming on his scarred & battered face.
From behind a rather unimpressive door, Lewis emerged, his hair slightly ruffled but his skin 'glowing' ever so slightly. He had a rather large grin on his face as he closed the door behind himself & walked away. No-one had seen him emerge &, he figured, no-one would notice the girl that had been with him for a while, enough time for him to be elsewhere. He wondered when she would be found... or at least, what was left of her. She hadn't been all that tasty in the end & his expression changed to one of irritation when he recalled how 'Lilith' had felt when she'd kissed.. what was he called, Alek? It was annoying that she could grab someone like that, an immortal! He doubted he'd be able to get the guy to do anything... ah well, he could have fun with the various girls in this place in the meantime.
From what he'd gotten from Angela earlier, she'd seemed a pretty decent morsel, as humans go. There was a slight twinge in the back of his head - probably Lilith trying to take over again - but he pushed it away as best he could; he was going to get as much fun out of this as he could!

Angela slipped her shotgun back into place after reloading the weapon, picking up her bag as she did so. The head researcher sighed as she emerged from hte ladies'bathrooms. A rather plump flustred man whom she knew as Dr Jenkins stopped her, hurridly asking Angela if she had seen Lucy Hidel. Angela pondered with for a second, reaslising she hadn't. "Set your team of full alert, find her. This isn't the safest place to be on your own," she stated, turning the other way.
Angela was looking for Lewis, she wanted his help with that...that thing that was behind her.

"Us immortals are few and far between these days... And then she's got to be good looking too of course, none of that pale vampire bullshit either..." He laughed as they neared the entrance to Bhaltair's room.
They both stopped suddenly before they turned the corner, noticing an armed guard standing outside the door, dressed in a black uniform and wearing a gas mask fitted with inbuilt night vision. Aleksander peered around the corner to get another look before turning back to face Bhaltair.
"s**t. They must be searching for me in there... They aren't messing around either, they sent Spectre"
The spec-ops Angelus squad, known only as 'Spectre' was made up of an unknown number of the most skilled soldiers trained by the Angelus corporation, supposedly trained by [REDACTED] himself before [REDACTED]. Officially they are dead and there is no such thing as a 'Spectre squad'.
Elsewhere in the facility, the other half of Spectre had infiltrated the generator rooms and sabotaged the facility's power source, immediately shutting off the electricity, including all of the lights.
The lights suddenly shut off, plunging the maze of corridors into darkness. Alek drew one of his revolvers and stayed silent beside Bhaltair as the Spectre soldiers started moving down the corridor towards them. "Goddamn... they have night vision, so we've got no choice here, we have to fight." The ancient man held his revolver up at head height, waiting for the first of them to walk into his ironsights.

Bhaltair had grinned to himself at Alek's laughter & had to stop quite suddenly at the corner. He said nothing as Alek spoke, nor when the lights went out, he simply stood where he was, face becoming deadpan. The centaur knew he would be able to find his room, even in the dark, considering how often he'd memorised the route. Without a word, he reared up behind Alek before charging round the corner, his hooves clacking loudly on the floor of the facility. Luckily for him, these particular soldiers were rather 'new' so the sight of a massive centaur suddenly bearing down on them was enough to make them pause long enough for him to get past (probably knocking a few of them as he did so). Within a couple of seconds he'd banked sharply to the left & entered his room, remembering exactly where he'd left his armour.
A few moments later the battle-worn horseman erupted from behind the doors of his room, now clad in golden battle armour - the metal was not actually gold, as that would be too soft, it just looked golden. Each hand now held a massive, elaborately embellished sword which could be heard making a slight 'whooshing' sound as he moved it through the air. Bhaltair lowered himself a little, holding his arms (& thus the swords) out to the side of him, the tips just touching the walls either side of him. Sure he couldn't see the soldiers in the corridor, but he could damn well smell them! After pawing the floor with one hoof he began to charge down the corridor again, his swords now making sparks where they dragged along the walls.
As the facility was plunged into darkness, a wide, evil grin spread across Lewis' features. Almost without thinking he let his wings emerge & inspected his claws with his now glowing eyes - he was built for the dark. He pondered briefly who had caused the sudden power fail, but then shrugged to himself; he didn't really give a damn, this would just provide him with more fun. In fact... I think I'll go find Angela again, see how she's doing. Other than his eyes, all of the incubus' features returned to looking like an average - though very attractive - human. He walked very quickly through the corridors of the facility, able to travel just as easily as if the corridors were fully lit. A couple of times he stopped & listened, certain that he could hear heavily armed people moving about, though they didn't come too close to where he was.
It wasn't too long before he came across Angela's study again & he spotted her a little way down the corridor. Smirking to himself, the incubus jogged lightly towards the woman, bashing into her as though he couldn't see; just as he did so he made sure to mask his glowing crimson eyes. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry, I couldn't see anything! Are you alright?" He laid his hands lightly on Angela, running his fingers down her shoulders to her arms as though he was trying to find a good purchase to steady her if she needed it.

Angela had stopped and immediately snatched up her walkie talkie as the lights went out, but she could get no communication. That had her worried. But as a figure bumped into her, her hands flustered and dropped the device, but that sweet lyrical voice stopped her in her tracks. "Lewis!" she exclaimed, her features and demeanour suddenly softening. Lewis was her weakness...and yet...she had no idea why. The head researcher didn't even contemplate the idea that Lewis was in fact an Incubus.
Angela smiled for a second, before slipping her arms behind the man's neck. "I was...looking for you actually..." she remembered, her brow furrowing. In the dark, the woman was even more seduced by the mystery, her own memory having to serve her on what the male stood before her looked like. She had set her bag and shotgun down on the floor, stupidly feeling like she was safe with this...man.
[I will admit, Angela is fun to play XD ]
