  "Squall, you're the one who gives me the most comfort. Comfort and happiness... And annoyance and disappointment, too!" "You're-going-to-like-me! You're-going-to-like-me! Did it work?"  
Whoa, was he some kind of Serenitian King, or Prince? It was as if he understood exactly what she was slightly irritated at for a second there."Hee,hee..I don't know why it bothered me so much, honestly. It's far better then being feared! " And that was Rinoa's most terrible memories, she hated that feeling in the past, and would never want to feel such a horrible thing again. So why did it bother her when so many people thought of her as just a simple,weak girl? She wasn't entirely sure, even. Maybe she really was just that strange! "Good. Then, were partners! " Hmm, how long had it been since she actually used that word? It felt like an eternity since she fought beside her friends. They may not of been wonderful times, but she did miss the closeness everyone shared. She had never felt so alive, or so happy. As he stopped, Rinoa too paused, watching him work some kind of impressive magic by the help of his sword's mysterious power. "Oh, thank you.." She smiled. "Pleased to meet you, Itsuki. "
Then, to her surprise, the sword vanished, only to have another voice speak, the figure of another elegantly armored man appearing beside Itsuki. "..! " That..was certainly new. And she thought she had seen all there was to see. "That's amazing.." Though she didn't quite fully understood what he was. Was he seriously the sword?! ".Chrom? ...S-Sorry...I don't mean to stare..I've never seen anything quite like that. After this is over, will you explain exactly what you are? If you don't mind. " She just wanted to better understand what her new friends were, and all they could do to avoid any surprises later. "Yes, nether am I. There are a lot of people like us in this world. We've tried to find a way back for several years, though it hasn't been to good of news. On the other hand, in our time here, my friends and I have got to make many new friends in this world, there's a wonderful group called Avalanche that welcomes people like us. They have a massive castle that can hold all of us off-worlder's! You will be welcome, too! If you stay with me, I can take you there to Midgar City where you can meet them. If you feel comfortable. I don't think it's safe to wander lost out in this world, there's a lot of enemies, some that specifically search for people like us. "
She glanced off to the entrance. "Ah, right..! " Angelo positioned herself beside Rinoa, as she too got ready for battle. "Thank you, Itsuki.I will help you both as much as possible too." To begin, she would cast Triple on herself. This spell wouldn't work on them, as they didn't possess the same magic as she did. Though after, she cast Regan on both Itsuki and Chrom, along with Angelo and herself.

Itsuki Aoi"I'll always be here to support you." "I'd probably agree." Itsuki said to her first words. Having people be afraid of you seemed rather lonely, so he would prefer being underestimated over that any day. Itsuki nodded. "Partners it is." He said with a small smile. It felt like it had been a while since his last fight, too... though in truth it hadn't been terribly long. Still, running Fortuna for so many months made him rather lax on his training. He would've preferred to fight a few times before taking on an army to get back into the feel of things, but there was no time to complain.Chrom shook his head. "Think nothing of it." He said surely. "I'm sure it must be strange. I would be happy to give you a better explanation, if you would in return give us information about this world. Deal?" That would benefit both parties greatly."Then perhaps this is over, we-" Chrom's voice halted abruptly. "The monsters have stopped... something must be happening. I think there are warriors fighting them as we speak!" More like, they just saw the giant swarm of monsters and decided to fight to do something about it. "Itsuki!""Right!" Itsuki looked at Rinoa, nodding. "We take the fight to them!" Holding his sword up past his shoulder, he began to sprint forward, towards the exit to the city..."Uncle Chrom!""On my mark!" A group of Shepherds came across this massive group of monsters as they made their way back to Marvel City. Naturally, seeing them marching towards a large city, they thought to intervene. "Hah!" Chrom knocked a particularly powerful monster into the air with a swing of his Exalted Falchion, and Owain shot a bolt of Thoron at the monster, obliterating it."Well done!" Owain shouted. "But that is nothing compared to my power! Behold, the power that bards sing of--Owain Dark's mighty sword!" Owain rushed forward, using his blade to slice through the waves of enemies with relative ease. Even though most of these monsters were easy to handle alone, the sheer amount of them was staggering. It was almost the size of an actual army.
"Well, as father would say... let's tip the scales." Smirking, Owain then drew an Arcfire tome. He threw out his arm, as the book flew open, the pages flying across as the ancient text etched into them burned away. And from his hand, a spout of flame, which turned into a long-reaching flamethrower that turned everything before him to ash."There's still so damn many of them!" Chrom's eyes narrowed, blocking the claw from a monster with the Fire Emblem, before retaliating with a slash from his Exalted Falchion, sending the monster back into the group behind it. "Keep your guard up! Shepherds, don't let any of them through!" (( OOC: ))

   It was one massive cluster of energy, emotions and fear. This kind of energy specifically attracting to the Reaper's kind. And that, is exactly where a certain dark princess was sent. She would be hardly recognizable to most, but if one knew what to look for, or was close enough to Azura, they may see those clues. From the distance, the dark violet haired woman appeared, only to immediately begin walking forward to the direction of the battle and hoards of monsters forcing their ways into the city. Lifeless eyes set on those fighting to keep them at bay, and as she continued her approach her weapon began to materialize into her hand, a very large broad sword she seemed to be holding with just one hand. That could certainly make Cloud and Zack jealous.
"Destroy them. Take every life in this city..Do your worst until their precious city is nothing but dust! " Krul's voice would come to Azura's mind, who, despite her injuries, had to be enjoying this. She was obeying her nicely.Nothing was said from the dark princess as she swung the blade wide into the air. The energy she put into this was far greater then the one previously before, at Krul's home. She needed to destroy everything and everyone in this city and could only do that with max energy put into it.The wave of destructive and deadly force searing the ground as it flew across for the city and everyone fighting in front of the entrance! Like a blast of a large bomb, it would destroy everything in it's path for miles, it was so powerful it took out a number of the section of the city, and she was still coming!

Azura didn't even cast her eyes downward to look at the weak forms laying unconscious on the ground. She kept going forward, through the path of destruction she created in the form of one massive crater. Her new power was unbelievably strong, more so then anyone like her should possess. Entering through the city now, there were few more bodies collapsed to the ground, possibly lifeless, while others were struggling to breath their last breaths. One of those was the blue-clad sorceress, who was trapped under a large steel beam from all the fallen debris and ruble around them. She didn't even see the attack coming until it was to late. No one did, really. It came at them so fast there was literally no time to react. It was a good thing Rinoa cast Regane on herself and her allies before it happened, otherwise she too would likely be unconscious. The healing regeneration would only last a few seconds more, and even if it was not much, it was enough to keep them alive. She herself was struggling to stay awake, despite how much she wanted to just let her body fall asleep, everything in her body hurt. When the blast came, it sent everyone flying several feet until they slammed into something very uncomfortable, or very painful. Bracing her arms over the beam that held her, she used it to help her up just enough to see what was going on around her.In her position as it was, she couldn't cast any spells to help herself or Itsuki, who she didn't see anywhere around her. Not only that, Angelo was no where in sight.
As she tried to look more of her surroundings, there she would see a unfamiliar, darkly dressed woman, a blade in her hand that she didn't see possible to carry, and single handedly. The woman looked so set on destruction, but there was something about her that really caught her attention. Her eyes, clouded over as if in some sort of trance, a heavy spell controlling her to do something against her will. Rinoa knew this look, she had lived a similar moment, only not quite so sever as this woman was. The more she looked on the closer she got, something around her neck grabbed her attention suddenly. "...A-Azura...???" She gasped. That pendant, only the mermaid princess had this pendant, there was none like it in the world. While some may be similar, Azura's was very unique. The small pearl inside the shell always seemed to have a soft blueish glow showing it's constant flow of power it had to keep Azura's human form as it was, and giving her the choice of when she wanted to return to her mermaid form. "What..happened to you..Azura.." At this point, Rinoa began to move her hands under the beam in attempt to push it off of her. Azura was still coming, and not responding to her. Worse? She was lifting the Death Bringer again. Well, it certainly seemed the perfect name for it at this point. If she swung that again.......There was no way she, Itsuki or anyone in this area and the path of it's destruction would survive at such close range.

 Purple Sister -    The same energy began to flow heavily from the darkly sword, Rinoa's life felt suddenly as if it were about to end as she could only watch the blade come down with terrified eyes.This may of been the first time she had ever felt such fear. There was no one here moving, no one could save her or the many people in this city! With only a scream to pray her voice would reach her, a voice of a dear friend, would it break the spell she was in?
And then, a brilliant light lit up the sky, and Rinoa closed her eyes as the one thing came to her mind. The end.
But...no end came. She was breathing, and she knew she heard the chime of blades clashing with the flash of light. How were they not completely obliterated? How was she still alive?
The girl in a strange white suit and long light purple flowing hair, may have something to do with that. As her soft purple colored transparent wings kept her above, Rinoa would notice her blades were locked with Azura's, as she released her own attack on the mermaid princess to cancel out her deadly attack JUST before it got released! "I won't let you hurt anymore people!" She yelled, trying to keep herself in front of the area Rinoa was, if she could only get this woman down, or keep her focused on her...This city and it's people would be unharmed, no death would come. At least, not to the rest of the city. Had she gotten here earlier, the few that did meet that fate by Azura's first attack may of still been alive.
It seemed her plan was working, she had managed to stop her attack, and somehow still was able to keep their weapons locked with all of Azura's new strength and power.
Or was she really lucky? Suddenly, a mass of energy swirled around the dark princess's blade, and she swung it to the side, freeing her blade effortlessly! Next, Azura brought the blade back. It all happened so fast, Purple Sister was unable to react fast enough before it was thrust forward, into the girls stomach. Again, she swung her blade in a heavy mass of energy, causing her to fly from the blade, and through the air several yards back. Through buildings, and anything in her way until her body slid from the last building of impact, where she dropped to the ground unconscious and judging by the wound, the worst fate may of come to her. Death. Upon losing consciousness, her transformation faded away to a more cuter attire that really would throw her off as any kind of a fighter. Her uniquely styled sailor-like themed dress, pink and white knee high stockings and boots didn't look to much to others we a battle-skilled teen.

Purple Heart"I'll show you the power of a Goddess!!" "Oof!" Neptune managed to catch her younger sister as she began to fly through the air, lowering to lay her on the ground. "Nepgear...!" She used a Nep Bull EX-II on her, which should restore her energy completely. But it might not wake her after that attack. "You..." She darted up into the air, speeding toward Azura, only to stop abruptly a few feet away. "I will not tolerate this! I, CPU Purple Heart, will destroy you!" She sped forward, slashing upwards at her, to knock her in the air. Then, she began to slash at her from all sides and angles at incomprehensible speed, with an attack that would make Cloud and Squall jealous. "I will end this with Neptune Break...!" This was one of her most powerful attacks. Delivering another powerful blow upwards, she sped above her, stabbing her sword into her, and sending her straight to the ground as she sped forward into it, creating an explosion of her energy."Itsuki!" The Mirage Chrom lifted a large piece of a building that had landed on the Mirage Master, freeing Itsuki finally."Chrom...!" Chrom changed forms into a blade again, and Itsuki hurled the blade towards Rinoa. Upon getting close, Chrom returned to his regular form, and lifted the steel beam off of her. "Lady Rinoa, quickly!" He said, as Itsuki quickly got up, making his way to join them. (( OOC: ))

    Neptune may of had great unmatchable speed on her advantage, and great swordsmanship, but even she may find that Azura wasn't going to be that easy. When she came at her, attempting to slash her and send her flying up into the air she would feel the very force of her own blade's energy fly right back to her as it struck a invisible barrier. Her next series of strikes would also not seem to reach her, as she stood calmly in the middle of the barrier now. Azura's own arms raised with the Death Bringer ready to make high use of it's name, while Neptune went on her next, more serious attack. She would not be touched as hoped, at least not yet. To Azura's surprise Neptune's blade managed to slice into the barrier, and it would begin to shatter slowly.Though a great deal of it's energy still remained, keeping her now only somewhat protected. Until the explosion of energy had successfully taken it out.
And by that time........Azura had slammed Death Bringer harshly into the ground, what would sound was something similar to the earth cracking violently, the explosion about to flow out ward to a great deal of the city when...!
Shots were fired rabidly,In only a split second, thousands of bullets were in the air, along with many clones of a certain, well feared young Reaper, Celina.Each of her bullets contained a special ability, a sort of time stop, only what the bullet's struck would be the only ones stopped. That went for the explosion that would have taken out half the city and it's people, along with injure Neptune pretty badly, if not kill her! She was right in it's path, after all!
"And people say I'M the evil one! What a naughty mermaid princess you are, I think someone needs heavy punishment! " She had always wanted to get back at her for Leander's sake,this was her grand chance.. "Now it's time to send YOU to a darkness you won't awaken form! " With a quick change of her many mysterious and deadly bullet's, Celina fired again. Her clone having faded away only seconds before.
Meanwhile, below not far from the scene, Rinoa was suddenly freed from the beam holding her by Chrom, who she managed a small nod in thanks to. Unfortunately, she didn't have time to thank him by words as the scene unfolded before her eyes. "No..! Stop! Celina..everyone! " That included the purple haired warrior. "Don't kill her! She's under some dark spell..! She tried to yell, but it didn't seem her daughter, Celina was listening. She fired seconds after Rinoa gave the warning, causing the sorceress to rush for Azura, and shove her down just narrowly avoiding what would have been a devastating magic for Azura, one she may not of been able to recover from. "What the..!? Are you insane?! I could have.....!" Celina's teeth bared in anger. What kind of stupid move was that? If Rinoa took the hit or was even grazed by it, she would be killed instantly.. "Idiot mother.." She muttered to herself, again changing out the bullets to the previous time stop magics. Pointing the barrel point blank to Azura's forehead, she fired. The out of control princess would no longer be able to move her own body. "This magic may not hold her as she is right now. So you better start thinking of a plan to wake her up, or this starts all over again. "

Squall Leonhart"I'm not gonna die here. After all... I've got a promise to keep." "Did she do all this...?" A voice came from near the entryway, as two figures, one familiar and one not, stood there. Squall and Zen had arrived on the scene moments after the monsters were all slain at the hands of Azura.Zen primed one of his crossbows, aiming it at Celina. "Stand back." He told her."..." Squall glanced at Zen. "Lower your weapon." He said. Zen reluctantly did so. Squall took a few steps forward. "So, this is what the Reapers do, huh..." He glanced at Azura. "I don't think there's much we can do..." He glanced at Rinoa, before glancing to the side. "I assume only one person could fix this sort of mind control easily, and he's not here right now." That being Ephraim. He didn't think there was much they could do to end the spell. Especially for such powerful mind control, as it would have to be given the circumstances. "I don't suppose the king has a cell phone..." He didn't, as it turned out. (( OOC: ))

There was a time when Rinoa would have jumped in excitement to hear Squall's voice, and more so to see his presence. Though given what all had just happened, there was little joy in her heart right now. She couldn't become a thrilled, chippy person at a time like this, even though she WAS happy to see him. Squall would know that, she hoped. "No, it's all the Reaper's work as far as I see it.." That's how she would see it, no matter what happened. This wasn't Azura, this was not her friend. "They are horrible..." "..Hmm, I resent that! What a mean thing to say....Well, not that -I- have anything to do with this. Honestly, I wasn't even told of their plot to take the Serenitians. " Quite annoying, actually. Did they not trust her? Maybe her madness was even to much for them. Celina then just...vanished, only to reappear behind Zen, her arms wrapped around the teen suddenly. He wouldn't be able to move! "And who's this trigger-happy dear you brought along?"
After Celina's last words, a energy would begin to flow from all around Azura. Uh ohhh. Seems her hold on her wasn't so strong after all.Only moments later, the dark princess was starting to get back up....Her sword returning to her hands.

 ___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." Distant galloping could be heard as the scene unfolded, and soon enough, a king upon a white horse could be seen, as he made his way to the scene finally. "So, this is Esthar..." He had never been here himself, but he had a map of the entire world along with most of the cities that had been brought here from other worlds. This city... hurt his eyes. There was so much... technology. It was a bit much. It almost seemed like it was trying too hard to look technologically advanced, and Ephraim didn't exactly care for it. Of course, he would always prefer the sort of kingdoms and villages of Magvel, and especially his own kingdom, Renais, but still...
Coming to a half before the scene, Ephraim looked down at the ones gathered around his fiancee. "I thank you for keeping her contained. But now I must ask for your absence. I would face my fiancee alone." He said seriously. He wasn't going to take no for an answer, that was clear."She is extremely powerful. I would recommend against facing her alone." Purple Heart advised."Your recommendation has been noted. But I will not be adhering to it. Leave, please."Purple Heart sighed. "Men..." She said under her breath. "Very well. But should you fall, I will return to the scene at once." Lifting up her unconscious younger sister, she flew past him to leave him with her."Let's go, Rinoa." Squall said. He didn't particularly care for this Ephraim person, but... he understood how he felt. In his shoes, Squall wouldn't want anyone else around either. Taking Rinoa by the hand, he led her away after Purple Heart."My name is Zen." Zen said in response to Celina. "I would appreciate it if you would refrain from touching me." He said politely. He then nodded to Ephraim. "I know what it means to have something to protect. So I will listen to your request." He said. "Celina, right? We should leave them alone." He said, intending to lead the girl away from the two after Squall and Rinoa, with Itsuki and his Mirage close behind.  (( OOC: ))

Celina was certainly right when she said her magic wouldn't hold Azura for to long, even she knew just how strong she was,it was only a few moments until the magic began to fade and Azura was once again, preparing to strike the few people gathered around her. Had she managed to, the attack would be devastating and very likely kill them at such close range. The heavily destroyed area of the city and outside of it, was enough to make that clear. If she would create a massive crater in the ground outside of the city from just one attack, how would humans survive the same attack so close?
"....." And then, a certain king rode up on his white horse. His presence nor figure seemed to have any further reactions from Azura, the hold was to great over her mind, far more then Aria's had been. Unfortunately Ephraim wouldn't have such an easy time breaking the spell just like that.The Reaper's had really made sure it wouldn't be undone by the presence of her loved one especially. And so, when the others began to leave, her attention focused on the only one standing there.The only one who may of proved to be a challenge, Ephraim, otherwise known as the love of her life, her fiancée.'
It seemed the only thing she was able to understand, was he was here to challenge her. So, he would get that challenge without much of a warning as Azura swung the blade into a upper cut, creating the same devastating magic to be hurled into the king's direction!

______________"Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win."Ephraim pulled on his horse's reins quickly, making it dodge to the side to avoid the slash from his beloved. "Goodness, Azura. I'm starting to think you don't like me very much." He dismounted his steed, which then rode off to the outside of the city, as he faced Azura. "I rather like that look on you. How far must the Reapers have warped your mind..." He sighed, drawing his lance. But it wasn't his signature lance, the Sacred Twin of Renais, Siegmund--it was a different lance. The one Mordi had made him while they were in the Reapers's realm. He pointed Mordi's Gift at Azura. "This is a lance our daughter made me after you struck me down. Does that mean anything to you?" He asked. "Mordi, Marie, Niki... and we have another you don't know of." At least one. Yoshio. "If I must defeat you to save you, I will do so." Not that he liked his chances. He had never defeated her yet, and now she was even stronger. Though their previous fights had been... less than serious, to say the least. "Or you can drop this charade, and we can go get married like we planned to do. What do you say?" He doubted that would work.
Had she not responded to any of his words, he would go into action. Dashing forward, he stabbed his lance at her massive blade, hoping to knock it from her hands. Or at the very least, knock her off-guard. Had that worked, he would rear his shield back, bashing her in the gut with it to knock her down. Had those both gone as planned, he would waste no time going down to sit atop her, so he would be straddling her. And he would then attempt to pin her wrists down, so she couldn't move. Considering all his armor, it would be difficult to move at all with him on her like this. But who knew. She must have been insanely strong with the power she possessed. "I thought the situation would be much different when I first did this..." He muttered to himself.(( OOC: ))

Purple Heart"I'll show you the power of a Goddess!!""..." Purple Heart looked down at Nepgear as she carried her. She really wanted to do some damage to Azura before leaving for this, but it wasn't her fault, and she understood that. But still...
Now was one of the few times that Nepgear actually looked like the younger sister. Had Purple Heart reverted back to her regular form as Neptune, it would raise the misconception once again that Nepgear was the older sister. Neptune was older, but... she didn't look or act it in her normal form."Rrgh..!" Owain gasped as he was knocked back, holding up his sword to defend himself. "Urgh... a hero doesn't... fall..." He grunted. It was hard to even stand after what Azura had done, but now he had to defend himself..."What the..?!" Purple Heart looked up quickly."RAGH!" Garon brought his massive Bolverk axe down where Owain once stood, but he managed to dodge. "Pitiful little runt. You think you are worthy to marry the daughter of the mighty King Garon?!""..." Sephiroth also stood there, his eyes closed as his head was turned away. "We are not here to play with your relatives, Garon. Don't forget our-" His eyes came to rest on the group as they entered. "Oh. Isn't this a surprise..." A sadistic grin spread over his features. "Most of you are unfamiliar... but I do remember you...""Sephiroth..." Squall muttered. And Lionheart was in his hand a moment later. "Don't the two of you have better things to do?""Ha! The little runt sure talks big." Garon growled."I would suggest against taunting a lion." He said, getting into his fighting stance."Lion? I see nothing before me but a few pesky bugs." Sephiroth summoned the Masamune. "I wasn't planning on getting my hands dirty, but... you've intrigued me.""Gods..." Chrom stepped back, taking a deep breath. "These dastards wouldn't be such a challenge if I was in better shape..." But Azura's attack obviously took a lot out of him and Owain, and even knocked them unconscious for a while."Fall back," Purple Heart said. "And please, take her with you." She gently gave Nepgear to him, so he could carry her to safety. "Please, be careful. She is my sister...""..." Chrom nodded. "I understand." He had a little sister of his own. "Owain! We need to retreat.""Damn...!" Owain stepped back. "Give them some good hits in my place...!" It was unfortunate for anyone who had to face her, it was like talking to a wall. They got no real acknowledgment or word from them, no matter how deep or emotional their words may of been. Such a speech may of broke any spell, but not this one. Just another way of seeing just how strong it was, to take over someone with the strongest mind ever, who never could be taken control of before. Reaper's were real trouble. When Ephraim got his horse to dodge by taking the reins, the darkly princess's eyes narrowed onto his own.He would see this woman was far from the person he loved. All her light and gentleness was gone, replaced with this...A corrupted princess.
With no response from Azura, it was clear she didn't care what he had to say. It wasn't reaching the real Azura's mind or heart. And so, he moved on to attack. Azura was already in waiting, prepared to take on any of his moves.
But what she didn't expect, possibly due to how harshly clouded her mind was, was just how strong Ephraim was, or how strongly the lance created by Mordi was against her.While it didn't knock the blade from her grasp, the sudden surprise of force of power he put into knocking the blade away had just slightly got her off-guard. Enough for the shield he brought forward, right into her gut. Azura was sent to fall harshly down to her back, but before she could get back up, an even stranger event occurred. Before her eyes, the teal-haired king was over her, positioning himself so he was straddling her much like she used to during their playful duels that ended with her on top of him. This was a change, to bad she probably wouldn't remember it! With her wrist's pinned and a heavy weight of his armor to add to his strength at keeping her down, there wasn't much she could do but glare up at him! For all her power these past few moments, was she really stopped in less then a minute?
Celina's dream had come true. Just when she thought all the action, all the fun, was over. Two had decided to come join and play with them. Well, one was one ugly mug, quite creepy, to say the least. He looked as if he would turn zombie in seconds. The other, the wonderfully handsome, evil, twisted man everyone hated. His very presence had all of them scared, and some hurrying off to leave, while the few, her father and the other young man she learned was named Zen, and the purple haired teenage young woman remained. " Mm...He is almost everything I thought he would be.." Celina said, grinning as she set her eyes on Sephiroth. "Let's see how powerful my beloved twisted soul is.." But first..
She fired a few dozen bullets for Garon, she had no real interest in the loud mouthed one. If even one hit or so much as grazed his body, he would feel his body paralyzed, unable to move as time had completely halted for him.
Under Sephiroth, a dark mass would form below him quicker then he could move from, and when he attempted to teleport out of it, he would realize. He wasn't going anywhere as many black, eerie shadow-like hands all reached out, grabbing a hold of his boots and legs. The dark aura would travel through his body suddenly, giving a sort of paralysis affect. He could talk, but he couldn't escape. And soon, Celina was there behind him, her arms around his waist as her hands felt along his form, though no where they didn't belong. She could manage anything to look seductive, though. "What about taunting a girl like me? " That didn't seem very scary, though for anyone who did know her, that would be pretty terrifying!
