"I don't really give a ******** what either of you two ******** heads did to each other. It makes no difference to me if ya two are lesbian lovers locked in a mad love octagon and just found out that one of you screwed the other's mother." The woman growled as she lowered the katanas slightly, a heavy sense of disappointment washing over her. She had wished these two had more back bone. "End of story. If you make any more trouble, I don't care who started it, I will end it." With those words, the kunoichi disappeared from view.

"You are a deplorable being Kaala to try and shirk away from any form of conflict through whining..." Hatsuma explained ignoring for the most part the female shinobi's retort. Hatsuma was ready to show this fellow 'comrade' a thing or two and teach him in a manner befitting of him. "Kaala we will finish this dispute now, it is between fellow countrymen so it should be thought of as training..." She explained as she looked at Kaala her expression deceptively flat and stoic. "If you are not a coward then meet me at the edge of the city..." She stated before turning about and making her way towards the exit stopping and turning to add one more bit of information. "And this dispute will be finished, here or in wind country the choice is yours..." she stated turning about once more and taking her leave of the arena.

Yuki's cold smile faded as the proctor approached and demanded them to stop. "Yessir." He said calmly, as his stance loosened up, as he knew nobody would make an attack. However, in his mind, he had both win and lost. The good news is that Hisaki's sword is still in his possession, but the bad news is, Yuki wasn't able to make the Hidden Sand Genin waste anymore energy on useless fights. Ugh, there goes that plan. I was hoping for him to lose control again. If he had bought my taunt about Kaala, he would have rushed to his friend, or the other way around. From there, I would have mind controlled Kaala and shown him how nasty I can really be, along with having Hatsuma join the battle. If I had played that smartly, I would barely waste any energy whatsoever but have him expend so much more...
"Alright Hisaki, let's go back to the room, I'm sure there is plenty of Ziti leftover." Yuki called as he began to walk away from the scene coolly, yet entirely worried about his next match. "Maybe you can help with a new set of skills I may have planned."

The proctor nodded to the two genin, the third would surely back down and if not there were already sound nin stationed nearby to instantly react to any more hostility in any needed way. "Then it is time for me to take my leave. Be good or else." With a quick turn, the man made his exit from the area and back to the arena.

((Man I missed a lot. Still color only.)) Erkamina heard yelling and ignored it, trying to figure out when she herself would be called but also tried to push away the residual doubt that hung heavy as a fog in her heart. She sighed, shaking her head. It wasn't the time for that now but she couldn't help it. That damned genjutsu trap before put the thought into motion and once there the idea was replaying over and over again. She resisted the temptation to scream as her own death was the end of the current iteration of vision. Even though the Genjutsu itself was long canceled she still saw it every time she closed her eyes, even to blink. It was too vivid for her to even desire to see ever again. But the vision played and replayed, like a broken record stuck on a single note that kept scratching and rescratching over again. She covered her head with her hands to hide herself from the world until she was called forth, trying to hide the shame of fear.

Hisaki was glad that Yuki showed up to help him in combat, but was a little peeved when the proctor showed up to break up the fight. However, this transaction did let Hisaki get his sword back. Notwen came over, and handed Hisaki the sword, which Hisaki snatched. That sword was his, and he'd never let it get stolen, unless it was pried from his cold dead hands. Hisaki made a mock-salute to the proctor, and said, "Yessir." Pain ran up his arm like electricity after the careless action, and he put his arm back down again. "As for you Notwen, I have a few last words for you. Your actions in the ring, as far as I care, were fine. I gotta feeling that you're gonna get alot of flak for those black flames and crap, so you can tell them that I okay'd it. However, because you tried to run off with Oblivion, you are no friend of mine. Next time we meet, I promise, I'll have caught up to you, and we're going to settle this thing." Hisaki turned away from Notwen, and slung his sword over his back. Hisaki began to walk away with Yuki, who seemed to be excited about some new skills he had in mind. Hisaki nodded, "Of course, but I just wanna clarify something first." Hisaki scratched his nose anxiously, "When I said I didn't mind losing my memories, it's not like I don't prize them or anything, y'know? I only mean't that I'm not going to let a jerk like Notwen walk away with my possessions. I don't want you thinking that you're replaceable or something, 'cuz you aren't. I mean, like... You know what I mean, right?"

Oasis sat quietly in the room with the food, the others had left, the stupid bird had left and Hatsuma apparently went after him, which was funny. She closed her eyes, the blue glow showed still from behind her eye-lids a bit as she picked up something from the table and took a bite. "bleh..." she states as she looked at the food, it was really weird tasting and she didn't like it, not a bit. "...Guess I should go too." she states quietly as she stood up and brushed herself off, the blue glow fading from her person as she did so, the next contestants were people she wasn't familiar with, and she was feeling a little restless so she wanted to go and do something else.

After the proctor had returned to the arena, Hisaki stated that Notwen's use of Amaterasu was okay, but because of the fact that he had tried to run off with the Sword of Oblivion, they were no longer considered friends. It was understandable, but that sword had caused the Uchiha something precious as well, no matter how insignificant it may seem to others. Notwen began walking towards the exit, but since his gait was much faster than most individuals the gap between him and the leaf duo shortened quickly. Is it just me, or did Yuki sound a lot like Oasis and Hatsuma just now? pondered Notwen as he caught up with the latter and Hisaki. The long-haired blonde fell into step with them, keeping to the opposite side of the hallway so as to not start up any unnecessary hostilities. Keeping his gaze ahead of him, he addressed the Yamanaka. "For starters, you misheard me Yuki. I had no intention of using the sword. Secondly, you don't really know me, even though we were team mates for part two. The way you talked back there sound a lot like what Oasis would say. She has this idea that i'm a traitor to our country because i followed my Kage's orders to act a certain way." Pausing for a while, Notwen reflected on that moment when he grabbed Vyrin's ankles and begged him to take him with Sai, shaking his head. I intended to come back to Wind. I was never actually forsaking them. He returned to the present. "Another thing. Kaala may look weak, but he can hold his own against Hatsuma. I'm sure of it. Oh, and Hisaki, I'm working on a technique that has the opposite effects of Amaterasu. It should help your burns heal better as well."

Yuki gave Notwen the cold shoulder as the Leaf Duo walked away, however, what the Uchiha said about how he sounded like Oasis was no coincidence. The emerald-eyed blond thought of it as Notwen's ignorance to his own flaws, which is quite asinine for a shinobi to do. Hisaki commented about how Yuki could not be replaced, which made the latter of the two snicker, "Don't get soft on me Hisaki." The Yamanaka said harshly, "People can take advantage of that." Now it was his turn to show some compassion to his fellow friend, which made him slightly nervous as he paid very close attention to his feet as he spoke, "I know what we have, a bond that only brothers would understand, ever since our Academy days. A part of my reason for being a shinobi and a Hidden Leaf Village Genin is to make sure that bond is never broken, since you're the only one I can trust. Wherever you go, I will go. Wherever I go, you will go. That is how we work. We train. We fight. We lose. We win. We live. Whatever we do, it is together, as brothers should be. I just wish I was capable of actually keeping up, or defend you, like you would for me." Yuki now stayed silent, he felt like he said too much to Hisaki. He felt unusual to let down his usual tough, cold outer shell. If anyone else saw this, he would have punched Hisaki in the face and instantly said something like 'ha ha, just kidding'! However, nobody was really paying attention. "Alright, is it share time over? I really want to train for this next match, and I have a fun idea you might like." He perked up as soon as he was off the subject, although he wore an unusual smile. Quote: I think SSA is just jealous of our friendship! C:

Hisaki, like Yuki, ignored the Uchiha, Damn if I let his bird-boy touch me. I'd rather just keep the damn scars. As they walked, Yuki commented on what he had said, and at first, Hisaki felt a little flattered by his friend's loyalty. He agreed and nodded whole heartledly until Yuki said the word 'brothers' the second time. At least the first time, in context, it was 'like brothers knew'. The second time around, Yuki sort of implied that they were. Hisaki's face took on a strange coldness, and he stopped in his tracks. Then he raised a finger, and laughed coolly "No no no, you see, I was going for, like, favored ally or combat buddy or best sidekick kind of thing. I trust ya in battle and all, but we're not brothers," Hisaki laughed, "We're not bro's either. Seriously, do I look like I'm from Kumo?" Hisaki loved to bust on that country's odd sense of style. Yuki initiated a new conversation just before Hisaki felt that he needed to clarify again, so the Lead nin felt that he should probobly address it now. "So, now that that's settled. We can move on to your training. What did you have in mind?"

Ka'rinth leaned calmly on the railing overlooking the arena and observed the new fight calmly as he shifted his weight slightly and narrowed his eyes. His sharingan was hidden by the shadows of the mask but he knew that there were a number of interesting things that might come up during a fight and he didn't like missing information that helped put together the puzzle of what people were capable of.

Yuki's smile broke down as he adorned his usual stoic face, mostly to hide the raging inferno that was his mind. Favored Ally. Combat Buddy. Best SIDEKICK The words repeated themselves in his head. "Follow me." Yuki barked as his insides began to burn with the intensity of his mother's temper. Sidekick. Me, a sidekick. How dare he just...discard what I had just said. If he is the only one in this dog eat dog world that I can trust without a word, how can he just find me as something that can help him fight? Am I really just some tool to be used? He trusts me in battle, but what about once the battle has ended? To him, our days training after the academy was just him using my intellect and determination to be good as some type of tool for his needs. Best friends don't treat each other like this, they treat each other equally. So if Hisaki doesn't see us as brother's, then what?
His mind began to ache with how much Hisaki's words hurt him, but Yuki did not drop his cool facade. He'll just have to keep his shell up around Hisaki, like he does to everyone else. What about all the times I used the Yamanaka Possession, fully trusting him to defend my body if things go wrong? Well, if he wants to use me as some type of step ladder to reach his goals, then I can slip out from under him. Make him fall. Show him not to mess with my lack of emotions in such a way. Yuki was doing a great job of not showing what he was really thinking, although the silence between them was unnerving. "Alright, since we cannot fight near the arena, we're gonna have to train elsewhere." He spoke quickly, "Lets make a little wager, just like our academy days. If I win this competition, I get to borrow your Sword of Oblivion against Notwen. If I lose, I'll teach you a technique or something." A clever smile hid his dark goals as he explained the small bet.
(Think we should move this to the other thread? :3)

Oasis arrived in the arena standing on the top rim of the arena and looking down in on the scene, it had changed from forest to cold lake. Other than the cold part she really liked this idea. She smiled ear to ear and hopped down grabbing the ledge she swung and threw herself to the top tier as best she could, only barely making the throw she righted herself and then proceeded to make her way down the rows of seating working flips and twists until she was on stable standing near the bottom at the front where she could get a good close look. She then noticed just who's turn it was. She grinned, it was her turn.

Hisaki entered the party room once more, fanning his hands as he said, "Guess what people! The party is~" He cut off as he noticed that no one was there. His brows furrowed, and he pulled off his hat, "Damnit..." In retrospect, he supposed that no one would be there. He had heard upon walking up this way from the passerby that 'the desert girl didn't seem to stand a chance', meaning that Oasis had lost somehow. Hisaki know how powerful Oasis was, and the fact that she wasn't here scared him, Who could come to the exams with more power than that?!
Then there was the rest of the party, Hisaki supposed that Notwen wouldn't be coming back because of their conflict before, and the same went for his phoenix summon. He also figured that Hatsuma never even came up to the party at all. He hadn't seen Yua in a while either...
Hisaki sighed, and scratched his head, "Well, party's over I guess, wouldn't you say so Yuki? If you want some food, I'm sure it's still luke warm."

Following Hisaki back to the room he rented, Yuki walked with peculiar vigor. He felt like his spirits were uplifted temporarily. Beating Hisaki, one would argue whether a forfeit would be considered winning, had made his confidence take off. However, he still held what the Hyuuga said earlier about their relationship to heart. Only combat allies.
As soon as they entered the room, Hisaki greeted the abnormally empty room, until he found out that nobody else was here. With a great sigh, his friend concluded that his party was over, with some leftover food. Agreeing with a slight nod, the blond made a move towards the untouched Ziti, until an announcement was made for the next round. Curiously, he glanced at the display, only to see his name paired up with the Aburame that had rendered Hatsuma unable to fight.
"I guess the Ziti will have to wait." Yuki groaned, setting the plate he was about to prepare down. "I do not know if I'll pass this round." He murmured under his breath as he walked out of the room, his confidence shaken again as he made his way for the stadium.
