Sora took his sweet time, it was the only way. Each step he took he thought about closely, examining the footing, the positoning of the threads, as well as his bodys location in relation to the sentries. With each step he got closer and closer to the center of the base until he eventually managed to navigate the entire field. Sora took off running, he was getting closer to where his team mate was last. He entered the base and looked forward to what he thought was his team mate before getting close enough to realize it was a dead guy, or at least it looked like it. "Damn.. My partner must have been strong if he did all this by himself." Sora shook his head and took off towards the exit, managing to get through the second test without a hitch.

"Look Hisaki, I know Yuki is your friend and all, but we cannot afford to spend the whole mission trying to free him from genjutsu. He'll be alright since the sentries are all destroyed. We have been helping him out this whole time, i think it's time he tried helping himself." Notwen turned towards the compound. The building held the target which they had to kill as their final task. Whatever it was, they had to get rid of it.

Hisaki stared at the glistening net that was draped over the poor blond at his feet. Hisaki didn't even bother to turn around when the final two dummies came around the corner. In that split second, Notwen came to his aid and took them on posthaste. In the background chaos, Hisaki managed to keep concentrated on the bundle beneath him, and tried to figure out a way to remove it without getting trapped himself. There was a loud explosion, but Hisaki didn't even move a muscle as shards and splinters of wood flew overhead and to his sides.
"Ok, what if I were to stab a katana through the middle and rip up. In theory, I'll rip it open like a letter opener or something... But, by stabbing in like that, I could risk Yuki's well being. I could try to slice in with a kunai. Yeah, I'll do that. It'll be kind of like an operation." Hisaki fumbled into his pocket, but found no ninja tools at hand. Thats right, I forgot that they were lodged in some of these dummies. Hisaki walked away from the wrapped up Yamanaka, and into the nest of tents again. It didn't take long to find the stationary dummies, and to pry his kunai and shuriken out of their wooden frames. He scanned them over, looking for damage, or signs of damage, but found nothing obvious on the hardly-used ninja tools.
Hisaki meandered back to the opening, and knelt down before the Yamanaka Package, and slid the kunai up to a ripple in the fabric. He then pressed hard up, making it taught. With a second kunai, he carefully traced an edge to cut, then put the blade to the intended spot. With a little thrust of strength, he attempted to unseal Yuki from his net-prison.
The kunai didn't even make a dent in the strong fabric. It was immediately obvious that the material was much stronger than it appeared. Although it was practically translucent from thinness, but yet had the tensile strength of meshed metal. Hisaki pushed a little harder, but it merely made his hand slip slightly. Hisaki quickly withdrew the kunai, and said mostly to himself, "If I keep this up, I'll be seeing stars too... Maybe I could try plan A... It's risky, but I probobly have a better chance of cutting this stuff if I use a full blade and stab rather than a little kunai at this range."
Hisaki stood up and flicked the kunai in his fingers. He let them spin coolly for a moment, then flipped them into his kunai pouch. Then, he put his hands onto the grip of his sword, the Blade of Oblivion. He drew the magnificent blade slowly, and flourished the metal once it was fully drawn from it's scabbard. Hisaki stood back, and lined up the tip of the blade with Yuki's knee. He slowly traveled up the supposed sillouette of the Yamanaka boy, then chose a spot where he wouldn't hit anything (unless Yuki's hand happened to be resting there). Hisaki brought the balde over his head, and brought it down hard on the shimmering foil. There was a metallic noise, and after the ringing ceased, Hisaki looked down to see how he did.

InuVash255 ((Str check: 20 vs 300 = -28 + 10 = 50%-18%= 32% 88 = FML)) "No, we break Yuki out now. With Yuki with us, we'll have that extra advantage to finishing our goal. If we rush in now, not only will be diminishing our team, but we'll be loosing one whole person to attack the target with. Leaving Yuki behind is out of the question." Hisaki pulled back his sword, and came down with another loud stab, but still didn't make any motion in the wiry net. Two more stabs didn't produce any headway either. Hisaki removed his leg from its position holding him up over his target spot. With a skip and a jump, Hisaki got back onto two feet on the far side of Yuki's lump. "Come on Notwen, you've gotta help me out with this. Come up with an idea, and put your back into it. Maybe if we work together, we'll pry him out," Hisaki slipped his sword beneath the layers of flowing net, and tried to lift it, but found that the weights were a lot heavier than they looked. Without some extra strength, Hisaki would have to try cutting it open again.

As Fuyu flew through the air, his mind was as empty as it could possibly be after the images that were burned into his mind. He wasn't even focusing on what was around him, just let pure instinct guild him through the air. There were a few kuni's with tags attached that were comming towards him. One dead center and the rest around it. The one in the center was the last one, so it wasn't the main threat. First was the surrounding tagged kuni that was the major threat. He didn't know how but he twisted and contorted his torso as to dodge them, and as the last tagged kuni came at him, he pushed up and used his air hike ability once more to dodge it and make it to his destination. He had confedence that the rest would make it so he looked over his shoulder and then infront of him. Everyone made it so he would follow once more and get ready for any more obsticals that could be in their way. It just so happened that eventually there would be another obstical that would possibly stand in their way. As it stood there though, the most important thing that needed to happen was to stop thinking about the images that he saw in the test with the vines. Those cursed plants were reaking havic on his mental state, which is what Fujin had noticed right after he was saved by Aya. Fuyu.... are you alright? Fujin's voice echoed in his mind a bit before he replied. I'll be fine.... Even just thinking the speech, Fuyu's voice seemed much flatter then normal and it began to worry I'm not so su- " I'm fine!" Fujin's voice left his head in which he was not able to continue focusing on the images, but before he could fully, they had gotten to the next task, what seemed to be Sentries. He sighed for a moment and got ready to make his approach. Fuyu stopped and paused looking at the sentries and trying to stay out of conflict if needed, last thing he wanted to do was go through what he went through about an hour ago. He shook his head as more images came through his head and made him remember the whole ordeal. Quickly he clenched his eyes underneath the wraps that covered his eyes and shook his head. He looked back at the sentries and realized that they hadn't been alreated of anyone's presance yet so it would be best to try and sneak past them quickly. He knew that one of his biggest advantages would be stealth so he looked over to the rest of the group and looked at what they were doing. It was working and getting them across so he grabbed the cloak that was drapped over his back and covered his entire body in it so that it would thusly blend into the area around him. He waited for a moment and then calmly walked through the sentries as they were un-aware of any presences around them. Once across he un-covered himself and placed the cloak back where it was, keeping it just incase it would be needed yet again. It was about another ten or twenty minutes until they got to where the target was. From what he could see, it looked like Jin had cleanly cut the target into two. It looked like it was only one strike because there was no second scaring that is assosiated with a second strike. He nodded but then the image of Aya getting slaughtered, even though false, pulsed threw his mind again which caused him to stop and clench his eyes. He was mentally being drained but he wasn't going to give up. He looked over as Jin was now leading the way since he'd gotten here first and most likely knew where the exit would be. Fuyu would be silent as they finished the exam and once out he'd quickly leave to be on his own for a little bit until the next part of the exam would be ready.

Aya held back entering further into the base, leaving it to Fuyu and Jin do deal with, Jin had gone in much earlier then Aya or Fuyu, Aya searched the grounds one she was close enough, and found Jin battling some dummy, which was the target, Aya stayed back and disable some of the traps before she made her way into the base itself, Fuyu had moved on ahead of her thoguh, she found the target it room with Jin and Fuyu just leaving it, Fuyu having only just getting there. Aya looked around removed the dummies head and the cloth wrapped around its body, before she walked after the other, she wasn't sure if then needed something to prove they had gotten the target, but it was better safe then sorry. "Ok you guys ready to leave, now this is over we can have some lunch". Notwen shook his head as Hisaki continued to try and free Yuki. The Hyuuga was wasting valuable time.
"Hisaki, i understand your logic, but sometimes we have to be rational. If Yuki wasn't physically capable of getting through any of the traps, there is a very high chance that we will have to save him again while we are fighting whatever it is that we have to kill. That would put the team at risk, so it would be better off if we continue, then come back for him." The long-haired blonde began walking towards the target's location. "I'm going ahead. If the target escapes, it is because you chose your team mate over the mission. As i said before, Yuki is fine. Come on!"
Without waiting for a response from the Hyuuga, Notwen began sprinting towards the large gray concrete building. Suddenly everything got eerily quiet. The Uchiha slowed down, activating his thermal scan as he neared the closest wall to him. He stared at the wall in disbelief. It was lased with heat insulation and a chakra barrier, which made it impossible to see, or detect anything on the other side.
"Wow, the proctors really want the target to be a surprise." Notwen whispered to himself as he inched along the wall to the edge. Looking around the corner slowly, he saw opened shutters and beyond those, what seemed to be the inside of a warehouse. There were large wooden crates stacked on top of
each other in clusters of four or more. Notwen rounded the corner and inched along the wall again until he was at the open doorway.

Walking into the storage area unjammed the thermal scan, flooding Notwen's vision with cubes that represented the crates. In one of the crates appeared to be a human-like silhouette. The Uchiha turned around just in time to see another dummy burst out of the crate. Unlike the others, this one had a wider range of motion and legs with small wheels on the soles of its feet. The dummy threw a net at Notwen, which the boy burned like the previous one. If i didn't have the ability to see thermal signatures, i would have been taken by surprise... thought the long-haired blonde, keeping his eyes on the dummy, which launched a volley of punches that Notwen read, and dodged easily. Time to go on the offensive!In the blackness within Notwen's subconscious, Drow Sant' Elmo stirred. The light-man opened his eyes and stared at his expected visitor. " So, you've found your way to me again, eh Notwen?" he said looking up a the astral form of the young Uchiha. " How can i help you?" Notwen looked down at his power sitting on the floor. " Drow, i need you to teach me how to use this power at will. What do i have to do?" Drow smiled, causing the light on his face to ripple. He held out his right hand. " All you have to do is resonate the vibrations of your astral self with mine." Notwen thought about what drow had said, then remembered how he hatched Kaala. Grasping the light-man's hand, the Uchiha smiled as well. " Well, let's get this resonance started." As both astral beings closed their eyes and concentrated on the connection, they began to meld into one. The light generated by the fusion pierced the darkness revealing a world of lush green islands. Back in the material world Notwen's eyes began to glow. His chakra began to pass through his skin and become aura. Looking at the target, the Uchiha struck with his power. (Yea, now he's closer to escaping. That's why we needed all three of us in there.) (164 lines before) Hisaki jumped up, throwing his katana aside, "WOAH! HOLD ON!" Hisaki started to run after the ridiculously overconfident ninja, but stopped, "If we're going to win, we NEED the helping hand!" However, in moments, the sand ninja was long gone. Hisaki threw his hands into the air, "COME ON! If it wasn't obvious enough before! We need teamwork to complete this with top marks!" Hisaki flailed his arms around wildly, shouting to the echoing swamp. "Now look what you've made me do! Now I'm shouting at no one! And the only person who COULD listen is our TEAMMATE below the bloody NET!" The Hyuuga frantically pointed at the covered lump at his feet. With a final scream, Hisaki picked up his blade from the dust, and started taking out his rage on the durable netting. Several rage-induced stabs later, Hisaki jammed the tip of his blade into the fabric, and turned it violently, then pulled back. Unsurprisingly, the net stayed together, with very little fraying. Wait... Fraying?! Hisaki jumped to the ground, and very carefully loomed over the fraying area, trying to figure out if there was a way he could cut all the way through, then cut or something. At the very least, he'd be able to use it as a 'kunai hold'. Hisaki pulled the kunai from his ninja toolbox, and slid the blade into the very small hole. With a second kunai, he attepted to stretch and widen the hole slightly. With just enough force, Hisaki managed to get both tips in. Very carefully, he began to add force moving out. There was a quiet but crisp ripping sound. With this fray, Hisaki was one step closer to releasing his friend from the genjutsu hold. Hisaki meticulously placed his foot on the net, and pulled out one of the kunai. With a flip and a toss, Hisaki threw the kunai straight up and into his mouth. Hisaki watched the glistening net leerily, then gradually shifted himself to he could reach his sword off to the side. After grasping its rough handle, he slid the tip of the sword into the cut. Alert to the potential to get caught in the genjutsu, Hisaki was very careful when he pushed the blade into the cloth. Now, with two hands, he grabbed the hilt, and tensed his muscles. He'd try to make a quick and powerful upward cut. If successful, he'd cut right through the cloth, and would be able to extract Yuki. If he failed, he'd after make up a plan B. Why did I think it would?" Hisaki pulled away his palm, and surveyed the complete lack of damage. Instead of there being a rip, the cloth had simply slipped off the blade when he swung. It was so loose that it could do something like that. Hisaki threw his sword behind him with a clashing sound, and gripped his face again. "Why can't things be simple? Like when I took out that barb from Yuki's leg? That was simple! Or why can't it be simple like when I piss him off. Just a comment about his 'mommy', and he snapps right out of any funk he's in and looks like he's ready to rip my throat out... With his teeth." Hisaki snapped, "Got it! I'll make fun of his mom! Where do I start? Umm, umm... YO MOMMA... No, what do I look like, I'm from Lightning country or something? Um... I could try singing again, but that'll look awful silly out here..." Hisaki looked around at the lifeless base, then hummed lightly, "How'd I start it?" The boy cleared his throat, and kneeled down. He put his hand to his mouth, in an attempt to direct the sound inside to Yuki, "Yuki's mom has got it goin on! She's all I want and I've waited for so long!" Hisaki paused, then added, "Pelvic-thrust-pelvic-thrust." He knew the idea was silly at best, but maybe that kind of treatment might snap the genin out of it. (203 lines, now i get +50 to saving Yuki checks)

There was still no answer. Hisaki stared grimly at the lump, then repeated the line again, this time with alot less emotion, "Yuki's mom has got it goin on..." However, after saying it, he drooped his head, "I could really use that helper right now..." Hisaki stood up, and walked around the perimeter of the net again. Hisaki stared at its fabric silloutte, and snapped his fingers, "LIGHTBULB!" Hisaki jumped back, and pulled the little gourd from his belt. He jumped to a cross-legged position on the ground, and placed the gourd in front of him. He waved his hands a bit, and flourished them. A few hand shakes later, he straightened up, and concentrated on the little gourd. As he stared nad leered at the hollowed out vegetable, a small trickle of oil slid out of the top. The whip of highly-flammable liquid curled and jiggled in the air, until the young oil-bender forced the oil to soak the end of the cloth. Hisaki directed the flow of oils to make a Yuki-sized trap hole out of the net. He couldn't do too much else from that: There wasn't alot of gas in the first place, and Hisaki didn't want to run out before a 'boss battle'.
Hisaki pulled the cigarette from his mouth, and threw it onto the net. It rolled down the side of the steep Yuki-blob, and rolled onto the fire-starting oil. Almost instantaneously, fire cropped up in all the places Hisaki had set up the fire-fuel. Now, Hisaki just had to sit back and watch the magic of fire.
He got up, and took a few steps back, and kept an eye on the controlled fires. This time around, it seemed fool proof. Fire can't slip off, nor can it just be ignored by the fibers. Surely, flames as hot as the ones in front of him would burn straight through the net, and free the genin below.
Hisaki began to figure out a Plan B in case this one failed, "Maybe I could make a new song. Something more risque, something with a little more class though." Lyrics began to rumble around in his mind, and Hisaki grinned, "Maybe I could parody an older song." His grin turned devilish, "Ooh, there's an idea..." While he was scheming, the flames had been burning away at where he'd dictated. He figured it had been long enough to check on the net's condition, so he dispelled the flames. Smoke poured from the net, so he activated his Byakugan to see what lied beneath. Through the smoke, he could see the tre condition of the net, and Hisaki was amazed at what he saw!

YESH! *hands cake, pie, and cookies to the RNG* Hisaki had burned right through the cloth! The genin jumped, "TOLD YOU Mr. ARROGANT! TOLD YOU IT WAS WAY WORTH IT!" Hisaki grabbed his kunai from the ground, and used them as extentions of his hands to pull up the tarp-like net, and wisk it away from his genjutsu-mind-warped buddy. Hisaki slipped the kunai into their pouch, and grabbed onto Yuki with both hands. With a hard yank, Hisaki ripped the Yamanaka from his net-prison, and threw him onto the bare ground beside it. Hisaki laughed, "Come on! We gotta catch up to Notwen before he screws up or something! Wake up buddy!"
