Sunkit dropped the stick next to Dawnkit. "Is that good?" she asked seriously.

Smokepelt unexpectedly arrived in the nursery, barely keeping her head up with her tiredness. "So Mothfur is kitting... how nice at a time like this." she muttered, but knew she needed to give advice. "But I will help as much as I can. I've kitted before." she mewed with a knowing expression, thinking of Poppypaw.
"Ah, I see you already got the chamomile, and you even got Sunkit to bring you a stick." Smokepelt began, thinking to herself for a moment. "She might need Juniper Berries... Oh! And importantly, Raspberry Leaves." she explained further. She remembered a lot of her own kitting, and despite being tired from the fox, was glad to help.
Mothfur looked up at Dawnkit, desperation clear in her eyes. "I know you'll do a good job... you will be StoneClan's medicine cat apprentice soon, after all..." she praised, going into a pained whine.

"Yes, perfect."
Dawnkit declares sharply as she gather the stick in her mouth and then presented it to Mothfur.
"When it hurts chew on this."
She declares sharply, and then turned to Smokepelt. Relief was clear on her face, a warrior, and not only that, but one that had kitted before. The advice was very sound as she looks over at them both. Then back at Mothfur as she gave her that comment. She felt the tips of her ears were hot, and she smiled lightly.
"Maybe."
Then she turned her eyes back on her two new helpers.
"Sunkit, if you can ....and thanks for your help so far, stay by ..Mothfur's side." "I am going to get the Juniper berries and Raspberry leaves."
"There isn't much more I can do for her then that, and besides, I think I need some air."
It was true, all this pressure for a kit that ran from it normally ...was a lot, and as she ran full pelt for the medicine den ....she felt just a bit better.
Gathering the items she came back just as quickly ....she entered the cavern carefully.

He walked over to the fresh kill pile and dropped it on the pile. He looked around the camp but there didn't seem to be much of a difference, so he padded towards a shady spot and laid down.

Amberpaw backed out of the den, sitting outside. He felt like he was in the way since he wasn't doing anything. He sat there, his tail lashing back and forth, (Will I have to go thought this when my mate has kits?) He thought, then sighed, knowing he would.

Sunkit shifted akwardly. "Well umm if you need me I'll be outside. Not far though." she said then she walked out and sat next to Amberpaw. "Hey."

Dawnkit saw Amberpaw moving to leave, and her fur fluffy up. Had he been standing there the entire time, and she hissed at him. Though his back was turned as she went after him ...only to stop when she saw the two together.
She didn't want to accidently trip into a bad situation, but, she did need the wet moss as he calls out to him.
"Go get the Wet Moss, Amberpaw." "Don't you remember me asking for that, since, Sunkit got all the others, I was thinking you went for that."
She sighed openly.
"Sunkit, could go with you ...you know."
She declares before going back inside. She had wanted to say something else, but, there was sensation that maybe ..now wasn't the time. Besides, she had enough on her paws without worrying about something like that.

Amberpaw looked at Sunkit, "Hi," He said, then turned his head at what Dawnkit had said. he nodded and got to his paws, "I'll be right back," He padded off for the camp entrance, disappearing out in to the woods.

(( @SaphireDannie: Oh, did you want to have a kit in Mothfur's litter? If so, you can go right ahead! ))
Mothfur felt another contraction, biting into the stick. It hurt her teeth a bit, but it was much better than clenching them together. Afterward she started panting again, seeing that Dawnkit came back. "Thank you Dawnkit... you can go ahead and take a small break in a little bit. This can take all night..." Mothfur huffed.
"My kitting went pretty quickly because I only had one kit, but Mothfur is probably going to have three or four!"

Sunkit shrugged and flopped down on the ground putting her head on her paws. She continued to watch them from where she was but she was glad to be further away.

Amberpaw ran back in to the camp, his mouth full of the wet moss. He gave it to dawnkit, breathing heavily since the moss had blocked his mouth. He went and lay back with Sunkit, sitting down heavily.

"No way, I had my little break, so, I will be here until it's over."
Dawnkit mew back as she saw Amberpaw come in with the Moss. She grabbed it lightly in her jaws as she nods her head in thanks, too bad, he was already on his way ...as she stalks back over to her.
"Are you thirsty?"
She asked as she place the wet moss on the ground. Her tail twitching from one side to the other. If she decline it, she would take the moss and place it on her head ...somehow she felt that she probably got hot during such a time.
[Can we do a time skip for the kits to be born?]

(( Alright, we'll skip to the part when the kits are just born. Besides, roleplaying birthing scenes tend to get awkward. n_n; ))
Finally, at midnight, Mothfur had successfully given birth to three kits.
Mothfur felt like she could pass out at any moment from tiredness, but she needed to stay awake just a little bit longer. She let out a relieved sigh as the kits were finally born, and she was no longer in pain. One kit was a muscular jet-black tom, another was a brown tabby she-kit with a kinked tail, and the last was a light brown tom just like their mother.
It's easy to come up with names for these kits. She thought, smiling. "I think I'll name the black one... Shadowkit." she started, licking his forehead. "The tabby she-kit will be named Kinkkit. And the brown one will be... Dustkit." she finished, curling her tail around the kits.

Shadowkit curled up to his mother and let out a soft meow as he looked for her milk.
