He lead his new acquisition up the hill to her new home.
"What's your name, girl?" he asked, trying to keep at least an iota of tenderness to his voice to keep the question from being too base.

He hadn't put a leash on her. Somehow, he didn't think she'd need it. Besides, if she wanted to run then it was better that she did it now rather than later. He didn't want her deserting during the war.
As for her name, he decided to shorten it, slightly and give it more flow. "Are you cold, Lulu?" he asked her, observing the usual slight but certain and inexplicable coldness that seemed to seize everyone upon getting closer to the manor.

Angel noticed two figures coming from a distance. "Oh master's back! And he brought a friend!" Angel went to open the door, singing quietly to herself. 'I wonder what the new arrival will be like!' Angel loved meeting new people, human or not.

"Don't worry," he said. "Your discomfort will soon be ended. While the air is always crisp and chill outside, it is always comfortably warm inside."
"Also, I intend to replace your clothes," he added. "You'll be given a tail coat, a fedora and a cape, similar to mine. You'll be expected to wear it while you serve me, either in battle, or domestically."
During this time he had not looked back, but continued up the hill. He did turn then to face her, though he did not stop walking. He continued, "You should not expect to be made to battle often. In fact this should be the only time."
His lips twisted into a smile, as he turned back to face the manor which was getting closer and he quietly added "No one will ever dare to challenge me again after this victory. We outnumber him 19 to eight, and I'm still not finished. It will be a slaughter of epic proportions..."
After trailing off, he turned back to her a final time and added "Though you'll only be expected to heal," he said.

Sergius was waiting outside, armed as he had been since the alert was given. Matasoga and Sergius quietly exchanged a few code sentences to ensure that both were exactly who they appeared to be before taking everyone back inside, as Sergius locked and barred the thick, heavy ebony door.
"Angel, and Lulu, time is a bit short, but I should be able to give you both a brief tour before the battle starts," he said. Communication had been a bit sparse, and although the battle should have started already. Given that he was already late to come and challenge him, it was best to simply be ready.

"its nice to meet you to"lulu said and shook her hand softly,awaiting the tour from her master.her fuzzy black tail was now wrapped around her wrist.
