"sure, I love archery. I know, maybe you'll get claimed soon." Arianna said looking over at Alex, her eyes where sea green today, the laughter in them had died away when she heard all the emotion in Alex's voice.

"Alright," Alex said brightening, he could tell he was making Arianna sad, so, to brighten her mood, he decided to challenge her. "How about we have a little competition, nothing serious, just for fun, on the range?"

"okay, that sounds fun." Arianna said, her eyes started to sparkle at the idea of have an archery competition.

The walk to the range was short, and Alex selected his bow. He wasn't sure whether he wanted compound or long bow. He could use both. Compounds were easier, but long bows are more fun to use. He ended up choosing the long bow. A good, well made one at that.
He turned to Arianna, "Are you ready?"

Arianna picked up a compound bow, and notched an arrow, "I'm ready," she said and shot her arrow, hitting the bull's eye.

"Nice shot," said Alex as he too notched his arrow. Choosing a target further off he loosed his arrow. It flew, straight and true, to the center of the target.

Mina was keeping an eye out on Arianna, as she was busy thinking,'Arianna is interesting...i wonder when i can challenge her in the arena, exactly?' as Mina somehow prays that her flirting can be kept under control during the Arena match, as Mina is just grateful that her own mother doesn't frown on bi-sexuals in terms of helping them, despite being hetro, herself.
Mina then pulls out her hair pin, and pulls out Amata to go have a few swings with her sword, as she takes various fighting stances that her father had to teach her how to use.

"cool," Arianna notched her arrow and shot it at the same target she shot at before and she split her own arrow.

Mina noticed how Arianna was apparently a more able archer than Percy was, when he first started archery classes, as for reasons Mina dare not mention, Mina didn't want to embarrass Percy in Archery Classes, every time she'd consider mentioning Percy's classes in that department!
She then said to Arianna,"Pretty soon, you could even rival some of the best archers of the Apollo Cabin, in a friendly manner, of course!!!" Mina added, as she didn't want herself or Arianna to make war on the Apollo Cabin, since they were her friends, too.

"So that's how you managed to shoot so well!" Mina said, as she then asked,"When you're done, is it alright if we can take each other on in the arena?" as Mina was somehow eager to fight Arianna, as Mina then said,"Besides, more newcomers are pouring in, since my dad is helping the convoy, right now!" as she looks at Arianna!

"Is there anything i can do to help?" Mina asked, as she goes to look at Arianna's bow and go to pick it up, as she said to Alex,"So what do you plan to do, Alex?" as she goes to see if Kattie was in the area.
Mina then goes to pull out her sword, and turn it back into the hairpin it was disguised as, as she placed it in her light pink jacket.

Mina said, as she then admitted,"Besides, you're clearly more powerful than Messapus happens to be, because if Messapus was under yours and Percy's calibre, i don't know whether or not my half-brother Aeneas would have succeeded to get his people to settle in the Hesperian Lands in Western Europe!" as Mina goes to gracefully walk, swinging her hips slowly, as she walks, enchanting some of the ladies and gentlemen to stare at her.
