"Oh...ok mom..Have fun on your trip and be safe ok?" he would have said more, but he was pulled down and given a kiss, which he of course protested "Gah..MOM!!" he rubbed his cheek harmlessly as most teenage boys would if kissed by their mother..."just have fun ok" he said in a final good bye as he too vanished into the forest
Jerome waved one last time to his son to give Koyuki a chance to catch up with him and sure enough she had done so fairly quickly. He felt her try to take his paw and although he didn't really want to, he didn't fight it in any way.
"Shall we double time it to the campsite?" he said hoping to get his mind of the fact that his daughter is talking to an ODST and his son was interested in Trov's daughter. It was unsettling to him, and he really just wanted something else to think about

Sighing gently to herself, she could feel that tension as if it were as thick as butter. It would have gone unnoticed but since she felt so strongly and at ease with him; anything different clued her in immediately. Was he really so concerned, it was troubling but....well; I guess she didn't know. She had only seen what had happened when Trovalius was brought in by Jerome.
"That would probably be best, I'm sure we'll get everything done in time if we hurry." Koyuki removed her paw from his and folded it infront of her, waiting for the invitation that he would drop down.

He nodded and without a word further he got down on all fours once more, hoping it would be the last time for the day. To his surprise, he was actually getting kind of tired.
"Sorry...I'm just...thinking...I know..dangerous right?" he said finally managing a smile. It made him feel a bit better. Nothing drastic, just enough to try and bring him back to a good mood.
He waited patiently for her to jump on as she always did and he felt that small fire jump back into his muscles as they were once again, ready to fire on all cylinders

"Very dangerous." Koyuki couldn't help the gentle giggle as it slid from her lips, making her way onto the back of her mate as she leaned down to clutch to his chest. "Ready." She admitted and waited for him to go, resting her head along his spine by his neck.
"Although....maybe you should think dangerous thoughts about tonight..." The vixen couldn't help but chuckle, hoping that was a good enough 'hint' for the male.

He chuckled as he took off like a bat out of hell at her first notice. He was glad to be running again. The wind rushing past him drowned out his thoughts and the fact that he constantly had to react to the surrounding land was enough to keep his mind off of things.
After a half hour of leaping relentlessly of the foliage, he finally skidded onto a familiar path and followed it up to the hill where there camp remained. He skidded to a halt and bent down to let his mate off, panting only just a little bit from the run

Having allowed her own mind to slip along the journey, she was surprised how fast it had gone before the camp came into view. As the male slowed and finally stopped she slid off, and stretched her arms from being tense.
"Well....time to rustle up some grub for tonight then? I can't say I brought enough for two days; but luckily there is much around here I can work with." Koyuki smiled, turning back to glance at Jerome over her shoulder with her hair tousled from the ride.

Just starting to catch his breath, he looked up as she started to suggest food. "Well, what's around here? I know I saw you picking stuff up this morning" he said as he stood straight and on his two back paws once more. He looked around, not truly seeing much other than the sun was starting to make it's decent into the horizon. They probably had an hour until it would be as beautiful like the night before

"Well, I do have fresh vegetables and vegetation from this morning, we could attempt to recook the remaining skewers if you feel brave to attempt! Otherwise I saw some nuts this morning which would at least make it a little more satisfying." Koyuki trotted over to the tarp and disappeared inside, returning with the cooler bag.
Taking the finished skewers, she took out a small wheel of metal and began to tie it to each of the skewers and back again to make a sort of frying grill. "I hope it will be enough for you, for I wasn't expecting to be staying for another dinner." A sheepish smile crossed her lips as she continued to weave the wire to make it strong enough to hold the food.

"Well I can always see if I could go out and catch something if you are unsure of the food. I'm sure it won't take much to find a rabbit or...something small" he said, knowing well they were famous last words. Granted he was good at hunting, but he didn't know how he'd hold up trying to catch something without a gun.
"Oh we could settle for that and the vegetables" he said with a shrug and a smile. He didn't want to impose on anyone or anything, but he could certainly say what was offered would not be able to satisfy him for long. Especially with how much running he had done during the day

Thinking for a moment, she knew she wasn't feeling so hungry. Perhaps it was was events of the day or the weariness of the morning that had put her off her appetite, but she turned to smile at him and give him a thumbs up. "I would work with something you catch so long you have a knife to skin it with. So if you'd like, why not? It'll probably take the same time I need to prep it all."
Finishing with her new little contraption, she dug into the bag to pull out all she would need. Taking a moment to look back to her mate and see what he decided he would do.

He walked over to where she was and listened to her speak while leaning on a tree with one arm. After she spoke, he nodded and looked to the forest. "I have a knife handy, so I can go and see what I can find" he said as he walked over to his armor and reached to one of the thigh plates, pulling out a good sized knife that could easily do some damage to anything. "This should do, so I'll be back as soon as I catch something. Then I'll get a fire going" he said as he delicately took the knife and found a way to sheath it, making sure he would randomly stab himself while running.
He moved over to her quickly and kissed her lightly on the cheek before grinning and then disappearing into the forest, hoping to find something fairly quick
Having had a long day of forging the proper fitting armor for the much smaller vixen, Cynder was walking through the shadow realm, feeling rather exhausted from working as hard as he did in order to finish the request. The realm above appeared as a see through ceiling of sorts, where distorted white figures remained oblivious to the world just below their feet. He approached where he knew the cliff to be, expecting to arrive just before the happy couple had, he was surprised to find the two white figures of foxes move around above him.
As one ran off, he identified the other as the female he sought, and soon he found an area from which he could merge into the real world. Floating up to a tree shadow, he opened the seemless portal and seemingly grew from the ground in the real world. Only until he stood on the ground of the real world did he move from the trees shadow.
"Have you had a productive day?" he called to the female in his usual warm and gentle voice

"Sounds like a plan!" Koyuki grinned and gave another thumbs up with her paws before startled momentarily at the peck to the cheek which sent her lips into a silly little grin. Watching him dissapear she brought her lifted paw to her cheek and gave a small chuckle, it was almost scary how easily he was able to swoon her to the day.
Returning to her dicing of the the vegetables so they would be ready for when he returned, she began dwelling on things when the voice called out to her and she bristled; snapping her head in his direction. "It's you..." She breathed and placed her things delicately down before standing.
"Yes....actually. Got everything squared away before we leave." She admitted, folding her ears back slightly as she did feel a bit nervous; or was that just her lack of food making her tummy curl. "Does this visit mean you've actually finished it?"

Taking off into the woods, he crouched down and began using his large keen ears to detect any stirring on the forest floor. He heard birds heading home for the night and insects starting to make the forest turn into a noise filled echo that made things difficult, but he was in luck. He stalked ahead and saw a lone doe stray from the small herd. He perched himself on a rock and waited silently and patiently for the grazing deer to venture slowly forward
The knight listened to her, realizing she once again had little to say, but it was understandable in his eyes.
Upon her request, he held out a single paw, and with a small glow in his palm, a tiny metal box appeared. "Do not be fooled by it's appearance. Once you take it, it will form into the armor which is desirable to you." he said as he took a knee and held his paw outward for her to take, bowing his head

Perking her ears in intrest as he pulled something out, she seemed momentarily confused at such a little thing before he decided to tell her what it was. For such a magical armor she would have expected something more......grand? Once he dropped to his knee and held out the little box, she wondered if it was still such a good idea; her insecurities of trust weary from prior encounters with dark beings.
None the less she found her paws moving without command and drawing her to the little box still she stood infront of him with her paws folded up against her chest. "It doesn't hurt....does it?" Perhaps it was a silly question, but she wanted to be prepared for it if it did. "Does it have the ability to...I dunno, dissapear too or will I have to haul it around?"
As much as she wanted to, she hoped it could be as easily summoned as he seemed to come and go.

He waited for the deer..she inched closer and closer to him, until finally she was grazing on the moss right on the rock he perched on. Wriggling his shoulders, prepping to pounce, he silently took the knife into his mouth and targeted it to where he would drive the blade.
Her head rose. He pounced, only for her to take off running, with him following behind, soon catching up and leaping onto her back like a puma, wrapped his arms around her neck and using a free hand he took the blade and stabbed it straight into her jugular. A clean kill...something Jerome hadn't felt in years
He waited for her to take the box from him before standing once more. "The armor is your servant. If you wish it to be gone, it will obey." he said calmly as he prepped for a demonstration with his own armor. All he did was shut his eyes and thought his armor to wait for him in the spirit world. As he did, the armor all over his body started to glow a light blue, and as it grew lighter it began to fade, until it was just gone.
"That is how your armor will work. Once you wish it out of that box, it will be yours to command. If you wish it to be in your closet, then it will wait for you there and return at any moment you need it" he explained
