I have reason to believe that I will ganked after my fight by the NPC chars that Hael, KB, and Striker have/will bring/brought into my fight in order to godmod a death as they did to Gojira and King Ghidorah in the Exhibition thread. A preventivtive ruling would be appreciated, as I seem to be the target of trolling due to my char's beliefs and my personal preferences.

I helped approve Noire's profile, and I didn't see anything referencing Hokuto Shinken. And believe me, if there's anyone who knows how wrong it is to bring that into a player character without properly framing it for roleplay, it's me.

Simply put, I don't care if your character is supposed to be like Kenshiro in that he's a master of fists. We have plenty of those in the tournament already. You can toss me every wikipedia article my way explaining how this and that does this and that, and in the cases where it sounds reasonable I can understand. That whole "shifting frame of reference" thing to me sounded more like taking hits a certain way to use it to your advantage.

But if you use it to brick through another person's attacks entirely and make yourself immune to blunt attacks, you're effectively trying to make it so that no one can beat you in a hand to hand fight unless they knew the same outlandish principles or had characters that used ki in a certain way. That just doesn't work.

It also ignores he fact that Hoshiko is supposed to have super strength in addition to her ability to strengthen her limbs. As such, being able to shrug it off with the same kind of visual effect/power Kenshiro uses that makes normal punches useless on him is just not gonna fly.

I'll be sure to take note of all this when it comes to the judging phase.

So if they do, have your character go all ******** YOU I'M GODZILLA b***h and just go OM NOM NOM on them.

We're not here to hold your hand. If your character is incapable of defending himself, then I question the wisdom of entering him into a fight tournament in which the odds of dying are pretty high.

It's as I said. If you think you're being trolled, walk away. Honestly though, it's the exhibition thread. People in there are being silly. If you want a serious fight, then ignore them and fight someone else, and let them have their fun with eachother.

Edit: And considering youre in there playing silly characters to, you just need to do the same thing theyre doing and have fun with it. If you're gonna take it seriously you might as well just not interact with them.

In short, don't be a victim about it. Otherwise people -will- target you.

I remember a video where scientists would make little ant robots and try bending their limbs. The AIs were designed to compensate for several missing limbs. after a while, even though they were just machines, I started to feel sick watching these mangled robots struggle to survive while forces beyond their control kept stripping them of their power to act.
